Canada’s biggest alt-rock export Mother Mother and multi-Platinum singer/songwriter and producer Cavetown join forces for a massive North American co-headline tour this summer, with Destroy Boys supporting on all dates. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on June 7 in Phoenix, rolling through boutique amphitheaters from coast-to-coast, hitting famed venues like Red Rocks in Colorado, with stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Vancouver, New York, Chicago, and more. The tour announcement arrives as Mother Mother share their new single, “Nobody Escapes” — listen HERE via Warner Records and watch the captivating video HERE . “ In ‘Nobody Escapes,’ we sing cheerily about the indiscriminate nature of death and how, regardless of status, good looks or physique, the reaper comes for us all,” says Guldemond. “The animated video that accompanies our rollicking and blasphemous album opener follows suit, depicting a sinister factory where conveyor belts and machinery crudely sort through freshly fallen souls.”

The track is the latest offering from their highly anticipated new album, Grief Chapter , due out February 16 via Warner Records . Pre-order HERE . The album was introduced by lead single “Normalize,” which arrived alongside an intense video directed by acclaimed horror director Colin Minihan ( Grave Encounters, What Keeps You Alive ). 2024 has been an exciting time for the singer song writer, Cavetown. He has been in the US this year for the first time since 2022 and is excited to be promoting and playing tracks from his latest studio release, ‘Little Vice’. One of his tour dates will be at the Stage AE on 10/09/2024, an iconic venue for alternative music, and will be a great place to experience Cavetown live.

Robin Skinner, better known as Cavetown, self-released his first album at the age of sixteen. He has repeatedly shown he has a wonderful knack of uncovering personal experiences and emotions in his material in a way that has listeners clinging to every word in his songs. His single, ‘Prom Dress’ became an online viral sensation with over 125 Spotify streams and has been used in over 100,000 TikTok videos.

Cavetown has a disarming power that conveys vulnerability and shows beautifully in his close-knit live shows that feel personal. Due to his talent and authenticity, he has amassed a global following and also caught the attention of critics and influential media, such as The FADER, V Magazine and The New York Times. NME hailed him as a, ‘bedroompop hero building worldwide community’, after the release of his 2022 studio album, ‘Worm Food’.

Joining Cavetown on tour is the singer song-writer, Frankie Cosmos and her backing band. Cosmos has an enigmatic feel to her music, creating tracks that have been inspired by Frank O'Hara's poetry, DIY ethics of K Records and the early 2000s New York City's anti-folk scene, and will be a brilliant support act for Cavetown’s tour.

We’re thrilled to present UK musician/producer Cavetown, heading to Australia and New Zealand in February 2024  to grace stages in Melbourne (SOLD OUT) , Sydney (SOLD OUT),   Brisbane (SOLD OUT) and Auckland with his extraordinary live show.

Leading a peaceful but massive assault on the official soundtrack of his generation, Cavetown sneaks into headphones and homes through the power of his songs. Sometimes he enters through a suggested YouTube video, sometimes through TikTok and sometimes in collaboration with another artist such as beabadoobee or chloe oriondo. From the general to the particular: his irresistible pastel-coloured pop explains the contrasts of the gen-z zeitgeist, but also those of a host of unique and personal stories happening in post-adolescent bedrooms all over the planet.

Since self-releasing his debut single ‘This is Home’ in 2015 at just 16 years of age, Cavetown aka Robin Skinner, has proven the disarming power of exposing his most deeply hidden thoughts and feelings, steadily amassing his devoted following. On his new album worm food, Cavetown delivers his most elaborately realized body of work to date, shaping his idiosyncratic storytelling into songs that ultimately give voice to our own most intimate emotions.

The follow-up to his 2021 EP Man’s Best Friend, worm food arrives as Cavetown ‘s latest full-length since his major-label debut Sleepyhead, a 2020 release that inspired NME to hail him as a “bedroom pop hero building worldwide community.”

As with all his output, Skinner produced worm food on his own, holed up in his garage and infusing his understated alt-pop with a powerful new vitality and with his live set, with full band, firmly in mind. “It was fun to imagine how something might come to life onstage, and to think about how I might interact with the audience at different moments.”

Currently performing headline dates across Europe after a run of premium festivals such as Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, Rock Werchter and Montreux Jazz Festival across the Euro Summer, Cavetown ’s Australia & New Zealand tour dates are not to be missed!
