Top tips for finding cheap flights to the Philippines

  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Philippines flight deals.
  • One of the most popular airport destinations in the Philippines is the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL). When flying here from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), passengers will find a number of one-stop flight options aboard Turkish Airlines, Asiana Airlines, and Philippine Airlines.
  • A quite popular airport destination in the Philippines is the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB). When traveling from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), passengers will find one-stop flight options aboard Qatar Airways and Emirates.
  • One airport that has a great location on the coast of the Philippines is the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH). When flying from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), you'll find a number of two-stop flight options to this airport.
  • Parents traveling to the Philippines with kids who plan on renting a car should know that this country does have a national seatbelt law that says that all children under twelve years old must travel in the rear of the vehicle, and they need to ride in an appropriate child safety seat.
  • If you are trying to get to Nacpan Beach in the El Nido region, the El Nido Airport (ENI) is the most convenient airport for the trip. If you plan on departing from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), you will find a number of two-stop flights that make the trip to the airport.

  • If you’re planning on seeing as much as possible throughout your time in the Philippines, Cebu can be a great option to fly into due to its location at the center of the collection of islands making up the Philippines. The Philippines are connected with a dense system of ferry routes, with different boat types available to suit your budget and level of desired comfort.
  • The accepted currency in the Philippines is the Philippine peso but bringing cash to change into pesos can be a wasted effort, as ATM fees in the Philippines are comparable to what they are in the US, and the exchange rate can be more reliable through ATMs. If you’ll be using an ATM, using one while you’re still in or near the airport can be beneficial, as ATMs on some smaller islands are few and far between.

Top 5 airlines flying to the Philippines

They could have had more up to date movies/better choice of music.

Terrible experience will never fly Delta again. Delayed flight with total disorganization and inept crew who wouldn’t communicate.

Will try never to fly Delta international again. Flight delayed and staff completely inept in dealing with it. Would not communicate, rude, completely disorganized. Once we reached Seoul the staff there had no idea what to do with us and led us around the airport from one pointless line to another. They were clearly not told how to manage the situation even though they had hours to make a plan. Never again.

They texted me my gate number and then they texted me again it’s now boarding but in different gate, and the gate was so far from the gate they texted me earlier. I have to run just to get to my flight. They always do that.

Really good! I like all the crew, they were so nice and very efficient.

The flight crews were extremely professional helpful and courteous. Departure and arrival times were accurate. No delay. Thanks

The flight crews were extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. Departure and arrival times were accurate. No delay. I will use K airline again. Thanks

Not very comfortable seated in the back plane due to turbulence

Everything about Korean air is great, hands down! Will always prefer this airline from other carriers.

I enjoyed flying on Korean Air. The service was great and the food was yummy, especially the bibimbap and cold spicy noodles. The only thing that bummed me out on this red-eye flight was that my seat did not properly recline so I was not able to sleep.

On time service. Seat comfort and the crew service very good .

Only one Hindi movie from LAvto Taipei and same movie from Taipei to Singapore Really horrible and we call it entertainment???

Food was ok. Could have been better. Entertainment was limited, especially for kids.

The crew was very helpful. Food was prepared with great care and tasted wonderful. Movie selection was a bit limited. The bedding on the seat is a little too thin for sleeping.

Their announcement was not quite clear in Chinese. The rest is pretty good.

The hygiene of the bathrooms were terrible. Urine smells leaked out into the cabin and the seats were really tight, even for a petite woman like myself. Flight attendants did not go through the cabin enough to offer refreshments.

Fast and efficient boarding. Flight was on time. Service was very good for our long flight. First time flying with this airline and I would highly recommend.

Eva Air's Business Class is pretty decent. With the given price, I think that the food can be better.

Pleasant, comfortable, and entertaining. All told, ZERO issues with it. And sadly, so far the flight was WAY more comfortable than the hellhole that is "Lambug Beach Resort" at Badian Beach!

It was a pleasant fly with Eva Air from NYC to Taipei. The crew were friendly and the food was exceeded my expectation.

Short lay over. Seat assignment was terrible. Was traveling as a family and end up being seated separately. Will not use underpricer ever again.

Unable to set seat assignment. Got a call from presumably “China airlines representative” but was asking for an exorbitant amount for the seat assignment. Was traveling as a family end up being assigned to different seats as a result. Will never use underpricer again.

Not many selections for entertainment. Bulk head seats are no longer available with out fee at the counter. That’s pretty lame.

All of the staff were very helpful, polite I was very satisfied with China Airlines The food was normal for airlines but I’m sure they could do better

Everything was efficient. Good leg room. Food was good. Staff were friendly.

I would have liked to know how to order a special meal (for medical purposes) before the flight.

Staff very friendly and helpful Everything was clean and most important on time Unfortunately let down by the quality of the food Would be very happy to use them again

Very good , the weather was terrible, but i admired the professionality and politeness and care from the crew, and the excellent contition of the plane

My flight to Los Angeles was canceled Had to book another flight and you charged me extra $500 Very bad experience

It was a 2 hour flight to Taiwan. Lunch was served. China Airlines goes above and beyond for their passengers.

Dinner was served at the wrong time as soon as we boarded. Most were sleeping.. there was no food service carts for hours. We had to specifically ask for water, snacks etc. for the 15 hour plus flight, there should have been 3 meals served. Instead we only got the breakfast 1 hour before landing. Will try other airlines like Qatar for future travels.

No proper procedures or announcements for boarding. Not even water was served on flight. Could not check in on line. This option was not available .

I like the paper menu with lists of food, so that I don’t need worry about to pick up the food I don’t like, because crews are busy to do food service, mostly not enough food information they can tell. Well, one of the lady was not friendly at all, I asked three times my daughter wants a cup noodle during the flight, she gave me the reason is they have half an hour for serving food three times. There are more than 200 people on the flight, it takes them more than hour and half to do food serving, think about it, how long we can get food, around two hours. I don’t like she gave a stupid reason other than to make a cup noodle right away. Unfriendly and lazy.

Great experience, smooth checking, boarding and flight. Service during flight were great, crew members were very professional. Thank you!

Flight delayed in NYC and missed Hong Kong connecting flight to Guangzhou. While being given a hotel room and a 30 dollar voucher to eat in the airport, the delay caused a few big inconveniences , a 12 hour delay should have been better compensated for.

Wanted different plane design with an additional bathroom at the back of the plane.

There is very little in the title" Premium" in the Economy experience with Cathay, Melbourne to Hong Kong. The seats are uncomfortable and the cabin with outdated 1990's decor and trim. The food service was sloppy and the leg room providing little to no advantage over regular economy seating. Infact, the Sunday flight was not fill occupancy and I would have done better saving the significant additional costs for the PREMIUM ticket and taken advantage of the seating. If you are a regular premium economy traveler of EMIRATES expecting the same experience on CATHAY, you will be disappointed. Emirates far superior.

Great, the flight attendants were very friendly and the food was also good.

The first economy rows have remote space in the seat which eats in the seating space. The seats are also smaller compared to other airlines.

The overall flight went well and the aircrew was pleasant.

Food was satisfactory, movie monitor not working. Other than that on time and pleasant crew.

First and foremost it was a Philippine Airlines.my experiences ,number one non- stop flight no lay over not other airlines, number two ,boarding they calling by ground letter.number 3 stay on time no delay flight

Worst airline. They had 3 security checks just to get onboard and no notification prior. Had to throw away any liquid bought at duty free because one of the security checks was prior to boarding the plane. My onboard media console was not working, the flight attendant said they will check on it but did nothing. Pretended we did not ask for it to be rectified for a 17hr plane ride. Horrible experience. My first and last time taking Philippines Airlines.

first time flying PAL/WAMOS, ang got to say, i’ve had much worst… the good: - front sitting is not too bad. legroom is pretty good considering economy standards. - staff is friendly and pleasant, starting with checkin, boarding and flight. not unforgettable, but pretty good. the bad: - boarding: stick with rules. besides priority sitting, when you say board from certain range of numbers (starting from back), make sure you let everyone know to stick with this… not with everyone letting in all at once! - food: had fish ad family members had beef. both are quite bad (saying this nicely). the fish is dry, whilest beef is rough as leather. both tasteless. - washrooms arr dirty! - seats, though good legroom, not much padding, hard on the backside! - entertainment: feature movie is the bachelor (circa 1999). no music offerings.

Bad experience... Flight schedule should be on time, ours was 2 hours delayed both ways ,Mla-Panglao-Mla. Priority lane for Seniors & PWD should be practice but our Panglao-Manila flight, both priority & regular lanes boarded the at the same time, the only difference is that we were coming on 2 different lanes. It depletes the purpose of priority lanes.

Poor check in attitude , terrible food , movies selection poor, food came out cold , service terrible , entertainment system also broke so we had to use a iPad , worst biz class I have ever been on

When I checked in, there was no option available for selecting a gluten-free meal. The lounge offerings were inadequate for someone with a gluten-free diet, and the staff in the lounge were not helpful at all.

Check-in was tedious. They could just have used the electronic boarding passes and counter checked the passengers’ names in their manifest. What’s the use of the early checkin if we still have to queue at the only 1 functioning checkin counter!

I’m 6’2” and the seats were too close together for my knees, very uncomfortable.

So far pal express is much better than Cebu pacific in terms of customers service and in flight crew. And on time departure and arrival . Especially if you're taking airbus 320 plane . But the small aircraft like bombardier . It usually delayed .

Philippine Airlines Partnerships & Alliances

Philippine Airlines is currently not part of any major airline alliance. However, the airline has codeshare agreements with several airlines such as Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, and WestJet. These codeshare agreements allow Philippine Airlines to expand its network and offer its passengers more destinations around the world.

In addition to codeshare agreements, Philippine Airlines has also formed notable partnerships with other airlines and corporations. One such partnership is with All Nippon Airways (ANA), where the two airlines have a joint venture for flights between Japan and the Philippines. This partnership allows for increased connectivity and more flight options for passengers traveling between the two countries.

Another notable partnership for Philippine Airlines is with Air France-KLM. This partnership allows passengers to connect seamlessly between the two airlines and offers more flight options to destinations in Europe and North America.

Philippine Airlines also has partnerships with other airlines such as Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, and Malaysia Airlines, among others. These partnerships allow for increased connectivity and more options for passengers traveling to and from Asia.

While Philippine Airlines is not part of a major airline alliance, its partnerships and codeshare agreements allow the airline to expand its network and offer more destinations to its passengers.
