“Just for my suggestion” Actually i would like to say that this app is mindblowing performence. And also one more thing i would like to add that the only one suggestion to the ixigo groups that is u have to start a an advance quota booking. Let me explain , the person who wants to travel after a cetrin period later but he wants to book/hold the ticket as per present day of the fare with out booking and only giving an advance amount of 1000/- because some people was not clear that his date of journey may be little changed. If he/ she wants to continue the journey on the particular pre booking date they gets the ticket fare of that particular pre booking date. If may be not to travel then the advance booking amount not to be refunded thats all.

No update when flight was cancelled by airlines 10 days before

I had booked my flights a month back using ixigo. My airlines(SpiceJet) had cancelled the flights 10 days before my travel date, I hadn’t received the msg from them (which is a entirely different story). Customers booking through an app tend to rely on information present and updates provided via the app. ixigo was not updated with any information at all, they were sending notifications saying your flight is on time , your flight is scheduled etc, when the flight was actually cancelled. we had to find out at the airport that flights are cancelled. When called on customer service we got no help from them all they said was “we understand but, we can’t do anything” We had no flights home that day, had to make reservations that costed us double the price. I even asked if they can provide an alternate flight with any discounts cause clearly we had the wrong information at hand. But no help at all no matter what. Asked for a refund they only said have to check with the airline on this. This app is of no use you cannot rely on any info on app as nothing is updated. They provide discounts to attract you but they have outdated info, once booked no support post the same. Really disappointed with this.

We had booked the round-trip ticket to…

We had booked the round-trip ticket to Manchester United from 06-Nov-2024 and return on 17- Nov-2024. BUT when we called and enquired about the tickets they are telling 06 NOV 2024 TICKETS are book and 17-N0v-2024 ticket and we were not aware about the tickets as been cancelled ...now we are for refund from past one week they just mail Everday as they need more 72 hrs. to resolve issue when we call them to check for refund they are telling no that they are waiting for Airlines to confirm this is going on from last week ...Below is PNR NUM -K3JAMI.. if this is not sorted out same issue with all mailer will post in all the social media.. Guys please don't book any tickets from them as we have paid 1 lac for the tickets, and they are not giving us proper reply and also .. Madhu & Usha

I have a bad experience with IXIGO Assured Flights .I cancelled my flight ticket(IXIGO Assured) 21hrs before the flight boarding, but to my surprise I have not received the Full Amount as Assured, only received a fraction(20%) .The company is Not keeping the Assurance?

I really what to give ZERO review.... The app for international flight show everything is available after booking you check with customer care they say nothing is showing up, please check with Airlines we cannot do anything. They have no information about anything....for rescheduling they charge more than the airline...they send a link to pay the difference amount valid for 15 mins in email and by the time you check it's expired...call them back for resending the link the price has increase just in 15 20 mins the price goes more 50% high than the previous one... They say directly our manager is not available and only we can help... I suggest you never book anything for them...all hidden charges and completely scam...

I booked a flight with ixigo in swiss airlines…

I booked a flight in swiss airlines through ixigo, i had to reschedule my flight due to a serious reason and there was a same flight available with the same excat time next day that was necessary for me, Swiss Airlines clearly said that they can reschedule but ixigo guys did not wanted to do and wanted to grab my money for free and this way they forced me to makey flight no show and guess what both up and down flights were on the same PNR so i lost both onward and returning. 1000 USD flight It almost felt like "you've paid for the flight, now you're stuck!"

I booked a flight with ixigo in swiss airlines…

I booked a flight in swiss airlines through ixigo, i had to reschedule my flight due to a serious reason and there was a same flight available with the same excat time next day that was necessary for me, Swiss Airlines clearly said that they can reschedule but ixigo guys did not wanted to do and wanted to grab my money for free and this way they forced me to makey flight no show and guess what both up and down flights were on the same PNR so i lost both onward and returning. 1000 USD flight It almost felt like "you've paid for the flight, now you're stuck!"

An IIT Kanpur BTech Electrical Engineering alumnus, Aloke Bajpai, obtained an MBA, General Management from INSEAD and then an MBA, Exchange from The Wharton School. Bajpai started his career as a Software Engineer at Amadeus SAS, who was eventually promoted to the post of Sr Systems and Network Engineer.

He then served as the Vice President at Final Quadrant Solutions before launching Ixigo in 2007. He is also serving as the Director in Freshbus and Director in Confirmtkt.

Rajnish Kumar

Rajnish Kumar is known as the Group CPTO & Co-Founder of Ixigo. Like Aloke, Rajnish is also an IIT Kanpur alumnus from the Computer Science & Engineering department. He also interned at ETH Zurich in Data Modelling/Warehousing and Database Administration.

Rajnish also worked at Amadeus SAS as a Software Engineer and was then promoted to Sr. Software Engineer and Technical Lead. He then joined as a Director of Development at Isango! Kumar finally decided to found Travenues or Ixigo in 2006.

Ixigo - Startup Story

The entrepreneurial bug was always there inside the IIT Kanpur wingmates-cum-colleagues, Aloke and Rajnish. However, they were somewhere trapped in the 35-hour per week work rule at the French corporate Amadeus. To disentangle themselves from the clutches of the work life, both of them decided to leave their high-paying jobs in Europe and returned to India in 2006, fully geared up to follow their dreams. They rented a studio apartment in Gurgaon and set up their workplace.

In the initial phase, the Ixigo founders didn't have a clue of what they were going to do with the entrepreneurial itch that they nurtured, but soon they found out how painful was making travel bookings for several destinations in India was. This gave them the impetus to start up with a travel meta search website for flights in India in 2007. For a year, they worked with no salaries. Over their persistence, ixigo was born.
