‘Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror’ Returns to Travel Channel This October

The Halloween season is approaching, and Travel Channel announced its Halloween 2023 lineup, featuring the return of the paranormal investigation show Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror .

Join Osbourne as he investigates paranormal entities in some of America’s most historic and haunted locations with the help of his family and celebrity friends like Jenny McCarthy, Jason Mewes, and Jamie Kennedy.

In the season premiere “Glen Tavern Inn,” airing on Sunday, October 1 at 10 p.m. EST, Jack investigates the Glen Tavern Inn, a century-old hotel in Santa Paula, California with a tragic past. Accompanied by his mother, Sharon Osbourne, Sharon is initially skeptical about ghosts but becomes convinced that something dark lives in the hotel’s historic suites. As the investigation intensifies, Sharon becomes the target of an angry and oppressive male spirit, resulting in a mysterious medical emergency.

“Tinker Swiss Cottage”

Jack and guest investigator Jenny McCarthy investigate Tinker Swiss Cottage in Rockford, IL, where recent construction has upset the ghosts of the Tinker family, leading to aggressive activity. Premiere on Sunday, October 8 .

“ Nevada State Prison “

Jack and Kelly Osbourne get locked into the Nevada State Prison. With its history of violence and mayhem, will this abandoned penitentiary torment the siblings, making them succumb to its dark past, or release them unscathed?  Premieres Sunday, October 15 .

“ Ashmore Estates “

Jason Mewes and Jamie Kennedy join Jack at Illinois’ Ashmore Estates for a crash course in paranormal investigating. This former poor farm turned psychiatric ward holds many dark secrets, some still rumored to be six feet under. Premieres Sunday, October 22 .

“ Virginia City, Nevada “

In the 2-hour season finale, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne send their kids to haunted Virginia City, Nevada. Jack and Kelly tackle Piper’s Opera House and the Washoe Club, two paranormal hot spots that may hold the key to understanding this Wild West town’s dark energies. Premieres Sunday, October 29, from 9 pm to 11 pm EST .

“Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror” – Paranormal Investigation Series Returns to Travel Channel This Halloween

Halloween programming is about to take over the small screen as we barrel towards spooky season, and Travel Channel has begun to announce their Halloween 2023 lineup.

This October,  Jack Osbourne continues his journey into the paranormal and embarks on some of the most spine-tingling investigations of his career with a new season of “ Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror .” Joining Osbourne this season is his famous family and some of his closest celebrity friends, who all have a desire to get a deeper understanding of what paranormal entities are lurking in the shadows of some of America’s most historic and haunted locations.

The season kicks off with an unexpected twist as Sharon Osbourne’s paranormal crash course turns into a medical emergency when “Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror”  premieres Sunday, October 1 at 10/9c on Travel Channel .

In the season premiere,  Glen Tavern Inn airing Sunday, October 1 at 10/9c on Travel Channel , Jack is accompanied by his mother Sharon Osbourne to the Glen Tavern Inn, a century-old hotel in Santa Paula, California that has a colorful but tragic past. While Sharon enters the investigation unsure about whether or not she believes in ghosts, the more time she and Jack spend at the Inn, the more she is convinced something dark is lurking in the hotel’s historic suites. As the investigation’s energy grows things take a dramatic turn. Sharon lands in the crosshairs of one of the Inn’s most volatile entities, an angry and oppressive male spirit known for overtaking female guests – ending in a still unexplained medical mystery.

Over the course of the season Jack is joined by The Prince of Darkness himself,  Ozzy Osbourne  and sister Kelly as well as friends  Jenny McCarthy ,  Jason Mewes , and  Jamie Kennedy  for a series of all-night investigations that elicit terrifying, yet eye-opening paranormal findings. Ozzyappears in the season finale, alongside Sharon, to kick-off a 2-hour episode which will see Kelly and Jack visiting various haunted locales in an old town in Nevada.

From a seemingly friendly, yet very active haunting of an old museum in Illinois to an eerie medium session at a dilapidated estate that has an evil entity lurking in its basement, among other terrifying explorations, the new season of “Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror” features incredibly compelling new evidence of the paranormal.

‘The ‘Burbs’ – Keke Palmer Starring in TV Series Adaptation of Joe Dante’s 1989 Classic

Joe Dante’s dark comedy favorite The ‘Burbs is headed to the small screen with a TV series adaptation for Peacock , and Keke Palmer ( Nope ) has been set to star in the series.

Variety reports that The ‘Burbs has been ordered straight-to-series by Peacock. Celeste Hughey (“Palm Royale,” “Dead to Me,” “High Fidelity”) is adapting Dante’s film for television.

Here’s a particularly cool bit from the website’s report: “ The series will film on the Universal Studios backlot, just like the movie .” The show’s official synopsis previews…

“Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home.

“Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.”

Seth MacFarlane will executive produce, along with Brian Grazer of Imagine Entertainment.

Keke Palmer is starring and also executive producing.

Joe Dante’s original movie starred Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Bruce Dern, Rick Ducommun and Corey Feldman, the film centered on a n overstressed suburbanite and his neighbors who become convinced that the new family on the block is part of a murderous Satanic cult.

Brian Keiper celebrated 35 years of The ‘Burbs here on Bloody Disgusting earlier this year. He wrote, “Joe Dante had made horror comedies before— Piranha  (1978),  The Howling  (1981), and  Gremlins  (1984) all certainly qualify, but The ‘Burbs was something different. It is first and foremost a comedy, filled with often over-the-top absurdist humor, with horror woven through like the dark threads in a tapestry giving the film its wholly unique character.”

It's time to start preparing for spooky season e news has all the details on ghostober, 55 hours of halloween programming from travel channel, food network and discovery+..

Who said you can't prepare for Halloween in August?

No one—which is a good thing since E! News has the epic lineup for Ghostober, the spooky season schedule from the Travel Channel, Food Network and discovery+. This year, viewers can expect 55 hours of ghoulish shows and specials, including the highly-anticipated return of Zak Bagans ' Ghost Adventures .

Bagans is also collaborating once again with master of horror Eli Roth  on the   new special,  The Haunted Museum: 3 Ring Inferno . Did anyone else just get goosebumps?

Plus, there's the chilling new series from Jack Osbourne , who will revisit his childhood home in  Haunted Homecoming . We have a feeling that his parents Ozzy   and Sharon Osbourne  will be tuning in for that.

It's no wonder Warner Bros. Discovery's U.S. Networks Groups chair Kathleen Finch  declared Ghostober as "the unofficial start of the holiday season," adding, "We are officially the home of Halloween."

Get ready for Ghostober on Travel Channel with the return of Ghost Nation . The series will return with brand new episodes in October, and a Halloween reunion special has Kindred Spirits’ Amy Bruni and Adam Berry reuniting with Ghost Nation’s Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, and Dave Tango for a special investigation.

Travel Channel revealed more about the return of Ghost Nation in a press release.

Paranormal sightings are on the rise and we need these guys now more than ever. Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, the paranormal investigators responsible for igniting the ghost hunting phenomenon, are back this Ghostober with all new episodes of the hit Travel Channel series, Ghost Nation , premiering on Saturday, October 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT . Each one-hour episode spotlights locations with bigger, edgier mysteries, the danger is more in focus and the mission and what’s at stake are always in the forefront for the team. Not only will the team be helping terrified homeowners, they’re also investigating a deadly, abandoned glass factory, a demonic tattoo parlor and a mansion with a secret room sealed shut for a century, all to help people and their businesses survive. And they are joined by paranormal investigator Shari DeBenedetti to keep a close eye on the monitors, reviewing footage on the hunt for all things paranormal. Revelers can celebrate Halloween night with the ultimate series crossover, joining forces with old friends Amy Bruni and Adam Berry from Kindred Spirits . The ghost hunting teams reunite for the first time in nearly a decade (they starred together on SYFY’s Ghost Hunters ) to explore frightening activity inside an illustrious Newport, Rhode Island, mansion in Ghost Nation: Reunion in Hell , a special two-hour episode premiering Saturday, October 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. “We are ecstatic to get back to doing what we love, and we have some incredible cases to share,” said Hawes. “We were able to reconnect with our longtime friends Amy Bruni and Adam Berry. It seemed like time had stood still over the last 10 years as we rolled right into investigating and gathering some mind-blowing evidence and experiences.” “Working with Amy and Adam was an absolute blast and the investigation was phenomenal. Under the United Paranormal Research Organization (UPRO) banner, it isn’t only Hawes, Gonsalves and Tango facing off against an unseen entity. Local paranormal groups, sometimes even the homeowners themselves, join the team as they employ new devices and techniques for confronting and questioning spirits. They’ll do whatever it takes to entice the ghost into telling its story and stop at nothing to get to the bottom of the paranormal phenomena. In the premiere episode, “Evil Ink,” Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and Shari DeBenedetti investigate the paranormal events plaguing the Zone13 Tattoo and Body Piercing shop in New Jersey. They head to the town of Deptford to investigate the tattoo shop where disturbing apparitions, disembodied voices and even physical encounters are threatening the business. With all these strange happenings and fresh evidence, the UPRO team will determine if the shop is actually haunted by one of the property’s former owners, a woman named Bertha. “Ghost Nation: Reunion In Hell” – Premieres Saturday, October 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (Two-Hour Crossover Special With Amy Bruni and Adam Berry From “Kindred Spirits”) In this spine-tingling, two-hour Halloween special, “Ghost Nation” stars Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango are calling in their old paranormal pals, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry of “Kindred Spirits,” to reopen a case that has taken a sinister turn. Seaview Terrace is the 40,000-square-foot Rhode Island mansion famous for being featured on the TV show “Dark Shadows,” but the owners were shocked to find out that a recent visitor – a self-proclaimed warlock – had performed some sort of blasphemous ceremony in the house. Now, they’re experiencing a shift in the mansion’s energy, unleashing something more menacing. The team scours 100 years of history to discover a notorious patchwork past, filled with lavish high society parties and possibly a scandalous murder.

I love the show, the team etc, HOWEVER the over produced sound effects ruin the authenticity and you can’t always hear the activity by the effects that are not necessary.
