Drake tour 2023: See the setlist for the 'It's All a Blur' tour

it's a blur tour song list

Drake kicked off his It’s All a Blur tour with a dizzying amount of music.

The rapper-singer launched his 56-date tour in July at Chicago’s United Center and held true to his promise that the show would be “a celebration of the last decade.” For his first headline outing since 2018’s Aubrey & the Three Migos tour, Drake uncorked 48 song appearances while performing on a massive square stage.

During that show, he told the crowd, “I have an album coming out soon for y’all.”

Drake’s run with opener 21 Savage – who joined him for a few songs during the main set — is slated to crisscross the U.S. through Oct. 9 in Columbus, Ohio.

Drake and 21 Savage delivered a jam-packed setlist for the opening night of the “ It’s All A Blur ” tour that launched at Chicago’s United Center on July 5. The show marked Drake’s first concert stretch across North America since the “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour hit over 40 arenas in 2018.

From there, he dove into a hits-filled set that included “Marvins Room,” “Headlines,” and “The Motto,” tallying up to a total of over 40 songs, according to setlist.fm .

21 Savage joined the festivities later in the show, making his entrance with “Red Opps,” and teamed with Drake for “Spin Bout U,” “Jimmy Cooks,” and “Rich Flex” from their “Her Loss” collab album. The rapper performed a total of 12 songs on his own while Drake’s solo set doubled that.

During the last few songs, someone in the audience threw their cell phone at Drake, hitting him in the arm in the process. In the past few weeks, several pop singers — namely Bebe Rexha, who was left with a black eye after someone hit launched a phone at her — have experienced similar unruly behavior from fans at shows. Drake didn’t react to or address the mishap on stage and closed with a vampish rendition of “Legend” from “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”

Drake Profile

Drake is a rap artist from Toronto, Canada. He is arguably the most successful rapper of 2010 and onward. He has released numerous albums and mixtapes, including his “Certified Lover Boy” in September 2021. CLB features the singles “Way Too Sexy” and “Girls Love Girls”.

In 2018, he released Scorpion. It contained the singles “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What”, which both made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in the #1 spot. After its release, the Scorpion album went on to earn over a billion streams in its first week. A third single, “In My Feelings”, reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Drake has broken nearly every Billboard rap record and impressively spent five full YEARS with at least one song on the chart. His last album was called “More Life” in 2017, which was referred to as a playlist album and was marketed alongside his “OVO Sound” radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1.

Drake also owns his own record label, OVO sound (October’s Very Own). The most successful artist on the label is PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake’s protege. The label also features local Toronto acts Majid Jordan, OB O’Brien, and others.

Throughout 2018, Drake toured North America on his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour with openers, Migos. In early 2019, he announced the Assassination Vacation Europe tour with Tory Lanez. On the Drake setlist in 2019 there were an impressive 40+ songs performed on tour.

Drake released Certified Lover Boy in 2021 and both Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss in 2022. He released For All The Dogs in 2023, which featured First Person Shooter with J. Cole. A 2024 tour called Big as the What is based off of an adlib in the song.

The 10 best debut albums of 2024… so far!

These artists have come out of the gate with incredible records – check out our list

NME best debut albums of 2024 so far

If anything, this year has proved that many emerging artists are truly on the cusp of greatness – despite the endless knocks, financial cuts and setbacks that could have easily come in their way. No matter what the world continues to throw us at all, a slew of beautifully crafted and moving debut albums have shown that there are bountiful stories still yet to be told in music, and those behind them are still determined to make a name for themselves.

  • READ MORE: The best albums of 2024… so far!

These newer names deserve to be celebrated. By powering through and reacting to this period of global hardship by speaking out and standing by what’s right – The Great Escape and SXSW boycotts being two fine examples of this collective activism – young, enthusiastic artists continue to thrill and evolve, while inspiring music fans the world over.

From emotional and hard-hitting drill to sprightly indie-pop and luminous amapiano, an array of musicians have stepped up their game with these thrilling debut albums.

English Teacher – ‘This Could Be Texas’

Who: Wittily penned art-rock that’s not afraid to deconstruct modern Britain What NME said : “What you have in ‘This Could Be Texas’ is everything you want from a debut; a truly original effort from start to finish, an adventure in sound and words, and a landmark statement.” Key track: ‘Nearly Daffodils’

K-Trap – ‘Smile?’

Who: Pioneering drill star looking to transform and uplift his scene What NME said : “Now that K-Trap has evolved and now stands as a luminary in his scene, ‘Smile?’ inspires those like him – and others – to gently move on from their past and see the bright side of life.” Key track: ‘Whistle’

Kneecap – ‘Fine Art’

Who: Firebrand rappers with humour, guts and headline-making power What NME said : “Feeling voiceless, powerless, unseen, unheard and unwanted, the Belfast rap trio keep the Irish language alive with a hedonistic but brave debut.” Key track: ‘Better Way To Live’ feat. Grian Chatten

Lip Critic – ‘Hex Dealer’

Who: Chaotic, genre-busting four-piece capable of transporting you to another world What NME said : “ Lip Critic are the band of the moment. A full-on, disruptive force emerging from their city’s underground scene – their music rides high on a bolt of infectious energy.” Key track: ‘It’s The Magic’

NewDad – ‘Madra’

Who: Starry-eyed and emotive shoegaze-pop from the west of Ireland What NME said : “‘Madra’ is the sound of a band who have reckoned with where they come from and used it to map out where they’re going. They’ll likely see you at the top.” Key track: ‘Sickly Sweet’

Rachel Chinouriri – ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events’

Who: Charming songwriter ready to take UK indie-pop to the next level What NME said : “As a portrait of a life (and career) transformed, ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events’ is consistently charming, while offering enough range in sound and scope to hint at Rachel Chinouriri’s future ambitions.” Key track: ‘It Is What It Is’

Sprints – ‘Letter To Self’

Who: Electrifying rock that dares you to face your deepest emotions What NME said : “This is a dynamic album that is reflective of the muddled world we find ourselves in – delivered with a fortifying sense of honesty from an essential emerging band.” Key track: ‘Can’t Get Enough Of It’

Tyla – ‘Tyla’

Who: Amapiano sensation with bags of ambition and confidence What NME said : “Through sheer tenacity, Tyla anoints herself as South Africa’s brightest new star, reinforcing that amapiano was never a ‘moment’ – and only ever a true movement.” Key track: ‘Jump’

The Last Dinner Party – ‘Prelude To Ecstasy’

Who: The year’s biggest – and most theatrical – breakout band What NME said : “Rendered in strings, groove-flecked guitar passages and twinkling keys, the album’s recurring themes ooze out of every verse: girlhood, regret, intimacy, unsatisfying relationships.” Key track: ‘The Feminine Urge’

Whitelands – ‘Night-bound Eyes Are Blind To The Day’

Who: London quartet crafting vulnerable, deeply moving shoegaze gold What NME said : “With an array of unexpected textures, there’s barely a misstep to be found on this romantic, sumptuous record… a dizzying mesh of sound.” Key track: ‘Now Here’s The Weather’

Taylor Swift's London 'Eras Tour' shows bring A-list crowd — and showcase Travis Kelce romance

Taylor Swift got a hometown reception on the road in London.

The singer took her “Eras Tour” to Wembley Stadium over the weekend — the first three of eight shows there this summer — and the stars turned out for it. There were British royals and Hollywood royalty, and she made sure to give them a show, bringing out boyfriend of nearly one year, Travis Kelce, for an unforgettable cameo.

"Wembley Stadium round one was so surreal," Swift wrote in a social media post on June 24. She acknowledged the engaged audience and shouted-out her special guest performers, Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Gracie Abrams. Kelce was featured for the second time in the last few days — solidifying the social media "hard launch" of their relationship — and she praised him for his "Eras Tour" debut, which she said she's still "cracking up/swooning over."

Swift added that she's "never going to forget these shows."

The pop star — who famously sang, “Home is where the heart is, but god, I love the English” — had the VIP tent at max, but there were stars all over the arena, which holds up to 90,000. Most notable was Prince William, celebrating his birthday, with his little Swifties, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They enjoyed the three-hour concert from box seats on Friday — with William showing off his dance moves — and got up close and personal with Swift backstage.

The trio helped the power pair make their nearly one-year-old relationship Instagram official with what is a contender for the celebrity selfie of 2024.

While London may have once been the backdrop for Swift’s romance with ex-Joe Alwyn, inspiring many songs, this is a new chapter — and one in which the Kansas Chiefs football star was prominently featured. He was a big presence at all three sold-out shows. He made it a family affair on June 21, hanging with brother and sister-in-law Jason and Kylie Kelce in the VIP area. During June 22's show, he clearly enjoyed his “Karma” callout, high-fiving fans as Swift sang.

Things escalated to a new level when Kelce came out on stage June 23, wearing a tuxedo and top hat, to help Swift during her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” outfit change. He was well-prepared for the skit, which saw him carrying her across the stage alongside her backup dancers, touching up her makeup and fabulously clicking his heels.

That night, Kelce sat with Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott, in the VIP section, which was hopping. Also there were Swift Squad member Sophie Turner, music legend Paul McCartney, who accepted friendship bracelets from fans and bopped along to “But Daddy I Love Him,” Jon Bon Jovi, Cate Blanchett, and Fleabag co-stars Andrew Scott and Phoebe Waller-Bridge .

On June 22, Tom Cruise, Liam Hemsworth, Hugh Grant, Greta Gerwig, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were seen dancing to "Shake It Off." This video is a social media masterpiece, showing all the various stars Swifting it up.

Of note: Even prickly Grant had a good time, thanking Swift via X for hooking up his family — and shouting out her “excellent if gigantic boyfriend.” On June 24, self-proclaimed "Hugh Grant stan" Swift replied, saying Grant's "tweet is very important to my culture."

On June 21, Swift pal Cara Delevingne was there as well as Salma Hayek, Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness.

There were musical surprises as well, including Abrams, who opened for the tour last summer, coming out to sing her newly released Swift collaboration, “Us,” on June 23.

On June 22, Swift brought out Paramore’s Williams to perform their Speak Now vault track “Castles Crumbling.” And it didn’t go unnoticed that Swift performed her apparent Kim Kardashian diss track, "thanK you aIMee," from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.

While it was a gold star weekend for Swift, it wasn’t without some drama.

Fans are wondering what was up with Dave Grohl’s comments, made earlier this month onstage in Manchester, dragging Swift for not performing live when fans thought they had a cordial relationship. Also, Charli XCX had to tell her fans to stop chanting "Taylor Swift is dead" at shows. The backstory there is that fans speculate Charli's song “Sympathy is a Knife” is about Swift as she sings: “Don’t wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend’s show / Fingers crossed behind my back / I hope they break up quick.” Charli is engaged to the 1975 drummer George Daniel, bandmate of Swift ex Matty Healy.

Swift is done with London — but only for now. Her tour continues this summer, but she returns to Wembley on Aug. 15 for five more shows, concluding Aug. 20. We’re sure her team is already fielding a long list of VIP requests for those dates too.

Updated, June 24, 2024, 4:02 p.m.: This story has been updated to include Swift's reponse to Hugh Grant.

Swifties went wild when Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, right, appeared onstage for a bit on June 23. The football player attended all three sold-out shows — with a long list of other VIPs. (Gareth Cattermole/TAS24/Getty Images for TAS Rights Management )

Every single Glastonbury headliner by year – with some shocking last-minute switcharoos

(L to R) Sinead O'Connor, Elton John, Beyonce, David Bowie, Stormzy

Glastonbury Festival is legendary, pulling in some of the biggest names in music throughout its 52-year legacy from David Bowie to Sir Elton John .

Last year’s epic, two-hour set from the Rocket Man pulled in a massive audience at Worthy Farm – and in TV viewers at home .

Looking back at the incredible headliners the festival has seen, it’s no surprise even icons have to wait their turn – unless you’re Coldplay who has played five times and now holds the record for most times as headliner.

Follow the latest news from Glastonbury in our 2024 live blog

Come rain or shine , Glasto is usually held annually in June except for the occasional fallow year to let the ground recover (or during a global pandemic).

Ever since the Somerset music festival opened its doors in 1970 , it’s pulled in some massive names, especially for a gig that only cost £1 to get into originally.

While fans at Worthy Farm are set to hear Sza, Dua Lipa, and Coldplay , those of us missing out are looking fondly back at the headliners who’ve come before…

Crowds of people gather in front of the main Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury

The full list of Glastonbury headliners from 1970 to 2023

1970 – T. Rex

Tyrannosaurus Rex (soon to be T.Rex) took the first-ever top spot for the launch of Glastonbury Festival after The Kinks pulled out.

1971 – David Bowie

Ziggy Stardust became a headliner after Pink Floyd cancelled and, despite his icon status, he would only headline one more time.

1972 to 1977 – No Glasto!

1978 – No headliner

This one is known as the ‘impromptu’ festival with no headliners as such.

1979 – Tim Blake and Peter Gabriel

1981 – Ginger Baker, Hawkwind, and Taj Mahal

1982 – Van Morrison, Jackson Browne

1983 – Curtis Mayfield, UB40

1984 – Weather Report, Black Uhuru and The Smiths

1985 – Echo & The Bunnymen, Joe Cocker and The Boomtown Rats

The Style Council and The Pogues also performed but didn’t get the top spot.

Robert Smith, lead singer of British band The Cure, performs

1986 – The Psychedelic Furs, Level 42, and The Cure

Festival goers could also see Madness and Simply Red, with tickets costing less than £20.

1987 – The Communards, Elvis Costello and Van Morrison

1989 – Suzanne Vega, Elvis Costello and Van Morrison

This year saw some firsts with the first consecutive headliners, as the festival skipped 1988, plus Suzanne Vega as the first-ever female headliner 12 Glastos in!

1990 – The Cure, Happy Mondays and Sinead O’Connor

1992 – Carter USM, Youssou N’Dour and Shakespeare’s Sister

1993 – The Black Crowes, Christy Moore and Lenny Kravitz

Red Hot Chilli Peppers were set in the headline slot but decided to drop out of the then £58 festival.

1994 – Levellers, Peter Gabriel and Elvis Costello

Lower on the listing were some truly incredible talents and future headliners with Johnny Cash, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, Blur, Oasis, and Bjork all performing at the festival.

1995 – Pulp, Oasis, and The Cure

1997 – Ash, The Prodigy, and Radiohead

The Prodigy's Keith Flint at Glastonbury Festival in 2009

1998 – Primal Scream, Pulp and Blur

1999 – Skunk Anansie, REM, and Manic Street Preachers

This year saw two Glastonbury debuts from future Pyramid Stage headliners Muse and Coldplay.

2000 – Travis, The Chemical Brothers and David Bowie

2002 – Rod Stewart, Stereophonics and Coldplay

2003 – Moby, REM, and Radiohead

2004 – Muse, Oasis, and Sir Paul McCartney

Bellamy, Muse’s guitarist, gave the band’s headlining performance some extra spark when he smashed his guitar on stage.

Singer Chris Martin of the rock band, Coldplay, performs on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury

2005 – Basement Jaxx, The White Stripes, and Coldplay

Way before we were all singing Padam Padam, Kylie Minogue was set to headline but cancelled last minute. This year also saw The Killers perform and the return of Elvis Costello.

2006 – Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and The Who

All first-time headliners this year but elsewhere icon Adele was chasing pavements, 10 years before taking the headline spot.

2008 – Kings of Leon, The Verve and (a controversial choice) Jay Z

2009 – Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur

2010 – Muse, Stevie Wonder and Gorillaz

Beyonce headlining Glastonbury festival in 2011

2011 – Coldplay, U2 and Beyonce

While Coldplay returned to the festival for the umpteenth time, U2 managed to nab a headline after dropping out the year before (replaced by Gorillaz). Beyonce was the first solo female headliner since Sinead O’Connor and only the third solo female ever.

2013 – Mumford & Sons, Arctic Monkeys and The Rolling Stones

2014 – Arcade Fire, Kasabian and Metallica

Dolly Parton was also here this year and pulled in a massive crowd despite not headlining.

2015 – Kanye West, Florence & The Machine, and The Who

Florence only took the top spot after the Foo Fighters dropped out and Ye proved another controversial choice.

2016 – Muse, Coldplay and Adele

Adele performs on The Pyramid Stage on day 2 of the Glastonbury Festival in 2016

2017 – Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran

2019 – Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure

2020 – Kendrick Lamar, Sir Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift

Only it never happened because as we all remember, the world was put on pause in the global pandemic.

Sir Paul and Taylor have reunited though, at her Eras Tour in London while Kendrick featured on her track Bad Blood. This lineup would have been legendary though.

2022 – Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Sir Paul McCartney

In a slight switch-up of the promised 2020 headliners, Billie became the youngest-ever Glasto headliner while Sir Paul took the title of oldest-ever headliner.

2023 – Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, and Sir Elton John

A double debut from two icons here – both Guns N’ Roses and Sir Elton had never headlined before.

2024 – Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Sza

Yes, Coldplay again. It’s no secret that this year’s line-up caused a little controversy with fans complaining.

However, it is also one for the history books as it marks the first time two headline slots have been taken up by female performers – it only took 54 years!

And that’s everything right up to this year, fingers crossed the weekend goes well and both Dua Lipa and Sza can make their iconic Pyramid Stage debuts.
