Canada ends SDS visa programme: How this move can impact Indian students
The decision to cancel the sds fast-track visa service raised concerns over delays in processing and uncertainty for many international students from india..
Amid an ongoing diplomatic standoff between India and Canada, Justin Trudeau's government suspended its popular Student Direct Stream (SDS) programme ending a fast-track study permit process for international students.
The government initiative, which helped thousands of international students quickly secure visas for higher studies in Canada, is expected to have a severe impact on Indian students due to concerns over processing delays, who see Canada as a suitable hub for higher studies.
What is the Student Direct Stream that Canada ended?
The Student Direct Stream (SDS) was launched in 2018 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The scheme was introduced to simplify the visa application process for students from 14 countries, which included India.

Notably, the initiative benefitted over 3 lakh Indian students till 2022 who aspired to move to Canada for studies every year given that they meet certain requirements.

The specified requirements under the initiative, which a student had to fulfill were obtaining a Canadian Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) worth CAD 20,635 and English or French language test scores.
The process was quick, concise and streamlined to facilitate quick processing and obtaining travel and stay permits in a matter of weeks, which usually takes months.
Why Canada ended the fast-track visa programme?
The Canadian government has not provided a detailed explanation as to why it ended the fast-track visa service. The move comes at a time when India and Canada's ties are strained due to the Trudeau government blaming the Indian government agents for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

However, the Canadian administration often addressed that the massive surge in applications from international students, particularly from India, has put significant pressure on Canada’s immigration and processing systems.
How this move would impact Indian students
India has consistently been a leading source of international students in Canada. From 2000-2022 over 3,19,00 Indian students received study permits under the SDS programme, making up a substantial part of Canada's international student community.
However, without a fast-track programme, Indian applicants may now experience extended waiting times for their study permits, which can be a significant setback.

Indian students now have to navigate additional hurdles to secure their study permits on time. It also becomes necessary for students to fulfil all detailed documentation requirements and submit their applications well in advance to prevent any potential delays.
India-Canada ties
The ongoing tensions between India and Canada continue to be on the rise amid a diplomatic showdown over Canada's allegation against the Indian government in Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing and violence against Hindus.
Recently, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the threat to Indian diplomats in Ottawa has increased.
Last week, India accused Canada of indulging in "harassment and intimidation" of the Indian consular staff there, saying that they had been put under audio and video surveillance.
With the diplomatic showdown reaching its peak last month, India withdrew its high commissioner to Canada -- Sanjay Kumar Verma -- and other "targeted" officials from Canada, and expelled six Canadian diplomats. Then in a tit-for-tat move, Ottawa expelled six diplomats as well

Why Canada has ended fast-track visas for foreign students? How will it affect Indians?
In a big blow to foreign students, canada has closed its popular student direct stream (sds) programme, effectively immediately. the move ends a fast-track study permit process that had helped thousands of international students secure visas. as a result, students from india and 13 other countries will have to go through more lengthy visa procedures.
In a big blow to foreign students, Canada has closed its popular Student Direct Stream (SDS) programme, effectively immediately.
The move ends a fast-track study permit process that had helped thousands of international students secure visas.
According to a notice from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), it said that “Canada’s goal is to strengthen programme integrity, address student vulnerability, and give all students equal and fair access to the application process, as well as a positive academic experience and to meet this commitment.”
All study permit applications will now be submitted using the standard application process.
Let’s take a closer look.

The Student Direct Stream programme
SDS was introduced in 2018 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with the goal of streamlining the visa application process for students who met certain conditions from 14 countries, including China, India, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Vietnam and the Philippines.
“The evaluation was simplified if they met the language requirement and financial commitment needed, along with a letter of acceptance from a Canadian college or university,” Naresh Chavda, president of Globayan Immigration Corporation, told Hindustan Times .
The approval rate was close to 95 per cent, and the processing time was only four weeks, half the time needed for regular study permits.
The scheme processes applications in 20 days if applicants submit biometrics and meet all qualifying conditions; however, the traditional approach often takes several weeks for Indian candidates.
The SDS cancellation underscores Canada’s growing efforts to regulate its foreign student population in the face of resource and housing difficulties.
As part of its 2024 policy revisions, the government set a cap of 437,000 new study permits for 2025, including all educational levels, including postgraduate degrees.
Additional stringent rules include stricter academic and language criteria for students seeking to be eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), fewer work permits available to spouses of international students, and increased requirements for financial proof, according to The Indian Express .
With a record 807,000 study visa holders in 2023, Ottawa is attempting to strike a balance between the advantages of its foreign education sector and the need to relieve pressure on housing and services.
Advisors urge students to start planning their visas far sooner than they used to in order to deal with the new, more restrictive environment.
Speaking on the new development, Chavda was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times , “They have closed a special programme to attract students. There was no reason to close the programme so suddenly other than to reduce international students intake.”
“Eventually, the interest of students will be lesser in Canada and people may be diverted to other nations,” he added, about the potential impact of the decision.

Impact on Indian students
Students from India and 13 other countries will have to go through more lengthy visa procedures as a result of this programme’s discontinuation.
For Indian students looking for study permits in Canada, SDS had emerged as the go-to option. The SDS scheme was utilised by 80 per cent of Indian candidates in 2022, a notable rise over prior years.
Nearly four out of five Indian students applied through SDS between January and March 2023; applicants had a 76 per cent approval rate, compared to 8 per cent for those who used the traditional stream.
In fact, w hen compared to the regular stream, SDS approval rates for Indian students skyrocketed during the pandemic.
Approval rates for SDS applications were three times higher in 2021 and 2022 than those for non-SDS applicants (63 per cent by the end of 2022, compared to 19 per cent for non-SDS applicants).
This trend persisted into early 2023, when the acceptance rate for Indian SDS applicants reached 73 per cent, which stands in sharp contrast to the 10 per cent approval rate for non-SDS applicants.
The IRCC said in September that the maximum for 2025 study permit issuance will be 437,000, which is less than the 485,000 target for this year. The 2026 figure will be the same as the “stabilising” 2025 figure.
Canadian officials have cautioned that later this year, the decisions taken will come into effect.
This is evident as the numbers for study permits issued between April and June this year decreased to 125,020 from 148,140 in 2023. The decline for India was from 70,340 to 55,940. However, that figure is still almost twice as high as the total intake for 2015.
Multiple-visa entry ended
According to the updated rules, immigration officials will now be able to choose whether to grant a visa for a single or multiple entry and to establish the proper duration of validity.
The Canadian immigration department stated in a recent update, “Guidance has been updated to indicate that multiple-entry visas issued to maximum validity are no longer considered to be the standard document. Officers may exercise their judgment in deciding whether to issue a single or multiple-entry visa and in determining the validity period.”
Factors that can be considered are the purpose of the visit, occupation, financial stability, health of the visitor and more. Additional factors include ties to the applicant’s home country and previous travel compliance.
Earlier, the multiple-entry visa allowed the holder to enter Canada from any country as often as necessary during the visa’s period of validity.
It has a maximum validity of up to 10 years, or until the expiry of the travel document or biometrics.
The department clarified, “It (multiple-entry visa) can still be valid if affixed in a full or complete passport or travel document. In this case, the holder must also be in possession of a newer and valid passport or travel document and must present both documents to the airline carrier to travel to Canada and to the border services officer to seek entry to Canada.”

Canada ends fast-track SDS visa programme; what it means for Indian students
The Student Direct Stream visa scheme launched in 2018 paved the way for thousands of applicants to get study permits within few weeks
In an abrupt move, Canada has ended its popular Student Direct Stream (SDS) visa programme, ending the fast-track study permit process that has helped thousands of international students quickly secure visas.
The SDS programme was launched to ease the visa application process for students from 14 countries including India, China and the Philippines, who met the requirements including a Canadian Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) worth $20, 635 CAD and English or French language test scores.
The programme was launched in 2018 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Under the programme, the applicants could secure permits in a matter of weeks, while the standard processing time often extends to around eight weeks for Indian applicants.
The latest Justin Trudeau's government raised concerns over delays in visa processing and uncertainty for many international students from India. The government's decision is expected to have a severe impact on international students, especially Indians, with many opting to move to Canada for higher studies.
Why Canada ended its fast-track visa programme?
The latest move comes at a time of strained ties between India and Canada over the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Also, the Trudeau government was under immense pressure regarding the massive surge in applications from international students.
However, the Canadian government has not given the exact details behind its latest decision.
How it would impact Indian students?
Around 2 lakh Indian students received study permits in Canada in 2023. Also, Indian students have been a leading source of international students in Canada.
With the fast-track programme terminated, Indian applicants may now experience long waiting times for their study permits. It will now be mandatory to submit all detailed documentation requirements and submit their applications well in advance to prevent any potential delays.
Experts believe that the applicants will also have to face additional hurdles to getting the study permits.

Canada ends fast-track visa scheme: How will it affect Indian students?
Indian students are concerned after canada ended its fast-track student direct stream (sds) visa programme, which allowed quicker study permit processing. the sudden decision has left many aspiring students anxious about their academic plans..

- Indian students face longer wait times for study permits after SDS termination
Canada has recently announced the termination of the Student Direct Stream (SDS) and Nigeria Student Express (NSE) initiatives, which had expedited study permit processing for international students, particularly benefiting students from India. Introduced in 2018, the SDS allowed students from certain countries, including India, to fast-track their study permit applications, provided they met specific criteria, such as securing a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) to demonstrate proof of funds.
With this change, Indian students will now be required to apply through the regular study permit stream, which could lead to longer processing times. The total number of students currently studying in Canada represents the highest proportion amongst the international student community in the country.
“We’re going to have fewer temporary foreign workers in Canada. We’re bringing in stricter rules for companies to prove why they can’t hire Canadian workers first,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a post on X.
The Student Direct Stream (SDS) was introduced in 2018 to expedite processing for eligible post-secondary students. Initially available to residents of countries like China, India, and the Philippines, the program was later expanded to include Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, Colombia, Morocco, and others.
According to a statement from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the primary aim of SDS is to enhance program integrity, reduce student vulnerability, and ensure that all students have equal access to the application process while also ensuring a positive academic journey.
According to the data from the Indian High Commission, India is the largest source country of foreign students with an estimated 4,27,000 Indian students studying in Canada.
Rising diplomatic tensions have further fuelled the Canadian government's decision, which significantly affects Indian students who annually seek opportunities abroad, hoping for a better lifestyle. Additionally, growing domestic conflicts and Canada's slowing economy seem to be influencing this move.
The decision to discontinue the SDS and NSE programmes is aimed at 'strengthening program integrity', according to Canadian immigration authorities. The move is intended to ensure a more equitable process for international students, ensuring fair treatment for applicants from all countries.
The Economic Times daily newspaper is available online now.
Canada has a plan in the works to fast track some visitor visas.
Canada intends to prioritize the processing of certain visitor visas, particularly those related to tourism, major conferences, and events. The move is geared towards facilitating the entry of individuals attending such gatherings in Canada, as long as they are registered with IRCC.

Canada Ends SDS Programme For Fast Track Student Visas. How Will It Impact Indians?
It is said that canada took the decision to end the sds visa programme as part of the country's attempt to address "ongoing housing shortages and resource strain"..
Canada on Friday announced the discontinuation of the Student Direct Stream (SDS) visa programme. This development can have far-reaching implications for Indian students as the SDS programme is a key pathway for international students seeking permits for studies in Canada. It is said that Canada took the decision as part of the country's attempts to address "ongoing housing shortages and resource strain".
Launched in 2018 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the SDS programme was designed to fast-track study permit applications for students from 14 countries. Besdies India, these countries also include Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
The SDS programme made the student application process faster, making access to Canadian educational institutions easier and quicker.
A statement by the Canadian government posted on its official website explained that the SDS programme would be terminated to "strengthen programme integrity, address student vulnerability, and give all students equal and fair access to the application process".
The move by the Canadian government is likely to affect international students, especially from those countries that were previously included in the SDS programme.
What Will Happen To Submitted Applications?
The applications submitted by 12:30 AM on November 9 will still be processed under the SDS programme, while those received after this deadline will be processed through the regular study permit stream, IANS reported.
Students opted for the SDS programme as it was known for its faster processing times and higher approval rates. But with its discontinuation, students from India and 13 other countries will now have to face longer and more complex visa application processes.
As the Canadian government seeks to regain public support amid growing resentment, the number of immigrants it admits are likely to be reduced considerably for the first time in years, marking a major shift in the nation's policy.
Why The Need For Policy Change?
Canada, which is known for its welcoming nature towards newcomers, is now changing its narrative and policy. This comes as officials are pointing to the increased pressure on the country's housing market, rising cost of living, and already overburdened healthcare system, which is put by the immigration.
Canada is reportedly facing the challenges of maintaining public approval while also addressing rising concerns about the impact of the surge in population.
The issue of immigration has become a major point of contention in Canadian politics ahead of the upcoming federal election, expected to be held in October 2025.
According to IANS report, recent polls showed that an increasing number of Canadians believe that the country is accepting too many immigrants. This sentiment is fueling the political debate as the citizens are concerned over housing, job competition, and public services.
This changing opinion is adding to government's pressure to work on its immigration policies in response to voters’ concern.

‘Short-term effect’: Experts cautiously hopeful as Canada ends fast-track student visa programme
Applications submitted after the cut-off for the student direct stream will be processed through the regular stream, which has a lower approval rate and may take longer..
Canada has ended one of its most popular fast-track student visa programmes, the Student Direct Stream (SDS), which was launched in 2018 to help post-secondary students from 14 countries, including India, process their visas more quickly. Any study permit applications submitted after the cut-off will now be processed through the regular study permit stream, which may take longer.
Indian students who submitted their applications under the SDS before the 2 pm ET deadline on November 8 will still benefit from expedited processing times. However, those applying after the cut-off will face longer wait times.
“The SDS route has been popular among Indian students for two reasons—the slightly faster visa approval time than the normal student visa route and the requirement for fewer financial documents, as it only required a GIC to be submitted. The ease of documentation option still continues with the regular student visa route, and Indian students can still take advantage of that simpler process,” explained Piyush Kumar, Regional Director – South Asia, Canada and Latin America of IDP, a consultancy firm.
Why the change?
Although the reason behind this sudden policy change remains unclear, experts are concerned it may adversely affect the plans of Indian students hoping to study in Canada. “While the exact reasons behind this change are not entirely clear, it may be connected to broader immigration policy adjustments or an effort to manage the volume of applications amid current diplomatic tensions. For Indian students, the removal of SDS may introduce additional hurdles, potentially increasing processing times and leading to uncertainties,” said Aritra Ghosal, founder and director at OneStep Global, another educational consultancy firm.
Announcing the end of the programme on Friday, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) said, “Canada’s goal is to strengthen programme integrity, address student vulnerability, and give all students equal and fair access to the application process, as well as a positive academic experience. To meet this commitment, the Student Direct Stream (SDS) ended as of 2 pm today. Canada is committed to giving all international students equal and fair access to the application process for study permits.”
“We remain hopeful that this change is part of a broader plan to refine the visa process, and we encourage students to stay informed and consider all available options while planning their educational journeys,” Aritra Ghosal added.
Indian students already on a student visa in Canada feel the change might also be a step towards reducing the number of temporary residents in the country. Aaryan Arora, who is pursuing a diploma in business administration from Norquest College, believes some students opt for “easy courses” to gain entry into Canada and sometimes end up unemployed after graduation.
Aaryan Arora’s views align with the Canadian prime minister’s recent announcement, where he said, “We’re going to have fewer temporary foreign workers in Canada. We’re bringing in stricter rules for companies to prove why they can’t hire Canadian workers first,” Justin Trudeau posted on X.
Additionally, The Globe and Mail recently reported that Ottawa is preparing to announce a significant reduction in the number of permanent residents it plans to admit . According to the Canadian newspaper, the number of permanent residents will drop from 4.85 lakh this year to 3.95 lakh in 2025, with further cuts to 3.8 lakh in 2026 and 3.65 lakh in 2027, based on information from a senior government source.
Aaryan Arora also noted that the changes could have a “good impact on Canada’s housing costs, which have doubled in the past nine years”. “Once that is achieved and inflation is controlled, Canada might restart the programme and bring back all the other immigrant-friendly policies too,” he said.
Indian students — biggest market for Canada
According to data from IRCC, approximately 13 lakh Indian students received study permits from 2015 to 2024. For 2024, up until August, 1.37 lakh Indian students out of 3.74 lakh international students—accounting for 36.7 per cent—received study permits. India is Canada’s largest source country for foreign students, with an estimated 4.27 lakh students studying there in 2023.
Data from NFAP, which analyses international student statistics, showed that between 2016 and 2019, the number of Indian students in Canada rose by 182 per cent. For the past six years, Indian students have been among the primary beneficiaries of the SDS. According to official estimates, 60 per cent of the four lakh Indian students who sought to study in Canada in 2023 applied under the programme. Under the SDS, the approval rate for Indian students was consistently higher , breaching 70 per cent in 2023. In contrast, those applying through the regular route had approval rates as low as 10 per cent.
What next for Indian students?
While some students and experts are concerned that the process will become longer and more complicated, others believe the impact will be short-lived. “We anticipate the SDS route announcement to only have a short-term impact on applicants targeting the immediate intake in January and May 2025,” Piyush Kumar said.
Indian students applying for a student visa in Canada now should consider that visa processing times are expected to increase. They should thus factor in additional buffer time and apply for their study visas accordingly.
“For applicants targeting all subsequent intake cycles, we advise starting early and allowing about eight to 10 weeks to secure student visa approvals. We understand Indian students’ preference for Canada as a study destination and the popularity of the SDS for quick visa approvals, but even through the regular visa processing route, Canada’s visa approval timelines will remain comparable to, or shorter than, those of other popular foreign destinations,” Piyush Kumar said.
With the 45th Canadian federal election scheduled for next year, Prime Minister Trudeau has introduced several changes to the student visa guidelines. As part of these changes, the government has set a cap of 437,000 new study permits for 2025, covering all levels of education, including postgraduate programmes .
Other changes effective from November 1 include tougher language and academic benchmarks for students aiming to qualify for the post-graduation work permit (PGWP), limited work permits for spouses of international students, higher financial proof requirements, and reduced availability of multiple-entry visas.
“The recent measures Canada is taking , including tighter immigration caps and increased restrictions, appear to prioritise high-quality students aiming for globally renowned institutions. We will need to adopt a ‘wait and watch’ approach, as upcoming events, such as the Canadian elections in 2025, may influence this stance. Historically, Canada has reopened doors to Indian students when demand shifts, given India’s strong applicant numbers. Current dynamics in diplomatic relations may also be influencing these decisions,” said an expert.
Students are also advised to broaden their options. “In light of these changes, students may benefit from planning their applications well in advance and considering additional study destinations, such as Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Singapore . Exploring these emerging destinations can provide more options and broaden their academic opportunities,” said Mayank Maheshwari, co-founder of University Living, which assists students to find accommodation in several countries.
Students already studying abroad believe that Indians need to focus on developing their skills rather than solely aiming to settle abroad. “There are several Indians who come to Canada just to obtain PR and don’t even know how to operate a laptop. This increases the immigration numbers but also raises the unemployability rate here. I would strictly recommend that such individuals first gain skills before planning to study abroad , as rote learning will not work here. I do not recommend coming to Canada for such people,” Aaryan Arora said.

Canada is a diverse country that welcomes people from all walks of life. It has various fast-track immigration programs that cater to skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and family members who want to immigrate to Canada more quickly than through standard methods. These fast-track visa application programs aim to attract skilled workers who can aid in the growth of the Canadian economy and reunite families.
Benefits of fast-track Canada immigration:
Quick immigration to Canada compared to traditional methods.
Qualify for a work or study permit while your application is processed.
You can bring your family members with you to Canada.
Quick access to Canadian government services, such as healthcare and education.
To apply for the fast-track immigration program, you must fulfill specific criteria related to your education, work experience, and language skills. Additionally, you may need to show a job offer from a Canadian employer or prove your ability to support yourself and your family in Canada financially.
Fast-Track Work Permit:
The Canada fast-track work permit program allows eligible foreign workers to get their work permits processed within two weeks. To be eligible for the fast-track program, you must meet the following requirements:
You must apply from outside Canada.
To qualify, your occupation/job must fall under either Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) category 0 or in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system 1.
Your employer must have submitted an offer of Employment through the Employer Portal and paid the employer compliance fee.
Advantages:
You can get your work permit processed within two weeks.
You can work in Canada for up to two years.
Disadvantage:
Before hiring you, your potential Canadian employer may need to prove that they attempted to hire Canadian residents for your desired role but were unsuccessful.
Arranged Employment:
Arranged Employment is when you receive a Canadian job offer that is permanent and without a fixed duration. You cannot start working in Canada until you have been granted your Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa.
Your Canadian employer is not required to prove that they could not find a Canadian resident for the position you are interested in.
We can help prioritize processing your Permanent Residence application in Canada through the Express Entry System at all Canadian Immigration Visa Offices.
Under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) or Federal Skilled Trades (FST) category of Canada immigration, you may be eligible to receive up to 600 points.
Obtaining a temporary work permit is the fastest option. You can be in Canada within a few weeks of submitting your application, if not sooner.
None that needs to be discussed or mentioned.
Provincial Nomination:
If you are a skilled worker aiming to immigrate to Canada quickly, you may be interested in the Provincial Nomination (PNP) program. Every province and territory in Canada has its own PNP, each with its own eligibility requirements.
There are nomination programs offered by most Canadian provinces and one territory that can lead to a Canada Immigration Visa. These programs are similar to Arranged Employment and Work Permits and usually require a permanent job offer from an employer in a specific province.
Once a province has nominated you, you can typically obtain a work permit to start working in Canada immediately, even before you receive your Canada Immigration Visa.
Your Permanent Residence application in Canada will be prioritized, and you can expect to receive your visa in less than a year.
It is possible to be eligible for Provincial Nomination even if you work in occupations not categorized as “ high-skilled .”
Although it may take longer than obtaining a work permit, traveling to Canada using this method is still relatively fast.
Typically, your potential employer in the province must show that they tried to hire Canadian residents before considering you for the job. They must prove that these efforts were without success.

ASK AN EXPERT
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
Is there any visa priority processing for canada.
Yes, there are a few ways to get priority processing for a Canada fast-track visa: Global Skills Strategy (GSS) Super Priority Visa Express Entry
Is a Priority visa guaranteed?
No, a Priority visa is not guaranteed. Priority visa processing is a service that allows eligible customers to decide on their visa application within a shorter timeframe than the standard processing time. However, many crucial factors can affect the processing time of a visa application, including the complexity of the application, the volume of applications being processed at the time, and any additional information that may be required from the applicant.
What is the minimum time to get a visa after biometrics?
The minimum time to get a visa after biometrics is 12-15 days. However, the actual processing time may vary depending on the type of visa you are applying for, the country you are applying from, and the current workload of the Canadian immigration authorities.
ICS is a private immigration service provider for individuals wishing to immigrate to Canada. Our services include but are not limited to application review, document preparation and submission, and immigration consultation.

Visitor Visa Fast-Track
- Thread starter dsuk9
- Start date Jun 1, 2016
Hi guys, I applied for a visitor visa from Australia on June 1st and the processing time is stated to be 22 days. Is there any way that I can fast-track the application process because I have an airline ticket which departs on June 24th? Can I visit the consulate or something? Thanks.
No - there is no fast track process. Note that the posted processing time is just an estimate - it's quite possible for processing to take quite a bit longer. Generally we don't recommend that people book airline tickets until the TRV is approved.
I found out that applying from my home country Indonesia is way faster. Can I submit a new application in Indonesia? Or do I have to first cancel my previous visa application in Australia? How can I cancel my application? Thank you.
