ABOUT THE BANDS:

With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® inductees Def Leppard – Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums) — continue to be one of the most important forces in rock music. Over the course of their career the band has produced a series of classic ground-breaking albums that set the bar for generations of music fans and artists alike. The group’s spectacular live shows and arsenal of hits have become synonymous with their name, leading Def Leppard to be heralded as the world’s greatest live rock band. Def Leppard’s influential career includes numerous hit singles and ground-breaking multi-platinum albums—including two of the best-selling albums of all time, Pyromania and Hysteria, capturing the group’s legendary tracks, bringing together classic Leppard hits such as “Rock of Ages”, Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Foolin.” For the first time, in January 2018 Def Leppard debuted their full recording catalogue worldwide via streaming and download platforms. As they did with the original release of their records, Def Leppard dominated the worldwide charts again, which found their albums charting in the iTunes Top 10 in more than 30 countries, including Hysteria at #3 in the US, and #5 in the UK (36 years after the album had charted at No 1 in the Billboard charts). Def Leppard also had the #1, #2 and #3 records on the US catalogue albums chart. The band have gone on to amass a staggering 5.5 billion streams since 2018, reaching a younger 18-44 demographic that now represents 58% of their fanbase. Additionally, the band have garnered an impressive 15 million followers across their social media platforms. In May 2022, Def Leppard released their twelfth studio album Diamond Star Halos. The album debuted at #1 on the Apple and Amazon Music charts. The album also scored a Top 10 debut on North America’s Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, marking the band’s eighth Top 10 album of their career, and garnered a #1 debut on Billboard’s Hard Rock chart. Diamond Star Halos had numerous Top 10 chart entries globally including a Top 5 debut in the UK. Following the close of their historic 2018 co-headline stadium and arena run in North America, Def Leppard sold in excess of 1,000,000 tickets and the tour grossed over $100,000,000.00, a massive feat in today’s touring world. Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe topped that number yet again with another sold out North American stadium run in 2022 selling over 1.3 million tickets which grossed a staggering $173,500,000.00. As always, the group keep pushing the boundaries with their electrifying live shows.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, the quartet —Vince Neil (vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums) and Mick Mars (guitars) —  has commandeered the rock pantheon for 41 years. The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, garnered 7 USA platinum and multi-platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, 6 Top 20 pop singles, 3  Grammy  nominations, 5  New York Times  best-selling books, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a  Netflix  hit movie. Mötley Crüe continues touring the world with John 5 on guitar as they push the visual limits of live performance.

Mötley Crüe  have amassed over 5 billion streams across digital platforms and the band has over 8 million followers on social media. Known for their iconic live performances, the band has sold-out countless tours across the globe in front of millions of fans with groundbreaking production highlights such as Tommy Lee’s drum-rollercoaster and Nikki Sixx’s flame-throwing-bass. They  pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency with a sold out run in 2012. Mötley Crüe’s hit songs  such as “Kickstart My Heart” and “Home Sweet Home” are frequently licensed by major brands such as  NASCAR, Dodge, Coldwell Banker, Carl’s Jr. and KIA  to name a few and their music can be heard on TV hit shows such as  Stranger Things  and  Cobra Kai  amongst many others.

The band’s biography “The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band” became a New York Times best-seller in 2001 and has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Members of the band have authored 4 additional  New York Times  best-selling books since. In 2019 Netflix premiered “The Dirt” biopic based on the bestselling book which became a global hit movie scoring a 94% positive audience score on  Rotten Tomatoes . As a result, Mötley Crüe gained an entire new generation of young fans who discovered the band through the movie and further solidified their iconic status, relevance and the timelessness of their songwriting.

Fans of the band are also able to buy/rent  The Retaliators  movie on VOD platforms now; Nikki Sixx co-wrote the haunting theme song “21 Bullets”and Tommy Lee makes a cameo appearance in the rock-infused thriller movie. For more info go to  www.retaliatorsmovie.com

Mötley Crüe remains a huge global draw 41 years into their career and, in the summer of 2022 co-headlined a nearly sold out North American stadium tour with Def Leppard. The tour is set to travel to the rest of the world in 2023.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock audiences of all ages.  Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

His 2021 album “Detroit Stories,” inspired by his hometown’s legacy of rock, debuted on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart at #1, and his recent “Live From The Astroturf” video/audio release recently did the same on the UK’s Official Music Video Chart.

While preparing two new albums for 2023 release, Alice continues to do his nightly “Nights With Alice Cooper” syndicated radio show, and still manages to tour up to six months each year on the road.  Alice Cooper continues to bring his own brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does. Known as the architect of shock-rock, Cooper (in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist) has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn, like a great horror movie, even in an era where CNN can present real life shocking images.

Def Leppard and Journey have announced a massive tour of the United States in 2024.

Yesterday evening (December 7), the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees took to social media to announce their “Summer Stadium Tour 2024”, which will see the bands perform in 23 different cities, beginning with Saint Louis’ Busch Stadium on July 6, continuing through cities including Atlanta, Detroit, Nashville and Pittsburgh, before concluding on September 8 at Denver’s Coors Field.

In addition to the double bill, the bands have announced support from Heart , Cheap Trick and Steve Miller Band, who will each appear in different dates across the tour. A full list of tour dates for the “Summer Stadium Tour”, along with information about their respective openers, can be found below.

Members of Def Leppard’s fan club, Rock Brigade Concert Club, will have exclusive access to presale tickets and VIP packages on Tuesday, December 12 at 10AM CST, through the club’s official website .

On the other hand, fans who are not members of the club can also access presale tickets by registering through the tour’s official website , which will also be made available on December 12 at 10AM CST. General ticket sales will go live on Friday, December 15.

The “Summer Stadium Tour 2024” follows Def Leppard’s lengthy co-headlining world tour with Mötley Crüe , which took place between February and August this year. In the middle of the tour, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was assaulted outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida . While taking a smoke, the assailant ambushed him from behind a nearby pillar, tackling him to the ground and injuring his head. 19-year-old Max Edward Hartley was arrested after the incident.

A month later, Allen provided an update via Instagram about his health following the incident. “Thank you all so very much for all of your love and support over the last month,” he wrote. “I am still recovering and getting my mind and body ready for the upcoming Def Leppard tour. Just wanted to say hi and let you know, There Will Be Rock!”

Meanwhile, Journey members Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain have been feuding after suing their former band mates, Ross Valory and Steve Smith. Their relationship has been soured by various factors, including Cain’s decision to play at Donald Trump’s infamous resort, Mar-A-Lago, prompting Schon to file a cease-and-desist against him.

The pair have even reportedly hired off-duty police officers to guard their respective dressing rooms during their last tour , after Schon and his wife allegedly sent an assailant into Cain’s dressing room, which he successfully caught.

DEF LEPPARD To Play 'A Couple' Of Never-Before-Performed Songs On Summer 2024 Tour

Vivian Campbell says that DEF LEPPARD will play "a couple" of never-before-performed songs on the band's upcoming summer 2024 tour.

DEF LEPPARD 's 23-city trek with JOURNEY is scheduled to begin on July 6 in St. Louis, Missouri and continue through September 8 in Denver, Colorado. Along the way, the two Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees will bring their show to stadiums in major cities like Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and more. CHEAP TRICK will play two shows at the beginning of the tour and two concerts at the end of the trek, while STEVE MILLER BAND will join the bill for the majority of shows and HEART will appear on three dates.

Earlier today, Campbell , who joined DEF LEPPARD in 1992, shortly after the passing of guitarist Steve Clark , took to his Instagram to share a video message in which he said in part: "I just wanna say we're here in Los Angeles. We're rehearsing for our big old stadium summer tour 2024. [I'm] super excited.

"[We've] got some new songs, actually — a couple of songs that we've never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever played live before, as well as a bunch of old chestnuts that we haven't played for a long, long time. So that's why we need to practice, just to make sure we don't suck too bad.

"So come catch a show. Look forward to seeing your wonderful smiling faces out there."

DEF LEPPARD frontman Joe Elliott previously shared that the band's set on the 2024 tour will celebrate specific parts of the rockers' history. "We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves," he said in a statement.

JOURNEY recently completed a number of dates as part of its 50th-anniversary "Freedom" tour.

The DEF LEPPARD / JOURNEY tour is being promoted by AEG Entertainment .

Both bands are offering VIP packages through their respective web sites.

DEF LEPPARD 's VIP experiences include a premium seat, personal photo with the band, exclusive merchandise and more.

DEF LEPPARD 's 12th studio album, "Diamond Star Halos" , came out in 2022. A year later, the band followed it up with "Drastic Symphonies" , a collection of reimagining of some of DEF LEPPARD 's greatest hits with London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road . The album spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Classical chart.

DEF LEPPARD 's 2022 stadium tour across North America with MÖTLEY CRÜE reportedly sold more than 1.3 million tickets.

Wow, Wow, Wow pretty much sums this up!

Best live performance i have ever seen from start to finish, a proper English rock band still going as strong as ever.

I would have happily paid double the price i did for the tickets! even the wife loved it despite being more into Norah Jones :-)

would highly recommend as these guys won't be around forever so for me to see a band that were/ have been playing before i was even born is an absolute honour and privilege.

20 thousand plus people, the atmosphere was electric with all walks of life present just shows how much impact their music has on all people.

These are proper musicians and the quality just shows.

If you get an opportunity to see these legends live then take it as this would be a regrettable decision.

AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! ICONIC! PROFESSIONAL! TOP CLASS! FANTASTIC! BRILLIANT! SUPERSTARS! and again AMAZING!!!

With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® inductees Def Leppard - Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums) - continue to be one of the most important forces in rock music.

Over the course of their career the band has produced a series of classic ground-breaking albums that set the bar for generations of music fans and artists alike. The group's spectacular live shows and arsenal of hits have become synonymous with their name, leading Def Leppard to be heralded as the world's greatest live rock band.

Def Leppard's influential career includes numerous hit singles and ground-breaking multi-platinum albums-including two of the best-selling albums of all time, Pyromania and Hysteria, capturing the group's legendary tracks, bringing together classic Leppard hits such as "Rock of Ages", Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Foolin." For the first time, in January 2018 Def Leppard debuted their full recording catalogue worldwide via streaming and download platforms.

The album also scored a Top 10 debut on North America's Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, marking the band's eighth Top 10 album of their career, and garnered a #1 debut on Billboard's Hard Rock chart. Diamond Star Halos had numerous Top 10 chart entries globally including a Top 5 debut in the UK.

Following the close of their historic 2018 co-headline stadium and arena run in North America, Def Leppard sold in excess of 1,000,000 tickets and the tour grossed over $100,000,000.00, a massive feat in today's touring world. Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe topped that number yet again with another sold-out North American stadium run in 2022 selling over 1.3 million tickets which grossed a staggering $173,500,000.00. As always, the group keep pushing the boundaries with their electrifying live shows.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, the quartet -Vince Neil (vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums) and Mick Mars (guitars) - has commandeered the rock pantheon for 41 years.

Mötley Crüe has amassed over 5 billion streams across digital platforms and the band has over 8 million followers on social media. Known for their iconic live performances, the band has sold-out countless tours across the globe in front of millions of fans with groundbreaking production highlights such as Tommy Lee's drum rollercoaster and Nikki Sixx's flame-throwing bass.

They pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency with a sold-out run in 2012. Mötley Crüe's hit songs such as "Kickstart My Heart" and "Home Sweet Home" are frequently licensed by major brands such as NASCAR, Dodge, Coldwell Banker, Carl's Jr. and KIA to name a few and their music can be heard on TV hit shows such as Stranger Things and Cobra Kai amongst many others.

The band's biography "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" became a New York Times best-seller in 2001 and has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Members of the band have authored 4 additional New York Times best-selling books since.

In 2019 Netflix premiered "The Dirt" biopic based on the bestselling book which became a global hit movie scoring a 94% positive audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. As a result, Mötley Crüe gained an entirely new generation of young fans who discovered the band through the movie and further solidified their iconic status, relevance and timelessness of their songwriting.

Fans of the band will soon be able to buy/rent The Retaliators movie as it begins to roll out on VOD platforms around the world this month; Nikki Sixx co-wrote the haunting theme song "21 Bullets" and Tommy Lee makes a cameo appearance in the rock-infused thriller movie.

Mötley Crüe remains a huge global draw 41 years into their career and, in the summer of 2022 co-headlined a nearly sold-out North American stadium tour with Def Leppard. The tour is set to travel to the rest of the world in 2023.

Def Leppard Share Snippet of New Song ‘Just Like ’73’

Def Leppard are giving fans a sneak peek at their upcoming single “Just Like ‘73.”

“Light up the fuel. Just Like 73. Hotline Now Open,” declares a message from the band on social media (Def Leppard, it should be noted, didn’t form until ’76). The post is accompanied by a pair of phone numbers – one for the U.S., another for the U.K. Fans who call the hotline are greeted with a recorded message, followed by a short snippet of “Just Like ‘73.”

The teaser is certainly enough to get Def Leppard fans excited. Backed by a propulsive backbeat, Joe Elliott can be heard singing what appears to be the tune’s pre-chorus: “A stardust religion, It’s the end of days / I ride through the crazy on electric phase / A universal lust, it’s so crazy cool / So turn on to me, it’s time to light up the fuel.”

“Just Like ‘73” marks the first new original material from Def Leppard since their 2022 album Diamond Star Halos . More recently, the group released the LP Drastic Symphonies in 2023, a collection of the band’s previous songs re-recorded with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Are Def Leppard Going on Tour?

Def Leppard will be busy this summer, as the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers are set to hit the road with Journey on a massive co-headlining tour. Steve Miller Band , Heart and Cheap Trick will also perform at various stops on the trek, offering a lineup of classic rock heavy hitters. The tour kicks off July 6 in St. Louis and ends Sept. 10 in West Valley City, Utah.

Def Leppard is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of their landmark album Pyromania . The band released an expansive box set called Pyromania 40 in April, complete with demos, live recordings and outtakes from the LP’s recording sessions.
