Queen + Adam Lambert’s 150-minute career-spanning set list celebrates the band’s extraordinary back catalogue, lining up wall-to-wall immortal anthems like “We Will Rock You”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Radio Ga Ga”, and “Somebody To Love” alongside classic deep cuts and vintage fan favourites. Featuring a dazzling state-of-the-art stage design, incredible special effects and set pieces, this sense-swamping extravaganza has been blowing critics and fans away the world over.

As with last year’s UK and European dates, the 2023 North American tour will see Queen + Adam Lambert supported on stage by their regular band members, long-serving Queen keyboard player and musical director Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren.

Having extensively toured over the last few years, the Rhapsody show is forever evolving. But it remains at heart a tribute to Freddie Mercury’s majestic legacy, a confirmation of Brian and Roger’s undimmed musical prowess, plus a magnificent showcase for Adam’s vocal skills and electrifying stage charisma, all of which adds up to a glorious full-blooded celebration of one of the greatest songbooks in rock history. Read more on the story of The Rhapsody Tour so far, including the special performance opening the Platinum Jubilee concert with the late Queen herself tea cup tapping to the beat of “We Will Rock You” HERE .

TICKETS: Tickets will be available via a general onsale beginning Friday, March 31st at 10AM local time at LiveNation.com .

MORE ON TICKETS:

Queen + Adam Lambert appreciate that it is an enormous task to try and stop scalpers from taking advantage of fans wanting to purchase tickets for the tour. In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for The Rhapsody Tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.

Fans will still have protection against unforeseen circumstances. Those who purchase tickets and are no longer able to attend their show will be able to sell their tickets at the price they paid using a face value ticket exchange, including the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange – which is free to use for buyers and sellers. More information on how the Ticketmaster Exchange works is available here .

Unfortunately, the states of NY, IL, and CO have laws in place which protect ticket scalpers – these laws prohibit artists from being able to restrict the transfer of their tickets to face value exchanges only. For shows in these states, Queen + Adam Lambert strongly encourage fans to only buy or sell tickets to one another on face value exchanges. More information can be found here , with more details to follow in the coming weeks.

Queen + Adam Lambert Unveil North American ‘Rhapsody’ Tour Dates: ‘These Are New Glory Days’

Queen Adam Lambert

“These are kind of new glory days for us,” said Queen guitarist and founding member Brian May, who was literally knighted by King Charles III earlier this month. “It’s nice to think that hopefully there will be the demand for that.”

But the guitarist, along with founding drummer Roger Taylor and singer Adam Lambert , was on the other side of the Atlantic in Thursday, in New York to announce the group’s 14-show North American leg of its “Rhapsody” tour — its first since 2019 — which runs from Oct. 4 through Nov. 11.

The tour follows last year’s 36-date summer tour across the U.K. and Europe, which included a 10-date residency at London’s the O2 Arena and opening the Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace in recognition of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign.

Shows on the overseas “Rhapsody” tour dates featured around 25 songs plus four encore numbers, and included the hits “Killer Queen,” “Fat Bottomed Girls, “Another One Bites the Dust, “We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions” and the song with more than 2 billion Spotify streams that lent its title to a film and this tour, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Queen promises some deeper cuts on this jaunt. Lambert says, “I’m not sure exactly what we’ll pull out for this one. Look, I would be happy just to show up and do what I was told if that was how it was. But I’ve been really fortunate to work with these two gentlemen who are very collaborative, and we get to all throw ideas in and work things out. I’m really grateful for that it makes me even more invested in it.

“I’ve also been really lucky that in the past we’ve done a couple of my solo songs together. That’s been a real honor,” he continued. The one-time “American Idol” star released “High Drama,” an 11-cut covers album in February, with songs running the gamut from Kings of Leon to Noel Coward, although it’s uncertain whether any of those will make it into the Queen setlist. “We’ve got a ways to go before we start rehearsing,” Lambert said.

Lambert agreed, “I don’t think I would have imagined that it would have been the gift that keeps on giving.”

The current Rhapsody tour features Queen + Adam Lambert’s regular band members, longtime keyboard player and musical director Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren. Founding bassist John Deacon left the band and effectively retired from music following Freddie Mercury’s 1991 death, and chose not to be present at Queen’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

Despite a 30-year-plus age difference between Lambert, 41, and May, 75 and Taylor, 73, the three have an easy camaraderie that’s evident both onstage and off. Lambert was only three when Queen’s iconic 1985 Live Aid performance rocked the world, but it was something he got to recreate at the Fire Fight fundraiser concert in Sydney, Australia in February 2020, a month before Covid shut down the world.

As a fan growing up, Lambert was familiar with Queen’s Live Aid footage. “But when it came time to first join the band on stage, I was like, ‘I have to know my stuff’ so I watched as much as I could. Besides Live Aid, one of my favorite things was Montreal concert where Freddie was running around in a pair of itty bitty white shorts and no shoes,” Lambert says. “I just I remember seeing that and going ‘This guy’s amazing.’ He was so free and ridiculous and just full of joy and I’ve been so inspired by that spirit. I try to approach shows with that same humor…”

“And shorts?” Taylor quipped.

“Not the shorts for me — Freddie had much better legs,” Lambert concluded.

A general on sale date for the Queen + Adam Lambert  U.S. tour is March 31, and in light of exorbitant ticket prices and “dynamic pricing,” the band stated in a release that “In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for the Rhapsody tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.”

Press Release: Queen + Adam Lambert Announce 2024 Japanese Tour

We are so excited to be returning to Japan, the country that has always held a special and most honoured place in our hearts.”  Taylor continues: “This may be the last time…who knows?  We promise to bring a very real spectacular for you to enjoy!”  Roger Taylor, Brian May

Queen + Adam Lambert To Kick Off 2024 with Massive Japan Shows - Bringing  Enhanced Rhapsody Tour Production Dates Follow Upcoming October – November 2023 North America Tour

Already lined up for a spectacular North America 22-date concert run this fall, Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor and their exceptional frontman, Grammy-nominated Adam Lambert today announced further Rhapsody Tour shows for 2024 with the news today of five mega dome concerts in Japan lined up for early February next year.   Promising an even more ambitious and enhanced production of their universally acclaimed Rhapsody show,  the band will open a series of giant Japan show dates on February 4 in Nagoya before going on to perform its reimagined Rhapsody show in Osaka (Feb 7), Sapporo (Feb 10) and concluding with two shows at the Tokyo Dome, (February 13 and 14) performing in all to over 200,000 concert-goers. The Sapporo show is a particularly historic one, marking the band’s first return to the city in over 42 years, last played by Queen on its Hot Space tour, on October 29, 1982.

On making the announcement, Roger Taylor speaking alongside Brian May, said: “We are so excited to be returning to Japan, the country that has always held a special and most honoured place in our hearts.”  Taylor continues: “This may be the last time…who knows?  We promise to bring a very real spectacular for you to enjoy!”    Since their first arrival in Japan in April 1975 to scenes of fan mob mania, the bond between Queen and Japan has been richly woven into band history. Despite their absence on the touring circuit, Queen’s music continued to be treasured in Japan throughout the 90’s and into the 21st Century, thanks in part to their inclusion in TV commercials and television dramas. Featured in a beer commercial, the band’s “I Was Born To Love You” reached No.1 on the singles chart.  Invited to return in 2014 - now fronted by Adam Lambert - to headline at Japan’s largest rock festival, Summer Sonic, Queen’s status as Japan’s favourite foreign band was reconfirmed.   Japan is now once again a regular feature on the touring schedule, Queen and Adam Lambert having returned as recently as 2020 to perform four massive sold-out shows playing to a combined audience of over 132,000 people across the country, clearly evident that the bond between Queen and Japan continues to remain as strong as ever.  An enthusiastic Adam Lambert says: “The Japan shows back in 2020 were so much fun, the audience were incredible!  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to come back. Can’t wait!”

Queen + Adam Lambert’s career-spanning Rhapsody Tour setlist celebrates the band’s extraordinary back catalogue, lining up wall-to-wall immortal anthems like “We Will Rock You”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Radio Ga Ga”, and “Somebody To Love” alongside classic deep cuts and vintage fan favourites. Featuring a dazzling state-of-the-art stage design, incredible special effects and set pieces, this sense-swamping extravaganza has been blowing critics and fans away the world over.   As with last year's UK and European dates, the 2024 Japan tour will see Queen + Adam Lambert supported on stage by their regular band members, long-serving Queen keyboard player Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren.    Having extensively toured over the last few years, the Rhapsody show is forever evolving. But it remains at heart a tribute to Freddie Mercury’s majestic legacy, a confirmation of Brian and Roger’s undimmed musical prowess, plus a magnificent showcase for Adam’s vocal skills and electrifying stage charisma, all of which adds up to a glorious full-blooded celebration of one of the greatest songbooks in rock history   Full tour dates: February 4th (Sun) Nagoya – Vantelin Dome  February 7th (Wed) Osaka – Kyocera Dome  February 10th (Sat) Sapporo – Sapporo Dome  February 13th (Tue) Tokyo – Tokyo Dome  February 14th (Wed) Tokyo – Tokyo Dome

The film concludes with a rendition of the the band’s historic Live Aid medley , including “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Are the Champions,” recorded during their 2020 Fire Fight Australia benefit show at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

The film also includes a show-stopping performance of “Love Kills,” filmed during Queen’s set with Lambert at the iHeart Radio Festival in Los Angeles back in 2014. After having first shared the stage with Queen in LA during his run on American Idol , Lambert began performing with the group under the “Queen + Adam Lambert” moniker in 2011.

Review - Queen + Adam Lambert @ the Chase Center (11/8/23)

queen and adam lambert concert tour

As the clock approached 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night, anticipation built within the Chase Center in San Francisco. A mesmerizing display of mechanical gears unfolded on a vast screen that spanned the front of the colossal stage. Slowly, robots emerged, navigating the turning gears, and signaling the imminent commencement of the show. The atmospheric introduction gave way to the rhythmic resonance of drum cymbals and keyboard synths, heralding the beginning of Queen's "Machines (or Back to Humans)." Freddie Mercury's recorded vocals pierced the air with the opening lyric, 'When the Machines Take Over.' And the arena was instantly bathed in a kaleidoscope of lasers emanating from every angle, creating a dazzling spectacle. Simultaneously, the mammoth screen ascended toward the rafters, unveiling the legendary collaboration of Queen + Adam Lambert .

The transition from "Machines" seamlessly flowed into "Radio Ga Ga," where Adam's dynamic vocals enveloped the audience at the Chase Center in a spiritual experience. It was only the first song of the night and already it felt as though Freddie Mercury's presence was casting a benevolent gaze, manifesting through Adam and connecting with the crowd in a profound way.

Renowned for his theatrical flair, Adam Lambert appeared onstage adorned in a musical superhero ensemble. His silver and purple attire featured a flowing cape, chest plate, arm-length gloves, and oversized sunglasses reminiscent of Bono's iconic Fly glasses. Positioned just behind Adam's central stage location, Roger Taylor held his place behind the drum kit, while the legendary guitarist, Brian May, occupied a spot not far from the center-right of the stage. Throughout the night, both Adam and Brian gracefully took turns navigating the 50-foot long catwalk, which extended from the stage towards the center floor of the arena.

From my perspective, I can't stress enough how well Adam Lambert fits into the monumental role left behind by Freddie Mercury's passing. There's simply no other living singer who can capture the flamboyance and master the vocal range that Freddie so brilliantly possessed. Despite Adam's decade-long tenure touring with Queen, this marked my inaugural experience witnessing their performance, and it left me utterly captivated. The evening unfolded as a tour de force, guiding the audience through a spectacular array of Queen's greatest hits. It effortlessly highlighted not only the dynamic range of Adam's vocals but also underscored the remarkable diversity found within the extensive catalog of Queen's hits.

Honestly, it's a challenge for me to pinpoint my favorite moments from the night because there were just so many remarkable ones! In a particularly memorable instance during "A Kind of Magic," Brian May graced the end of the catwalk, treating the audience to a guitar solo while launching fireworks from the neck of his guitar. Another poignant moment unfolded when Brian paused to address the crowd before "Love of My Life," a song dedicated to Freddie. He candidly shared his feelings of insecurity, expressing, 'you know I love to hear you sing, and I love to see your lights.' As he sat at the edge of the catwalk, playing the opening notes on his acoustic, the Chase Center illuminated with the glow of the crowd's collective phone lights.

If I had to choose just one song from the night, it would undoubtedly be the rendition of "Who Wants to Live Forever." The performance started with Freddie's recorded harmonized vocals, seamlessly transitioning into a hauntingly melodic crescendo of Adam's beautifully elongated verses. His notes resonated, gracefully soaring throughout the entire arena, leaving an indelible impression that still gives me goosebumps when recalling the performance. Brian's guitar introduced an additional layer, employing a slow, layered effect that perfectly complemented Adam's emotive delivery.

Undoubtedly, the biggest hits of the night were the true crowd-pleasers – a well-deserved accolade. The main set concluded with the powerful performances of "The Show Must Go On" and the timeless "Bohemian Rhapsody." Following a brief intermission, the band returned to deliver a spectacular encore featuring the anthems "We Will Rock You," a reprisal of "Radio Ga Ga," and the triumphant finale, "We Are the Champions." As we, the audience, exited the venue that night, there was an unmistakable sense that we had all just experienced a musical victory akin to winning the Super Bowl. Champions indeed, and what an extraordinary night it was!

I'd like to say it was simply amazing! But there was nothing 'simple' about this show. Queen still inspires and rocks young and old! My husband and I have been fans since we first heard them on the radio in the early 70s. Brian May doesn't miss a lick in this show. He is still the best guitarist alive. He holds the audience like no other. I've been to enough concerts and seen that moment when it's time for 'the guitar solo' and people get up and go for another beer or the t-shirt vendor. Not so with Brian! People were in awe...as well you will be, too, if you see this show! Roger Taylor also delivers as solid a performance as I have seen from him, as well. This time around he has a dueling drums gig with his son Rufus who matches him strike for strike. It is a great moment and almost a kind of passing of the guard, dare I say. Roger later performs his song "These are the Days of Our Lives" while scenes of Queen's past are show on the big screen. It's an extraordinary piece. Adam Lambert sings the devil out of Queen's music. There isn't a person alive that I am aware of who could do what that boy does vocally! It was superb! His facial antics were so animated and cute and completely worthwhile. Sadly, when you are in the nosebleed seats, you feel like you have to watch the big screen the whole show to catch all of that. Adam felt a little like he had to stand at the microphone and I was hoping he had a little more stage presence. But that may come with more practice. He is by far the best choice for Queen's frontman since Freddie.

This is a MUST SEE show. Get a cheap seat. Get the last seat. Pay too much! Whatever... just get there if you can.

(On a side note, why are they not performing in more cities or adding shows?!)

Queen and Adam Lambert promised to rock us.....and so they did. With extremely big shoes to fill, Adam held his own. He paid homage to the legendary Freddie Mercury, and did it so well, I know he's up there smiling. Brian and Roger, while visibly a little older still have it. They rocked as hard as they did on the stages 30 years ago. They performed their hits including "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Killer Queen," "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions." Last night's concert happened to be Roger's birthday so Adam the whole 13,000 seat venue sing him Happy Birthday. They also threw in Dragon Attack which wasn't on the regular set list. At the end of the day, these guys brought the house down. From hearing them play from my dad's records when I was a little girl to the cd's in my car, it was a dream come true to witness the legends in what might be their last tour. They truly are the champions of the world. ;)

As a life long Queen fan and idoliser of the great Freddie Mercury I can honestly say the naughty queenies are well and truly back.

Adam Lambert makes no attempt to fill the shoes of Freddie relying on his own amazing voice and flamboyance to breath new life into the greatest band of all time. This new trio backed by the pyrotechnics available in the modern world put on a show that is breathtaking and encompassing their entire back catologue.

Whether you are a 70's or 80's fan of the band you will not be disappointed.

the only disappointment for me is that I don't have tickets for anymore of the shows and would only plea that they don't leave it too long before touring the UK again.

Their majesties still reign supreme.

It's been a unique, mindblowing, memorable show. Brian May continues to be an intact legend, just as good as back in the day.

A show of lights accompanies the whole night and specially the guitar solo part, which is unique.

Adam Lambert has an incredible voice and makes it all seem easy. Makes singing Freddie written notes seem easy. Of course, he is not Freddie and I'm glad he doesn't try to look like him. He's just got his own style which is good, as noone would want to see him pretending to be Freddie. Anyway, his voice is amazing and at the height of the show.

Thank you, Queen, for one of the best shows (if not the best) I've ever experienced.

I wasn't sure what to expect with Adam Lambert. It was very good, maybe better than I thought that it would be, Adam Lambert is NOT Freddie Mercury, but no one will ever be the equal to the best front man in rock and roll history. However, Adam Lambert (who came out looking a lot more like George Michael than Freddie) did a great job. He didn't have the thickness in voice that Freddie has, but he is as close as a person will probably get. For my friends who were wondering if anyone would go to the concert, it was absolutely packed an hour before the start of the concert! PACKED! Very enjoyable night, especially with a good friend!

Queen & Adam Lambert killed it last night in Brooklyn! The crowd was a great mix of all ages and races, it was a beautiful thing! The show started at 8:30 & they played for a good two hours! Adam's vocals were amazing as always, he definitely does a great homage to Freddy! Seeing Freddy on the giant screens was also a treat! Brian and Roger clearly don't let age get in the way! At last 2 great guitar solos and a killer drum solo, these boys still got it! The stage also had an impressive light show and stage effects! If you can catch this show in a town or city near you, you def should!!

Saw Queen and Adam Lambert 18/06/22 at the 02 in London. Now I have seen some gigs in my time but was blown away with this concert it was awesome. Adam was amazing and Brian and Roger were fantastic. Was moved by some of the songs played and great to see Freddie included in the show. Everything about it was superb and can't wait for the next tour as I will be ahead of the queue for tickets as those we have told. Martin Russell, Hessle, East Yorkshire UK.

Brian and Roger still play convinced.

Adam is not my type of singer but at least he can sing every note! They should leave out their acting play though, it was a kind of not fitting into their show. But the music was good and a few numbers in the setlist like 'Stone Cold Crazy' were surprisingly good!

The concert was amazing. Jyske Bank Boxen did a great job and the employes were helpful.

Adam, Roger and Brian blev the roof of Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning and sound, light and stage were perfect!

These guys are legends and being at one of their concerts is a dream come true!

Adam Lambert Says Freddie Mercury Is in His Heart 'Every Time I Take the Stage' as He and Queen Close Out 2023 Tour

Lambert, alongside original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, played the final two shows of their North American tour over the weekend at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles

Adam Lambert  made sure to keep the legacy of late Queen  frontman, Freddie Mercury , alive as he and original band members Brian May  and  Roger Taylor  closed out their North American tour.

Over the weekend, Lambert, May and Taylor played the final two shows of their 2023 Rhapsody Tour at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The shows marked the end of Queen's 22-show North American Tour — their first tour in four years — which kicked off in October in Baltimore.

While addressing the crowd during Saturday's show, Lambert, 41, spoke about how fortunate he was to tour with the rock legends over the past 10 years. He also made sure to pay tribute to Mercury, who died at age 45 in 1991.

"L.A., what's up?" Lambert greeted the crowd. "It's so good to be home here after an amazing tour with two rock and roll legends. You know that I've been on the road for 10 years with Queen? Isn’t that nuts?"

"Just know that every time I get up here, I know that I’m f---ing lucky," Lambert continued. "I know how much of an honor this is. And be assured that every time I take the stage, I have one person in my heart: Freddie Mercury!"

As the crowd went wild, Lambert continued on. "You love Freddie too, right? That’s what this is, this is a celebration of Freddie and Queen," he said before breaking into Queen's hit, "Don't Stop Me Now."

Later during the show — which featured 150 minutes of hits that spanned Queen's decades-long career, including classics like "We Will Rock You," "Radio Ga Ga" and "Somebody to Love" — May, 76, honored his late bandmate in his own moment onstage.

Singing their acoustic song "Love of My Life," May sat on a stool and performed for the crowd before a clip of Mercury singing the same song appeared on the screen above the stage. At the end of the performance, May reached out to his left — the same direction where the clip of Mercury was positioned on the screen — making it appear as if the two were on stage together.

Though Lambert is assuming the lead singer role that Mercury once had, the American Idol alum and his bandmates have previously made it clear that he's not trying to be the late iconic singer.

"He doesn't try to be Freddie, which is wonderful," May told PEOPLE in March . "He always pays tribute to Freddie, which we love. We all do. Freddie's with us, but Adam interprets, he finds new ways to go and we are very much a team now. We discuss everything, we build, we rebuild and it's fun."

Lambert agreed, calling his partnership with May and Taylor, 74, a "team effort," and acknowledging that Mercury "laid the groundwork" for all that they've accomplished together.

"He's the originator. He can't be replaced, but it gives me so much freedom to just exist in a playful, kind of silly place," he said. "Freddie had a great sense of humor, from what I hear and what I've seen, and he was sort of limitless."

While it's been 10 years since they first started touring together, May said he still finds it unbelievable that he gets to tour with Taylor and perform their Queen hits with the help of Lambert.

"The amazing thing is we didn't look for Adam. I often think, 'My God, how did this happen?' He is kind of a gift from God," he told PEOPLE in March. "Roger and I, after we lost Freddie, said 'OK, this is the end of it.' We knew consciously, 'No, we're not going to this anymore.'"

"He just appeared," May continued of Lambert. "The voice is extraordinary. There is no other voice in the universe like his voice. Plus he has all the other stuff, I mean, look at the guy. He's born to wear diamonds."

With the North American portion of their tour now complete, Queen and Lambert have a few months off before heading to Japan in 2024 for a five-show run, kicking off Feb. 4.

"It's just a privilege to be able to do this at the top level that we are," May told PEOPLE in March. "How wonderful. How could you possibly ask for more? I think we're very happy doing it. I'm probably going to do it 'til I drop."

Her love don't cost a thing, but you can still buy tickets to see her love story unfold this summer when Jennifer Lopez returns to the stage for her first tour in five years.

The global superstar announced Thursday her upcoming This Is Me... Now tour dates, which will see the 54-year-old visit over 30 cities in North America to perform her back catalog of hits as well as fresh material from her new album This Is Me.... Now and its accompanying narrative film of the same name.

The tour marks the latest milestone in Lopez's This Is Me... Now era, which comprises the album, film, and concert series billed as a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me... Then — all of which chronicle her love life, particularly her relationship with actor Ben Affleck , both in its original form and its rekindled status in recent years.

In addition to the tour, Lopez recently performed two songs from her new album on Saturday Night Live , where she appeared as a musical guest opposite host Ayo Edebiri.

Leading up to the broadcast, Edebiri's comments from a 2020 episode of the  Scam Goddess   podcast resurfaced, which saw the Emmy-winning Bear actress criticizing Lopez's career as "one long scam."

Lopez, however, told EW that the two patched things up before the show. "She actually came to my dressing room, and she was very sweet," she said. "She was like, 'Listen, I was young. I was on this thing. I said these things, and I am so sorry.' She had seen my soundcheck, and she's like, 'You are amazing. I'm watching you out there singing and doing your thing. And I'm sorry.' She was very gracious."

Presale tickets will be available via the On the J.Lo site beginning Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. local time, with general sales kicking off Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. local time on Live Nation 's platforms.

Inside Adam Lambert's First Meeting With Kate Middleton

I t's not very often that you hear the names Adam Lambert and Kate Middleton in the same sentence. But the former "American Idol" contestant had a meeting with the Princess of Wales that he'll never forget. The chart-topper had the opportunity to attend and perform at the royal's Christmas Concert back in 2023, and it was an experience that might have topped any other live performance he's ever done. Westminster Abbey might not look anything like the inside of Madison Square Garden, but it's got its special atmosphere, too.

Lambert was a standout star during the eighth season of "American Idol" back in 2009, but the Princess of Wales is no stranger to the music stage, either. The future queen of England started learning the piano when she was just a child and has shown off her musical chops during several different performances over the years, including when she played the piano during the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. But Lambert says meeting the royal in person was just as special as getting to hear her play live during the Christmas concert she hosted in London back in December 2023.

Adam Lambert Met Kate Middleton During A Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunity

In an interview with People magazine, Adam Lambert made it no secret that meeting Kate Middleton was one of the top and unforgettable moments of his life. Even though Lambert performed at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee back in June 2022 , this was the first time that he got to see the royal up close and in person. Recalling his meeting with Prince William's wife, Lambert told the publication, "I had the honor of meeting Catherine, Princess of Wales. She invited the performers she wanted to see at the service, and it was lovely to visit with her before we performed," while also adding, "It's a really flattering invite to receive from Princess Kate, to come and sing at this special event."

During the concert, Lambert performed "This Christmas Song" alongside Beverley Knight. And while performing in front of the royals would have been a nerve-wracking experience for anyone, three special people sat in the front row and were intently watching each and every one of Lambert's moves on stage: William and Kate's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Talk about added pressure.

Adam Lambert Has A Royal Connection, Too

In his same interview with People magazine, Adam Lambert said that getting to perform at Westminster Abbey, which was the same place Prince William and Kate Middleton wed back in 2011, left him awe-struck in more ways than one. He explained, "I've always loved history and old architecture, and this is sort of my sweet spot. I was able to walk around a little bit after my rehearsal and just kind of take a little self-guided tour of some of the areas inside at the Abbey and it's just breathtaking, and the amount of history in here is nuts."

Now, whether or not Kate Middleton would be interested in attending any of Adam Lambert's future concerts herself remains to be seen. Then again, Lambert has a royal connection, too. He's collaborated and toured with the legendary rock band, Queen. Something tells us that a collab between the Princess of Wales and Lambert would get everyone rocking, including the future king of England himself, Prince William.

Interior of the LA mansion.

A Los Angeles home owned by rock royal Roger Taylor, the British-born drummer and back-up vocalist for Queen, has listed for $6.19 million.

Taylor co-founded Queen with Freddie Mercury and Brian May in 1970. Some of the songs Taylor co-wrote for the still-iconic group include “Under Pressure,” “Innuendo” and “These are the Days of Our Lives,” which became an impromptu tribute to Mercury after his death in 1991 at age 45.

For the past decade, Taylor and Adam Lambert have also been collaborating as musicians — and, since last year, as business partners in a separate venture. They were most recently bandmates in a Queen “Rhapsody” Tour that had more than 20 shows in North America last year alone. By last November, the pair also launched Wild New Bar in West Hollywood — a new LGBTQ+ nightlife destination.

Taylor’s lovely home, at 1521 North Kings Road, is a classic Spanish villa — built in 1933, and fully modernized and renovated. It stands on a third of an acre. He bought the property for $352,000 in 1981, according to records.

At 4,368 square feet, it comes with four bedrooms and five baths — and is a mix of indoor/outdoor living with privacy, thanks to a gated driveway.

The residence opens to high ceilings and decorative tiled steps. A gracious formal living room comes with vaulted ceilings, a large window, hardwood floors and a black marble fireplace. There’s even a “lodge-like” den with a stone fireplace, a wine closet and its own beamed ceiling.

Meanwhile, the main public rooms all open to a brick patio with a fire pit, an outdoor dining area and city views.

Back inside, the main bedroom and ensuite spa-like bath is located upstairs, and features a balcony overlooking the patio and lush landscaping.

The grounds, which feature citrus trees and vines, also deliver a pathway to a hillside spa. There’s also a lagoon-style pool.

Listing brokers Greg Holcomb and Tim Durkovic, of Douglas Elliman, declined to comment.
