The first session will begin with the physiotherapist assessing the nature and extent of a patient’s problems, this may involve examination and observation. The patient may be asked to walk around and perform some exercises so that the physiotherapist can identify the issues and work out a suitable treatment plan.

During the first session the physiotherapist will also ask questions relating to the patient’s general health in order to identify any pre-existing conditions. The physiotherapist will also want to know details of any allergies or phobias which may alter the treatment methods they offer.

Infra-Red Radiation

External application of heat for pain relief of superficial muscles.

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation

Use of low frequency electrical current for pain relief continuous passive motion.

Continues Passive Motion

It is used to gently flex and extend the knee joint after surgery to facilitate knee motion (bending and straightening).

Rehabilitation Exercise Programme

Fitness equipment and exercises are used to treat balance, coordination and walking abnormalities.

Chest Physiotherapy With Suctioning Machine

After using percussion and vibration techniques, a suction tube is used to take out the phlegm from patient’s lungs.

Kinesio Taping

KT tape lifts the skin and decompressors the layers underneath it so as to allow fluid and joint movements.

Chest Physiotherapy & Postural Drainage

Breathing is improved by the indirect removal of mucus from the breathing passages of a patient. Techniques include clapping or percussion & vibration on the chest wall & positioning of the patient.
