Jordan Davis Plots North American Headlining Tour

Hot off the release of his latest album, Bluebird Days , Jordan Davis has announced a headlining tour. The run, titled the DAMN GOOD TIME Tour, will kick off this summer.

Davis’ shows will begin in August at the Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia. Soon after, Davis will head back to his Nashville stomping grounds for a show at Ascend Amphitheater. Other stops along the way include Philadelphia, New York, and Las Vegas. Find the full list of dates below.

Jordan is set to bring along a slew of his fellow country singers for the trek. Tour support includes Avery Anna, Gabby Barrett, Danielle Bradbery, Flatland Calvary, Greylan James, Dylan Marlowe, Kameron Marlowe, Mike Ryan, Connor Smith, and Georgia Webster.

Members of Davis’ official fan club, The Parish, will be given first access to the tour. To become one of Davis’ official followers, sign up on The Parish’s website .

The Parish Gold presale will start on Tuesday, April 11 at 10 am local time. Digital membership presale will follow on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 am local time. Public on sale will begin on April 14 at 10 am local time.

Davis recently was featured on the digital cover of American Songwriter. For the feature, he sat down with us to discuss channeling growth and honesty into Bluebird Days .

“You miss a lot of small blessings by overlooking them and moving on to the next thing,” Davis told American Songwriter about the themes behind the record. “I think that I get very ‘onto the next thing’ and there are some things that I should probably celebrate a little bit more. So I hope that I get better at that.”

Jordan Davis Plots 2023 Damn Good Time Tour

Jordan Davis  is hitting the road for an extensive headlining tour in support of his new album,  Bluebird Days . The Louisiana native will stop in 19 cities across the U.S. this summer and fall, beginning with a performance in Atlanta on Aug. 31.

"It has been an amazing feeling to watch the way this new music has reached fans, and we've been seeing that out on the road in the live shows," Davis says. "Our fans knew every lyric to 'Next Thing You Know' even before it was a single, and to watch the sold-out venues get bigger and bigger…. I'm just so grateful everyone has been so supportive."

Rising country acts  Gabby Barrett ,  Avery Anna ,  Greylan James ,  Danielle Bradbery ,  Dylan Marlowe ,  Kameron Marlowe ,  Jameson Rodgers ,  Mike Ryan ,  Conner Smith  and  Georgia Webster  will serve as support on select dates of the trek.

Jordan Davis Maps Out a ‘Damn Good Time’ With New 2023 Tour Dates

Jordan Davis has announced plans for a string of tour dates in the fall of 2023. Billed as the Damn Good Time Tour, the trek takes its name from one of the tracks off his latest album, Bluebird Days .

The tour kicks off Aug. 31 in Atlanta and it'll extend through mid-October. Along the way, Davis will hit some landmark cities, such as a hometown stop in Nashville and shows in New York, Boston and Las Vegas.

Gabby Barrett is joining the lineup of the tour, and she's one of a number of hot new acts joining the bill. An array of talent will split the dates on the Damn Good Time Tour: CMT Music Award-nominated up-and-comer Avery Anna is joining the trek, as are Greylan James, Danielle Bradbery , Dylan Marlowe , Kameron Marlowe , Jameson Rodgers , Mike Ryan , Conner Smith and Georgia Webster.

Additional support is expected to be announced leading up to the tour.

Tickets to the Damn Good Time Tour go on sale on Friday (April 14), but members of Davis' The Parish fan club will have early access to the dates via a pre-sale that launches Tuesday (April 11.) The shows will be part of a busy year for Davis, who recently announced that he and his wife Kristen are expecting their third child in June.

Jordan Davis launched his Damn Good Time Tour , which visits US arenas through to later October, with a sellout show at The Roxy in Atlanta last Thursday (31), followed by a date at Nashville’s riverfront venue Ascend Amphitheater on September 1.

The Labor Day weekend openers were greeted with rave reviews, with The Tennessean noting of the Nashville date: “The hour-and-a-half set was the perfect mix of Davis’ ballads, sing-a-long hits and even some choice cover tunes played for a crowd that stayed on its feet the entire show and for certain had a damn good time.”

Writer Melonee Hurt added: “Davis proved that he earned his spot as a headlining act in Country music and solidified his status as a country superstar with his electrifying performance that flawlessly showcased his versatility.” Davis ended the night by telling the crowd: “I’ll never forget tonight. Thank you for this right here.”

At the Nashville date, Davis was presented by UMG Nashville chair & CEO Cindy Mabe with a commemorative plaque denoting his five billion-plus career streams. Davis followed his gold-certified debut album Home State in February with the sophomore set Bluebird Days , which is now also gold and features his most recent single “Next Thing You Know,” which reached No.2 on Billboard ’s Country Airplay. He recently launched the follow-up, “Tucson Too Late,” which he described to Billboard as “the type of song that I grew up on.”

The Damn Good Time Tour continues this Friday (8) in Columbus, Ohio and then takes in sellout dates in Kansas City, MO (September 16), Philadelphia (October 5), New York (6), Boston (7), and Las Vegas (21). Special guests on the itinerary, opening at various shows, include Avery Anna, Gabby Barrett, Danielle Bradberry, Flatland Calvary, Greylan James, Dylan Marlowe, Kameron Marlowe, Mike Ryan, Connor Smith, and Georgia Webster. Jordan Davis is ready for a "Damn Good Time" on his headlining tour

As  Jordan Davis  readies to kick off his Damn Good Time Tour, he's hitting pause to reflect on his journey toward being a headliner and the surreality of it. ”This fall [headlining] tour is something that we’ve been, I mean, we’ve been planning it for a long time," says Jordan. Four-time 2024 ACM Awards nominee Jordan Davis tops the Country radio airplay charts (Country Aircheck/MediaBase and Billboard Country) with his co-penned single, “Tucson Too Late.”

On May 21, 2024, X user @justice_Tyr22 posted a meme displaying photos of Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker with the words, "Kansas City Cancels Three Pearl Jam Shows at Arrowhead Stadium: 'We Stand with Harrison Butker.'" The Chiefs play home games at Arrowhead Stadium, located in Kansas City, Missouri.

The text in the user's post read as follows:

After Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder went on an anti-Harrison Butker rant, the front office at Arrowhead Stadium canceled three of the band's upcoming shows. "We stand with Harrison and his admirable moral values. Vedder and his band can find somewhere else to play." The move will cost the band around $14 million. Ouch!!!

Several other users on both Facebook and X shared the same meme and text. One user posted the meme with the caption, "GO WOKE GO BROKE."

However, this item was not a factual recounting of real-life events. The Facebook page America's Last Line of Defense first posted the same meme and text on May 20. The page's management describes its content as containing satire and parody. In other words, Arrowhead Stadium did not cancel any Pearl Jam concerts, nor were any Kansas City dates listed on the band's  tour schedule .

Butker's May 11 commencement speech at Kansas' private Catholic liberal arts school Benedictine College partially inspired the creation of the America's Last Line of Defense meme. The author of the meme also sourced inspiration from the fact Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder commented about Butker's speech during a May 18 concert in Las Vegas,  rebuking  the thoughts about women and motherhood Butker expressed to the female graduates at the commencement.

The National Catholic Register website features a complete  transcript  of Butker's speech, while the official YouTube channel for Benedictine College hosts a  video . The video ends with many of the people in attendance giving Butker a standing ovation.
