After a day at sea, our first stop will be the port of Amber Cove, Dominican Republic – This is one of the most beautiful ports you will cruise too and is one of the film locations from the original Jurassic Park movie.

The following day, we’ll stop in Grand Turk where the beach is the main attraction and for the day! You can spend the day lounging on the beach, but you can also do a little shopping around the port.

Monday we will head to Port Canaveral, get on board and settle in for a week of Gospel music on the seas! Don’t forget to grab a quick lunch on the Lido Deck, enjoy some sun on a lounge chair and be on deck for the sail away.

As we sail toward the Eastern Caribbean there is a lot to enjoy on our first day at sea! Concerts, Bible Studies, Christian Comedy, fine dining, the spa, whirlpool, or just soaking up the sun on deck! No matter how you choose to spend your time, we know you’ll enjoy the fellowship and atmosphere of a full charter Christian cruise.

AMBER COVE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Wednesday, january 29, 2025.

As we come into port at 10:30 AM you may wonder, “Where have I seen this before?” That’s because Amber Cove was one of the film locations for the original Jurassic Park movie! In port, you can walk through a Jurassic Park exhibit, enjoy an afternoon at a massive pool created for cruise passengers, take a taxi into town to shop or visit the Spanish fort at San Felipe.

GRAND TURK, TURKS AND CAICOS

Thursday, january 30, 2025.

Our second stop is Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos. If you’re a history buff, you will remember that Grand Turk was the area that John Glenn and the Friendship 7 splashed down in 1962. There is some shopping around the port but if you’re looking for a beach day, Grand Turk is your spot! Right next to the dock is a beautiful beach of white sand and blue water.

Our last day together at sea will be filled with lots of singing, preaching and time to relax and visit. On both sea days, we will be at our product tables and would love to spend some time with you if you want to drop by!

While you are in the concerts, your kids can enjoy mini-golf, multiple pools, a Water-Works park, along with supervised Camp Ocean activities.

Wednesday we arrive at the Caribbean’s newest port of call, Amber Cove. There you can enjoy shopping, sampling local foods, floating in a lazy-river, or just taking it easy in a lounge chair or hammock by the 330,000-gallon pool.

On Thursday we call on the island of Grand Turk, where you can enjoy a day at the beach and a tropical lunch, or take advantage of the many activities and shore excursions to include: horseback-riding, deep sea fishing, parasailing, scuba diving, and a stingray adventure. Friday is another full day of Southern Gospel concerts in 5 different venues, as well as Southern Gospel Karaoke, Piano-sing-a-longs, a Hymn Sing, Parade of Pianos, and more. Saturday morning we return to Port Canaveral, FL refreshed and renewed having been edified by the inspired preaching and great Southern Gospel music during the cruise.

The Marriage Cruise for Christian Couples

A week in the caribbean to explore god’s creation and renew the spark in your marriage while having fun together., departs february 1, 2025 for 8 nights, 9 days / 8 nights aboard the celebrity reflection, fort lauderdale | grand cayman | aruba | curacao, your seaworthy venue.

Most of our sessions will be held in the Conference Center aboard the Reflection . You’ll also have plenty of spaces to reconnect with your spouse as you enjoy the lovely, blue Caribbean Sea.

Our approach, in a nutshell, is to fit our sessions around port calls and use sea days effectively. That way, you can enjoy the ship and each other even more on those longer sea days, and then on port days, we don't cramp your adventures at all! This schedule is subject to change based on meeting room availability, but we'll finalize the schedule with you aboard the ship at the Welcome Reception.

Day 1 Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025

Departure: 3:30 pm 

Port: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

If you’ve got time before settling aboard the ship, stroll Ft. Lauderdale’s famous beachfront promenade, which is just 15 minutes from the port. Grab a bite at a local eatery and experience Floribbean cuisine, a fusion of old Florida favorites and Caribbean influences, with plenty of fresh seafood. History buffs will want to tour the village of historic buildings at History Ft. Lauderdale. And if you’ve got more time, head to the nearby Everglades, or do a little bit of shopping at the Sawgrass Mills designer outlets or Galleria Fort Lauderdale.

Welcome Reception

5:00 pm sunday (60 minutes) the conference center.

Description: Join us for the first group get-together once we’ve set sail. It’s a chance to introduce yourselves (don't worry, no awkward group games!) and get to know your hosts, Caleb & Verlynda, while picking up your registration packet and retreat workbooks.

Day 2 Sunday

Session 1: shortwave radio lessons, 9:00 am (60 minutes) the conference center.

Truly hear and be heard without misunderstandings or unnecessary conflict

Description: Beginning with what may be the funniest marriage communication video of all time, you will learn how to use active listening to signal to your spouse that you are fully tracking his or her comments. You’ll have repeated opportunities to practice this 1:1 with your spouse. We’ll be coaching you as we observe each couple implementing what you learn. 

Soak up the sun, salt breezes, and stunning scenery in expansive open-air spaces. Savor fine dining that rivals anything you’d find on land. And discover even more ways to relax and renew.

Session 2: your own love boat, 4:00 pm (90 minutes) the conference center.

Reignite or refuel the warmth in your marriage

Description: You will take a step back from day-to-day issues and explore and engage with each other over those precious aspects of one another’s character and worth that drew you together and continues to keep you together. Beautiful moments of sharing and appreciation will delight your hearts.

Day 3 Monday

Port: george town, grand cayman, tendered: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, george town cruise port is located on the island of grand cayman, which is the largest of the cayman islands. grand cayman has the glitz and glam you might expect from a city known for its finance district, but also has the sandy beaches, translucent blue water, and laid-back island lifestyle you’d expect from a caribbean getaway. these two sides of the island: the finance and the beach – give george town a beautifully vibrant atmosphere unlike any other caribbean cruise island, and we can show you both sides during a grand cayman cruise., session 3: sex ed for experienced couples.

Learn to talk in a safe, caring, and effective way about the most intimate part of your marriage

Description: Did you know that even in successful marriages, less than 50 percent of the couple’s sexual experiences are deeply satisfying? Learn about sexual norms, the wonder of how your bodies are really working as you make love, and how to talk about what you are experiencing and enjoying as you make love. You’ll have some homework that we will not be discussing as a group the next morning!

Day 4 Tuesday

Session 4: your safe harbor, 9:00 am (90 minutes) the conference center.

Set yourselves up for deeper connection and support around life’s challenges

Description: Life can be challenging, and marriage can be one of life’s strongholds against stress: a safe, secure harbour. But too often, couples do not know how to effectively preserve this safe harbour for each other. Building on what you have already learned, you’ll take home tools to make this part of your marriage experience richer and less stressful.

Session 5: Who's The Captain, Anyways?

4:30 pm (60 minutes) the conference center.

Learn about power, influence, and cooperation in your marriage

Description: Learn more about how to extend acceptance to one another, how to give and receive influence, and how to share power in your marriage. Disagreement and different goals do not always need to lead to conflict! You’ll discover how to work together more effectively through day-to-day challenges as well as larger issues.

Day 5 Wednesday

Session 6: navigating out of the storm, 5:00 pm (60 minutes) the conference center.

Transform the way you interact around your most common areas of conflict

Description: In this session, we’ll do an exercise that produces one of the greatest “Aha!” moments for couples. You will finally understand why you get stuck on certain issues and what is really going on deep inside yourself and your spouse. Equipped with this knowledge, we will show you how to transform those interactions into marriage-building moments rather than marriage-destroying events.

Port: Oranjestad, Aruba

Docked: 10:30 am to 9:00 pm, known for its distinct architectural details, aruba is also a fabulous outdoor destination with windsurfing, kiteboarding, soft white sand beaches, snorkelling and diving all available to the adventurer. for calmer touring, browse the local boutiques and visit leading designers at the renaissance mall or venture to the marketplace for local crafts, all close to the port. this charming dutch community has something for everyone., day 6 thursday, port: willemstad, curacao, docked: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, this colonial dutch community has its own unique caribbean flavor. one of the highlights is the unesco world heritage site, the 17th-century fort amsterdam, which now houses the country’s government. on curacao, you can swim with dolphins, walk through the fantastic underground features of hato caves, or ride the trolley to learn about local landmarks and history. the cuisine on this island is a fusion of indonesian and dutch traditions that you won’t want to miss.

No time for retreat sessions today. Enjoy the port!

Day 7 Friday

Session 7: sailing off into the sunset.

Discover and build a plan for how to lead your lives and marriage toward creating a legacy

Description: This is a beautiful, reflective exercise where you will map out your life as it was before this cruise. Then, you will have an opportunity to map out how you would like it to look after the cruise! Working together, you will come up with a plan for changing the most important areas.

As we head towards Fort Lauderdale, take some time to recharge before returning to life on land! Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies, or explore the venues onboard. 

Day 8 Saturday

Session 8: wrap-up — land ahoy.

Plan how your marriage will transform by making changes that will last for years to come

Description: This closing session will take you through specific tasks to identify and plan how to implement your learning once you are home. We are very purposeful about ensuring this cruise will transform your life rather than just being a flash in the pan. You will identify changes you’re ready to make, share those with each other, and then commit to implementing these once home. Don’t worry, we’ll help you keep it realistic and achievable!

(JANUARY 30) With dozens of movies under his (utility) belt, the British actor has entertained millions in films including The Dark Knight trilogy, American Psycho and The Fighter , for which he won an Academy Award. 

EARLY START: At 13, Bale starred in Empire of the Sun , a 1987 war film directed by Steven Spielberg.

MAJOR TRANSFORMATIONS: Bale lost more than 60 pounds for The Machinist (2004) but put on about 40 for American Hustle and Vice.

OFF-SCREEN ADVENTURES: Bale, who played a race-car driver in Ford v Ferrari, used to love racing motorcycles, but injuries (he says he has “20, 25 screws” in his arm) have kept him away from the sport.

HELPING OTHERS: An advocate for youth in foster care, Bale supports SOS Children’s Villages California.
