Jay Monahan makes bold claim about PGA Tour's schedule, says the circuit saw an increase in strength of field despite LIV

T he PGA Tour recently announced its 2025 schedule. The new schedule received some flak at unveiling due to its similarities with the 2024 schedule. The lack of change despite some big-time changes over the last two years disappointed several fans.

However, Jay Monahan has come out to discard this criticism. The PGA Tour Commissioner, who is leading the ongoing PGA-PIF negotiations, dubbed the 2024 schedule a success. The official noted that the circuit performed well in its first year with Signature Events and full-field events. He said the new schedule was aimed up building on the success this competitive structure brought.

Interestingly, Monahan claimed that the circuit "saw a 30 per cent increase in strength of field" this year despite LIV Golf's growth. He said the tour is ‘encouraged' by the 2024 season's path.

Replying to a query about the 2025 PGA Tour schedule 's striking similarity to the 2024 schedule, Jay Monahan said at East Lake ahead of the Tour Championship , as quoted by ASAP Sports:

"When you look at how the PGA Tour performed in '24, our first full year with Signature Events and the full-field events, the Signature Events delivered elite winners and elite competitions, as did the full-field events… We saw a 30 per cent increase in strength of field at our full-field events, and we saw players in many cases playing more events because of the competitive structure that we have in place.
2025 will be year two of this model. We're encouraged by what we've seen in 2024. I think the only fair way to answer that question is it's our duty to the players and it's our duty to our fans to continue to assess how we're performing. But we are proud to present that schedule for 2025, grateful to have the support of those partners, and I think the cadence works very well."

Furthermore, Monahan also made an appeal to the fans. The PGA Tour chief said he would "expect to see what you have in '25 largely on a go-forward basis." He claimed that the tour body will remain "open to improving if there are opportunities to improve."

The new 2025 PGA Tour schedule was recently released recently and it is similar to the 2024 schedule. Buy now, pay later: One great way to spread out the cost of your new golf equipment is to take advantage of the PGA Tour Superstore’s Buy Now Pay Later scheme . The Superstore allows you to split each payment into four interest-free payments using the payment platform ZIP.

Free shipping: One other thing to keep in mind when buying from the PGA Tour Superstore is that the brand offers free shipping on all orders over $99. While that does exclude orders on custom clubs, this is a fantastic way to save yourself quite a bit of money on delivery costs, which you can use to spend on more golf gear!

How to use PGA Tour Superstore promo codes

1. Log onto the PGA Tour Superstore website and browse the products you want to purchase.

4. Head back to the PGA Tour Superstore website and add the product you want to buy to your basket. After you’ve done this and are ready to pay, press ‘Checkout’ and enter your discount code into the box that says ‘Do you have a voucher code?’

How we source coupon codes

Golf Monthly has a dedicated Coupons team who source all of the codes you see listed on our pages. We use our affiliate networks, connections with retailers, and the internet to track down the newest & best coupons. Each coupon page is updated multiple times a week to keep it fresh, and our Commercial team uses relationships with leading brands to negotiate exclusive codes and find out the latest sales information, helping you save on your next online order.

How we test coupon codes

Every code we listed on a Golf Monthly coupon page has been tested by our team before uploading. We make sure all codes, whether they’re sales or student discounts, free shipping deals, or multi buy offers,  will be accepted at the checkout and work as intended. For that reason, our pages don’t include any user-specific or one-time use codes - just verified deals across a range of brands & categories.

Wherever it is available, we include information about each coupon on the page for clarity. You’ll find details such as expiry dates and terms & conditions below the description and ‘Get Code’ button. To view the requirements of a coupon, simply click ‘Terms & Conditions’. This will expand the code area to show additional details. We work hard to keep this information up to date, with each page refreshed at least twice a week.

What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work

Although we take great care to verify our codes, sometimes a coupon will expire or be updated before we have a chance to change our page. If you do experience any issues, don’t panic. We have a dedicated customer service team on hand to offer support should you need it.

Start by checking the terms & conditions of the coupon you have chosen. Click ‘Terms & Conditions’ to reveal all the caveats & requirements and make sure your order meets all of these. Coupons may require a number of different conditions, such as a minimum spend (i.e. when you spend $30 or more), selection of specific products (i.e. 5% off selected Golf clubs), or verification (i.e. verify with a valid military email address).

If you’ve confirmed that you meet all applicable conditions and your code is still not being accepted, you can contact  our team via email. Provide a summary of the code you used, which page it was found on, and what went wrong in an email, then send it to [email protected] . A member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible to help resolve the issue.

How we make money

Golf Monthly doesn’t charge any fees to use our coupon codes. All our revenue from our coupon pages is made through commission. For every coupon page on our site, we have an agreement with that retailer.

Whenever someone applies one of our codes to their order and makes a purchase, the brand pays us a percentage of the order total in commission. This model means our codes are always free to use, and all of our money is made directly from retailers. Our audience won’t pay any additional charges to save on their order - just the discounted price of their online order.

If you're looking for more info on Golf Monthly coupons, you can read more about How We Source Coupon Codes and How to Use Them on our dedicated page.

Sam is Golf Monthly's E-commerce Editor which mean's he oversees everything E-com related on the site.

This takes the form of creating and updating Buying Guides, reviews, and finding bargain prices for deals content.

Working with golf gear and equipment over the last six years, Sam has quickly built outstanding knowledge and expertise on golf products ranging from drivers, to balls, to shoes.

He combines this knowledge with a passion for helping golfers get the best gear for them, and as such Sam manages a team of writers that look to deliver the most accurate and informative reviews and buying advice. This is so the reader can find exactly what they are looking for, at a good price.

Additionally Sam oversees Golf Monthly voucher/coupon content which seeks to find you the best offers and promotions from well-known brands like Callaway, TaylorMade and many more.

Unfortunately, Sam is not a member of any club at the moment but regularly gets out on the golf course to keep up the facade of having a single-figure handicap.

About pga tour superstore.

Perhaps one of the biggest and most comprehensive golf stores around, the PGA Tour Superstore is your one-stop shop for everything golf. Owned and operated by the Blank Family of Businesses, who also own the Atlanta Falcons, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Atlanta United FC, the PGA Tour Superstore is one of my favorite places to shop for golf gear. From the best golf clubs to the best golf push carts , you’ll find pretty much everything you could ever want or need as a golfer on its online shop. And did we mention they also offer lessons, fitting sessions and trade-ins too ? We’ll go into that a little more shortly, but one of the biggest reasons I love the PGA Tour Superstore is the brand’s commitment to growing the game and helping players improve. As this is the official Superstore of the PGA Tour, it’s clear there is a certain level of quality in the service you’re getting and the products they’re selling. What’s more is the Superstore really goes the extra mile to ‘put people first’, ‘include everyone’ and ‘innovate continuously’ - three of the brand’s five core values . That extra bit of customer service makes the PGA Tour Superstore a great place to shop to ensure you get the right golf equipment for your needs. So, if you’re looking to pick up some new golf equipment, there is no better place to do it than at the PGA Tour Superstore! The good news is, we can help you get a discount there too! This guide will feature some top tips on how you can save money when purchasing products through the PGA Tour Superstore, and provide you with a few lucrative voucher codes that can save you some extra cash.
