They visited Manila once again and I was more than lucky to witness them perform live at New Frontier last May 5th. It was surreal like every song hits you to the core, which are my go-to when I want to listen to something so good. Hearing them live is even so better! Mayday Parades is indeed an emotion! I wish they could visit the Philippines again, soon. Or better yet have all my favorite bands come together at Bazooka Rocks!!!!

It was awesome and lit as hell, I wish it never ended #maydayparade #foreveremotour was the best concert I've ever been to, since the 1st one I went to. The staff was cool - the hype of everyone & everything was soo cool. No complaints here!!!!! Hope they come back again.

Hands down the BEST show I've ever seen. The lighting was perfect and the band was even better. I've been listening to mayday parade since I was in middle school, 13 ish years. To see them live and in person was absolutely amazing. I Can't wait to see them again!

About Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. 'Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. On July 10, 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. After signing to Fearless Records in 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere But Here was released on October 6, 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released on October 4, 2011.

Simple Plan announce 2024 UK tour with State Champs and Mayday Parade

Canadian pop-punk veterans Simple Plan have announced a 2024 tour of the UK and Europe – check out the full list of tour dates below.

Yesterday (July 31), the band took to Instagram to share a list of Europe and UK tour dates between January and February next year, with State Champs and Mayday Parade confirmed as support.

The extensive tour will see all three bands perform 20 shows across Europe and the UK, with shows confirmed for Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, Cologne, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds, London and more.

Pre-sale tickets to the tour will be available from today (August 1) from 10am local time onwards via the official Simple Plan website with the code “ICONIC”. Meanwhile, general ticket sales begin on Friday (August 4) at 10am local time.

“It’s gonna be great to play a bunch of new songs from our latest album ‘Harder Than it Looks’ as well as all the fans’ favourites from our early records. We might even throw in a few jams we rarely play live to celebrate, as 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the band and the 20th anniversary of our second album, ‘Still Not Getting Any’!” Simple Plan said of the upcoming tour in a press statement.

About Mayday Parade

American rock band Mayday Parade made their debut in the mid-aughts with the gold-certified A Lesson in Romantics, which featured a passionate emo-punk sound similar to contemporaries like Yellowcard, Plain White T's, and All Time Low. Into the 2010s, they incorporated a harder rock edge that fleshed out their punchy roots on releases like the Top 10 Monsters in the Closet (2013) and Black Lines (2015).

Simple Plan announce UK and European tour with State Champs, Mayday Parade

Simple Plan are returning to the UK and Europe for their Hard As Rock tour in 2024 – and they’re bringing State Champs and Mayday Parade with ’em!

Simple Plan have announced a 2024 UK and European headline tour.

The Canadian pop-punks’ upcoming Hard As Rock run will see them hit the road with State Champs and Mayday Parade (what a line-up!), kicking things off in Paris on January 19, and wrapping up in London on February 16. Even better, they’ll be donating $1 from every ticket sold to their Simple Plan Foundation, which ‘focuses on helping young people in need and showcasing the power of music as a tool to find purpose and direction in life’ – read more on that here .

“We’re super excited to be coming back to Europe and the UK early next year!” enthuses Simple Plan drummer Chuck Comeau. “After an amazing arena tour with our good friends Sum 41 last fall and some incredible festival shows this spring, we’re thrilled to come back on our own headlining tour, playing full shows for our UK and Euro fans all over the continent.”

“It’s gonna be great to play a bunch of new songs from our latest album Harder Than it Looks as well as all the fans’ favourites from our early records. Mayday Parade share new single ‘Miracle,’ announce 2024 tour across the UK and Europe

Mayday Parade just wrapped up an epic summer tour season that included their first-ever performances at legendary venues Red Rocks and The Rhyman along with festival plays at Hangout , Louder Than Life , Aftershock , and more. They’re capping things off with the release of their new single ’Miracle’ with the accompanying music video.

The new song follows earlier 2023 singles ’More Like A Crash’ and ’Got Me All Wrong,’ while the band is gearing up for shows in Australia and the Philippines this October and November as well as Europe and the UK at the beginning of next year with the guys from Simple Plan and State Champs .

“ ‘Miracle’ is a song I started working on during our Sunnyland record (2018) and didn’t fully complete until after we finished recording our What It Means To Fall Apart record in 2021. I was in a darker place in life during that span and was silently fighting for air. I felt alone and scared to talk about my feelings with anyone else including the people closest to me. Life was happening way too fast for me and I wasn’t ready for it or able to accept what was happening. I felt alone and knew I needed to talk about it but didn’t know how. Organically the song just came together and was the culmination of that entire span of time. Life moves faster than you can imagine and as much as you think you’re ready for what it throws at you, it can catch you off guard. It definitely did for me.” – says Jake Bundrick .

Mayday Parade UK tour dates for February 2024 & new single, Miracle

Mayday Parade went independent after their seventh album but they’re still going from strength to strength. They have played multiple festivals and made debut appearances at iconic venues like The Ryman in Nashville and Red Rocks in Colorado. Now they’re looking forward to Mayday Parade UK tour dates in February 2024. It’s going to be an epic triple-header alongside Simple Plan and State Champs.

To celebrate a successful year, Mayday Parade have released a new single, Miracle , which has been years in the making.

Vocalist and drummer Bundrick opened up about the importance of the new Mayday Parade single, Miracle : “I started working on [it] during our Sunnyland record in 2018 and didn’t fully complete until after we finished recording our What It Means To Fall Apart record in 2021.

Mayday Parade’s new-found independence

Approaching their 20th anniversary in 2025, Mayday Parade are relishing finding their way as an independent band again. To be fair, they have a decent precedent for that, having sold 58,000 copies of their debut EP Tales Told By Dead Friends .

Mayday Parade – Derek Sanders (vocals and keyboards), Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts (guitars), Jeremy Lenzo (bass), and Jake Brundrick (vocals and drums) – fulfilled their record contract with their seventh album, What It Means to Fall Apart . They decided to explore the creative possibilities of going DIY again.

Bundrick explained: “It’s extremely exciting and terrifying all at the same time. Garcia added: “There’s obviously a lot more freedom and control.”

Lenzo described what that means for Mayday Parade fans, since the band can now “release new music more consistently as opposed to dropping an album every couple of years…with the mindset that each song really needs to stand on its own.”
