Take a trip to disneyland with left 4 dead 2.
Have you ever been to Disneyland? I haven’t and at this rate it looks like I’m not ever going to. Being…you know, the age where you’re supposed to start taking your own kids… Anyway, thanks to video games, I can visit, in sort of a roundabout way. The Left 4 Dead 2 custom campaign Journey to Splash Mountain is now available on the Steam Workshop. The survivors head to Disneyland after hearing that it’s a military evacuation zone. This being Left 4 Dead and not a routine trip to Disneyland, it’s overrun with infected.
I had a chance to play through it and I can honestly say that it’s one of the more entertaining (and just overall better) custom campaigns I’ve ever played. It follows the original survivors on their way to Splash Mountain in Disneyland. On normal, it wasn’t that difficult, but I imagine that with some other additions and higher level difficulties, it would be pretty challenging.
The campaign is extremely detailed and from what I’ve read, pretty accurate of what the place actually looks like (as I said before…never been…*sadface*). Lots of Special Infected are littered throughout the maps with the campaign favouring Smokers (at least in my playthrough ).
Journey to Splash Mountain is available on either the L4D Maps site or through the Steam Workshop . I had a little bit of difficulty using the Steam Workshop, but the Left 4 Dead Maps version worked great. I’ve played quite a few custom campaigns in Left 4 Dead and this is probably one of the best ones out there. You should definitely check it out if you’re a fan of the series and looking for some fresh content.

Left 4 dead 2 mod: journey to splash mountain.

Hey, this reminds me, there's a crazy movie called 'Escape from Tomorrow' that was filmed entirely in Disney World. I don't know how they got around the licensing, but it's pretty cool/weird.

Silent Hill. It's the entirety of the PS1 Silent Hill game remade in L4D2. All of the levels are very faithful to the original maps too. It's not necessarily the best but it's just impressive you can play through the entirety of SH1. It's also long as fuck so if you play through it you might need to take a break every couple of chapters.
Same for me and my boyfriend. Subscribed to the whole collection in Workshop, upon launching game notice that they're conflicting with each other :D Every single one of them conflicts with one another. When we only ticked first part, we managed to start a server but full of texture glitches (shitloads of pink+black and ERROR messages).

It's been a long time coming. After so long, the issues regarding nav attributes on Journey to Splash Mountain have been finally resolved. This addon includes a .nav file and a .lmp file for each map. The .lmp's will only work for coop/versus. A full list of changes and what it fixes will be available in a pinned discussion for this addon.
