Short Tours in Sinharaja Rain Forest Reserve

Tour starts from the Pitadeniya entrance. Kakuna Ella waterfall and Hanging bridge in pitadeniya conservation center are the main destinations. You can have a bath in Kakuna Ella waterfall.

Tour starts from the Kurulugala entrance. Degaldoruwa waterfall and Kurulugala mountain top are the main destinations. You can have a bath in Degaldoruwa waterfall.

Trekking in the rain forest through the thick canopy of trees along the man made trails leading to the near by village, to sight the Kakuna Ella water fall

Entire tour will take maximum of at least 3 hours and you will be out of the jungle before sunset. Travelers should expect some torrential rain time to time and leeches are in abundance during the rainy season, but proper clothing will protect you from leeches. We provide you leach socks rain courts and binoculars.

You can have a bath in cool shallow water pool down the Kakuna Ella Water Fall. You must be prepared with swim suits.

This tour is suitable for elderly travelers and families with kids to get a glimpse of a true rain forest experiences.
