Tickets can be purchased from the following outlets: Cathay Cinemas, Cottle Hill Nursery, New World Kerikeri, Mitre 10 Kerikeri, Paper Plus Kerikeri, Plant Zone Direct, Redwoods Garden Centre and Unichem Kerikeri Pharmacy. Tickets can also be purchased by direct credit.

You can either collect your ticket and Garden Safari book at New World Kerikeri or for a nominal fee, postage can be arranged.

Shortly before his death at the age of 86, Frank Cabot, gardener, horticulturist and influential philanthropist shares his personal quest for perfection through the creation of his four winds gardens, a magnificent private garden in the Charlevoix region near Quebec City.

Gardens and So Much More!

Do you ever wonder about what you could be missing out on? Do not miss out this year! You will experience two days of discovery, beauty, and time to literally, smell the roses.

We are delighted to present the 37th year of our annual, iconic garden tour, that attracts both local and out of town, visitors. For many, this is a yearly visit.

Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November 2024 : 9.30 am to 4.00 pm both days.

Our sincere thanks to the major sponsor, New World Kerikeri, and other sponsor organisations whose contributions are essential, for the success of the event.

We are extremely grateful to the local garden owners, who generously open their grounds, for you to wander, at leisure. Many will be onsite and happy to chat to visitors.

As you discover grounds, located down long driveways, winding private roads, or tucked away in town, you will be captivated by the diversity, size, and themes.

A local choir will entertain you at one venue and refreshments will be available at other sites. Garden art and potted plants will also be available for sale. 

Your brochure, which accompanies your ticket, gives detailed information about the individual gardens, and acknowledges our generous sponsors, whose support makes the event a reality.

Kerikeri Rotarians, and Friends of Rotary Kerikeri, will be on duty throughout the weekend to support the garden owners, to welcome you, and to direct parking. Tickets will be available from our usual sponsoring outlets, for the fantastic price of $35 covers entry to all  gardens on both days.

Beneficiaries: The profits from the Garden Safari fund raiser are managed by Rotary Kerikeri, predominantly, for community support, schools, and youth. A special mention about our ongoing support of the Te Tai Tokerau, Tamariki, Mental Wellbeing Project, that is of benefit to all Northland primary schools
