Pulled into this train wreck of a business and got gas. No where did it say no receipts available. Blonde lady worker in there was snippy and refused to help. Nice service...... hope it goes under.

It's pretty much there only truck stop in this area not the best but it's definitely better than nothing, the truck parking fills up fast during the evening hours, they have decent restrooms and showers plus the staff is pretty cool and laid back.

I have a Flying D, does that count? This Flying J is a good price and therefore a good place to get gas. It has the same price as all the other gas stations in Emporia pretty much, but since it's a little more out of the way, it's a little cheaper. As I say, it's a little out of the way and more quiet because it's not directly on the highway. It has a really safe parking lot and good facilities and I like it. It has a cool little driver's Lounge but I think that they should have more outlets in there. There is one but it's not very convenient to use. Then again neither is your d**k. Also the fact that I slept a good 12 hours here, no worries. Well that's an exaggeration but I did have a very extended sleep here which made me late for my Kansas City food tour, and I really appreciated that I was completely safe the whole night.

Nastiest truck stop ever, lady at diesel desk didn't want to renew my points for shower, had to pay $13. Plagued with flies so nasty, even in the showers mold. Parking is limited and very hard to get into spots when other trucks are parking in no parking zone. I would avoid this place if I had a choice. Towels smell nasty like they don't use soap.

This place is just gross. From the second you walk in nothing looks like it's been cleaned in months. The front doors have smudges and fingerprints and handprints all over them. The restrooms are nasty. The floors are sticky. Everything about this place is just gross. It's worth driving farther down the road to find a better place to stop.

I am rating this Flying J pretty high with a 2 star and doing so because they have a spot for drive through motorhome fuel. But the store is absolutely filthy. It's hard to believe Flying J would allow such conditions.

Bought two breakfast sandwiches today I wouldn't feed to a starving dog. And guess what didn't even take a bite out of them and they wouldn't refund my money. Taking my business somewhere else

It's a truck stop is the best you could say. It has all of the basics, but I suppose if that's your expectations, you'll be good. Personally, I wasn't impressed with the hygiene situation of the showers. There was mold on the walls and ceiling of the shower. A little bleach mix with water or shower cleaner in between customers could go a long way from a sanitation and hygiene standpoint. Spray it up there, and use a scrub brush on a mop handle to reach and knock out the mold. It's all tiled, so this shouldn't be too difficult. In my mind, if you're going to over look mold in plain view, I tend to wonder about the other things. Such as floors, towels, etc. this may not be a fault on the employee cleaning, but rather management not providing the materials/chemicals and training to effectively do the job. The parking lot doesn't have a ton of space, but it makes the best use of what it has and with that, it excels.

Clean bathrooms and lots of pumps for gas. What more can you ask for in a gas station?

Most things about this store are good. My only peeves are the dirty water or sometimes no water at all for washing windshields and the washer/scrapers are broken and chipped and never changed either. The lines are always too long to wait if someone is on the clock.
