They interviewed a lot of really rad people in this, I appreciate that a majority of the insight featured is from people who use drugs and are at the front lines of the overdose crisis. Would have appreciated a way bigger emphasis on the impacts that prohibition and criminalization of drugs and the people who use them, and highlight why we need full decriminalization. They also used sound and transitions to alter the mood of the film many times super beautifully. These things are always changing so any media covering the overdose crisis is bound to be outdated at least slightly. For 2020, this was really really well done and holds up quite well in 2022.

Tyler the creator should of got cancelled for mocking the barely alive dying homeless addicts of Vancouver. he donated a box of shirts to homeless people one time in 2013 so thats good but maybe He could donate some fat checks (cause he's rich as fuck) to British Columbia Centre on Substance Use or Together We Can or The Salvation Army Belkin House. You can literally make jokes about anything but choose to single out the weak dying human life and influencing all his fans (mob mentality) in the crowd to have the same mindset to not even consider them as hurt humans that need help but rather tweaking crack heads off the juice, homelessness & addiction are two of the biggest problems we face in the world today and he just treats them as a nuisance. Shame Fuck Elon

For those unfamiliar with Fentanyl, this is quite an educational doc. I thought it was informative and really enjoyed the director choosing to properly focus on various users and also highlighting people that are trying to help those who are addicted. The film goes places and shows things I didn't expect. I will say I wish the piece was a bit longer and dove even deeper into what it's like to be hooked and that suffering. I think there was room for an even deeper exploration, but what is here is quite resonant and impactful.

So many interesting people were talked to in this documentary. I found myself captivated by every individuals story. It was a very sad watch and I often found myself tearing up, but this truly was an incredible documentary. There is no price for protecting human life.
