4-4,5 hrs. / 4-6 km. / medium explore the highlights of iceland’s glaciers. let your guide lead you through breathtaking glacial landscapes. equipped with crampons, a helmet, and a harness you will explore vatnajökull glacier with the team at ice explorers., ice cave and exploration tour, super-jeep • ice cave • glacier walk.

5-6 hrs. / 4-6 km. / medium On this tour we will go off the beaten track and visit more remote locations. While the mass traffic only visits the main Ice Cave and never steps foot on the glacier. We will visit blue canyons and crevasses, as well as the season’s largest natural Ice Cave.

Availability: october – april, ice cave tour, super-jeep • ice cave.

3-4 hrs. / 3-4 km. / easy Join us on an exciting adventure exploring the wonders of Vatnajökull Glacier. Our guide will show you the season’s largest natural ice cave in one of our custom-made super jeeps!

Zodiac tours.

On the Zodiac we are able to cover large areas of the glacier lagoon and get closer to the icebergs than on the amphibian. When possible the Zodiac goes almost all the way up to the glacier (as close as safe).

AMPHIBIAN BOAT TOURS

We offer exciting boat trips on the glacier lagoon in one of our four amphibian boats. During the excursion you sail among the huge icebergs in the picturesque scenery of Jökulsárlón.

Bus crew is fantastic. Service is great . Lunch is nice. Bus is neat and clean. Guide explains the sight scenes.

We enjoyed our Japser trip very much. We went on the tour in early May, although some of the spots were not yet opened at the time, our tour guide Will is very resourceful and took us to a lot of alternative scenic spots. He is also extremely helpful and informative. We learnt a lot about the landforms in the rockies, enjoyed wonderful scenery, and even got to see a grizzly bear along the way. It really is a once in a lifetime experience and we enjoyed it a lot all thanks to Will! Would definitely recommend the tour to others.

The experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Our guide's knowledge and insights about the area added a special dimension to the overall trip. Walking on the glacier and the skywalk were unlike anything we have ever done before. This day - from pick up at our hotel to final drop off is a memory my husband and I will always treasure. Our guide on the glacier was a both witty and humorous. This is a must do for anyone coming to the area; truly a once in a lifetime experience.
