Day 01: Arriving In Delhi :

On arriving in Delhi, a representative of our company will meet you and escort you to your hotel to make you comfortable there. Enjoy a pleasant stay whole day and night with standard services.

Day 02: Delhi Visit :

Spend your whole day visiting various famous attractions of Old and New Delhi. This visit will take you to places like Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Jama Masjid, etc which are located in Old Delhi. In New Delhi, you will be taken to Humanyun’s Tomb, Lotus temple, Qutub Minar, Rasthtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. After a memorable visit of Delhi, enjoy overnight stay in your hotel room in Delhi.

Day 03: Depart For Ranthambore National Park :

In the morning, get ready for railway station in New Delhi as your train for Sawai Madhopur which is the nearest railway station to Ranthambore National park, is scheduled for you. On reaching there, our representative will meet you and transfer you in your resort in Ranthambore National park. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch in the resort and then, participate in your first wildlife excursion through jeep safari. Enjoy overnight stay at resort with other facilities.

Day 04: Ranthambore National Park Visit :

Enjoy visiting the whole national park as there are morning and afternoon safaris are scheduled for you. Explore endangered wildlife, beautiful flora and fauna and other mesmerizing elements of the park. After an exciting visit, spend quality time in your resort.

Day 05: Sightseeing Ranthambore National Park :

Wake up in the morning and get ready to experience the wildlife safari in the park. On your return from there, a tasty breakfast will be presented to you in your resort. In the afternoon, another safari is planned for you; so that you can witness the best views of jungle and wildlife. After an energizing visit in the park, enjoy comforts in resort with overnight stay.

Day 06: Ranthambore National Park Visit :

There are so many things in this park which cannot be enjoyed in one or two days. It is a reason, we organize different safaris to different zones each day. So, spend this day again enjoying morning and afternoon safari. Then, have leisure in the resort comfortably.

Day 07: Ranthambore Visit & Back In Delhi :

Enjoy last safari in the park and then, enjoy breakfast. After that, you will be transferred to the railways station as a train is there to catch. In Delhi, your tour comes to an end.

• 1. Above mentioned package is not applicable for long weekend, any festive holiday, Christmas and New Year.
• 2. Above mentioned tour will be booked minimum 2 days before of your traveling date.

Terms & conditions :

• In all hotels base category room will be provided.
• In case of upgradation of room will cost extra and pay to the hotel directly.
• Time of check-in 12:00 noon and check out 11:00 AM.
• Please make sure and enter correct age of passengers at the time of booking. Passengers furnishing incorrect age may incur penalty at the time of travelling.
• In case of non availability of rooms in mentioned hotel we shall provide similar standard hotel.
• In case of 3 persons, 1 room with 1 extra mattress will be provided.
• Any changes in Govt. taxes, hotel charges, safari charges etc will be informed by mail or phone before traveling date.
• Company will not be responsible for any accident, loss/theft or dammage of luggage.
• We reserve the right to make itinerary and safari changes as operational or other circumstances require.

Policy Regarding Cancellation/ No Show / Early Departure :

In case if you are postponing or cancelling your tour/travel due to any unavoidable reasons, you must intimate us in writing. Please make it sure that cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive your mail in writing. Following cancellation policy would be applicable:

• 30 days prior to arrival – 10% of the tour cost.
• 15 days to 29 days prior to arrival – 30% of the tour cost.
• 07 days to 14 days prior to arrival – 40 % of the tour cost
• 02 days to 06 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour cost.
• Less than 48 hours or no show – NO REFUND.
• Jeep Safari & Canter Safari amount are non refundable.
• Important Note :  In case your safari is not booked due to reasons like technical error or non-availability of seat, we will refund the whole amount in your given bank account. The same would be communicated accordingly.
• In case of peak season –  weekends or weekdays (Holi, Diwali, X’Mas & New Year) hotel/Forest Lodges bookings separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).
• Our Liabilities and Limitations :  Please note that after you finalize the tour/service cost and in case if there are any hikes in permit fees of safaris/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges decided by the Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
• Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
• In case of dispute, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

Located about 12 kilometers (null.5 miles) from Sawai Madhopur, the Ranthambhore National Park was once the private hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur. At present, the national park is a part of Project Tiger and is one of the few places in the world, where over 300 species of birds and wild .

At Ranthambore National Park, in the Indian Subcontinent, the tiger rules the jungle. This nearly 400 sq. Km wide stretch of land in Rajasthan is where these majestic animals reside, roaming amidst verdant greenery along with other animals and birds. Unfortunately, due to its dwindling population, spotting a tiger is a matter of luck, but it is still one of the few places on earth where you can witness tigers in their natural habitat. A jeep safari at the park is not just an exciting adventure but is a chance to explore nature in its truest form. It makes people realize the importance of conserving endangered species, to balance the ecosystem of the earth. The National Park is also home to numerous historic structures, including the magnificent Ranthambore Fort, several temples, mosques, lakes and hunting pavilions. The villages in and around the park give you a glimpse inside the simple life led by the local people of Ranthambore. Walk around the villages, and you will be mesmerized by the vibrant culture of Rajasthan, where you will realize that the state does live up to the hype.

Arrive Delhi to Ranthambore

Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met Yatra Representative. After doing necessary formalities (should not take more than 5-10 minutes), our representative will hand over the vehicle to you at the airport or nearby pick up location and brief you about the important aspects of Self Drive cars. (Transportation to be arranged by yourself to the nearest pick up location.) Upon receiving your Self Drive vehicle,drive straight from Delhi to Ranthambore. Arrive and check in at hotel. visit Soorwal Lake, Fort & Mansarovar Lake for watching different type of Birds. Rajiv Gandhi Wildlife Museum & Sawai Madhopur Old City after back to Hotel. In a recent report titled ‘Status of Tigers 2022’ by the National Tiger Conservation Authority, it’s revealed that India is home to an impressive 70 percent of the world’s tiger population, totaling around 3,167 tigers. Among India’s notable tiger reserves is the renowned Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, situated in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.

Established initially as a wildlife sanctuary in 1955, Ranthambore has since become one of India’s premier tiger reserves. It’s famous for its diurnal tigers, meaning they’re active during the day, making sightings almost guaranteed for visitors. Here, tigers live freely, often spotted playing with their cubs or hunting for prey.

For a chance to witness these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat, visitors can embark on safaris through the jungle. These safaris, offered twice daily (except Wednesdays), from October to June, are immensely popular among tourists. Brief History of Ranthambore

The name Ranthambore National Park originates from the majestic Ranthambore Fort nestled within its boundaries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic fort houses the revered Trinetra Ganesha Temple, a cherished Hindu place of worship.

Before India gained independence from British rule, vast forests blanketed the subcontinent. However, rapid population growth and industrialization led to widespread deforestation. Initially, these forests served as hunting grounds for the royalty of the Jaipur kingdom. While hunting was sporadic, industrialization posed a significant threat to the forests and their wildlife, particularly the tiger population.

To address this pressing issue, the Rajasthan state government enacted the Rajasthan Forest Act in 1953 to protect the remaining forests. Subsequently, in 1955, the forest surrounding Ranthambore was declared the Sawai Madhopur Sanctuary. To safeguard the endangered tiger population, the government of India launched Project Tiger in 1973, establishing Tiger Reserves within the sanctuary.

Over time, the sanctuary and Tiger Reserve expanded to include neighboring forests. The Kaila Devi Wildlife Sanctuary to the north and the Sawai Mansingh Wildlife Sanctuary to the south became integral parts of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, ensuring the protection and preservation of this invaluable ecosystem.

Tiger Conservation Efforts

In 1973, Project Tiger was launched to protect India’s dwindling tiger population, including those in Ranthambore National Park. This initiative was prompted by a census in 1972, revealing a concerning decline in tiger numbers due to hunting and poaching.

Ranthambore, a prominent sanctuary, played a vital role in tiger conservation efforts. Under Project Tiger, the park was divided into ‘core areas’ and ‘buffer zones’. Core areas were designated for tigers to roam freely, protected from deforestation and commercial activities. Buffer zones allowed local communities to use the land for farming while supporting conservation efforts.

To ensure effective implementation, a statutory body, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), was established. Endowed with administrative and legal powers under the Wildlife Protection Act, the NTCA oversees tiger reserve management, conservation guidelines, and tourism regulations.

Recent census data shows a promising increase in Ranthambore’s Bengal tiger population, from 66 in 2019 to 81 in 2021. SP Yadav, NTCA member secretary, emphasizes the importance of local engagement in tiger conservation, advocating for awareness programs and eco-tourism opportunities to foster support and ecological balance

Flora and Fauna at Ranthambore

Situated near Rajasthan’s Thar Desert, Ranthambore National Park features dry deciduous forests with minimal rainfall. The park boasts around 539 species of flowering plants, with the Dhok tree being the most prevalent, providing fodder for herbivores like Deer and Antelopes.

Other trees found within the park include Mango, Tamarind, Peepal, Neem, and the iconic Banyan tree, known as one of the country’s oldest. Lakes in Ranthambore are adorned with Lotus and Water Lily flowers, surrounded by Khus grass. Additionally, flora such as Babul, Ber, Imli, Jamun, Kadam, Khajur, and Tendu contribute to the park’s rich biodiversity.

As a tiger reserve, Ranthambore is home to a thriving population of Tigers, alongside other notable big cats like Leopards, Caracals, Jungle Cats, and Fishing Cats. The park also shelters a diverse range of mammals including Desert Foxes, Indian Foxes, Indian Wild Boars, Palm Civets, and Hanuman Langurs. Among the deer and antelope species found here are Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Indian Gazelles, Black Bucks, and Blue Bulls or Nilgais.

Ranthambore’s rich biodiversity extends to its reptilian inhabitants, which include Desert Monitor Lizards, Banded Kraits, Cobras, Tortoises, Indian Pythons, Indian Flap Shelled Turtles, Russell’s Vipers, and Snub-Nosed Marsh Crocodiles.

Jungle Safari: Witness Tigers Up Close in Ranthambore

Ranthambore National Park offers thrilling Tiger Safaris, providing visitors with the opportunity to observe tigers and other wildlife up close. The park is divided into 10 zones, with zones 1-6 being the most popular. During summers, zones 3, 4, and 5 are prime spots for tiger sightings due to the presence of lakes.

Safaris are available only from October to June and can be booked through the Forest Department. Two types of safaris are offered: Jeep Safari, accommodating up to 6 people, and Canter Safari, accommodating up to 20 people. While Jeep Safari is slightly pricier, it’s favored by visitors for its flexibility and access to remote areas.

Safaris last approximately 3.5 hours and operate twice daily, in the morning and evening. Due to high demand, booking well in advance is recommended. The park reserves seats for the evening of the same day and the following morning. Online booking is available for added convenience.

Day 01: Arriving In Delhi :

On arriving in Delhi, a representative of our company will meet you and escort you to your hotel to make you comfortable there. Enjoy a pleasant stay whole day and night with standard services.

Day 02: Delhi Visit :

Spend your whole day visiting various famous attractions of Old and New Delhi. This visit will take you to places like Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Jama Masjid, etc which are located in Old Delhi. In New Delhi, you will be taken to Humanyun's Tomb, Lotus temple, Qutub Minar, Rasthtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. After a memorable visit of Delhi, enjoy overnight stay in your hotel room in Delhi.

Day 03: Depart For Ranthambore National Park :

In the morning, get ready for railway station in New Delhi as your train for Sawai Madhopur which is the nearest railway station to Ranthambore National park, is scheduled for you. On reaching there, our representative will meet you and transfer you in your resort in Ranthambore National park. Day 04: Ranthambore National Park Visit :

Day 05: Sightseeing Ranthambore National Park :

Wake up in the morning and get ready to experience the wildlife safari in the park. On your return from there, a tasty breakfast will be presented to you in your resort. In the afternoon, another safari is planned for you; so that you can witness the best views of jungle and wildlife. Day 06: Ranthambore National Park Visit :

In case if you are postponing or cancelling your tour/travel due to any unavoidable reasons, you must intimate us in writing. Please make it sure that cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive your mail in writing. Following cancellation policy would be applicable:

• 30 days prior to arrival - 10% of the tour cost.
• 15 days to 29 days prior to arrival - 30% of the tour cost.
• 07 days to 14 days prior to arrival - 40 % of the tour cost
• 02 days to 06 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour cost.
• Less than 48 hours or no show - NO REFUND.
• Jeep Safari & Canter Safari amount are non refundable.
• Important Note : In case your safari is not booked due to reasons like technical error or non-availability of seat, we will refund the whole amount in your given bank account. The same would be communicated accordingly.
• In case of peak season - weekends or weekdays (Holi, Diwali, X'Mas & New Year) hotel/Forest Lodges bookings separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).
• Our Liabilities and Limitations : Please note that after you finalize the tour/service cost and in case if there are any hikes in permit fees of safaris/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges decided by the Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
• Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
