OMEGA X Connect With Fans In Atlanta On Their 2022 World Tour

OMEGA X are currently on their anticipated  2022 World Tour [CONNECT :Don’t give up]. The group was originally scheduled to perform 12 concerts in the U.S. for October.

Recently, OMEGA X performed at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. Despite falling on a Thursday night, FOR X (OMEGA X fans) excitedly showed up to see the “second chance”  group perform live. The 11-member SPIRE Entertainment  group, which debuted last year, consists of those who were all previously members of other K-Pop boy groups. They are  Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk , and  Yechan.

A diverse crowd, including men and women of all ages, entered the venue ahead of time, dressed up for the event. Many wore either merchandise (official and fanmade) or the official fandom color, green. Waiting for OMEGA X to take to the stage, attendees posed for impromptu photoshoots, handed out freebies, including glowsticks and cutout green hearts, signed a flag to gift to them, and even got some alcoholic beverages.

Fans immediately got hyped when OMEGA X’s discography started playing. They knew it was only a short while until the group came out.

Once the venue went dark and lights started flashing, the lightsticks lit up green, and barks (yes, barks) filled the room. And as soon as the recognizable music of the hit song “VAMOS” began, the barks morphed into screams. As expected, each member walked onto the stage one by one, and even before the lights shone onto them, they began performing.

The group kept the energy at its height by performing “OMEGA X” then. So, if you didn’t know who they were already, you knew then! Afterward, they also properly introduced themselves as both a group and individually. They were met with lots of excited barking and cheering.

After opening introductions, OMEGA X performed two more back-to-back hype songs, “WHAT’S GOIN’ ON” and “BAILA CON OX,” that had fans screaming the entire time. The light show, the members’ high-energy and skilled dance moves, and the crowd made one almost forget it was a Thursday night. Instead, it felt more like a night out clubbing, celebrating payday!

Yet, everything went dark afterward as the members left the stage. Even more surprisingly, their voices could still be heard. They conversed with each other backstage for a few minutes before coming back to reveal new outfits. Clearly, the show was just getting started as they immediately went into a fan-favorite song, “LOVE ME LIKE,” followed by “TAKE’EM ALL.”

They took a break to cool down after bringing the heat and to interact with FOR X. They quizzed fans, and the first one to answer (correctly) was invited onstage, greeted by the members’ singing “Congratulations.”

OMEGA X welcomed the fan and had her introduce herself as Zaryah (@hwichansgif on Twitter). The members all proved to be true gentlemen as they provided her a seat and a jacket to cover herself as she was wearing a skirt.

If it couldn’t get any sweeter, they told her they loved her and serenaded her with “LOVE.” They concluded the wholesome moment by taking a group selfie and hugging!

This helped transition the atmosphere into a more sentimental discography of theirs, such as “DRY FLOWER.” This song is especially timely as it compares persevering through tough times to a dying flower only to one day bloom again. If the lyrics weren’t moving already, the members’ harmonies joined with FOR X’s was so touching.

The group performed one more song, “ICETAG,” before heading backstage. Again, although the venue went black and the members couldn’t be seen, they never really left as their voices filled the dark venue.

They could be heard asking FOR X if they “were ready” and instructing them to  “make some noise,” which warranted lots of screams. Finally, the members lead them to chant “OMEGA X,” continuing to tease their return. After a couple of minutes of wait, they showed up in all-denim fits to perform the lighthearted track “PLAY DUMB.”

The group then performed the romantic but upbeat song “ALL ABOUT U,” which had all swooning as they pointed to fans in the audience. The members even did adorable heart poses together. Consider us bias-wrecked by literally all of the above!

OMEGA X performed “LIAR” before stopping to address fans. Most members spoke via translator, who expressed for them that they were having so much fun that they couldn’t believe it was real. FOR X shared the same sentiments.

The concert seemed to be coming to an end, unfortunately, but they performed “VENUS” before leaving. It was not truly the end, though. Once again, the venue turned black, and their voices could be heard, encouraging FOR X that an encore was in sight.

Sure enough, after a brief wait, they appeared in their tour T-Shirts to perform “YOUNGER” before their final song, “FOR BABY,” which is an especially meaningful song as it was written by Jaehan, Yechan, Hangyeom, and fans (they suggested lyrics via live broadcast last year). During the finale, FOR X lifted green hearts for them as part of a heart project hosted by @JaehanPeach on Twitter, expressing their love. The members walked around the stage and even reached out to fans, receiving gifts, including hearts and the signed OMEGA X banner that was prepared by FOR X ahead of the concert. Hyuk even wore the banner as a cape!

The room was filled with love as one could feel the sincerity between FOR X and OMEGA X. While most artists would use the song as a final goodbye, the members stayed longer to take a group photo, wave goodbye to each section, pose for photos, and shout, “I love you!”  It felt like a night that would never end and that no one wanted to.

Despite the concert concluding, it was one that everyone present that night would remember forever.

Correction: In a previous version of the article, “LOVE” was misidentified as “BINARY STAR,” and the wrong FOR X was credited for the heart and banner projects.

On July 24, OMEGA X announced their first world tour, 2022 OMEGA X World Tour [Connect :Don't give up], which will take place in America in September and October 2022. [1] They later revealed the first five dates for the Latin American leg, starting with Guadalajara on September 16. [2] On August 12, they announced the dates for the North American leg. [3]

On September 13, they announced that they had canceled their Brasil date. [4] They also announced the addition of a Chile concert date. [5]

Hangyeom was unable to participate in the Mexico City concert due to health issues. [6]

On September 27, they announced the cancellation of three North American concerts due to the local promoter. [7] The following day, MC Entertainment confirmed they took over the group's USA tour. [8]

Members Jehyun , Kevin , Hyuk and Yechan were unable to participate in the Santiago concert due to health concerns. [9]

On October 3, MC Entertainment announced the cancellation of the New York City concert due to miscommunication between agency and promotion company. The concert was rescheduled for the next day. [10]

K-pop boyband OMEGA X to perform in Latin America and US on first world tour

The 11-member act will go on the road in September and October

K-pop boy group OMEGA X will soon be embarking on their first-ever world tour.

On July 14, the boyband and SPIRE Entertainment announced that the group, who debuted in 2021, will kick off their first-ever world tour sometime this September.

While official dates and venues have yet to be shared, SPIRE Entertainment has revealed via a press release that the boyband will perform in six cities across four countries in Latin America in September. The 11-member act will then head to the US in October, where they will hold concerts in 12 cities. Further details are expected in the following weeks.

The news comes a month after the release of OMEGA X’s debut studio album ‘낙서(樂서): Story Written in Music’, which was led by the title track ‘Play Dumb’. Several songs on the record, including its title track, were co-written and/or composed by members of the boyband.

OMEGA X made their debut last June with their debut mini-album ‘Vamos’, which featured a lead single of the same name. Notably, the group comprises members who have been part of various other K-pop acts in the past. The members hail from now-disbanded groups like 1TEAM and 1THE9 and boybands on extended hiatuses, such as Limitless and SNUPER.

In an interview with NME last year, the boyband shared their thoughts on receiving a “second chance” to debut as K-pop idols. “Having a second chance is really amazing, and my thoughts and feelings have changed a lot this time,” said member Hangyeom. “I want to empower our fans and the public, and it’s now my dream to give them hope.”

Show Review: Omega X invites Arizona to Connect on their world tour

Omega X wants the world to know their name and the fans at Tempe’s Marquee Theatre won’t be forgetting it anytime soon. The latest wave of KPOP visited Arizona on their current tour, bringing slick dance moves and killer vocals to the desert.

While the house may not have been full, the audience understood their assignment- welcoming the 11 member group with the loudest cheers, brightest lightsticks and plenty of presents. They took the stage to an onslaught of screaming and launched right into the multilingual “Vamos” and their impossibly catchy namesake track “Omega X”. 

It was their party and we were all invited to dance and sing along. The energy and feeling behind the group’s music transcended language barriers and the fans gave every lyric their all. All of the members took time between songs to introduce themselves and express their gratitude to everyone who showed up to sing with them. They even invited one lucky (and extremely flustered) fan onstage to be serenaded- and of course took plenty of selfies to document the occasion. 

“Dry Flower” was a fan favorite as the guys flexed their incredible synchronization and tight choreography. Every fan felt seen and safe in the bubble created by the group and the show, expressing themselves freely in their carefully crafted outfits and signs for the members.

Omega X gave us almost two hours of nonstop energy, closing the night with another outfit change and getting showered with gifts during “Younger”. We’ve seen several KPOP groups grace the Marquee’s stage and these 11 gentlemen are some of the best we’ve had the pleasure to party alongside. Post-show, dozens of fans lined up for shirts and selfies, closing out another killer night with their favorites.

OMEGA X abruptly cancels New York City tour date due to miscommunication between agency and promotion company

OMEGA X has cancelled the New York City date of their 2022 world tour ' CONNECT: Don't Give Up .'

According to a statement released by the group's agency Spire Entertainment , the OMEGA X members and their staff were supposed to fly from Santiago to New York City. However, their promotion company MC Entertainment cancelled their plane tickets without prior notice.

"With the slightest hope for receiving new tickets, all members and staff waited at the airport for six hours.  When they finally got the news about retrieving new tickets for a 11:55 PM flight on the same day, it was 9:30 PM, and therefore, all check-in counters for international flights have already been closed," the statement continued.  "With MC Entertainment's incomprehensible acts, OMEGA X's upcoming schedules in North America are currently unknown. MC Entertainment is avoiding all responsibilities regarding the upcoming tour schedules and not providing any feedback or apologies."

Spire Entertainment concluded the statement by apologizing to fans, adding that they can contact their respective ticket reservation services for refund information.

The 2nd company to fuck over Omega X and Fans, first Code1 now MC so glad Spire made a statement and is calling them out and holding them responsible for their shit.

What a nightmare for everyone, especially the group members! Such a waste of time, energy, hope, and hard work. A real bummer.

Update: OMEGA X Reschedules New York Concert After Sudden Cancellation

OMEGA X’s tour promoter MC Entertainment has responded to the cancellation of the group’s New York concert.

Shortly after Spire Entertainment announced the sudden cancellation of OMEGA X’s concert in New York and detailed their issues with MC Entertainment, the tour promoter has released a new statement. In the post, they cite logistics issues for OMEGA X’s cancelled flight tickets and announce that the New York concert will now be held on October 4 at the same venue, with the rest of the tour proceeding as planned.

Hello everyone, due to some problems in the logistics, the flight from Santiago, Chile to the State of New York, today’s concert Monday has been postponed to tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4, in the same place all the benefits they had already acquired such as the Code1Zone. We want to take advantage of and apologize publicly to the fans, Spire Entertainment and the wonderful guys from Omega X. The tour will continue as planned. We apologize sincerely for our mistakes on the flight ticketing yesterday for Omega X.

OMEGA X has unfortunately had to cancel their concert in New York.

On October 3 local time, OMEGA X’s agency Spire Entertainment released statements in Korean and English explaining the cancellation of their New York concert, which was scheduled for the same day. The group recently concluded the Latin American leg of their 2022 “CONNECT: Don’t Give Up” world tour before travelling to New York for the start of their U.S. leg.

Hello. This is Spire Entertainment. With a heavy heart, we have unfortunate news to share with all fans who have been waiting for OMEGA X’s concerts for a long time. We regret to inform you that OMEGA X cannot appear on their New York concert for 2022 world tour [CONNECT: Don’t Give Up] on October 3, 2022. On October 2, 2022 (local Chile time), OMEGA X members and staffs were scheduled to depart Chile for the New York show. However, MC Entertainment, who is responsible for OMEGA X’s U.S. Tour, canceled their plane tickets to New York without any notice. With the slightest hope of receiving new tickets, all members and staffs waited at the airport for six hours. When they finally got the news about retrieving new tickets for an 11:55 p.m. flight on the same day, it was 9:30 p.m. and therefore all check-in counters for international flights had already been closed. With MC Entertainment’s incomprehensible acts, OMEGA X’s upcoming schedules in North America are currently unknown. MC Entertainment is avoiding all responsibilities regarding upcoming tour schedules and not providing us any feedback or apologies. We have considered and discussed many ways to keep our promise with fans and make this show possible, but we failed to deliver our promise. We deeply apologize about that. With New York being their first U.S. tour stop, OMEGA X is currently scheduled for 11 total shows across the United States in October.
