I love Kelsea Ballerini so much and it wsas amazing to see her live. She has an incredible voice and her performance was stellar. The interaction with the crowd was great and she just really connected with people. I honestly just wish I could meet her in person.

Kelsea Ballerini was truly amazing! She has amazing stage energy and it made a perfect night... this was a concert I will never forget. I have been listening to her music for a long time and getting to see her perform them live was an incredible experience.

This concert was absolutely amazing. She put on such a great show and really tried to interact w the crowd taking selfies and Doug lots of covers. Her music is great so fun sassy and entertaining. She was super nice and we got to meet her backstage!!!

GREAT SHOW! Loved watching Levi Hummon, he was so awesome!! And loved the surprise visit from Tori Kelly! Kelsea was absolutely stunning and she was so fun to hang out with!

Award-winning songwriter Kelsea Ballerini has announced a return to the road in early 2023 promoting her new album 'Subject to Change' . Her Heartfirst Tour gets started again in March visiting Toronto, Detroit, Columbus, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Atlantic City and Pittsburgh. Joining the tour in support will be special guest Georgia Webster. Later in the year, the singer will be joining Kenny Chesney during portions of his I Go Back Tour .

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into the summer visiting Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, Highland, Oakland, Woodinville, Jacksonville, Portland, Boise, Sandy and Phoenix.

Ballerini released her fourth studio album 'Subject to Change' on September 23rd, 2022 via Black River Entertainment. The new album reached #3 on Billboard's Country chart and follows up 2020's 'Kelsea' which was certified Gold by the RIAA. The prior year, the Knoxville-based songstress joined forces with Brett Young and launched their Miss Me More Tour across America. Back in 2018, she embarked on her own Unapologetically Tour with support from Walker Hayes .

The country star welcomed several female collaborators for the project, including Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, a co-writer on the album’s title “Subject to Change” and the tour’s namesake, “Heartfirst.” Alysa Vanderheym is also a co-producer on the project, and wrote “Heartfirst” with Fairchild and Ballerini. She also collaborated with Carly Pearce and Kelly Clarkson on the song “You’re Drunk, Go Home.”

“It’s interesting because in the conversation of, ‘Yes, we need more women in country music,’ what does that actually look like?” Ballerini previously told Billboard . “We need more female artists and collaborators but we also need more female opportunities throughout the whole chain of events, you know? I intentionally wanted to write with more women this time. For me, when you are making a record about emotions, when you connect with a woman creatively, you’re gonna be able to tap into that in a whole different way.”

Kelsea Ballerini's meteoric rise to fame has been spectacular: She's already had several smash albums, gotten an armful of awards, and even published a book of poetry.

Ballerini's mesmerizing approach to country music has not only charmed audiences of millions but has allowed the country songstress to carve out a country music legacy alongside the genre's most influential voices. As the country pop sensation hops into The Voice red chair, fans can look forward to the contagious energy and unparalleled expertise Ballerini is set to bring to the competition.

How did Kelsea Ballerini get her start in the music industry?

Ballerini moved to Nashville and began performing when she was just 15 years old. She signed a record deal with Black River Entertainment in 2013 at 19 years old and released her debut single "Love Me Like You Mean It" in 2014, kick-starting a triumphant music career that would dominate radio waves for years to come.

The Knoxville, Tennessee native explained in a 2014 CMT interview that she began writing songs at the age of 13 as an outlet to help her cope with her parent's divorce. "I found it right in that time," Ballerini revealed. "I started coping with life through that way and  never  stopped."

"I wrote poems and journals, but that's when it switched for me to songwriting," Ballerini said. "That's when I wanted to do everything. It was like a fire all of a sudden. I started coming to Nashville and moved here when I was 15."

She also credits her decision to become a musician to vocal powerhouse Kelly Clarkson  because, when Ballerini was 12 years old, she attended one of Clarkson's concerts. Ballerini recalled to Country Living that, as she watched her hero work her on-stage magic, she realized, "That's what I want to do when I grow up."

After a video of Clarkson winking was displayed on the video monitors, Ballerini felt it was a sign from the "Breakaway" singer herself.

"Ever since then, I've been like, 'Kelly Clarkson told me to be an artist," Ballerini teased.

The two later performed together during the Clarkson's Meaning of Life tour and worked together on The Voice.

Was Kelsea Ballerini on The Voice before Season 27?

Ballerini was the "Fifth Coach" in Season 15 of The Voice during the competition's digital series Comeback Stage. During the series, Ballerini met up with six Artists who didn't get chair turns during Blind Auditions and, with her guidance, they competed for a spot in the Top 13 Live Shows.

The following season, Ballerini served as an advisor for Season 16's Team Kelly.

Ballerini then temporarily filled in for Clarkson as a Coach during Season 20 of  The Voice  when Clarkson was briefly ill.

Did Kelsea Ballerini win The Voice ?

Unfortunately, none of Ballerini's six artists were crowned as winners of The Voice Season 15.

The honor instead went to Team Kelly's Chevel Shepherd .

Kelsea Ballerini's Debut Album The First Time

Ballerini's debut studio album, the platinum-certified The First Time, was lightning in a bottle, instantly skyrocketing to the top of the country charts. Ballerini's honey alto register and pop-country beats were infectious, with her lead single "Love Me Like You Mean It" cementing the country songwriter as an artist to watch. Her subsequent smash singles "Peter Pan" and "Dibs" further pushed the needle, launching Ballerini into superstardom.

"Peter Pan" reached Number 1 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts in 2016, making Ballerini the first solo female country music artist to top both country music charts simultaneously . The combo of "Dibs" and "Peter Pan" also led Ballerini to become only the fifth solo female country music artist to score back-to-back Number 1 singles in history. 

"Peter Pan" also scored Ballerini her first-ever Grammy Award nomination . 

Kelsea Ballerini's Sophomore Studio Album  Unapologetically

Upon the immense success of her debut album, all eyes were on Ballerini for her next release, 2017's Unapologetically. Standout hits from the album included "Legends," "I Hate Love Songs," and "Miss Me More."

“It starts with a breakup, and it goes into growing up, and then it goes into falling in love," Ballerini told Rolling Stone in November 2017. "When I was listening to my favorite demos I had when it was time to start making a record, I realized that I had talked about my life, and my life has really come in three sections in the last two and a half years. And that was loss, it was life, and then it was love. So that’s what the album ended up being.”

Following Unapologetically , Ballerini began working on her third studio album, dropping the lead single "homecoming queen?" in September 2019.

The March 2020 release of Ballerini's eponymous third album complicated plans for touring, but that didn't stop her from virtually connecting with her fans over the new music.

“I’m finding a lot of peace in putting some music into the world right now, especially music that talks about finding the value in ‘home’ and friends,” Ballerini told Rolling Stone following the album's release. “We need to find comfort in both of those things through this strange, uneasy time.”

In September 2020, Ballerini dropped a counterpart album to  Kelsea called Ballerini , which featured stripped-down versions of the third album's tracklist.

Kelsea Ballerini's Fourth Album SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Ballerini released her fourth studio album, SUBJECT TO CHANGE, in September 2022 and its lead single, "HEARTFIRST," was an instant hit. She performed the track live for the first time while co-hosting the 2022 CMT Music Award, and the single scored Ballerini a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

“I loved the idea of going, ‘Change is inevitable.’ And we’ve all as humankind experienced that heavily the last couple of years," Ballerini told Rolling Stone after the album drop. "So what if I make the theme of this album the idea of just blissfully accepting that tomorrow is probably going to look different than today? And instead of being terrified and looking at it like it’s this monster under the bed, what if I just live now? Sometimes that looks messy, and sometimes that looks confusing, and sometimes that looks really amazing and beautiful.”

Kelsea Ballerini's EP  Rolling Up the Welcome Mat

Ballerini dropped a surprise EP in February 2023  with six new tracks and an accompanying short film film in which she starred. The album was created following her separation from her now-ex-husband Morgan Evans, she said at the time. 

“Rolling Up the Welcome Mat was how I processed everything,” Ballerini told Rolling Stone in February 2023. “It’s the way I got my feelings out of my body and heart and put them to music, which is the purest way I could’ve handled it.”  

Kelsea Ballerini's Poetry Book  Feel Your Way Through

Ballerini book of poems,  Feel Your Way Through , was published in November 2021. Alongside her book release, Ballerini launched the Feel Your Way Through Charitable Fund to help raise money for non-profits centered around mental health.

Country titan Dolly Parton  later recruited Ballerini to record her audiobook for Run, Rose, Run . The novel, co-written with James Patterson in 2022, is centered around a young singer-songwriter on the rise (and run), making Ballerini a perfect casting choice.

Kelsea Ballerini's Grand Ole Opry Induction

Every country singer dreams of one day joining the Grand Ole Opry , and Ballerini was elated to cross off the bucket list achievement in April 2019 . The "Peter Pan" songstress was inducted by fellow country music legend Carrie Underwood .

With her induction, Ballerini became the Opry's youngest member in its sprawling history since its founding in 1925.

"I’ve said it a million times, but I really do feel like anyone who has a respect and a love for country music — if you’re an artist, or even as a songwriter — you want your story to land you on that stage at some point," Ballerini told Rolling Stone in May 2019. "When I first signed my record deal, that’s what I told the label: “This is on the very, very tippity-top of my goal list. I want to play on that stage.”

Ballerini's roster of awards and accolades is astounding and a testament to her beloved songwriting skills and mesmerizing talent.

She already has four Grammy Award nominations and has taken home two CMA Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, and an iHeartRadio Music Award honor for Best New Artist.

“When these things happen, it really is a reminder for me that I’m in the right place,” Ballerini told Rolling Stone in April 2022. “When those full circles close it’s like the universe or God’s way of saying, ‘You’re on the right path. Keep going.’”

In 2017, Ballerini also landed on  Forbes' 30 Under 30 in the music category, and in 2022 was named as the newest face of CoverGirl .

She made her Saturday Night Live debut in March 2023, dazzling the audience with her performances of Rolling Up the Welcome Mat 's "Blindsided" and "Penthouse."

On Sunday, Ballerini, 30, took to her Instagram Story to mark the milestone. Tagging her Outer Banks beau, 31, Ballerini shared a sweet picture of the two embracing on a boat at sunset.

"year and a half lovin the heck outta you," the country singer penned alongside a white heart.

The couple has showcased their love since the beginning. The two celebrated their first anniversary in January , made their first-ever Met Gala red carpet appearance together in May, and have shared many heartfelt moments, such as handwritten love letters , along the way.

Stokes reposted the story of the new coach of season 27's The Voice , writing "my human," with a red heart. On Monday, he posted an Instagram carousel that was just as sweet.

"my woman, dogs & family❤️," he captioned the post.

The carousel included several pictures of Ballerini and Stokes. The cover photo was of the lovebirds holding hands while walking on the beach. The second photo was the same sweet sunset picture Ballerini posted.

In the comments, fans speculated that the beach photos were taken on set while Stokes was filming season 4 of Outer Banks .

No matter where the duo are, they certainly look good together.

Adam Levine Returning to ‘The Voice’ on Season 27 Coaching Panel Alongside Kelsea Ballerini

The Voice Season 26 is still a few months away, but the musical competition series is already eager for Season 27. On Wednesday, NBC unveiled the coaches panel for the season, set to premiere in Spring 2025, with a mix of new and familiar faces.

Kelsea Ballerini will make her official coaching debut after appearing on The Voice as a battle advisor during season 16 in 2019. The country musician made another appearance on the series in 2021 when she filled in for Kelly Clarkson for a brief stint during season 20. During season 15, Ballerini became the first-ever fifth coach, leading a group of eliminated hopefuls in “The Comeback Stage.”

Season 27 will also mark the grand return of veteran coach Adam Levine . The Maroon 5 frontman departed from the show in 2019 after 16 seasons, the second-longest run in The Voice history. Blake Shelton held the longest streak, remaining on the series for 23 seasons.

One of the original coaches on The Voice is making a return to the show.

Adam Levine will take a spot in the red swivel chair for the NBC talent competition’s 27th season in spring 2025. The Maroon 5 frontman departed The Voice in 2019 after serving as a coach for the show’s first 16 seasons.

Ballerini has appeared on The Voice before, as an adviser to Kelly Clarkson in season 16 and as a fill-in coach when Clarkson was absent for a few episodes. She is a four-time Grammy nominee and multiple CMA and ACM award winner.

Legend will take the fall 2024 Voice season off after serving as a coach for each of the last two editinos of the show (he also coached singers in seasons 16-22). Bublé will make his first appearance as a coach in the upcoming fall run alongside fellow newcomer Snoop Dogg and returnees Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani.

“ The Voice ” will return for its 27th season next spring, with new additions to its coaching team. Original coach Adam Levine will reclaim his red chair, alongside new coach Kelsea Ballerini and returning coaches Michael Bublé and John Legend.

Michael Bublé and John Legend are also taking their red chairs for another spin, coaching a fresh crop of rising artists looking to be the next voice. The spring cycle boasts back-to-back seasons for Bublé and marks Legend’s 10th season.

Keith Urban, Dasha, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll perform at CMA Fest in Nashville

Keith Urban took to the stage at Spotify House during CMA Fest with Dasha to perform for the assembled fans.

The pop-up venue is located at Blake Shelton 's Ole Red in Nashville and has seen the likes of Jelly Roll and Machine Gun Kelly grace its stage while Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Bryan held court for audiences at Nissan Stadium.

Billed as the 'Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience,' CMA Fest features hundreds of performances in Nashville from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9. 

Singer Cody Johnson welcomed 70,000 fans to Nissan Stadium where he asked: 'Are you ready for some country music tonight?

As the clock ticked toward midnight, Bryan took the stage and asked the audience if they were: 'Ready to take this into the next morning?'

Bryan then launched into a setlist filled with hits including My Kind of Night and Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Everyday.

Dasha took the stage to deliver an upbeat two song set including her global hit Austin. 

'I wrote this song last year and it changed my life,' she said to the audience. 

Jon Pardi and Clint Black offered fans a solid shot of 90s country while Little Big Town made a surprise appearance with their hit Girl Crush.

Fresh off the announcement that she's joining The Voice as a coach, Ballerini delivered a blistering set filled with such hits as Love Me Like You Mean It, Dibs and Yeah Boy. 

The Knoxville native acknowledged that her life is 'unrecognizable' from what it was two years ago and said she's 'had some hard things to walk through.'

However, she maintained, 'I’ve never been so proud to just be exactly where I’m at.” 

Cody Johnson celebrated his native Texas with a tribute to the Charlie Daniels Band. He also brought Jelly Roll onstage to perform their duet Whiskey Bent. 

Urban is coming up on his 18th wedding anniversary with his wife  Nicole Kidman and he still gets a thrill when she's in the audience watching him perform. 

Keith said that when Nicole attends one of his concerts or performances, 'it fires me up a bit more,' adding: 'I try to impress her,' he told People magazine recently.'

He's gearing up for his 10-date Las Vegas residency at the Fontainebleau’s BleuLive Theater. He plays five dates each in October 2024 and February 2025.

Like his wife, Urban said Vegas audiences make him 'prove his worth' which he looks forward to.
