The Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2023 is coming to a town near you, and this year host Janette Manrara has promised the show will be bigger than ever before.
As Strictly Come Dancing 2022 comes to a close in December, fans of the show know that the live tour traditionally follows the end of the series and will showcase all the breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes and fantastic live music that we see in BBC One’s long-running show.
The 2023 tour will be directed once again by the A-MAZ-ING Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood and will feature many of the celebrities and professional dancers from the current series, together with the Strictly live band.
Audiences around the UK can experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage, getting the chance to not only watch the stars in action as they perform roof-raising routines, but also audiences will once again have the power to decide who wins the Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show.
Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 dates
Opening at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday, January 20, the live show will then waltz around the UK to some of the biggest entertainment venues including Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the AO Arena in Manchester, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, London’s O2 Arena and the SSE Arena in Belfast, before culminating at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Sunday, February 12.

Each performance of the tour will also host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens either side of the stage so that attendees can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.
Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023: which celebrities are taking part?
As always the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 will see some of the biggest names from Strictly Come Dancing 2022 return to the dance floor... and the first three celebrities have already been announced.
Actor Will Mellor ( Broadchurch , Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps ) will be taking part, along with Paralympic swimming champion and broadcaster Ellie Simmonds and Kiss FM radio host, TV presenter and DJ Tyler West.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Will Mellor said: " Strictly has been one of the most memorable and emotional journeys I’ve ever been on! Stepping out of my comfort zone and being a part of this massive show is something I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to put on my dancing shoes and go around the country to perform on huge stages in front of thousands of people who have watched and supported us. Bring on the tour!!”
Ellie Simmonds added: “ Strictly was such an incredible life-changing and emotional experience for me — it gave me a huge confidence boost and the feeling that anything is possible! So to be able to continue my journey on the tour next year is going to be amazing. I can't wait!"
Tyler West, whose time on the TV series came to an end in the Blackpool special said: “I never realized how much dance would change my life but I can’t express how much I’ve loved it and fully embraced this opportunity to learn to dance with the best dance partner anyone could ask for in Dianne! I am so happy my Strictly journey isn't over quite yet and I can’t wait to relive some of our favorite dances and live like a pop star on tour performing for audiences each night! I am buzzing to get on the road with the gang.”
Also joining the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 are Molly Rainford and Hamza Yassin.
Wildlife cameraman Hamza, who is currently one of the Strictly favourites to win the show, said of the tour: “ Strictly has changed my life in ways I never imagined, so to be doing the tour on top of it all is a dream come true.
“I’ve heard the tour audiences are unparalleled, so I’ll be relishing the atmosphere every night, and I’m so excited to share that experience with my fellow dancers — not to mention the judges.”
Actress, singer and TV presenter Molly also commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Strictly Live Tour . Performing for the huge arena crowds across the UK is going to be an incredible experience.
“I’m really looking forward to continuing my amazing Strictly journey and getting out on the road to meet all the fans.”

Strictly Come Dancing Live announces further celebrities joining the 2023 UK arena tour
Two more celebrities have been announced to join the scintillating line-up for next year’s hotly-anticipated Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour: singer, actor and presenter Molly Rainford and wildlife cameraman and Countryfile presenter Hamza Yassin.
They will join previously announced Will Mellor, Ellie Simmonds and Tyler West for 32 sparkle-filled shows kicking off in January.
Molly Rainford said: “I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the Strictly Live Tour, performing for the huge arena crowds across the UK is going to be an incredible experience. I’m really looking forward to continuing my amazing Strictly journey and getting out on the road to meet all the fans."
Hamza Yassin said: “Strictly has changed my life in ways I never imagined, so to be doing the tour on top of it all is a dream come true! The celebrities and professionals will be joined on the road by Strictly TV judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke – who is part of the tour for the first time – with the sensational Janette Manrara as host.
Opening at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on 20 January, the tour will then waltz around the UK to some of the biggest entertainment venues: Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the AO Arena Manchester, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, London’s O2 Arena, the SSE Arena Belfast, before culminating at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 12 February.

Yep, the Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour is back for 2023 – and despite the BBC show’s 20th series only just kicking off on TV, fans will surely want to snap up tickets in advance.

When do Strictly Live Tour tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on general sale tomorrow (Friday, September 30) at 9am , with London O2 dates available to purchase via AXS .

Pre-sale tickets cost between £41.95 up to £109.50 – depending on where you wanted to be seated in the arena.
When searching for Leeds tickets during the pre-sale, we can see the lowest costing £42.50, while one Nottingham date showed £53.50 as the lowest available price.
The full list of Strictly Live Tour 2023 dates and venues
Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will travel across the UK, reaching locations in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland throughout January and February 2023.
The show begins in Birmingham, travelling to Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield – before travelling further north to Newcastle-upon-Tyne from there.
The show then spends three nights at The O2 in London, before crossing the water to Belfast’s SSE Arena, and closing with three nights in Glasgow at the OVO Hydro.

Who is in the Strictly Live Tour line-up?
It Takes Two host Janette Manrara will be back to host the live show, while Anton Du Beke will appear alongside Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood in arenas for the very first time .
We don’t yet know the full 2023 line-up, though, as Strictly has only just landed back on our screens.
There are 15 celebrities starting the competition, from leaderboard-topping soap star Will Mellor and Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton , to Sax singer and The X Factor star Fleur East.
However, a handful of this year’s contestants will likely appear on the tour, along with professional dancers.

The full line-up of celebrities and professional dancers for next year’s hotly anticipated Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour have been announced. TV and radio presenter Fleur East dancing with Vito Coppola , and TV presenter Helen Skelton dancing with tour partner Kai Widdrington complete the list of seven sensational stars who will foxtrot across the UK for 32 sparkle-filled shows kicking off in January 2023. They will join Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu , Ellie Simmonds and Nikita Kuzmin , Tyler West and Dianne Buswell, and this year’s Strictly champions Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal .
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Fleur East said: “As a huge Strictly fan, being part of the TV competition has been an unbelievable experience and I’m absolutely over the moon to have the chance to get back into those fabulous sequinned outfits for the live tour next year!”

Taking place in nine cities across the UK , 2023’s Strictly Come Dancing - The Live Tour will see actor Will Mellor , singer-songwriter Fleur East , and former Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmonds in the line-up.
All the celebrity dancers have partnered with professionals to compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy in a series of performances.
The Strictly tour will also see celebrity judges Shirley Ballas , Craig Revel Horwood , and Anton Du Beke return to share their expert opinions on the performances.
Just like TV audiences in the show, arena audiences will vote via text to decide who wins the Glitterball Trophy, while the judges will also score each performance.
The tour will be presented by Janette Manrara, who has previously been the face of Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
Show favourites Dave Arch & The Strictly Come Dancing Band will also be taking part in shows across the country.

When is the Strictly Tour 2023?
Since its debut in 2008, Strictly Come Dancing — The Live Tour has taken the glitz and glamour of the dancing show across the UK and Ireland.
Here’s a full list of every tour date and location below, but in some places, there will be two shows on that day; for example, on February 12, there are two shows, one at 1.30pm and one at 6.30pm, at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.

Although the Ticketmaster pre-sale has already started, as of 9am on Thursday, September 29, there’s still a chance to get your hands on tickets via general sale on Friday, September 30, at 9am.

The first three celebrities who will be joining 2023’s hotly-anticipated Strictly Come Dancing Live UK arena tour are announced today: Actor Will Mellor ( Broadchurch , Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps ); Paralympic swimming champion and broadcaster Ellie Simmonds ; and Kiss FM radio host, TV presenter and DJ Tyler West will be foxtrotting their way across the country for 31 sparkle-filled shows kicking off in January.
They will be joined on tour by Strictly TV judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke, who is appearing on the arena tour for the first time. The sensational Janette Manrara will host. Further casting announcements will be made soon.

The host with the most, Janette Manrara has her cue cards at the ready to guide audiences through a feast of breathtaking dance routines and incredible live music, performed by a cast of celebrities and their professional dance partners, together with the Strictly Live Band.
The magnificent dance floor will dazzle with the exquisite costumes and first class production values which Strictly is known and loved for, giving fans of all ages the perfect opportunity to extend that special Strictly magic into the new year. And if that is not enough, the live show audience can play judge at each performance as their text votes ultimately decides who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

For the first time ever, the sensational Motsi Mabuse will be joining the fabulous Shirley Ballas , the ever-charming Anton Du Beke , and the unforgettable Craig Revel Horwood . Each performance will host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens on either side of the stage so that the audiences can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

From the south...
Avanti West Coast operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.
M&S Bank Arena is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to the venue. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your train ticket.
Most Liverpool city centre bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to M&S Bank Arena.

For all car journeys it's best to follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. Exhibition Centre Liverpool is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly sign posted.
From the North...
Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.
From the South...
Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront.
Flying into Liverpool John Lennon Airport...
A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of M&S Bank Arena, while Manchester’s international airport is just 45 minutes away by car.

There is a spectacular line-up of some of the world’s best professional dancers hitting the road next year for the 2023 official Strictly Come Dancing : The Professionals UK Tour.
It comes in addition to the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2023 , and fans will see a breathtaking show, featuring a 10-strong ensemble of dancers from the smash hit BBC One TV show Strictly Come Dancing, will open at Hull’s Bonus Arena on 2 May and then waltz its way around the UK before culminating at Liverpool’s M&S Arena on 30th May.
