Wilson , known the world over as a founder and the lead singer-songwriter of the barrier-breaking band HEART , is here to stay.

Widely praised among the greatest singers in the history of rock, Ann 's extraordinarily powerful voice has been sending chills down her audience's collective spine for over five decades, earning record sales of more than 35 million, an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame , and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award.

"Barracuda" , "Crazy On You" and "Magic Man" are among the many songs she's written that now reside in the pantheon of rock's greatest hits. "Greed" from 2022's "Fierce Bliss" plays seamlessly alongside the classics in her current live set.

This past year, Ann sang with DISTURBED frontman David Draiman on the duet "Don't Tell Me" from the band's recently released "Divisive" album and lent her voice to Dolly Parton 's forthcoming rock record. From "Dreamboat Annie" to DISTURBED , to Dolly Parton and beyond, Ann Wilson defies genre.

Prior to starting their summer tour, ANN WILSON & TRIPSITTER has been putting the finishing touches on a new album of original material.

This year, Ann brings her show to venues everywhere with the same vigor and verve that she brought that one memorable night in front of LED ZEPPELIN at The Kennedy Center.

Ann Wilson gives it her all onstage in concert.

In the late 1970s and early ’80s, Heart put hit after hit on the airwaves.

“Barracuda,” “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man,” “Alone” and “Dreamboat Annie” are just a few that come to mind.

Now, over 40 years later, singer Ann Wilson is bringing all the singalong songs you know and love from way back when on the road.

From July 14 through Oct. 15, she’ll perform 25 concerts all over North America .

That includes a huge gig at Englewood, NJ’s Bergen Performing Arts Center on Aug. 26 and Albany, NY’s The Egg on Aug. 29.

And based on our findings, tickets are relatively affordable to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee live along with her backing band Tripsitter.

At the time of publication, we found some tickets going for as low as $37 before fees on Vivid Seats.

By our estimation, that’s worth the price of “Barracuda” live.

Want to see Ann Wilson deliver the jams you know and love this year?

Here’s everything you need to know and more.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Ann Wilson 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Ann Wilson set list

Wilson doesn’t just trot out the hits at her live shows.

She also plays songs from her 2022 record as well as a few exciting classic covers.

Want to see what makes the cut?

According to Set List FM , here’s what Wilson has been performing at her concerts this year.

01.) “Even It Up” (Heart song) 02.) “Ruler of the Night” 03.) “Love Alive” (Heart song) 04.) “Isolation” (John Lennon cover) 05.) “Magic Man” (Heart song) 06.) “This is Now” 07.) “Greed” 08.) “Mistral Wind” (Heart song) 09.) “Tripsitter” 10.) “Rain of Hell” 11.) “Immigrant Song” (Led Zeppelin cover) 12.) “Miss One and Only” 13.) “Crazy on You” (Heart song) 14.) “Rusty Robots” 15.) “Straight On” (Heart song) 16.) “Let’s Dance” (David Bowie cover)

17.) “Alone” (i‐Ten cover) 18.) “Going to California” (Led Zeppelin cover) 19.) “Barracuda” (Heart song)

Ann Wilson new music

The 73-year-old classic rocker dropped her solo album “Fierce Bliss” in 2022.

Over 11 tracks, she proves that she’s still capable of switching between heavy rock and heartfelt ballads with ease.

After a few listens, our team can’t get enough of the powerful anthem “Fighten For Life.”

Need to hear “Fierce Bliss” now?

You can find the record in its entirety here .

But wait! There’s more!

This year, Wilson collaborated with Dolly Parton on a cover of “Magic Man.”

Always wondered how that classic would sound with the Leading Lady of Country on vocals?

Now, you can.

All you have to do is click this link .

Nancy Wilson

Wilson’s sister and Heart co-founder toured earlier this year.

For a period of time, the sisters were estranged after Ann’s husband, Dean Wetter, assaulted Nancy’s 16-year-old twin sons in 2016 which led to his arrest.

After three years, they reunited for the 2019 Love Rocks Concert in New York City.

You can read more about the siblings’ relationship here .

These days, Wilson travels with her new band Tripsitter.

The hard rockin’ group has plans to release a new album comprised of original material with Wilson sometime in the near future according to the Hennepin Theatre Trust .

In the meantime, check out a sound check before a recent gig to get a taste of their sound.

Classic rockers on tour in 2023

Fans of music from before the Reagan administration are in luck this year.

Many acts that defined the sound of the ’70s are rockin’ all over the U.S. these next few months.

Here are just five of our favorites that we can’t wait to see live.

•  Stevie Nicks

• Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

• Aerosmith

•  Foreigner

•  Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band

Who else is touring from way back when? Check out our list of the 22 biggest classic rockers in 2022 here to find out.

Ann Wilson Is Not Retiring

The announcement of Ann Wilson's 2023 summer tour came nearly a year after she declared that "retirement" is not part of her vocabulary.

Speaking with Ultimate Classic Rock and Culture , Wilson was asked whether she did not have plans for retirement anytime soon. The publication also noted that the singer was still fully invested in the music industry.

"Yeah, I mean, the idea of retirement is nowhere in my comprehension. I don't know what I'd do, because I've been doing music since I was, like, 14 years old," she went on. "So it's a calling with me more than a job that you retire from and then move to Margaritaville. I'm just not made like that."

Lainey Wilson Concert Tour 2023: Dates & Tickets

By Maxim Mower

Lainey Wilson enjoyed a stellar 2022, and she's taking that momentum with her on the road in 2023. She's embarking on a nationwide Country With A Flare tour, which kicked off on January 4.

It will take the two-time CMA winner and Yellowstone star to Wyoming, New York, Arizona, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida and more. Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the immense success of Lainey's latest album, Bell Bottom Country , the tour swiftly sold out.

In mid-March, after a stellar run of packed-out shows and an unforgettable appearance at the UK and Ireland's C2C Festival 2023, Lainey Wilson confirmed she'd be playing her first ever headlining show at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut .

In April, Lainey announced another she'd be ticking another venue off her bucket list, with a headlining performance lined up at Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 26.

Here, you'll find all the latest updates and show announcements for Lainey Wilson's 2023 Concert Tour as they are announced.

Lainey Wilson recently gave ticket-holders a taste of what they can expect on tour with an electric performance of ‘Heart Like A Truck’ at Nashville's Big Bash on New Year's Eve .

Shortly after this, on January 2, Lainey sang her 2021 ode to Louisiana, ‘LA’ , while standing atop the Louisiana Travel Celebration Riverboat during Pasadena's annual Rose Parade.

Her 2023 tour will feature an array of anthems from her acclaimed 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country , from the quietly addictive ‘Live Off’ to the small-town anthem, ‘Hillbilly Hippie’. Fans will also be excited to hear Lainey perform her first No. 1 hit, ‘What A Man Oughta Know’.

Any avid watchers of the hit TV series, Yellowstone , will be keen for the Louisiana native to perform ‘New Friends’ and ‘Smell Like Smoke’, both of which have featured in the Season 5 soundtrack . As well as playing a musical role in the neo-Western series, Lainey also made her on-screen debut in the latest season as a new addition to the cast, Abby.

The Country With A Flare tour, which is sponsored by Stella Rosa Wine Future Is Female , didn't take long to sell out. In an Instagram post, Lainey expressed her gratitude for fans' support of her first headlining tour, and underlined that they should expect fireworks from her set.

Each of the originally announced dates will be opened by Ben Chapman, while a number will also feature Meg McRee and Leah Blevins.

Due to high demand, Lainey added an extra show at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia. This additional set will be supported by Colby Acuff and Tyler Dial. More recently, after The Tabernacle show sold out, Lainey announced another date in Atlanta, Georgia, at Coca-Cola Roxy on April 14, which will also feature Ben Chapman and Harper O‘Neill.

After the Country With A Flare tour concludes at the end of March, Lainey will then join up with Luke Combs for the US and Canadian leg of his 2023 World Tour . Lainey previously supported Luke on his 2022 US dates, and alongside Jordan Davis and Danielle Bradbury, pranked the ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ hitmaker on the final night of the tour.

However, Luke isn't the only big-name headliner that'll receive support from Lainey Wilson in 2023, with Lainey set to open for Eric Church on a series of his Outsiders Revival tour dates in August.

Lainey will also take the stage at a slew of festivals in 2023, including the UK's C2C Festival in March, as well as Barefoot Country Music Fest , Country Jam USA , Carolina Country Music Fest and more.

So, Is It a Tour? Heart Books More Concerts, First Shows Since 2019

wilson tour 23

Sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, in an undated photo, via Heart’s Facebook page

They’re not calling it a reunion—and haven’t announced a tour, yet—but sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson have revealed many more Heart concerts. What makes them of particular interest is that unlike the previous three, which all took place in December 2023, the latest shows are for Spring and Summer 2024. On Jan. 18, it was announced that they’ll be performing during the first weekend of Jazz Fest in late April. They’ll also be playing the Tons of Rock festival in Oslo, Norway, in late June as well as several dates on the Def Leppard – Journey Summer Stadium Tour in the U.S. It had been a month since the trio of December shows—all on the U.S. west coast—were announced. On Oct. 24, the sisters first made the surprise announcement of their return with a Dec. 31 show to be held in Seattle, Wash. That celebration, from “Seattle’s own,” will ring in the New Year with special guest Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin’s Evening. Tickets for the U.S. shows are on sale here .

The sisters shared the stage on Oct. 10 when Nancy Wilson was a surprise guest at Ann Wilson’s concert for a brief Heart reunion in Santa Rosa, Calif. As the stunned audience applauded, Nancy strode across the stage and planted a kiss on her sister’s cheeck, as the crowd roared its approval. The pair performed Heart ‘s classic rock favorite, “Barracuda.” That was the first time that the sisters had performed together on stage since 2019. In an extensive 2021 interview with Best Classic Bands, Nancy Wilson said, “Live Nation has put a big offer on the table for Heart for 2022. That will be a really fun thing to look forward to! Ann and I are both up for it.”

Regrettably, things changed, and it never took place as the sisters again toured separately in 2022.

Watch them perform “Barracuda” on October 10, 2023

In 2016, the sisters had a falling out over a family dispute. Before Nancy and Ann reunited as Heart for their big “Love Alive” tour in 2019, they performed together in New York City for a benefit concert.

“We’re sisters, first and foremost,” Nancy Wilson said in our interview, “and that’s the most important story to tell about Heart. It’s not really a business between me and Ann. It shouldn’t really be a business. That [doesn’t] help the sisterhood. That’s where the blood is thicker than water. That’s the biggest joy to celebrate.” She turns 70 on March 16, 2024. Older sister Ann turned 73 on June 19.

Ann Wilson Announces 2023 Tour

Ann Wilson Announces 2023 Tour | Society Of Rock Videos

via Ann Wilson of Heart / Youtube

Heart singer Ann Wilson will embark on a solo tour this summer in North America.

Wilson is set to launch her upcoming trek on July 7 in Toronto and conclude on Aug. 30 in Syracuse, New York. Tickets are now available for sale to the general public.

In April 2022, the rocker released her latest solo album, Fierce Bliss. Now, she and her band Tripsitter are reportedly recording new materials for a new album. While most recently, she appeared on Disturbed’s “Don’t Tell Me,” and together with her sister Nancy Wilson, they received lifetime achievement awards at the Recording Academy’s Special Merit Awards in February.

In a previous interview with UCR , Wilson noted her plans to continue making music. She stated:

“The idea of retirement is nowhere in my comprehension. “I don’t know what I’d do, because I’ve been doing music since I was, like, 14 years old. So it’s a calling with me more than a job that you retire from and then move to Margaritaville. I’m just not made like that.”

Steven Wilson announces The Overview Tour for 2025, his first solo tour for six years

Steven Wilson will release his new solo album The Overview ahead of the live dates

Steven Wilson

Steven Wilson  has announced details of his first live tour since Porcupine Tree 's outdoor shows last year, and his first solo tour dates – barring a one-off appearance at Hackney's EartH venue to launch last year's The Harmony Codex – since 2019.

The Overview Tour 2025 takes the name of Wilson's upcoming studio album The Overview , a concept album that features just two lengthy progressive rock pieces, which will be released in time for the tour.

The tour will see Wilson starting in Sweden in May and ends in Spain in June and includes six dates in the UK including two nights at the London Palladium.

"I'm thrilled to be able to announce a Steven Wilson tour for 2025, my first for six years," says Wilson. "The Overview Tour will be an audio-visual experience based around a forthcoming new release of the same name: a space-themed album that features just two very long pieces.

"I’ll also be playing music from The Harmony Codex for the first time as well as songs from all of my previous records. I’m incredibly happy to be performing again with my inspirational solo band, and we have a lot of lost time to make up. I look forward to seeing you at what will be an epic evening!"

Ticket presale starts at 9am on Tuesday June 25 and general sale starts at 10am on Friday June 28.

Tickets will be available from the Steven Wilson store .

Lukas Nelson Delivers Stunning Cover Of Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind” While Filling In For Him At Outlaw Music Festival

wilson tour 23

The show must go on.

And it certainly did…

This weekend, Willie Nelson was slated to take the stage as part of the opening weekend of the 2024 edition of his Outlaw Music Festival Tour in Alpharetta, Georgia and Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina along with Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Celisse.

Very unfortunately for fans attending the shows (myself included), the 91-year old icon was feeling under the weather , and per doctor’s orders, was told to rest over the weekend and was unable to perform at the first run of shows. Of course, I believe in protecting Willie at all costs, so it was very understandable that he should rest since he was sick.

But luckily for all of us, Willie has an incredibly talented son who is an artist in his own right, Lukas Nelson , who filled in for this father and absolutely delivered in every way possible.

Backed by Willie’s longtime band, affectionately known as the Family Band including longtime harmonica player Mickey Raphael, Waylon Payne and the rest of the crew, Lukas tore through the set covering all of the classics like “Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground,” “Funny How Time Slips Away,” “On the Road Again” and many more, and it was captivating and downright incredible to get to see Willie’s son singing so many of his most beloved songs.

If you’ve followed Whiskey Riff for any amount of time, then you probably know I’m a huge fan of Lukas and his music , and to say that he came by his musical talent honestly would be a massive understatement. Like his father, he’s a wizard on the guitar and has a voice that filled out the entire amphitheater and then some.

He has the rare ability to hold the crowd in the palm of his hand with just the strum of an acoustic guitar (sound familiar?), and it’s very special to see him embrace his father and his legacy, while building his own name and doing his own thing with music, and I think that’s a huge part of what makes him such a special, and very rare, talent.

But of course, my favorite part of the night was hearing him sing Willie’s hit “Always On My Mind,” which has long been one of my all-time favorite songs and it you could quite literally hear a pen drop during this part (and most of) the show.

If this doesn’t bring the chills, I don’t know what will:

@spaseycasey Lukas Nelson covering @WillieNelson ♬ original sound – spaseycasey

If there was any lingering disappointment in the venue that Willie wasn’t there, it was pretty much gone after Lukas played the first song. Of course, I wish more than anything he could’ve been there, but this turned out to be such a special and unique show that I will certainly never forget.

And you have to see him cover “Crazy” while you’re here too… while they obviously get comparisons often in terms of their singing voices, their similarities are never more apparent than when Lukas sings his father’s songs (and I mean that in the absolute best way possible):

@spaseycasey Lukas Nelson singing Willie’s “Crazy” while filling in at Outlaw Music Festival in Charlotte🥹 ♬ original sound – spaseycasey

I can’t say it enough, if you aren’t familiar with Lukas’ music already, you have to do yourself a favor and check it out. He recently announced the hiatus of his longtime band , Promise of the Real, and is seemingly continuing a solo career that I am very much looking forward to.

And while we’re on the subject of Willie and Lukas, if you’ve never heard their duet of Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe,” you are sorely missing out and it’s time to change that right now:

Scottie Scheffler wins PGA Tour event after climate protesters run onto green

Six people protesting climate change stormed the 18th green while the leaders were lining up their putts on the final hole of regulation at the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship on Sunday, delaying the finish for about five minutes.

The protesters sprayed white and red powder, leaving stains on the grass before Scottie Scheffler , Tom Kim and Akshay Bhatia finished their rounds. At least one member of the group was wearing a white T-shirt with the words “NO GOLF ON A DEAD PLANET” in black lettering on the front.

Scottie Scheffler won the championship in a playoff, waiting out a disruption for his sixth victory of the year. That’s the most wins in one PGA Tour season since Tiger Woods had six in 2009. And Scheffler, the world’s top-ranked player, still has two months to go.

“I was scared for my life,” Bhatia said about the protesters after finishing in a tie for fifth — four strokes behind Scheffler, who earned his sixth victory of the year. “I didn’t even really know what was happening. … But thankfully the cops were there and kept us safe, because that’s, you know, that’s just weird stuff.”

After the protesters were tackled by police and taken off, Scheffler left a potential 26-foot clincher from the fringe on the right edge of the cup, then tapped in for par. Kim, who trailed by one stroke heading into the final hole, sank a 10-foot birdie putt to tie Scheffler and send the tournament to a sudden-death playoff.

Kim said the protest took his mind off the pressure.

“It kind of slowed things down,” he said. “It took the meaning of the putt away for a second. Because for the past 17 and a half holes all you’re thinking about is golf, and suddenly when that happens your mind goes into a complete — like, you’re almost not even playing golf anymore. I thought it was a dream for a second.”

The crowd surrounding the 18th green heckled the protesters by yelling profanities and cheered the police who intervened.

After the players putted out in regulation, workers with leaf blowers came out to clean off the remaining powder, and the hole location was moved for the playoff, which began on No. 18. Scheffler beat Kim with a par on the first playoff hole.

“They left a lot of marks on the greens, which is not right for us players — especially when two guys are trying to win a golf tournament,” Kim said. “But I’m very grateful for the tour and the tour security for handling that really well and making us players feel a lot safer.”

Scheffler’s victory came a few weeks after prosecutors dropped criminal charges against him on May 29, less than two weeks after he was arrested outside the PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

Scheffler was initially charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding signals from officers directing traffic when he was arrested outside Louisville’s Valhalla Golf Club, which was hosting the tournament.

Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell told a judge his office couldn’t move forward with the charges against the world’s top golfer based on the  evidence  and he moved to dismiss the case.

After the charges were dropped, Scheffler  said on social media  that he didn’t hold any ill will toward the detective who arrested him.
