Moses Sumney

Moses was amazing. Very enigmatic but still approachable, and he had a lot of fun with the crowd. The performance was incredible, his voice is truly something to behold. I've listened to "Worth It" a million times but still got chills when he hit the high note. Would highly recommend seeing Moses live, especially before he gets really famous and expensive to see.

Absolutely the best concert I was ever at, honestly I don't think any other artist could top this. She had such an incredible presence on stage, every eye was on her and her wonderful team. Dua and her dancers moved gracefully and fluidly, with bursts of power and energy. Her vocals were insanely beautiful, every word was sung with such passion and love. Her grand finale of IDGAF and New Rules was simply amazing, with breathtaking choreography and stunning visuals behind her. The band sounded great and the backup vocalists and dancers were on point for every minute. Without a doubt in my mind it was the very best live performance I have ever seen, and I don't think anything in the future will ever compare to it. Dua Lipa, Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Monday 9th April 2018.

Ethereal, hopeful, humble, powerful... just absolute ART. The show was focused on everyone, a celebration of culture, love, identities, and struggle. I love that she made it more about the group on stage as a whole than just her- Tons of stage presence nonetheless. Beautiful band, beautiful backup singers. The lighting was amazing and the stage was so well done and simple. Solange holds her own and I cannot wait to see her when she comes back. You can tell she was feeling it when she got down on the left side of the stage and started singing to us, beautiful moment that reminds me why I love going to live shows/concerts. Flying Lotus was an absolute trip as well. I wish she would've brought Kelela out on this date... Scales is such a beautiful song and I'd of loved to see it live with them two.

Literally the best thing I have ever seen. The whole band sounded so tight, the light show was insane and they really played to the audience. Two full sets of material plus an encore was probably more than any of us expected. They played so many songs that I wanted to hear, even some really old material which was so unexpected. The whole audience was buzzing with energy and love for a band that are so good, but really don't tour enough. I'd waited 10 years for a chance to see them and now that I have, I'd have waited another 10 if I knew it was going to be that perfect. It was a privilege to be in that room and witness something so beautiful.

Arcade Fire

They say perfection doesn't exist, well that's wrong when it comes to Arcade Fire. The show was perfect, almost surreal- definitely the concert of the year by far. The set list on the Wednesday show was as of it was made for me, playing songs I never thought I would hear live, it was an emotional experience. The lighting, costumes, music transitions, props was amazing, and the boxing type ring stage was incredibly clever, allowing them to be closer to the fans and yet providing a different show on every side. Words can't explain what I felt during and after the concert, it was playful, clever, emotional, energetic- Such an amazing band, I'm so glad I found them- I don't know how I was alive before finding them. They have such an incredible stage presence, I really truly recommend seeing them if you have the chance- they unite all ages and create magic and unity.

loreena-panache’s profile image

Absolutely incredible! The music sounded amazing live, not like anything I've heard before. Jónsi Birgisson's voice is incredible live also, even earning applause from the crowd for the length of some of the notes he pulled off. The visuals were stunning. The lights and background of the stage were beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience and will absolutely be seeing them again if I get the opportunity!

Music artists

For new users looking to follow their favorite bands and performers, our Artists pages are often the best place to start.

Whether you're on our site, or using our free app for iPhone and Android, the Songkick artists search engine is the fastest and simplest way to keep track of who's doing what right now. Be the first to learn which acts are touring, when they might be playing a venue near you, and how to get tickets for any future shows you like the sound of.

Looking to discover someone new? Hey, you’re our kind of music fan. That's why we've also included upcoming Live Stream Concerts alongside our artist searches, meaning you can easily schedule a more casual drop-in from the comfort of your couch.

Since launching our first app back in 2007, you guys - the fans, the concert-goers, the musical explorers - have been at the very heart of everything we do here. Our dream and our drive was always to bring Songkick members closer than ever before to the sounds they love, and the people who create them. Simply put, we pride ourselves on being your direct link to the greatest music artists on the planet.

Who are they, exactly? Well, according to our members, that changes almost by the hour...so let's talk about how Songkick keeps you in the loop.

Best live artists

A quick glance at our Most Popular Artists chart might tell you a few key things about the sorts of music fans we vibe with. For starters, it shows just how varied our members' tastes are. Pop, rock, dance, hip-hop, indie/alt and R&B all feature heavily, alongside a whole bunch of underground genres and rising scenes.

No two of you are quite the same - and frankly, we love to see it! Any time you check in, our 'most popular artists worldwide' and 'trending artists this week' leaderboards always read like a line-up for the greatest, most diverse live festival on Earth.

Among the top searches and best-selling music artists on our global roster, you might find anyone from Rhianna, Coldplay, Eminem and Ed Sheeran, through to Drake, U2, Kanye West,

Maroon 5, Beyoncé, The Midnight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, Justin Bieber - and that's barely looking outside the top 20.

After all, if the weekly race for a spot on our most popular charts tells us anything, it's that the whole concept of 'best live bands' is a tricky one to pin down. Everybody's looking for a completely different type of experience, every night of the year.

That's another thing we love about our users: you're incredible at keeping us on our toes. In return, we’ve made it our mission to help keep you on yours.

Find and follow your favorite artists on Songkick

When people talk about the 'best live bands in the world', a few big names will reliably come up time and time again. Just as crucially, there'll always be a good handful of newcomers, hot tips and total curveballs in there too.

For us and our members alike, that's a huge part of what keeps the live concert scene so fresh and exciting. There's nothing quite like the thrill of discovering a new favorite artist you'd previously never even heard of - and when that discovery involves a performer blowing you away with an incredible live show or streamed concert, the feeling is enhanced tenfold.

Songkick started out with the goal of helping you capture that moment as often as possible. Now, more than a decade into this, it's 100% what we're still about today.

New members visiting our site or downloading the app can use our powerful search tools to stay ahead of the game. NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 21: Harry Styles performs onstage during Harry Styles: Live On Tour - New York ...

It’s been a rough year for live music, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

The sudden halt of live music in 2020 as the coronavirus took hold was devastating for music fans. Artists and fans alike lost out on over a year of the live music experience as the virus spread and many venues closed their doors. The touring industry took such a big financial hit that many live venues shut down permanently, and artists releasing new music had to promote solely online. Thankfully, the live music community is slowly being rebuilt as vaccines roll out. Everyone from major artists to indie artists are gearing up to finally hit the road once again. The industry is still on shaky ground, so many tours are being delayed until 2022, but the show will go on. These 12 artists are ready to rock the stage and head out on tour.

Some artists who have confirmed tours are playing brand new, recently-released music. For example, Kacey Musgraves announced a brand new tour on Aug. 30 and will be playing music from her new album, Star-Crossed . On the other hand, some of these tours have been in the works for a long time. The Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, and Dua Lipa all had to reschedule tours , so the chance to play for fans will be extra special this time around.

At this rate, you’re probably used to livestream concerts and Zoom events. But these 12 artists are playing live in flesh and you won’t want to miss it.

01 Harry Styles

On July 14, Styles announced he would be hitting stages across America in fall 2021. While he sadly had to postpone his European dates, he promised U.S. fans an epic show. “LOVE ON TOUR will be going out across the USA this September and I could not be more excited for these shows,” he captioned the announcement. “As always, the well-being of my fans, band, and crew, is my top priority.”

02 Maroon 5

Maroon 5 are elated to be hitting the road again in fall 2021. That being said, they’re taking the utmost caution at their shows and are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated. “What a blast kicking off our 2021 tour last night, thank you to all the fans for making our first show back special!” they said on Instagram after their first show in Washington on Aug. 11.

“We want you to know that our top priority is the safety and well-being of our fans as well as that of the hard-working men and women who make these events possible,” they continued. “To that end we want to convey our support of recent news around shows starting to require additional protocols for entry, therefore starting on Aug 16th and in the following markets, proof of a negative test result within 48 hours of your show OR full vaccination will be required to attend.”

Their current tour will continue into October 2021.

03 The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers’ Remember This tour began making its rounds across America in August 2021. With special guest Kelsea Ballerini joining them on the road, it’s sure to live up to its title and be a memorable run.

04 Justin Bieber

The Biebs is going back on tour! Fans who hoped to see the singer in 2021 will now have to wait until 2022, but the show will go on... eventually. Bieber’s Justice World Tour officially kicks off in San Diego on Feb. 18, 2022.

05 Dua Lipa

European fans of Lipa rejoice! The “Levitating” singer will be hitting major cities across Europe in spring 2022. The dates were originally rescheduled from 2021.

06 Billie Eilish

Eilish is gearing up to rock stages on her Happier Than Ever tour and she’s got an epic lineup planned. She’s bringing Jessie Reyez, Duckwrth, Willow, and Girl In Red on the road. It all kicks off Feb. 3 in New Orleans.

07 The Weeknd

Star boy is bringing his star energy on the road in 2022. Fans who have been waiting to catch Abel live can do so when he hits major cities across the U.S. in January and February.

Lorde is harnessing her Solar Power and is hitting the road. After the release of her new album, Lorde knew it was time to bring her musical magic back to the stage. Her Solar Power World Tour kicks off on Feb. 26 y’all.

09 Kacey Musgraves

Miss Musgraves has a new set of tunes and a new set of tour dates. After the release of her singles “Justified and “Star-Crossed,” the singer announced a full-fledged tour. Titled Star-Crossed: Unveiled , the tour dates will take place across North America in January and February 2022.

10 Phoebe Bridgers

Bridgers is confirmed to go on tour in fall 2021, but is making a point to only play outdoor stages to keep fans safe. Additionally, proof of vaccination will be required for entry.

11 John Mayer

Mayer released his eighth studio album Sob Rock on July 16 and announced a tour of the same name soon after. Yep, Mayer is hitting the road to play alllllll the sad bops and the action will kick off on Feb. 17, 2022.

12 The Backstreet Boys

Those hungry for a little early 2000’s nostalgia can catch the Backstreet Boys on the road next year. The boy band was supposed to hit the road in 2021, but ultimately postponed their shows until 2022 . Nevertheless, the show will go on!

Artists Who Are Going On Tour In 2024: The Rolling Stones, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo & More

The year is just getting started, but 2024 is already stacked with exciting tours. Open up your calendar and start planning with this sprawling list of announced 2024 tours.

Just a couple of years ago, live music still looked uncertain — would variant X, Y or Z derail the train for the umpteenth time? But in that regard, 2023 felt almost totally in the clear — and that's why it feels like the rubber band is stretched back for 2024, and it's ready to launch.

Sure, compiling every musical act who's touring in 2024 might be impossible. But GRAMMY.com's stylistic purview is far and wide: country, hardcore, soul, R&B, rap, indie rock, you name it. As such, we're giving it our best shot — and will continue to update the list as more tours are announced.

Without further ado, here's a major cross section of the 2024 touring landscape as currently announced — from Alvvays to Adam Ant , from Def Leppard to Danny Brown.

Laura Pausini : Laura Pausini World Tour Jan. 6 - April 6 North & Latin America

Italian singer (and the Latin Recording Academy's Person Of The Year) Laura Pausini is venturing through North & Latin America in the spring.

Slowdive Jan. 16 - May 18 U.S., Asia & Europe

The reunited shoegaze greats just released a well-loved new album, everything is alive — which is currently taking on new shades onstage. See them in 2024, on an extensive tour of Europe with Japan dates, and then a plethora of U.S. stops.

Madison Beer : The Spinnin Tour Jan. 17 - June 13 UK, Europe, & U.S.

The pop, hip-hop, EDM, and R&B star released Silence Between Songs in 2023; she'll support it with The Spinnin Tour, which heads stateside from Europe across the spring of 2024.

Drake with J.Cole : It's All A Blur - Big As The What? Jan. 18 - March 27 U.S.

Hip-hop kingpins Drake and J. Cole are headed on a co-headlining tour; some Drake gigs will be J.-Cole-less.

Ana Tijoux Jan. 18 - April 13 North America, UK, & Europe

Chilean musician Ana Tijoux hasn't undergone a world tour since 2018, but she's about to change that with a run of European gigs following the release of VIDA , her first album in several years. .

Melanie Martinez Jan. 19 - June 27 North America, Asia & Australia

Alt-popper Melanie Martinez will segue her PORTALS Tour into The Trilogy Tour, which will see her revive her alter ego "Cry Baby." See her, in this persona, in the U.S. and across the pond.

Mitski Jan. 26 - June 6 UK, Europe, & U.S.

Fresh off the release of The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We , Mitski has announced a jaunt across North America with Tamino, Sunny War, Julia Jacklin , and Sarah Kinsley.

Gloria Trevi: Mi Soundtrack World Tour Jan. 26 - Sept. 22 U.S.

Known as the "Supreme Diva of Mexican Pop," Gloria Trevi is embarking on a world tour to top off the year, as she has recently announced the first leg.

Tinashe : BB/ANG3L U.S. Tour Jan. 31 - Feb. 15 U.S.

Actress, dancer and singer Tinashe will support her new album, BB/ANG3L , with a run of mostly East Coast dates.

Militarie Gun Jan. 31 - June 1 North America

Fresh off a tour with Scowl, hardcore-adjacent, brilliantly melodic punks Militarie Gun continue their rise with a 2024 North American tour.

Mariah The Scientist: To Be Eaten Alive Tour Feb. 1 - May 4 UK, Europe, & U.S.

R&B favorite Mariah the Scientist has been raring to return to the stage: "I miss hearing my fans scream my lyrics at the top of their lungs. I miss seeing all their faces," Mariah told Rolling Stone . "I miss all the different cities. To my fans, I miss us. I'm so ready to eat you alive." She'll be in Europe and the U.S.

Marc Anthony : Viviendo Tour Feb. 9 - March 9 North America

Latin and Salsa star Marc Anthony can't hide his excitement for his upcoming tour: "See you in 2024 with many moments to write about," Mark shared in his Instagram tour announcement. "We are going to live nights like no other."

Juanes : Vida Cotidiana World Tour Feb. 13 - March 30 North America

In support of his Vida Cotidiana album, Colombian rock legend Juanes is making stops around North America to celebrate the project.

Los Angeles Azules : El Amor de mi Vida Tour Feb. 13 - April 20 U.S.

Marking their epic return to the United States, the Cumbia sibling group are kicking off their tour in support of their upcoming album —which is set to be released this year.

Jon Batiste : UNEASY Tour Feb. 16 - April 27 U.S.

Five-time GRAMMY winner and 20-time nominee Jon Batiste isn't known as a traditional touring act — extemporaneous solo performances and orchestral works tend to be his jam. That's what makes his upcoming North American tour so enticing — how will this consummate shape-shifter approach the headline-touring model?

Inside The Latin GRAMMYs Exhibit At The GRAMMY Museum: Karol G’s History-Making Moments, Rosalia’s Iconic First Red Carpet Look & More

Get a glimpse of one of the Latin Recording Academy’s three exhibits celebrating the Latin GRAMMYs’ 25th anniversary — and highlighting the biggest onstage, backstage and red carpet moments.

To celebrate 25 years of the Latin GRAMMY Awards, the Latin Recording Academy opened a new exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on Sept. 19. The entire second floor of the museum is dedicated to capturing the growth of Latin music that has gone hand-in-hand with the Latin GRAMMYs through awards, artifacts, outfits, and instruments from previous winners and nominees like Shakira , Karol G , Peso Pluma , Juan Luis Guerra , Celia Cruz , and many more.

"Today, Latin artists are crafting pop culture, influencing everything, and breaking all the charts," Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud tells GRAMMY.com. "For the Latin Recording Academy, it's been a privilege to be with them on this journey, and this exhibit tries to bring this journey closer to the people. For us, this is an attempt to bring this journey and this legacy closer to the audience."

The newly opened exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum, officially named Latin GRAMMYs 25: A Legacy of Musical Excellence , is one of three that the Latin Recording Academy is presenting as part of the 25th anniversary of the Latin GRAMMYs celebration happening throughout this year, all of which will highlight the magic of the Latin GRAMMYs. The Paley Museum in New York City will host its exhibit, which opened Sept. 13, and runs through Nov. 3; the exhibit at Miami's Gary Nader Art Centre will open Sept. 26 and run through Dec. 20. The GRAMMY Museum's exhibit closes Dec. 18.

The series of multi-city exhibits leads up to the 2024 Latin GRAMMYs , which officially mark the 25th anniversary of the Latin GRAMMY Awards. Taking place Thursday, Nov. 14 , in Miami, the 2024 Latin GRAMMYs will debut of a new field and two new categories : Best Latin Electronic Music Performance , housed within the new Electronic Music field, and Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album . Ahead of the 2024 Latin GRAMMYs, the Latin Recording Academy will host the official Latin GRAMMY Week 2024, which includes multiple events throughout Miami-Dade County including the 2024 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year gala , which this year honors 18-time Latin GRAMMYs winner and two-time GRAMMY winner Carlos Vives , and the 2024 Special Awards Presentation .

Ahead of the GRAMMY Museum’s exhibit opening, Abud and Jasen Emmons, Chief Curator and Vice President of Curatorial Affairs of the GRAMMY Museum, took GRAMMY.com on a tour. Below, learn more about the GRAMMY Museum's monumental, history-filled display.

Latin GRAMMYs Museum Exhibit Timeline

A Timeline Of Latin GRAMMY Milestones

When entering the second floor of the GRAMMY Museum, one of the walls is covered with a giant timeline of major moments and milestones from the Latin GRAMMYs. The timeline starts with the 1st Annual ceremony in 2000, where Ricky Martin , Celia Cruz, and Gloria Estefan paid tribute to mambo legend Tito Puente , who had passed away a few months prior.

From there, moments highlighted include Luis Fonsi 's performance of "Despacito" in 2017 with Diplo , Bomba Estéreo and Victor Manuelle , and Bad Bunny 's win for Best Urban Album in 2019 where he advocated for more respect for reggaeton music and its artists. Edgar Barrera , who won the first Songwriter Of The Year award at last year's ceremony, also has his history-making Latin GRAMMY on display. The timeline not only shows the growth of the awards, but its impact on Latin music going mainstream.

"We created a platform for new artists to evolve and to present their craft, but also a way to celebrate established artists," Abud says as he looks at the timeline. "I think the beauty here is that we celebrate both at the same time that we are nurturing the next generation [or artists]. I love to see an artist like Karol G be Best New Artist in 2018 and winning Album Of The Year in 2023 and breaking all the records. It's the concept of how we bring it all full circle."

The Latin GRAMMY Awards By the Numbers

There's also a few more giant graphics on the other walls of the exhibit that are informational and educational. One graphic — which could be useful for either the GRAMMYs or Latin GRAMMY Awards — explains the difference between the Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year categories; another graphic shows the legacy of the Latin GRAMMYs by the numbers. The number 18 is shown next to Eduardo Cabra , who has the most wins for a producer, while his former Calle 13 associate, Residente , is highlighted for the most wins by a male artist with 28. Meanwhile, 2006 is shown next to Shakira's name for the ceremony where she made history as the first woman to win Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year.

"I would like for visitors to feel the emotions because music is all about the emotions," Abud says. "I would like for them to go through the journey and remember what they were doing in 2006 or 2016, for example. I hope this exhibit brings them memories and gets them excited about the future. It's a combination of celebrating our past, but also enjoying the present, and preparing for the future."

Latin GRAMMYs Museum Exhibit Instruments

The Diversity Of Latin Music Through Instruments

Another way the GRAMMY Museum's Latin GRAMMYs exhibit is hoping to educate visitors is through the instruments on display. Mexican group Intocable loaned a series of instruments that highlight the sounds of música Mexicana, including the bajo sexto guitar, the accordion, and a Djembe drums.

To highlight other genres in Latin music as well, Juan Luis Guerra loaned a güira, which is used in his merengue with "Punta Cana" written across it. The drums that Sheila E. played during her performance with Guerra at the 8th Annual Latin GRAMMYs are also present. The instruments exemplify not only different genres, but also different Latin cultures and countries.

"We really wanted to show a number of different instruments that we used in Latin music, like timbales or bajo sexto because for many people they may have heard them, but they haven't seen them before," Emmons says. "It's fun for people to be able to go, 'Oh! That's what that looks like, so it's making that sound.' We're really always trying to have that educational element to what we do."

Iconic Performances Revisited

The history of career-defining performances at the Latin GRAMMYs is captured in the fashion at the exhibit.

The colorful spirit of Celia Cruz, who passed away in 2003, is captured in a white and blue wig at the exhibit. The Cuban legend wore the wig during the 2002 Latin GRAMMYs — her last televised performance.

The outfits on display also further exemplify the diversity of Latin music. Mexican icon Pepe Aguilar 's traditional charro suit is next to Peso Pluma's Givenchy and Alexander McQueen outfit from last year's ceremony that exemplifies his more urban approach to música Mexicana. Rauw Alejandro , who has gone from reggaeton hit-maker to global pop star, mixed both worlds with his red-hot Enfants Riches Déprimés look at last year's ceremony. Rosalía 's white bodysuit from her flamenco-infused debut on the Latin GRAMMYs stage in 2018 is also on display.

"It's fun to see the growth of both Latin music, but also the Latin GRAMMYs," Emmons says. "It's extraordinary when you think in just 25 years how massive it's become and incredibly exciting. It was really fun to go through that [legacy of the Latin GRAMMYs] and figure out what were those moments that helped expand awareness of this and celebrate it."

Latin GRAMMYs Museum Exhibit Red Carpet Looks

Red Carpet Fashion At The Latin GRAMMYs

The iconic fashion of the Latin GRAMMY Awards isn't only limited to the performances. On the red carpet, many nominees and winners have made statements with their outfits.

One standout fashion moment in particular at the exhibit is Mon Laferte 's purple suit at the 2021, where she proudly flaunted her pregnancy at the time. Karol G's metallic Balmain dress from last year's ceremony — where she later won Album Of The Year — is another stunning highlight among the outfits.

Barrera's fashion-forward suit that he wore during his historic Songwriter Of The Year win in 2023 is also on display. Beatriz Luengo , who won Song Of The Year for the Cuban protest anthem "Patria o Vida" in 2021, paid tribute to Celia Cruz with a blue gown that had the late legend's face emblazoned on it.

"The biggest thing I want is for visitors to go away saying, 'I want to listen to these artists,' if they haven't already," Emmons says. "Also, to have more appreciation for the artistry, and the showmanship because a lot of what we have on display are some of the performance outfits, red carpet outfits, and amazing style. At the heart of this exhibit is to inspire people to go discover artists that maybe they haven't listened to in awhile, or they never heard of before."

The diverse group of songs reflect the sounds of Latin trap, Brazilian funk, música Mexicana, alternative, and more.

Anitta — "Mil Veces"

After experiencing a global breakthrough with her 2022 album Versions of Me , Anitta decided to use her next project to spotlight the rhythms of her country. With this year's Funk Generation album, the Brazilian superstar showed different sides to funk carioca , or Brazilian funk.

On the shimmering and sensual "Mil Veces," Anitta embraced the melodic funk subgenre with the help of hitmakers DJ Gabriel do Borel, Marcio Arantes, and Julia Lewis. "[Funk music is] something that’s very new that I'm going to introduce to people so they like it, listen to it, and try to do it as well," the eight-time Latin GRAMMY nominee told GRAMMY.com in April .

Bad Bunny — "Monaco"

After scoring hits in genres like reggaeton and dembow from the Dominican Republic, Bad Bunny returned to his roots in Latin trap on 2023's Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana album.

On this foray into trap beats, el conejo malo put a fresh spin on the sound with a mafioso-like touch reminiscent of the Godfather movies. Those influences were best exemplified by the swaggering "Monaco" where trap collided with a sample of "Hier Encore" by Charles Aznavour. Bad Bunny also received a co-sign from Al Pacino appearing in the cinematic music video.

Camilo & Carín León — "Una Vida Pasada"

While salsa music has roots in Cuba, Colombia has especially embraced and elevated the genre. Medellín native Camilo, who has won six Latin GRAMMY Awards, embraced Colombia's fascination with salsa and tropical music in his latest album Cuatro .

A brassy and feel-good highlight on the LP is "Una Vida Pasada," which also marked música Mexicana star Carín Leon's first foray into salsa music. Camilo's otherworldly voice and Leon's swagger made for a soulful tropical track that has plenty of heart. Both singers pined for their former lovers to remember the good times together and give them another chance.

Cimafunk, Monsieur Périné — "Catalina"

Following two previous GRAMMY Award nominations, Cimafunk is now up for his first Latin GRAMMY. With his band, the Cuban singer mixes traditional rhythms from his country with Afro and American influences to create a unique hybrid, even within the sound of Latin alternative.

"Everybody got their own vibe and different way to talk about the groove and I’m doing it my way," Cimafunk told GRAMMY.com in 2023. "My way is alternative too. I’m always trying to mix sound and the groove."

Cimafunk continued to mix it up on his third LP, 2024's Pa' Tu Cuerpa . The album features  the colorful and grooving "Catalina," a duet with Colombian group Monsieur Périné . The sensual dance track blends Cimafunk's soulful Caribbean flow and Afro-Cuban rhythms with the sound of Colombia's Caribbean and singer Catalina García's sultry vocals.

Jorge Drexler — "Derrumbe"

Jorge Drexler has previously won the Record Of The Year category three times with his songs "Universos Paralelos," "Telefonía," and most recently "Tocarte" at the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs . The Uruguayan singer/songwriter has his hat back in the ring with the vulnerable "Derrumbe."

Drexler also co-produced the emotional alternative track with Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver . In the stripped-down tune,  Drexler plays the guitar and sings from the heart about the rug behind pulled out from under him following a relationship's end. The pain is palpable in Drexler's voice as he thinks about what could've been, and "Derrumbe" grows ever more intense and transcendent.

Fonseca & Grupo Niche — "Con Dinero y Sin Dinero"

For over two decades, Fonseca has put a pop spin on the country's tropical music scene and helped globalize vallenato music. Ahead of the 25th Latin GRAMMYs, he is one of Colombia's most decorated artists with eight previous wins.

Back in May 2024, Fonseca joined forces with Grupo Niche — who hail from Cali, the capital of Colombia's salsa music scene — for "Con Dinero y Sin Dinero." On the track, Fonseca seamlessly blends his tropipop sensibilities with Grupo Niche's brassy and colorful rhythms. He also trades verses with the band's singers about offering their lovers romance that feels priceless. The song was included on Fonseca's most recent album, Tropicalia .

Karol G — "Mi Ex Tenía Razón"

After scoring multiple reggaeton hits, Karol G took a música Mexicana detour last year with "Mi Ex Tenía Razón." She teamed up with producers Mag and Edgar Barrera — who worked with giants in the genre like Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma, and Christian Nodal — to create a nostalgic song that pays homage to one her favorite artists.

Karol G has a picture of GRAMMY winner Selena tattooed on her arm. With "Mi Ex Tenía Razón," the Colombian superstar honored the late legend of Tejano music through cumbia-pop that was reminiscent of Selena's sound. The Tejano authenticity in the kiss-off anthem is partially the influence of Barrera, who grew up moving between Texas and Mexico. The song was included on Karol G's Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) mixtape, which came out last year.

Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 — "Mambo 23"

Throughout his 40-year career, Juan Luis Guerra has won three GRAMMY Awards and 24 Latin GRAMMY Awards. In 2007, the Dominican artist and musician was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as Person Of The Year for popularizing bachata and merengue music.

Always an innovator in tropical music, Guerra wanted to see where he could take the rhythms of the Dominican Republic next. With his November 2023 EP, Radio Güira , he incorporated music from the streets of his country into the Caribbean genres that he’s known for. On the sprawling and ambitious "Mambo 23," merengue collides with elements of trap and dembow music. Guerra tapped into this new energy with his band 4.40, which is the amount of hertz in a pitch-perfect note. The name is a nod to Guerra’s commitment to creating music that’s always pleasing to the ear while pushing his sound to new places.

Mon Laferte — "Tenochtitlán"

Mon Laferte is always exploring and expanding the sound of Latin Alternative music. Though the Chilean singer/songwriter has explored more rock-driven sounds, Mon Laferte  went in a completely different direction with last year's Autopoiética album.

With Autopoiética , Laferte proved that genres like reggaeton and trip-hop could be alternative and engaging to a wider audience. She seamlessly blended her noir-like sound with elements of trip-hop in the captivating "Tenochtitlán." Laferte also sang parts of the song in Auto-Tune for the first time in her career. In June, Laferte wrapped up the Autopoiética Tour and she recently released the Netflix documentary Mon Laferte, Te Amo about her life and becoming a mother.

Kali Uchis & Peso Pluma — "Igual Que Un Ángel"

Following her breakthrough in the Latin music space with "Telepatía" in 2020, Colombian American singer Kali Uchis made a triumphant return to the scene with her album Orquídeas in January 2024.

A highlight of the LP is the dreamy "Igual Que Un Ángel," featuring Peso Pluma in his first foray into Latin pop music. Backed by dazzling synth-pop beats, Uchis and Peso Pluma trade verses about a woman who doesn't let any disappointments with love dim her shine. Uchis co-produced the track with Carter Lang, Jean Rodriguez , and Dylan Wiggins .

Meet The Artists Bringing Back UK Jungle: Nia Archives, SHERELLE & More

First developed in the 1990s, a new generation of UK musicians — particularly queer individuals and women of color — are reviving jungle music. From Tim Reaper to PinkPantheress, envelop yourself in the experimental sounds of the genre.

In the early 1990s, a bombastic new type of music was emerging in the underground Black British scene of London. Jungle was a frantic mixture of breakbeats and reggae featuring fast beats that splintered into myriad directions, interspersed with vocal samples.

Thanks to pirate radio stations, jungle saturated the streets of London’s predominantly Black, working-class neighborhoods. Jungle was a sound of escapism, celebration, community, crafted by the children of immigrants of post-war Britain.

Junglist historian Julia Toppin notes in her essay "Tech, Language and Riddim: From Jungle to UK Drill" that jungle "snatched bites from young Black Britain’s sonic palette of genres: reggae, hip-hop, pop, house, soul, RnB, groove, punk, jazz, folk, and classical," with artists like Goldie, Shy FX, A Guy Called Gerald, General Levy leading the scene. By the latter part of the decade, jungle offshoots like drum and bass gained prominence, causing the jungle scene to gradually fade into the background.

Today, a new generation of UK musicians are waking up the scene — a revival spearheaded by queer individuals and women of color. As contemporary junglist Nia Archives told GRAMMY.com , jungle is "anything over a breakbeat" — it simply refuses to conform: "The breaks have so much room to go in whatever direction you want. You can go really heavy , or you can go really light and atmospheric," she said.

It’s a flexibility that she takes full advantage of across her releases. Nia Archives layers  beats with everything from pensive, thoughtful lyrics and RnB melodies ("Cards on the Table", "So Tell Me"), to rave abandon (" Baianá ", "Forbidden Feelingz ", " Unfinished Business ")

Nia Archives is taking her debut album, Silence is Loud on the road, stopping at summer festivals including Chicago’s Lollapalooza before touring the U.S. in the fall. She is one of many contemporary jungle artists boldly experimenting with unrestrained beats, earth-shaking basslines and intricate percussive patterns to breathe new life into the pulsating rave scene.

Here are seven other artists who are bringing jungle back.

Former Mixmag photographer SHERELLE gained widespread attention after a 2019 Boiler Room viral set , followed by the release of "JUNGLE TEKNAH" in 2021, which layers piano house chords onto jungle beats. Her latest single, "Henry’s Revenge," features ethereal synths over dramatic bass drops.

Fresh from a completely sold-out international tour, SHERELLE will play a New York Boiler Room set on July 14, alongside Afrobeats star Amaarae and UK rapper Giggs.

One of the slickest in the game, Sully is a pioneer of today’s revival and has been on the scene since 2005. His beats are methodical, with tight percussion flawlessly mixed into hours of ecstatic jungle harmony. On 2024 single "Nights", he teams up with jazz singer Sâlo to create a dreamy and contemplative dancefloor meditation.

He continues to inject energy into the club, with massive sets featuring the likes of grime MC Flowdan and B2B’s with fellow junglist Tim Reaper, and is playing several UK festival slots over summer.

GROVE harnesses jungle’s unmatched energy to voice political despair. "The stinking rich families, you know how they anger me," they spat on last year’s single " Stinkin Rich," where trippy beats erupt into a heavily distorted chorus.

Their 2022 breakout hit, "Feed My Desire," is sensual, with hushed whispers and soft verses underscored by blaring basslines, demonstrating GROVE's mastery of mood — ranging from rage to seduction.

PinkPantheress

PinkPantheress didn’t come up through a club or rave scene, by anonymously uploading songs to TikTok, which she made in her bedroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her sped-up vocals and luscious hooks nodded to the heyday of 2000s UK Garage (UKG) (a jungle offshoot), quickly drumming up a viral following online.

Last year, the 23-year-old broke into the U.S. thanks to the massive UKG track "Boys A Liar pt 2" featuring Ice Spice , which now has over 200 million views on YouTube. A lover of throwback genres and a fan of jungle veterans like Shy FX, PinkPanthress combines breakbeats with pop melodies and emo guitar riffs, a delicious mix that’s made her one of Gen-Z’s fastest-rising pop stars.

Tim Reaper is a London native who has pushed the jungle revival for over a decade. His music includes reggae-influenced ragga samples (one of jungle's key influences), chill synths, and can go both hard and soft.

In 2020, Tim Reaper launched club night Future Retro to showcase London’s budding scene. However, the pandemic lockdown led the event to morph into a new-skool jungle record label that highlights some of the genre's hottest artists, including Sully, Mantra , and Decibella .

London-based DJ Shy One has been making music since she was a teenager, coming up through the ranks as a selector on legendary Hackney-based online radio NTS Radio.

Her music is shaped by grime, soul, house and jungle, and she’s taking her versatile sets to a handful of European festivals this summer. Her latest single, " Gyallis Spiral," combines rubbery bass lines and scattered synths, giving it a uniquely hyper-futuristic, spacey feel.

LCY is an artist and owner of the experimental label S7NS7N whose music is, by design,  indescribable . Their tracks are leftfield and surreal; the mere act of listening is an out-of-body experience.

Their 2023 EP He Hymns is a celestial exploration of club music hinged on breakbeats, heavy bass, disorientating drops and haunting vocals. You’re not sure what’s going on, but jungle is one of the many genres that form a kaleidoscope of their mind-bending sounds.

Crashing Into The Present: How Kehlani Learned To Trust Their Instincts And Exist Loudly

"I want this next batch of music to feel like the most fiery parts of me," Kehlani says of her new album, 'Crash.' The singer/songwriter speaks with GRAMMY.com about embracing the moment and making an album she can headbang to.

After finishing the first mixes of their new album, Kehlani knew exactly what she needed to do: head to Las Vegas.

The L.A.-based, Oakland-born singer/songwriter had always identified with Sin City: "I’m full of juxtapositions," she tells GRAMMY.com. "Vegas is this crazy bright light city in the middle of a vacant desert that has weddings and also strippers." Fittingly, Kehlani harbored a very Vegas-like image in their head while creating Crash , a record built on blaring neon, glowing smoke, and the highest highs.

Crash drops June 21, and is Kehlani's fourth solo album. She burst onto the scene in 2009 as a member of teen sextet PopLyfe, but their 2014 debut solo mixtape Cloud 19 announced a far more complex character. Their debut full-length, SweetSexySavage , was released three years later to critical acclaim, with two more albums and a handful of platinum-certified singles following. As if that weren’t enough, Kehlani added acting, appearing in "The L Word: Generation Q" and a cameo in Creed III .

And while Crash embodies the evolution and growth through all those experiences, the record builds a hyper-real language all their own. Beyond any sense of R&B or pop, soul or hip-hop, Crash finds Kehlani chasing passions that refuse to fit in any box, shifting multiple times within a track — refusing to focus on anything but the moment.

"A crash isn't anything from the past. It isn't the anxiety of what's about to happen," she says. "It's the height of the moment. It's right now."

Nearing the release of Crash , Kehlani spoke with GRAMMY.com about finding inspiration from international music, getting their five-year-old to sing on the album, and their need to stage dive.

What’s it like living in Los Angeles after growing up in the Bay Area?

I moved to L.A. when I was about 17. I had already left the house. I left the house at 14, and by the time I was almost 18 it was the appropriate time for me to situate in a new place. L.A. and the Bay are like cousins. Do we have differences? Absolutely, things that are fundamental to us, but when you leave California, you can really see that we're just like a big family.

Had you been dreaming of L.A. as a place where you could pursue art? Were you already set on that goal?

It was the closest place that a young, very broke person could go and work in music. I'm sure there were other places with musical homes, musical cities, but if all I had to do was get on a $15 bus and go find someone to stay with in L.A., I was gonna do it for sure.

That’s the same ambition that I feel drives this new record, which is just so dense and full of surprises. That includes the lovely retro radio intro to "GrooveTheory," where you move from this ‘60s pop feel to the present. That’s such a smart way to foreground your evolution.

I think the second that we made that song and then turned it into ["GrooveTheory"], I was like, This feels like it encompasses where I'm headed, this whole new sound .

Once that radio dials in and it comes in with R&B elements, it's producing where I'm headed, but also remembering that my core hasn't changed. Especially the energy of what I'm saying in the song, like, "I'm kind of crazy," it's introducing this energy difference on this album. I feel like that's the biggest change, and that's what's so prevalent in this whole rollout. Energetically, I'm on a whole different type of time.

You can sense it. 'Crash' feels really rooted in self-expression and personal growth, and when you listen to it as a whole, it really does seem like an evolution story. Beyond just the genre and style, how do you feel the way that you've expressed your true self has shifted over the years?

Thank you! That's been the feedback I've gotten from pretty much everyone who's listened, and I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't this. I have realized the public's understanding of me and the general consensus for so long, and I also realized how multi-faceted I am to people.

People get really confused when I express all the sides of my personality. They’re either, like, "Okay, she makes really sweet love songs," or "We've seen you be political, we've seen you come out, we've seen you be a family member." And then there's a lot of people who are, like, "I feel like she's f—ing crazy. I've seen her in multiple relationships. I've seen her be angry. I've seen her get online and cuss people out."

I want this next batch of music to feel like the most fiery parts of me. I want it to feel like the most present and energetic parts of me. I don't want anything to feel somber. I don't want anything to feel reminiscent. I think a lot of my albums in the past have been me looking back, and sitting in that feeling and detailing it. I just wanted [this album] to feel right here, right now, which is why the title came about. A crash isn't anything from the past. It isn't the anxiety of what's about to happen. It's the height of the moment. It's right now.

That’s unfortunately a story you hear too often about artists of color — that essentialization, where you can only be seen as one thing. R&B often gets hit with those same issues. Throughout your career you’ve stood up to those expectations, and "Better Not" on this album is such a good example of that. It’s a left turn, a stylistic contrast and an open conversation with the listener. You cleverly fuse that intentionality with a voice that’s stronger than ever.

In the past, I have had moments where I would make the song and [start recording], and there would be so many versions of each song on different microphones, recorded in different places.

"Let me try vocal production. Let me try to go back and work with this version again." I went back and did vocal production with Oak Felder , who did all the vocal production on SweetSexySavage . When I come back to some of my favorite vocal production moments, it was moments like "Distraction" or "Advice" or "Escape" — songs on my very first album — and I wanted to get that feeling again. Where it's lush where it needs to be, but also that I really mean what I'm saying.

That started with the approach in the songwriting. Once I had the songs and I had to go back and deliver them, I had enough time to listen and listen, to learn the songs and identify with them. We would make music all day and then go out, and we would be in this sprinter van on the way to going out, and, like, bang, the songs we just made, the energy was just different. It allowed me to be present in a different way where my voice is able to show up like that.

Which again ties perfectly to crashing into the present. As someone from South Africa, I love that the other guests that you included represent different cultural viewpoints. You worked with Young Miko from Puerto Rico, Omah Lay from Nigeria. Having that musical dialogue is so powerful.

We had so many conversations about how America's in the backseat often when it comes to music. We have our moments, and it's fantastic, like Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter . There's a culture that is super American, that is Black, that historically needs to be dived into. It needs to be shown that we do have something here.

So many people that don't speak Spanish bang Bad Bunny all day. Amapiano’s taking over; Tyla ’s going up. It's really not here . So that wasn't a conscious choice. It's just what we've all been listening to, what we've been loving.

Speaking of guests, I wanted to ask about your daughter, whose voice is on "Deep." Was she just in the studio and you got her singing?

So those vocals on that, that’s actually my little sister and my goddaughter. And [my daughter] was in the room and she started singing along. She has perfect pitch; she's always freestyling or singing or making something up.

I was like, "You want to just go sing on it?" What's on there is her first take. Literally. She did it the first time, all the way through, perfectly. I was like, "Well, that's it, guys. I can retire."

That track is so lush. It feels so alive. Were you working with a full band?

[Producer] Jack Rochon, who I did a lot of the music with, he just is a freaking genius music whiz. Honestly, he's one of the most humble people that I know, and deserves credit for how amazing a lot of this album is.

Talking about touchstones, there's a Prince energy to the title track. Did you have any new inspirations or influences for this record?

Thank you! My main focus for this album came from going on tour for my last one and making such a pretty, sweet, intimate album, and then playing some of the biggest venues of my career. At some point I had to rearrange the setlist to add in a lot of the album before that one, because it was just more energy on the stage. By week two of tour, the setlist had completely changed. I knew that I was playing venues on this next tour that I've dreamt about, places that I can't fathom that I'm playing, like Barclays Center.

I do a lot of things for, like, my inner child, and this is such a move for my inner child. Like, You're about to go play Barclays. Do you want to look back and say, ‘I rocked out and played Barclays’? I'm a person who headbangs on stage. I stage dive. I wanted to create an album that would ring through a venue like that. I want people to be engaged again. I'm not looking for the lighters and the somber, holding each other — which will occur regardless, because it's a me show.

But I really wanted people to be in their bodies, and their heart’s exploding and the ground’s shaking. So that's what we accomplished. I wanted to have fun. This album is so fun to me. It’s a place of fire in my heart.

It took me a second to get the word play on "Eight." I loved the track, and then suddenly I was like, 'Oh… I knew there was something raunchy going on here.'

[*Laughs.*] "Eight" was super fun, and shoutout to the boys that I did it with, because they made it everything for me.

I didn't come up with the wordplay. My boys did. Like, "This is how you talk!" I was like, "It is! This is perfect." Once I got in to fix things, add things, add my own spin, and finish writing, my favorite part was that it sounds like a Brandy song. She's my favorite.

I also wanted to ask about the Nina Sky sample on "After Hours."

That was mine. I was like, "What can we flip that when it comes on, my generation loses their mind?" And for me, every single time that Nina Sky comes on in the club, everybody's like "Woo!" And then you see how many songs were made from that same sample, and they're all songs that make us lose our minds.

I went into the room with the producers, and I was like, "So, I want to flip this, but I want you to make it to where it doesn't become one of those where the whole thing is just a sample."

Similarly, "Lose My Wife" balances breeziness with high emotional stakes. Is finding a balance like that just natural for someone so capable of juxtaposition?

The second that we established that [the record] felt like Vegas, I knew what components were missing from the energy of how I feel the second my car crosses the line into the city of Las Vegas. I knew I was missing that feeling of the next morning when you realize you went on this high and you come down. I wanted to create these scenarios that weren't necessarily applicable to me, but captured that emotion. I've been there before, and I want people to be like, Damn, I've been there before. I know this feeling .

I recorded that song at 4 in the morning with a sinus infection. The second that we finished it, everybody was like, "You can never re-sing that. Don't try to make another version, you're not gonna be able to sound like that again." All the chatter in the background of that song is really everybody who was in the studio that stayed up to just hang out. We had the tequila out, it was perfect. That was probably one of my favorite moments of making the album.

It takes a while as an artist to reach a place where you can capture those moments. You said before that people try to figure you out, and I mean this in the best possible way, but it feels like now you don’t care if they can’t figure you out.

I don't give a f—anymore, yeah. And that was a very important thing for me to learn. I used to care so much, and I would spend so much time explaining myself online, in music, in interviews, on stage. I realized that you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I've been so forward-facing with my heart my entire career that I've left a lot of room for people to consistently pedestal me and then critique me, for people to want to tear me down. I realized I'm just being present, here, existing loudly in front of a billion people, and whichever way that goes is how the cookies gonna crumble. Me giving a f—? I'm the only one it's affecting at this point, for sure.

Between tours, festivals, one-off concerts, residencies, and so much more, keeping track of your favorite artists is a full-time job (a full-time job we’re lucky enough to have).

That’s why we have introduced the Live For Live Music Concert Announcement Tracker. Below is a running list of recent live music announcements in one convenient, updated article.

This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of every concert announced. Instead, we hope to provide a broad overview of the week’s developments in live music—and, hopefully, a helpful resource for you while you put together your personal concert calendar for the year. It’s looking like a busy one.

See you on tour…

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish announced the dates the world tour in support of her third album on Monday (April 29). The Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour is slated to kick off on Sept. 29 at the Centre Videotron in Quebec, Canada, and take the singer across North America through late December, with stops in Toronto, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Newark, Boston and Pittsburgh before a three night-stint at Madison Square Garden (Oct. 16-18) and two nights at State Farm Arena in Atlanta (Nov. 2-3).

The tour will feature a number of sustainability efforts, including the continuation of Eilish’s long-running partnership with environmental nonprofit Reverb, which has so far resulted in $1 million in donations to environmental, greenhouse-gas reduction and climate-justice projects, according to a release announcing the dates. On the upcoming tour, sustainability efforts will include reducing greenhouse-gas pollution, decreasing single-use plastic waste, supporting climate action and updating concession offerings to promote plant-based food options.

Billie Eilish Explains the ‘Huge Responsibility’ to Make New Album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ Her Most…

Support + Feed will also continue its previous collaboration with Eilish and offer an expanded version of the Support+Feed Pledge aimed at inspiring fans to eat one plant-based meal a day for 30 days. Eilish’s fans are also encouraged to take public transportation and/or carpool to shows to reduce their carbon footprint, and to bring an empty reusable water bottle or donate to receive a custom RockNRefill Nalgene bottle they can fill up for free at water-refill stations at every venue. Eilish is also encouraging fans to fight the tremendous waste caused by fast fashion by dressing up for the gigs in thrifted, upcycled or borrowed clothes instead of buying new ones.

In an effort to keep tickets out of the hands of scalpers, the tour is using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange, which will allow fans who purchase tickets for the North American tour they can’t attend to resell them to other fans at the original price; click here to find out more about this program.

when do artists announce tour dates

An email notification pops up on my phone: "Tickets on sale for Gogol Bordello !" Without pausing, I open the email, click the purchase link and finally -- finally! -- I'm going to see one of my favorite bands in concert.

Until I set up alerts, my ticket-buying process usually involved last-minute searches on secondhand sites like StubHub after hearing about the concert from a friend. I was rarely successful -- most of the shows had been sold out for months.

Don't be that person. There are a few things you can do to find out when your favorite bands are coming to town.

This is the best thing for lazy people who love music. Songkick can scan your music library, catalog the artists you listen to and send you notifications when they add a concert in your city. And if you scrobble your music with Last.fm *, it's easy to build that follow list in one shot.

Here's how:

  • Head to Songkick.com and sign up for an account. When you're done, you'll be redirected to your Dashboard.
  • In the far right are three ways to add artists: Spotify , Facebook and Last.fm. Go ahead and log in to those accounts so Songkick can scan them. You're almost done.
  • Click your profile picture (upper-right corner) and go to settings. There are two things to change. First, adjust your tracked locations. I follow my hometown and New York, since I visit often and like going to concerts while I'm there.
  • From there, go to Email Notification Settings and make sure that concert alerts and ticket on-sale alerts are enabled.

If you also have a large local library on your phone, download the Songkick app. The app will scan your phone for music so that Songkick can track those artists, too.

Sign up for artists' mailing lists

It's old-school, but it works. Most artists have an email mailing list that includes updates about merch, new albums and tour dates. Sometimes, that's the first place artists will send out this information. So, if you want to increase your chances of being one of the first people to hear about an upcoming show, sign up for a few of your favorite bands' mailing lists.

Follow bands on Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat

Many artists use social media to announce tour dates and added shows, so follow them. Those announcements may even come before the mailing list email or Songkick notification.

Editors' note: Last.fm and CNET are both a part of the CBS Interactive family.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.
