The Bloomfield Cruisers, a non-profit group of collector car and motorcycle enthusiasts who live or otherwise are affiliated with the greater Bloomfield, NJ region. The leaders are Roy Yokelson, Mike Sceurman, Steve Martino and Founder Carlos Pomares, better known as the Grand Pubahs. Along with our network of friends, the group supports and sponsors local community and charitable efforts. Whenever possible, we do what we can to help out and promote our community.  

Getting involved is easy

Join us on Wednesdays for free weekly Cruise Nights. During June & July, you will find us and many other cars at Bloomfield Center and in August we move the show to the campus at Universal Technical Institute.  We also have a robust calendar of events.  See our calendar and signature events pages to get all the details!

Membership to attend most events is not required but members are invited at members-only events and discounts.  Proceeds from dues, event fees, and swag sales help support charitable efforts. 

You need NOT own a collector car or motorcycle, just a love for them. Some of our events encourage use of your daily driver so there's fun for everyone - often with a give-back purpose.

Why we are different

This isn’t your dad’s old guy car club! We are an inclusive group, often offering family-friendly events. For the hard-core gearhead, we will gather and travel to car shows or wrench in one of our garages. There’s something here for people of all ages and level of interest. So, it doesn't matter if you have a stock, custom, modified, rat-rod, tuner, motorcycle with side car or no collector car at all, come party with the Pubahs because it's for a good cause!

Get ready for a night of excitement and nostalgia with Cruise Night, a thrilling event that promises fun for the whole family! Dive into an evening filled with superhero themes, gas card giveaways, and the much-anticipated parade of cars.

The event is weather permitting, ensuring the best experience for everyone involved.

The spectacular cars are provided by the Bloomfield Cruisers, a non-profit group of collector car and motorcycle enthusiasts (aka gear heads).

What is the Bloomfield Center Alliance?

Bloomfield Center Alliance is a non-profit community development organization that manages the downtown Business District for the benefit of the merchants, business owners, and residents of Bloomfield.

Road rage incident in Montclair leads to gunfire and an arrest, police say

A Bloomfield man has been charged with assault after allegedly shooting at another vehicle during a road rage incident in Montclair Monday night, authorities said.

Nelson Santos, 42, was arrested after the incident that took place near the intersection of Washington Street and New Street, according to a press release from the Montclair Police Department.

Officers responded to the area at 9:54 p.m. Monday and spoke with the alleged victims of a road rage incident involving a white Tesla, the department stated. The victims reported that the Tesla unsuccessfully tried to pass their vehicle and continued to follow them until they pulled over.

The driver of the Tesla, later identified as Santos, exited his vehicle brandishing a handgun, according to the release. He then fired two rounds as the other vehicle attempted to drive away, striking the rear windshield and the rear bumper.

Based on the victims' description, detectives later located the Tesla in Bloomfield and arrested Santos. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and remanded to the Essex County Jail.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police advise anyone with information to contact Detective Joe Juliano at 973-509-4724.
