My wife and I had a 3 days 2 nights cruise and we had a very nice and warm-hearted cake for our anniversary. Thanks Aspira staff a lot! The journey was fascinating and we loved swimming and kayaking. Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay were both really beautiful, making the trip very memorable and meeting all the expectations.

The stay onboard was really comfortable and interesting. Aspira staff were very hospitable and optimistic. Everything was amazing, especially the delicious food and drinks. The only downside was the trash in some areas we visited, and I was so upset when looking at the plastic bottles on the water, which was of course not the cruise’s fault. Overall, it was a very nice trip!

Great services and a comfortable bus trip from Hanoi to Halong, we got a pick-up from the lobby, which was very nice and considerate of you! Mr. Lee was our tour guide and he was absolutely informative and friendly. Also, the visit to Viet Hai Village was incredible! Good experiences!

The transfer service was fast and convenient. The boat was clean and nice, the rooms were well decorated and had a very enjoyable private balcony! We appreciated the carefully-planned schedule as we truly enjoyed every moment of the trip. The visits were excellent, especially the Viet Hai Village which was very peaceful. The cruise even prepared electric cars for my grandmother who could not cycle around the village. Every scenery was amazing!

Halong Bay should definitely not be missed! The services of Aspira Cruise were fantastic, especially Mr. Lee who was very thoughtful and polite. Thanks again for all the efforts. However, what disappointed us was the drink prices. It was too high for us and we suggested the cruise should provide more complimentary water bottles. The food was delicious and I loved the fresh seafood and tranquil tea ceremony in the afternoon.

Aspira offered us plenty of activities so we could not get bored. Food and drinks were exquisite and diverse, but the drink prices were a little bit costly. The views and off-deck excursions were the best, everything was so beautiful. Caving was exciting with great kayaking instruction beforehand. I felt really secure and enjoyed the journey very much!

Our tour guide was very welcoming, funny, and spoke great English. Kayaking time was absolutely the top highlight of the trip, as we got closer to the rocks and enjoyed the best bay views and clear waters. The crew catered well to my vegetarian requests and my kids also loved the kid portions. We had a really enjoyable stay thanks to our well-equipped cabin with a private balcony. Such an amazing trip!

If you travel to Vietnam, I would highly recommend a cruise in Halong Bay and Aspira is a great choice as well! First of all, the scenery was spectacular. The staff were dedicated and would try their best to meet your requests. The food was awesome (especially the 1st dinner, I was impressed) but the quantity was a little bit too much. The 2nd day of a 3-tour was the best with lots of destinations and activities. We really enjoyed kayaking and my kids loved swimming in the Tra Bau Area. However, the 2nd night there were not many activities on board because it was quite repeated with the 1st night. You can sing karaoke, relax at the sundeck, or go squid fishing. Overall, it was an amazing trip, thanks for this special bonding vacation!

Aspira Cruise is a brand new 5-star cruise in Lan Ha Bay. The cruise had 22 suite staterooms, each with a private balcony and opulent interior design that promised to give passengers the best experiences in Halong Bay.

Aspira Cruise Overview

2020 saw the launch of Aspira Cruise, which had been under construction for two years. The cruise is 65 meters in length and 15 meters in width, with a maximum capacity of 62 passengers. There are 22 cabins on board, each with a combination of customer-focused design and modern facilities in an attractive yet cozy style. With a private balcony, each cabin is like an open gate to the ocean,  lets guests enjoy the breathtaking view of the bay.

To accommodate every passenger’s need, these cabins have been divided into four types, which include:

Junior Suite Cabin

Destinations & Activities

Knowing that Halong Bay would be overrun with tourists, Aspira Cruise chose Lan Ha Bay , an outpost of the main Halong, as its major route to ensure that visitors could still enjoy the stunning Halong Bay without feeling overcrowded.

Aspira will sailing to some of the most beautiful yet rural part of the bay, such as Sang Toi Cave, Tra Bau Area or Cock Fighting Islets. 12.30 : Check in to the Aspira Cruise and attend to a brief cruise introduction and safety instructions. The restaurant will then offer a lavish lunch.

15:00 After a few hours of traveling through Halong Bay’s breathtaking scenery, we’ll halt at Dark & Night Cave at 15:30 for kayaking or bamboo rowing.

17:30: Return to Aspira Cruise. You are now free to participate in a variety of exciting activities, such as lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails from the panoramic sky bar, or learning how to cook like a professional Vietnamese chef in a cooking class .

19:00 Dine on a luxurious meal.

The rest of the night is yours to unwind with ballad music, go squid fishing, or schedule a spa treatment for your body.

Overnight aboard.

6:15  Begin your ideal day with a Tai Chi class or Gym. 7:00: Breakfast is served in the restaurant. 8:30 Our highlight of the day would be Visit Tra Bau fishing village by kayak in just one hour to experience the sights and fisherman’s activities in the Farm Oysters. 10:00 Return Aspira Cruise, checking out and have a light brunch. 11:30 – Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and heading to the next stop.

Get to Tuan Chau Marina then transfer to Aspira Cruise by tender boat.

Check in the cruise. A short notice of safety guidelines will be present by cruise manager. Heading for lunch after that. Our first stop is Dark and Bright Cave, where you could choose to admire the beauty of the area by kayaking or bamboo boat. Get back to Aspira Cruise and enjoy Sunset Party from the panoramic sky bar. Attend a cooking class after that. 

Dinner time. Overnight on board

Welcome the morning by a Taichi Class in the Sundeck. Heading for breakfast and then, we’ll change to a day cruise to explore the hidden part of Lan Ha Bay. 

Arrive Cat Ba Island and discover Viet Hai Village. You’ll have choices to explore the nature of the Island by bicycle or electric car (no extra fee).

Return to the day cruise later for lunch

It’s time to meet the water again by visiting Ba Trai Dao – Most beautiful beach of Lan Ha Bay . You’re free to swimming or just simply relaxing on the white sand. 

Later, get back to Aspira Cruise for Sunset party and cooking class.

Dinner time. 

Photo hunting in the morning and having breakfast. 

We then will enjoy a little bit of kayaking or bamboo boat. Checking out the Cruise and have brunch while the cruise leisurely come back to Tuan Chau Marina.

11:30 Disembark and head to next travel plan.

No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.

No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.

The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:

• Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
• Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm

When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.

 Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)

It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.

Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.

Cruise itinerary

After get picked up in Hanoi Old Quarter, transfer to Tuan Chau Marina in 2,5 hours. After arriving the port, tender transfers you to Aspira Cruise. Welcome onboard.

A welcome drink and cold towel will be catered. The cruise manager presents a short safety guideline before you check in your cabin. Lunch is served in the restaurant. The cruise sets sail to Lan Ha Bay and stop at Dark - Bright Cave. You can choose to discover the area by kayak or relax on the sampan boat rowed by the local person. Then, return to Aspira Cruise and enjoy swimming nearby. You can relax in the jacuzzi pool on the top deck or join Sunset Party with Happy Hour Deal. Cooking class is presented by the staff.

Dinner is served. Then, you can feel free to watch landscape of the bay at night, order drinks from the bar, watch a movie, book a Spa treatment, try squid fishing, or relax in your room.

Ha Long Bay Tour Itinerary With Aspira Cruise

Day 1: hanoi – halong bay – lan ha bay. o/n on aspira cruise (l/d).

Morning Activities:

• 8:30 – 9:00 The driver picks you up at hotels around the Hanoi Old Quarter area.
• 11:30 You will arrive at Tuan Chau port. You will be transferred to the Aspira cruise ship by speedboat.

Afternoon Activities:

• 12:00 After checking in at Aspira Cruise. You can relax in your room while the cruise glides across the Bay. And enjoy a welcome drink.
• 12:45 – 14:00 You can enjoy a delicious international buffet lunch while the boat takes you to Lan Ha Bay .
• 15:00 Time to explore the bay by kayaking or bamboo boat. We will go to Dark and Bright Cave . Where you can explore the beauty of nature in secluded mountain lakes with your companions.

Evening Activities:

• 16:30 – 18:30 After outdoor activities. You can relax with a cocktail during the sunset party. Besides, you can also join a traditional cooking class presented by our team on board.
• 19:00 You will enjoy life with a luxurious dinner party menu.
• 20:30 You can relax with free activities such as watching movies, listening to flute performances, playing chess, reading books, listening to music. Try your luck with squid fishing. In addition, you can learn about tea culture, or enjoy the starlight in the night sky on the solar sky.
• 20:00 The boat will arrive at its overnight stop in the quietest part of the wonderland. And you’ll have a good night’s sleep on the Aspira Cruise .

Day 2: Explore Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

• 6:30 Start your day in peace. And welcome the sunrise with a Tai Chi Meditation exercise on the sundeck of the ASPIRA Cruise.
• 7:30 After your workout, enjoy a light buffet breakfast before departing for your morning tour.
• 8:30 You will visit Tra Bau fishing village by kayak. You can visit and participate in interesting fishermen’s activities at the Oyster Farm for 1 hour.
• 9:30 Return to ASPIRA Cruise to relax. Or pay bills
• 9:15 – 10:00 Check out procedures.
• 9:30 – 10:30 While the cruise returns to port, enjoy a delicious brunch buffet.
• 11:15 Get off the ASPIRA Cruise and say goodbye to Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay.
• 14:00- 15:00 If you have booked a shuttle in advance, you will be taken back to Hanoi, to the Old Quarter. This marks the end of your memorable trip. Thank you very much and see you again.

Day 2: Tra Bau Area- Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island – Halong Bay. O/n on Aspira Cruise (B/L/D)

Fullday Activities:

• 06:30 Start the day with a 30-minute Tai Chi session and witness the sunrise over the bay. Refuel and get ready for a day out.
• 07:30 Enjoy a full breakfast menu including sandwiches, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages and more. Get ready to explore Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay.
• 08:30 Transfer to the day boat to start the tour to Cat Ba Island. Visit Lan Ha Bay, and head straight to Viet Hai village, located in the valley of Cat Ba National Park.
• 09:00 – 11:00 Explore Viet Hai village – the small village deep in the valley surrounded by mountains, beautiful scenery with rice fields, buffaloes and meet with local people. Ride your bike to the village, visit the local school or roam around the village.
• 11:30 – 12:00 Return to the cruise. And enjoy lunch on board. Take time to relax, sunbathe and the boat will take you on Lan Ha Bay, looking straight at the Ba Trai Dao beach area. Swim/kayak and explore the area.
• 14:00 – 17:00 Join the kayak and explore the Ba Trai Dao beach . Customers can also sunbathe and swim at the private beach.
• 17:30 Return to Aspira Cruise after a long day of activities. Relax on the sundeck and enjoy the bay views. Besides, join a small cooking class and learn how to make fried spring rolls.
• 19:30 Enjoy a new menu that includes local seafood dishes combined with a bit of Western cooking.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning activities:.

• 9:30 Return to Aspira Cruise to relax. Or pay bills

Afternoon activities:

• 12:00 – 12:15 Bid farewell to Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. Return to Tuan Chau Wharf and prepare for your drive back to Hanoi (available for advanced booking).
• 14:00 – 14:30 Arrive back at Hanoi Old Quarter, marking the end of an unforgettable trip.
