Street Fighter 6's Sequel May Need to Bite a Bullet It Has Long Dodged

Chapter 11 is one of the longer World Tour mode chapters , clocking in at around the one-hour mark. It also features one or two fairly challenging fights, meaning that some Street Fighter 6 players may need to spend a bit of time grinding out a few extra levels or upgrading their gear, particularly if they've been neglecting these things up to this point.

Despite its length and challenging nature, though, Chapter 11 of World Tour mode can still be a lot of fun, with players introduced to a few new characters here and also getting to explore another brand-new location. With only a few chapters remaining after this one, Street Fighter 6 players should aim to enjoy the experience while they still can.

To get the ball rolling, players will need to speak with Thrasher in Metro City. He can only be found at night, so players should head to the Hangout and change the time of day if needed. From there, they'll want to head around the corner past the police station, and up to the rooftop where they first encountered Thrasher back in Chapter 4 . He'll agree to let them represent the Mad Gear gang at the upcoming tournament, but only if they deal with a rival gang first.

After speaking with Thrasher, players should talk to Mad Gear Tequilla, who is standing nearby and reveals that the Crows' hideout is on the west side of Metro City. Players should head there next and then talk to the NPC named Crows Burungak at the gate in order to gain entrance. Players will be ambushed not long after they make their way inside, after which, they'll be introduced to the Crows' leader, Rudra.

Rudra suggests a team battle between Mad Gear and The Crows to decide who gets to rep Metro City in the tournament. Players will then need to return to Thrasher, who seems happy to accept Rudra's challenge. Unfortunately, however, Mad Gear doesn't have too many great fighters , meaning that the player will need to head out and recruit three skilled combatants before the team battle can take place.

The "Recruitment Drive" main story mission sees players returning to Nayshall, where they'll need to make their way toward Mount Vashal. The only way to get there right now is via the Lowlands, by heading across the metal pipe near the entrance and then across a wooden plank. Players will soon come to an NPC named Bao, but, after speaking with him, it soon becomes clear that he isn't a good fit for the team fight.

Soon after, players will run into a mysterious fighter known as the Cardboard Combatant. They'll need to beat him in a two-round battle, which may prove to be a little tricky for some players. He hits like a truck and can melt through the player's health bar like a hot knife through butter if he's allowed to really get going. As with the Rewancha fight in Chapter 7 , though, he can be dealt with fairly easily by blocking his attacks and then following up with powerful Punish Counters.

Once they've dealt with the Cardboard Combatant, players should head back down the mountain to trigger a message from Thrasher. He'll make some suggestions as to who they should recruit, with players able to choose who the second and third members of the Mad Gear team will be. Unfortunately, it really doesn't matter who they pick here, so they should just speak with Damini in the Central Bazaar area and then head back to London to recruit Violet. They can then return to Thrasher, who reveals that he will be the fourth member of the team.

Now that they have a full team, players should return to the Crows' hideout at night. They'll need to climb their way to the tallest rooftop, either defeating or fleeing from all of the Crows members that they encounter along the way. The good news is that these gang members do not respawn, so if players need to leave to go and buy some healing items from Shopkeeper Udon in the Urban Park area, they can do so without having to start their ascent from scratch.

When they do arrive at the tallest rooftop, players should watch the first three fights and then speak with Rudra to trigger the final one-on-one showdown. This will probably end up being the player's toughest World Tour mode match so far, as Rudra uses Dhalsim's fighting style , which is somewhat difficult to counter as it requires players to go on the offensive, leaving them vulnerable to hard-hitting counters. Thankfully, there are a few strategies that can really help here.

Rudra is an excellent ranged fighter , so players should aim to get in close where possible. Unfortunately, jumping and dashing are ill-advised here due to his stretchable limbs and fireball attacks, but Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick and Ryu's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku can help players to close the gap quickly, and, for the most part, safely. Once they do get in close, Manon's Manege Dore Special can be incredibly effective and grows stronger with each use. Of course, players can also use consumables to heal up as and when needed.

After beating Rudra, players will need to return to Nayshall and speak with Punch at the Lowlands arena. Doing so will bring an end to the "To Evil's Zenith" main story mission, with players getting 7,000 Miles and two Street Fiber (Torso) upgrade items as a reward. They'll then need to find Yua in the Central Bazaar area of Old Nayshall, as it's only after speaking with her that players will unlock the first part of Chapter 12, "Kalima of the Resistance."

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
