Luxury Cruises to Southeast Asia

With such a variety of cultures, islands, and natural beauty to explore, it’s no wonder cruises to southeast Asia are often at the top of any seasoned traveler’s list. Dip your toes in the crystal blue waters off the coast of Bali, or take in the big city sights in some of Asia’s most exciting capitals. Travel to ancient Buddhist temples and trek to hidden waterfalls through tropical rainforests, all on the same trip.

Discover contemporary Singapore, where you can wander through an indoor cloud forest before touring the beautiful bay. Take a yoga class in artsy Ubud before basking in the sun on one of Bali’s beaches. Visit one of the best luxury shopping destinations in Kuala Lumpur, and uncover centuries of intricate cultural and historical heritage in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam. Take your vacation to the next level on a luxury cruise to southeast Asia with Celebrity.

Southeast Asia Cruise Highlights

Wild tropical nature.

The natural splendor of southeast Asia is as abundant as it is diverse, and you’ll see examples of this at practically every port call on your cruise. From wild bird species in their natural habitat to the snake-like patterns of the Saigon River as it twists and turns through the verdant agricultural land of southern Vietnam, traveling here is a true feast for the senses. You can visit some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, rainforests, and mountains, all on one trip.

Delicious Authentic Cuisine

From Bangkok to Bali and beyond, Southeast Asia offers a world of spices, fresh produce, delicious meats, and centuries-old recipes that will excite anybody from the pickiest to the most adventurous eater. Get a true authentic taste of signature dishes and flavors at each port, from high-end restaurants to the sizzling fresh flavors of Asia’s street food stalls and markets.

World-Class Shopping

From the famous Suria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur to the busy Bugis street in Singapore, there’s no shortage of world-class luxury shopping options on Celebrity’s Southeast Asia cruises. You’ll find bespoke suits and gowns on Nguyen Trai Street in Ho Chi Minh, and artisan ceramics, bamboo sculptures, and woven baskets in the craft villages around Hanoi.

Featured Southeast Asia Cruise Ports

Bangkok, thailand.

The city of Bangkok has long evoked travelers’ spirit of adventure, thanks to the dazzling temples along the Chao Phraya River, the colorful floating markets, and high-end dining scene. Take a trip along the river by boat as you pass gilded pagodas and watch small neighborhoods come to life. Tour the massive Grand Palace to uncover the rich history of Thailand’s royal dynasties. Sample spicy, nutty satay and savory spring rolls at the enormous Chatuchak Market while you shop for bargains.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest metropolis, and a thriving business, commercial, and tourism center. Start your adventure on the busy and vibrant Pham Ngu Lao Street and try a traditional glass of sweet and nutty Nước Sâm tea. Pay a visit to the 19th-century Notre Dame Cathedral, designed in a striking neo-Romanesque style and topped with towering iron spires. Visit the floating markets along the Mekong Delta to experience an age-old tradition of Vietnamese trade and commerce.

In Singapore, you’ll find a fascinatingly advanced city anchored in both its thirst for modern might and its cultural traditions. Take a ride high in the sky aboard the Singapore Cable Car for panoramic views of the busy bay as you head from Sentosa Island up to Mount Faber Peak. Visit the delightfully colorful and fragrant National Orchid Garden, or explore the futuristic Gardens by the Bay.

Bali, Indonesia

The island of Bali is Indonesia’s blissful beach-filled, natural paradise, and the perfect place to unwind and explore on a cruise to Southeast Asia. Head to the beach in Pantai Tanjung for a thrilling watersports adventure before visiting ancient temples in nearby Denpasar. Find your inner peace and relaxation in Ubud over a fresh acai bowl and yoga session. Spend the afternoon with Balinese long-tailed macaques at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary to see these primates in their protected, yet wild habitat.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur’s ultra-modern, glassy skyline gives way to a city with a dynamic past, and both British and Malaysian roots. Venture to the observation deck near the top of the mighty Petronas Twin Towers to take in breathtaking views of the sprawling metropolis below. Try some tasty Malaysian treats from the food stalls along the charming, lantern-lit Jalan Alor street. Visit one of Asia’s most luxurious shopping centers at Suria KLCC. Learn about the city’s diverse religious history through detailed wood carvings on display at the Islamic Arts Museum.

Hanoi, Vietnam

Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, is famous for its impressive architecture, French and Chinese cultural influences, and cuisine. Make sure to pay a visit to the lively Old Quarter, where busy streets give way to bustling eateries and small craft shops selling bamboo goods, bags, silks, and souvenirs. Get an educational perspective on the accomplishments and roles of local women at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. Take in magnificent citywide views from inside the glassed perch at the Lotte Observation Deck, 60 stories high above the skyline – and brace yourself to step out onto the glass floor.

The 11 best Tom Cruise movies, ranked

Tom cruise is still providing great movies almost four decades into his career.

Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick

The term “movie star” is thrown around a little loosely these days. Actors appear in one big blockbuster, and suddenly they’re thrust into celebrity status for the foreseeable future. There are very few performers who have stood the test of time and created hits for decades. Sometimes, though, it works out. Tom Cruise fits this definition as well as any actor who’s ever lived.

Cruise puts his all into his performances and movies, doing a majority of the stunts himself without a body double and funding his films through his own production company. While he may not have the Academy Awards of Jack Nicholson or Al Pacino, he’s been arguably the defining actor of the action genre since the mid-1980s.

We’re here to help you sort out which Tom Cruise movies you should watch next to get the full picture of his career. From his early dramatic turns in legal dramas and sports films  to his franchise work in Top Gun and Mission: Impossible , there are plenty of options to enjoy the best Tom Cruise movies.

11. Minority Report (2002)

10. jack reacher (2012), 9. vanilla sky (2001), 8. the firm (1993), 7. war of the worlds (2005).

This film is one of the most famous adaptations of the classic alien invasion story by H.G. Wells. Stephen Spielberg directed this special effects spectacle and placed Tom Cruise exquisitely in the lead role. Cruise plays a protective father very well here, adding some human substance to a film that often gets critiqued for its overreliance on computer-generated imagery. This was one of the highest-grossing movies of 2005.

6. Tropic Thunder (2008)

5. born on the fourth of july (1989), 4. mission: impossible - rogue nation (2015), 3. top gun: maverick (2022), 2. jerry maguire (1996), 1. rain man (1988), editors' recommendations.

Tennis may not be for every sports fan, but the competitive appeal must feel relatable to most, if not all, people who engage in other games. Unlike team sports like football, where you can rely on others in the group, tennis requires mental stamina and physical conditioning that puts all of the pressure on the single individual. A tennis match is a battle of attrition and juxtapositions of personalities, a one-on-one affair that has made for some great thematic material in Hollywood.

While many of the best tennis movies are biographical or documentaries, they still get the blood flowing with epic tales of rivalries and historical drama. Non-tennis fans might still love the romance or sexual tension in other films on the list, while some movies are not even about tennis but use the sport as a backdrop or in key scenes of the film. These are the best tennis movies for every type of sports fan to enjoy!

The most exciting part of first dates is probably getting to know a new person. Since it's the first official meetup, it's understandable how this can cause stress. However, always remember that they also have to get to know you! We all have the same date night nerves, so when thinking of an idea for that event, it helps to put yourself in your date's shoes.

Fortunately, there are tons of new first date ideas, unlike the overly cliched ones, such as dinners out, catching a movie, and/or hitting the best bars in America. Our creative sides have picked up some pretty helpful ideas for specific activities, making the happy hour for date night more creative, personal, and natural.

TV has often been viewed as an inferior form of entertainment compared to film, but one network has dramatically helped alter this narrative more than any other in the past 25 years. HBO has always been willing to take risks, employ star actors, and provide a budget for showrunners that's unrivaled in television. And while HBO gets the reputation for swaying toward more adult content, it has plenty of diversity in genres and content.

Comedy, drama, high fantasy, the zombie apocalypse, and the White House are all occupants of the network's prestigious stories and characters. We're here to celebrate all of the greatness that has taken place on the airwaves of HBO by ranking the top 11 HBO shows ever. Did your favorite HBO series make the list?
