Day 01 Arrival / Transfer from Airport to Hotel / Night Stay: Tbilisi

You will arrive at Tbilisi International Airport, once you collect all your luggage and go to "Arrivals" Section of the Airport, our "Meeter" will meet you in the Airport holding a board with our Company Logo and your Name written on it. She or He will escort you to the vehicle and will take you to your hotel to Check-in to your room and rest for a day to get over the jetlag and gather strength until beginning your adventure.

Day 02 Breakfast in Hotel / Tbilisi and Mtskheta Tour / NS: Tbilisi

After Having a Breakfast in your hotel you will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, The tour starts with Jvari Monastery (6th - 7th cc), the most important religious center and an architectural masterpiece of mediaeval Georgia. Enjoy breathtaking view from the church that stands proud over the city of Mtskheta overseeing the merging of two of the biggest rivers in Georgia, Mtkvari (Kura) and Aragvi. Passing through the famous souvenir market, Continue tour to the old Capital town of Georgia, - towards Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Tour continues to Tbilisi with Metekhi church and the monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Walk down to the Rike Park and Cross the Peace Bridge. Take cable car from Rike Park to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city and statue of Mother Georgia standing above the old Tbilisi. Walk down to the district of Sulphur baths passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Meidan Square area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. After that you will head back to your hotel.

Day 03 Breakfast in Hotel / Ananuri-Gudauri-Kazbegi Tour / NS: Tbilisi

After Having a Breakfast in your hotel, you will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, the route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North, towards the border with Russia. Your first stop will be Jhinvali Water reservoir created during the soviet era, promptly continuing to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jhinvali reservoir. Continue your drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merge. Continuing on the way you will have a chance to taste the mineral mountain springs in Mleta after which you will drive over the Cross Pass to Gudauri Ski Resort, where you can enjoy the Winter Sports during winter or be more adventurous and experience Paragliding in every season with local professionals. Afterwards, We will then drive over the Cross Pass and make a short stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” mountain view point overlooking a deep gorge of Caucasus mountain range and on the way to Town of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) we will pass by the beautiful Travertine in Kazbegi National Park. After arriving to Kazbegi, we will change our vehicle to a four-wheel drive car to reach Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located on altitude of 2170 meters, and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kazbegi before heading back to your hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 04 Breakfast in Hotel / Bodbe-Signaghi-Kakheti Tour / NS: Tbilisi After Having a Breakfast in your hotel, you will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, and depart towards the Kakheti region of Georgia, the cradle of Georgian winemaking. Our first stop will be in Bodbe monastery complex functioning as a nunnery since 1889, which according to the legend is a burial place of St. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity in the 4th century. Continue to Sighnaghi, the city of love and the Royal Town, one of the crossroads of the Great Silk Road surrounded by defensive walls with 23 towers. After that, you will head to KTW. Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking preserves the ancient Georgian wine-making traditions, combining them with modern technologies to offer exceptional wines, stunning and storied heritage of Georgia - The Cradle of Wine. The company has been learning Kakhian technologies since the first steps of its existence. It keeps ancient traditions of wine-making and uses clay vessels for preserving the best quality of wine. Day 01: arrival in tbilisi international airport. transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Tbilisi old Town, Legvtakhevi Waterfall, Historical city of Mtskheta (Jvari, Svetitskhoveli)

Duration of the tour ≈7-8 hours / Distance 80 km / overnight in Tbilisi

After breakfast, start a few unforgettable hours of familiarization with the capital. A charming town built in the 5th century along the twisting valley of Mtkvari River. All the places of interest are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk.

Start our excursion from the Metekhi (13th century) plateau, before reaching Narikala Fortress, which dominates the skyline of the Old Town. Continue to explore brick-domed underground sulfur baths(17th century) – the district of naturally hot mineral waters, cafe street Shardeni, walk across the Bridge of Peace which is a stunning design as well as a convenient crossing between the Old Town and the newly constructed Rike Park. It also provides superb views over the city.

After that, visit the Legvtakhevi waterfall – the name Leghvtakhevi comes from the Georgian word “Leghvi” which means fig. There were so many fig trees around this place. The ancient district Kala was separated from the main city by the Leghvtakhevi gorge.

Drive to Mtskheta – an ancient capital of Georgia, important religious center and city-museum which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Along the way, we will stop to visit Jvari Monastery (6th century). This wellknown monastery is located on the top of the mountain, at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.

Then head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) which is known as a place where Christ’s robe was buried. Walk along the narrow streets of Mtskheta with souvenir shopping possibilities.

Drive back to Tbilisi. Hotel accommodation and overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 03: Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport. Departure

After breakfast, transfer from Gudauri to Tbilisi (2 hours 30 minutes) en-route stop at Ananuri fortress for a visit to the medieval defense citadel located 64 km away from Tbilisi. You will feel the spirit of one of the most significant fortresses of the medieval Georgia that once served as an outpost blocking the road leading from the Daryal gorge. We will start our tour with visiting Narikala Fortress by cable car (or by walk, we will decide this at the place). The fortress was established in the 4th century and considerably expanded over subsequent centuries. Enjoy are spectacular views of the city from the battlements. We will continue exploring the Tbilisi Old Town with Sulfur Baths and Leghvtakhevi Waterfall – this district is called “Abanotubani” . Abanotubani is the place, where according to legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to the discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently the founding of a new capital. After visit- Mtskheta. The ancient capital of Georgia is located 20 km from Tbilisi. • Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the itinerary and inclusions reflected on the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.

• In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. Dook Travels shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
• The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Dook Travels will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
• Please note that your package includes baggage as per airlines policy. Any addition in baggage will be charged separately.
• Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
• In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
• Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.This amount has to be deposited by the traveler.
• Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.

• The package price doesn’t include special dinner or mandatory charges at times levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Dook Travels shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Dook Travels may not have this information readily available all the time.
• Our package price does not include GST and TCS. Applicable GST and TCS will be charged over and above the package price.
• For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
• For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process the refund & should reach the guest within 30 days refund requisition. Also, for any activity which is complementary and not charged to Dook Travels & guests, no refund will be processed.
• Our package prices are on twin sharing accommodation basis thus published prices are applicable for minimum two persons and multiple of two thereon.
• As per RBI guideline every foreign traveler has to provide us his PAN details. The Dollar component of package price will be taken out of your BTQ (Basic Travel Quota).
• The tour cost does not include any Overseas Insurance Premium, but we strongly recommend buying Overseas Insurance Policy. The same after issuance is non refundable.
• These terms are general terms for our tour packages.Any term mentioned in proposal shall be considered part of it and in case of discrepancy term mentioned in proposal shall prevail.
• Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

Entry rules for COVID-19 vaccinated visitors Citizens of all countries, traveling by air from any country may enter Georgia if they present the document confirming the full course (two doses) of any COVID-19 vaccination at the border checkpoints of Georgia.

Entry rules for unvaccinated visitors (UAE residence permit) Arrival in or transit through Georgia by air. Existing restrictions for arrival by land or sea remain in force.

• Present a negative PCR test result taken within the 72 hours of departure.
• Get a follow-up PCR test at their own expense on the 3rd day after arrival in Georgia.
• Complete an application form with contact details and travel history of the last 14 days.
• All individuals who have travelled to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland within the last 14 days will be placed in mandatory quarantine at personal expense for 12 days upon entry. In this case, a follow-up PCR test on arrival and on the third day after arrival in Georgia is not required.
• Travellers to UAE need to present a negative PCR test result taken within the 72 hours of departure.
• Residence of UAE with a Residency visa issued in Dubai returning to Dubai (DXB) must have a GDRFA approval obtained before departure on https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitServiceForm.aspx
