FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Announces Summer 2024 U.S. Tour With MARILYN MANSON

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has announced a headlining U.S. tour this summer with support from MARILYN MANSON and SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL . The trek will kick off on August 2 in Hershey, Pennsylvania and run through September 19 when it will conclude in Houston, Texas.

A special BLABBERMOUTH.NET presale will begin on Wednesday, March 13 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) local time and end on Thursday, March 14 at 10:00 p.m. local time. When prompted, type in the presale code "BLABBER24" to access tickets before the general public. General on-sale will be Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. local time.

Prior to the U.S. run, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will embark on a tour of Europe in the spring for more stadium dates with METALLICA on the latter act's "M72" world tour in addition to headlining shows with special guest ICE NINE KILLS and select appearances at major festivals.

The digital deluxe edition of "AfterLife" , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's critically acclaimed ninth studio album, will arrive on April 5 via Better Noise Music . The deluxe version will include the original 12 tracks recorded with the band's longtime producer Kevin Churko ( OZZY OSBOURNE ) in addition to four bonus tracks: three acoustic versions of the album's songs "The End" , "Judgement Day" and "Thanks For Asking" plus a brand new song, "This Is The Way" , featuring the late rapper DMX . An official music video for "This Is The Way (Featuring DMX)" is directed by none other than highly influential filmmaker Hype Williams , a longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX . Hailed by The New York Times in 2024 as "The Nineties Wunderkind," Hype Williams is known for his seminal work with luminaries like Tupac , Wu-Tang Clan and Jay-Z , among others. The video will be released to coincide with the deluxe edition of "AfterLife" on April 5.

"AfterLife" is FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's first album with its latest addition, renowned British virtuoso Andy James , who replaced Jason Hook in 2020. James was previously featured on "Broken World" , a song that was included on the second installment of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's greatest-hits collection, "A Decade Of Destruction – Volume 2" , which came out in the fall of 2020.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH played its first show as the support act for METALLICA on the "M72" tour on August 6, 2023 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH was originally supposed to support METALLICA on several European shows last spring but ended up canceling the dates in order to allow singer Ivan Moody to fully recover from a hernia surgery.

Manson has faced a number of legal obstacles in recent years, including being sued by several women with allegations of sexual and other abuse. Some of those lawsuits have been dismissed or settled.

Last September, Manson , whose legal name is Brian Warner , was sentenced to 20 hours of community service and a fine after pleading no contest to blowing his nose on a videographer at a 2019 concert in New Hampshire.

In legal documents filed in November 2022, Marilyn confirmed he was dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings , and talent agency CAA , and claimed to have been "excluded from Hollywood social and business gatherings."

Manson went on to say that his music was suffering, he couldn't tour, he couldn't release his book, his paintings had been "devalued" and his art shows had been "indefinitely postponed."

Manson said his "false portrayal as a rapist, abuser, and child pornographer" had also caused him to lose two acting roles, Starz series "American Gods" and Paramount+ series "The Stand" .

(DETROIT – March 8, 2024) – Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch today announced a headlining U.S. tour this Summer/Fall with Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail. All the bands were spot on put on excellent shows with awesome energy. They did everything they could to make it feel like everybody was included in the show they were doing. It was awesome to see how they recognize the vets who are willing to sacrifice everything so that we can have everything. Truly the veterans are The real heroes in America today Not the made up ones you see on TV by marvel comics. Secondly and even closer to my own heart The way Ivan brought up his sobriety and shared it with everybody and then recognized everyone in the crowd that has sobriety and told everyone that we all deserve around of applause for everything we’ve gone through to get to where were at. Was truly a special moment because so many addicts and alcoholics could feel alone in a crowd room full of people even when they’re sober that the fact that they got the spotlight for even one second is something that most of us will never forget as I myself have 20 years of sobriety this is the first time a performer has put it in the spotlight rock on Ivan.

Last summer I finally pulled my shit together and got sober from heroin. My goal? See ffdp up close and personal. Of course, Breaking Benjamin was fuckin' fabulous. I just was craving me some angry Moody :) I forked out the extra cash in hopes that I could exchange a look with the man and offer to buy him coffee, chilli or something like a good Cincinnati girl would do. Oh, but no. Fate had other plans. 4 fuckin' songs into the set I walked away from my front row spot fading in and out of consciousness from a growing excruciating pain in my side. I black out, hit the ground and I was being wheeled away by security during "Remember everything." Stupid ass kidney stones.. Ruined. From what I heard it was sex to my ear drums and the entire band can ear sex me anytime. I WILL meet ya'll someday and shake your hands and kiss your faces. You've got me through some of the darkest times in my life. I hope this story reaches one of you and puts a smile on your face and shows you that there are little small town girls like me that get a little turned on by short bald guys that scream :)

So fuckin' what?

This group sounds fantastic on their recordings but sound just as rockin in concert. Ivan Moody is Mr. Entertainer and continuously wows the crowd with his sarcasm, humor, and invitation to his fans that they are "family".

He recognizes the military and shows support. However, with the crazy and tragic fires going on, one north of Sacramento, and one south of Sacramento, he invited first responders and firefighters to the concert for free. So this metal rock band has some real class and respect.

The lights and glitter and fire, and the large skull has the total package of a kick ass metal band, and it delivers a punch, a FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH!

Ivan is great with the kids on stage, and gives them something to remember.

He sounds great, and your bonuses are Jason, Chris, and Jeremy Oh yeah....they frickin' rock! Talented! Jason and your strumming on your 12 string while he rises above the crown, and wow they all have talent. This band fits together quite well. They don't have the mightier than thou attitude, and show appreciation and love for their audience. They stuck around after the concert throwing out paraphernalia.

If you haven't seen them yet and know their music, GO SEE THEM! It is totally worth it!

Five Finger Death Punch Cancel Remaining Summer European Tour Dates

Due to Ivan Moody’s recent surgery and ongoing recovery, Five Finger Death Punch has announced the cancellation of its remaining Summer 2023 European Tour Dates.

It had previously been thought that the band would return to touring from 12 June onwards however, to give Ivan additional time to recover, the band has made the decision to cancel the remaining three dates of its European Summer tour.

The affected tour dates are as follows: 14 June – Bucharest, Romania, Metalhead Festival 18 June – Gothenburg, Sweden, Ullevi Stadium 23 June – Aarburg, Switzerland, Summerside Festival

In an official statement shared across the bands social media plaform, Five Finger Death Punch said, “It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the last three shows on our European run this summer in Romania, Sweden and Switzerland.

Ivan was recently seen by his medical team and they have now advised him to rest and refrain from travel until the beginning of July. This is to ensure he makes a full recovery and can be ready to start the North American leg of this tour on July 21st in York, PA without further interruption.

We would like to thank Metallica for their unwavering support of the band and of Ivan during this tough time. We would also like to thank Floor Jansen and Epica for stepping in at such short notice to fill our spot.

Most importantly, though, we thank the fans for your understanding and patience. It is heartbreaking we were not able to play these shows, but we will most certainly return next year and we have a few other things planned too.

Five Finger Death Punch Cancel Remaining European Tour Dates

Five Finger Death Punch have officially canceled their remaining European tour dates. The cancelation stems from singer Ivan Moody’s ongoing recovery from hernia surgery.

The band issued a statement confirming the news. They said, in part, “Ivan was recently seen by his medical team and they have now advised him to rest and refrain from travel until the beginning of July. This is to ensure he makes a full recovery and can be ready to start the North American leg of this tour on July 21st in York, PA without further interruption.”

FFDP was in Europe for select solo dates but also to provide support on Metallica’s world tour. With FFDP backing out of those dates with Metallica, Floor Jansen and Epica will fill in.

News of Moody’s hernia surgery broke in April . The FFDP frontman later took to Instagram to detail his surgery, revealing he had three hernias to treat . He said about his recovery, “I thought it would have been easy, however having all three done at the same time was a shock to my system, to say the least, using, of course, my diaphragm and my stomach to sing.”

Moody added, “Anyway, [the doctor] explained to me that the best thing to do would be to get it done now instead of prolonging it, having it rip and get worse, so that’s what I did. Again, my body didn’t take it as well as I thought it would, so here I am, not working.”

Unfortunately, The Five Finger Death Punch concert at Weidner Field on 8/25/2023 has been cancelled due to conflicting schedules in 2024.

Any tickets held for this event will automatically be refunded to your original payment method.  Refunds will process in the next 2-3 business days and you should see the refund in your account in the next 10-14 business days. If tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the individual who originally purchased the tickets.

Here is what you need to know about the Five Finger Death Punch concert in Vancouver

Five Finger Death Punch is bringing a massive show to Vancouver as part of their ongoing world tour.

Currently on their North American branch, the Las Vegas-born band is coming to Vancouver on Tuesday, Aug. 27 along with a notable opening act.

Five Finger Death Punch have been around for nearly 20 years, putting out nine studio albums, the most recent of which,  AfterLife , topped American and European hard rock charts.

On tour with Five Finger Death Punch is Marilyn Manson (the band and the singer). The long-time industrial and goth rocker, who's been a controversial figure for decades (most recently over abuse allegations), has put out 11 studio albums including the critically well-received 2020 release  We Are Chaos.

Also on the bill are bands Slaughter to Prevail, a Russian deathcore band now based in Florida, and The Funeral Portrait, an emo act out of Atlanta.

Early start

Doors to the show open quite early at 5:30 p.m. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.

Only a handful of tickets are available for the show, and most of them are resale offerings. However, prices aren't as high as other recent concerts at Rogers, with quite a few of the limited tickets available selling for under $100 (and as low as $76). For those who want to be in the pit, though, things are a bit more expensive, running about $300.

Transportation

TransLink has not announced  any alerts , delays, or additional service which will affect trips to or from the concert in any meaningful way.

Hullo doesn't have a late-night sailing for fans on Vancouver Island.

Restrictions

A few things aren't allowed in Rogers Arena for the show. Notably, some bags won't be permitted; all bags need to be under 35.5 cm by 35.5 cm by 15.2 cm. For reference, 35.5 cm is just a bit over 13 inches.

Rogers Arena is also a smoke-free zone, as far as cigarettes and cannabis are concerned. The band may have smoke machines.

Other  common-sense items , like skateboards, selfie sticks and outside food and drinks, should be left at home.

Cashless venue

Rogers Arena is a cashless venue.

"Concession, retail stands, and hospitality will exclusively accept contactless forms of payment," states the arena's website.

Rogers Arena has a fan service number to text if there are any issues during the show: 604-765-3267.

Concert-goers can text their issue and their location (seat number and row along with the section) and get help.

Last night, Vancouver’s Rogers Arena played host to one of the most electrifying rock shows of the year, headlined by the powerhouse that is Five Finger Death Punch. The band, known for their intense energy and uncompromising sound, delivered a performance that left the crowd in awe. This concert was more than just a typical rock show; it was a full-throttle experience that showcased why Five Finger Death Punch remains one of the most dominant forces in modern metal.

The evening kicked off with The Funeral Portrait , who set the stage with their unique blend of pop-infused rock, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Their performance was dynamic and full of energy, with lead singer Lee Jennings commanding the stage with surprising grace and engaging the crowd with every movement. Despite their seemingly lighter sound compared to the heavier acts on the lineup, The Funeral Portrait managed to captivate the audience with their infectious enthusiasm and powerful stage presence. With their debut album “Greetings From Suffocate City” set to release later this year via Better Noise Music, the band is poised to make a significant impact.

Slaughter to Prevail took the stage next, delivering an aggressive and high-energy set that shook the arena to its core. The band, hailing from Russia, has quickly gained a reputation in the deathcore scene for their intense live performances and brutal sound. Led by vocalist Alex Terrible, known for his deep guttural growls and imposing stage presence, the band is a force to be reckoned with. Their performance was visually and sonically gripping, with the members donning their signature metallic masks, adding an eerie and intimidating atmosphere to the show. The masks, inspired by traditional Russian folklore, have become a symbol of the band’s unique identity, and their fans in the crowd, many wearing similar masks, passionately cheered them on throughout the set.

As the anticipation built, Marilyn Manson took the stage, and the atmosphere in Rogers Arena shifted to something almost reverential. One of the highlights of the night came during their sixth song, “Sham Pain,” when the band showered the audience with confetti and lead singer Ivan Moody tossed out handfuls of Five Finger Death Punch-branded fake money. The interaction didn’t stop there; the band continually tossed guitar picks into the crowd, with Moody even taking a moment to hand some directly to the photographers in the media pit, a gesture that exemplified the band’s connection with their crowds.

This epic run is not the first time Five Finger Death Punch and Brantley Gilbert have joined forces. The two artists brought the worlds of hard rock and country rock together when they partnered on their global #1 hit, “ Blue On Black ” in 2019. The track also featured Brian May, the song’s original performer, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and was in support of The Gary Sinise Foundation , to benefit first responders. To date, the collaboration has garnered a staggering 110 million YouTube views and 62 million Spotify streams , proving that this very special tour should not be missed by fans of either artist!

Five Finger Death Punch Cancel Remaining European Tour Dates

Five Finger Death Punch have officially canceled their remaining European tour dates. The cancelation stems from singer Ivan Moody’s ongoing recovery from hernia surgery.

The band issued a statement confirming the news. They said, in part, “Ivan was recently seen by his medical team and they have now advised him to rest and refrain from travel until the beginning of July. This is to ensure he makes a full recovery and can be ready to start the North American leg of this tour on July 21st in York, PA without further interruption.”

FFDP was in Europe for select solo dates but also to provide support on Metallica’s world tour. With FFDP backing out of those dates with Metallica, Floor Jansen and Epica will fill in.

News of Moody’s hernia surgery broke in April . The FFDP frontman later took to Instagram to detail his surgery, revealing he had three hernias to treat . He said about his recovery, “I thought it would have been easy, however having all three done at the same time was a shock to my system, to say the least, using, of course, my diaphragm and my stomach to sing.”

Moody added, “Anyway, [the doctor] explained to me that the best thing to do would be to get it done now instead of prolonging it, having it rip and get worse, so that’s what I did. Again, my body didn’t take it as well as I thought it would, so here I am, not working.”

Canceled: Five Finger Death Punch’s Fall U.S. Tour With Papa Roach + More

UPDATE: Five Finger Death Punch have officially announced that their 2020 U.S. tour with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills has been canceled. Read a statement from the band toward the bottom of the page.

Five Finger Death Punch 's North American tour set to kick off in April was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic currently troubling the world. With their eyes on better days, the band has rescheduled the trek, which also features Papa Roach , I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills , which will now launch in late September.

Any ticket purchased for the original tour (dates here ) will be honored at the respective rescheduled show, so fans should hold on to those should they be able to attend the new date. The 24-stop tour will come to a close on Nov. 9 as Five Finger Death Punch continue to support their latest record,  F8 , which was released earlier this year, featuring standout tracks such as "Full Circle," "Living the Dream" and "Inside Out."

Speaking about the new record on the Loudwire Nights radio program, Death Punch singer Ivan Moody expressed confidence in the strength of the band's most recent work. "I'm gonna say it. The last two records for me were very... I don't know, norm," he admitted , noting, "We were under time constraints, we were touring all the time, I was going through personal hell."

"We needed to mutate. I didn't want to commit artistic suicide, which is really how I felt we were going," Moody continued, acknowledging there were still "brilliant" songs on more recent albums that preceded F8 , "But in their entirety, I just felt like there was something missing, and I didn't feel like we were doing anything special."
