Schottenstein Center Tour

Go behind the scenes on a guided tour of the Schottenstein Center, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes and arena to the stars!

• Club and Suite level 
• Tours must be scheduled at least one week in advance, but no more than 2 months.
• Tours are offered Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm (last tour can start at 4:00pm).
• Tours are not available on event days.  
• A 48-hour notice is required for a tour cancellation. If 48-hour notice is not given, the group will be charged.
• No food or drink is permitted in the Schottenstein Center.  
• $10.00 per person (5 person or $50 minimum per tour)
• $5.00 per additional guest.

Jack Nicklaus Museum Tour

Go behind the scenes on a self-guided tour of the Jack Nicklaus Museum, where the greatest story in golf comes alive!

• Presentation on Jack’s life and career
• Over 2,000 memorabilia pieces on display

• Tours can be scheduled day of at the museum. 
• Tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday between 9:00am and 5:00pm. 
• $10.00 per person.
• $5.00 per student (valid ID required).

What's Included?

Backstage dressing rooms where stars like Neil Diamond, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Jay Z, Kid Rock, and Garth Brooks have stayed.

Team locker room hallway.

Huntington Club, The Block O Lounge, The Boardroom and other premium hospitality spaces.

Award-winning terrazzo flooring featuring the history of Ohio State Athletics.

The Arena Floor where more than 100 events are hosted each year.

Scheduling a Tour

A seven-day notice is required to schedule a tour. Cannot schedule tours more than two months in advance due to the nature of concert tour scheduling.

Tours can be scheduled by appointment only on Monday through Friday at any time between 9:00am and 4:00pm (last tour can start at 4:00pm). A typical tour lasts between 1-1.25 hours.

Tours are not available on event days. Occasionally, tours will not be available the day prior to an event. Tours are not available on university holidays.

There are no “add-ons” to another group's tour. All tours are scheduled as private tours, therefore, we will not add you onto another group’s booking.

A 48-hour notice is required for a tour cancellation. If 48-hour notice is not given, the cost of the tour is not able to be refunded.

Book Online

To reserve your tour online, please select a tour date, time, and number of attendees below, then enter your payment details to complete your order. Tours may be scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00am and 4:00pm (last tour can start at 4:00pm), with at least a seven-day notice and no further out than two months from today's date.

All areas of the arena are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that all spaces (locker room hallway, hospitality rooms, suites, arena floor, etc.) will be available during your tour. We will do our best to minimize conflicts with spaces that may be unavailable during desired tour times.

This reservation is made with a contingency that an athletic team practice, competition, camp, concert, or special event may take precedence over this tour reservation. The Schottenstein Center reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel this reservation to accommodate an event. Every effort will be made to communicate any cancellations as soon as possible.

Please note that throughout the summer, we host a large number of sports camps and arena floor availability may be quite limited from June through July.

Ticket Pricing

10 individuals or fewer $50.00.

Each additional guest (more than 10) $5.00.

Children ages 2 and under are free.

Tour Guidelines

Guests may park in the Scarlet Lots adjacent to the arena, but are required to use the Pay-N-Display machines located in the lots to obtain a temporary parking pass. The Schottenstein Center will NOT be responsible for parking citations. For more information on Pay-by-Plate and visitor parking on campus visit the Surface Lot Parking page .

On the day of your reservation, a Schottenstein Center staff member will meet you at the Northwest Rotunda at your designated tour time.

There is a large amount of walking involved. Tours can be made accessible for those with disabilities.

Groups are permitted to take photos along the tour, but are prohibited from other physical activities (i.e. shooting a basketball, running across the gym, entering the ice).

No food or drinks are permitted inside the arena.
