LNER Stadium guide LNER Stadium, formerly known as Sincil Bank Stadium, is a football stadium in Lincoln, England. It is the home of Lincoln City Football Club and has a capacity of 10,780. The stadium was opened in 1895 and has been renovated several times since then. In 2019, it was renamed after its new sponsor, London North Eastern Railway.

From Lincoln City FC. Lincoln City was formed as an amateur side in 1884 on the back of the disbanded Lincoln Rovers. To begin with they played their games at John O'Gaunts Ground, but moved to Sincil Bank when it opened in 1895. As with most things in the city, Lincoln Cathedral dominates the stadium, which was sold by the club in 1982.
