Maria Tuttocuore was already working in the travel industry when she decided to pursue a master's degree. During her time at the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality, she completed two internships—one at Leading Hotels of the World and the other at the New York State Division of Tourism . She credits these two experiences with opening the doors to a job at the Monaco Government Tourist Office , where she was promoted to a senior executive sales & marketing position. Her experience in luxury travel and extensive knowledge in destination marketing and leisure trade led her into launching her own travel destination marketing and management company UNICA Journeys LLC based in New York City. Today she represents and consults a varied portfolio of international luxury travel companies.

Master Thesis
The purpose of the courses is to complete a research project in the form of a Master Thesis on a chosen topic, culminating students’ experiences in the program and validating them as master practitioners. Based upon the thesis proposal and under supervision from faculty, students will complete their thesis writing and orally defend their thesis.
Internship (optional)
Students can attend an optional 20-week internship (also in combination with the master thesis) with a company or organization that is from the tourism industry or involved with tourism activities after the completion of the first 10 modules. If it is a professionally relevant internship and includes a written scientific internship report (15-20 pages), students can obtain 30 extra ECTS credits.

What a Hospitality Management Degree Is and What Classes It Requires
The goal of any course of study in hospitality management is to train people to create and maintain spaces where others will immediately feel at home.
“Understanding how to take care of the customer is a foundational aspect of the hospitality discipline,” Angela Ramsey, senior director of communication at the University of Nevada—Las Vegas William F. Harrah College of Hospitality, explained in an email.
Hospitality management degrees are, foremost, degrees in business, says Michael Sabitoni, chair of the food and beverage management department and the international travel and tourism studies department at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. They include classes in accounting, finance, human resources, law and technology, he says.
However, unlike a general business degree, a hospitality degree typically includes specialized coursework focusing on the hospitality industry, such as classes on food service business operations, event management principles, and hotel and resort leadership, Sabitoni says. An overview class about tourism is also typically included in hospitality management programs, and industry internships are often mandatory, he adds.
Many hospitality degree programs require students to participate in experiential learning by helping to operate a student-run hotel or restaurant. They may also contain classes on:
- Eco-tourism or sustainable travel
- Global tourism and special considerations involved with international trips
- Customer service protocols
- Assessing the quality of guest experiences
- Specific types of hospitality establishments, such as country clubs, golf courses, resorts, stadiums, timeshares or theme parks
- Nuances involved in planning certain kinds of events, such as conventions or weddings
- Concerns that face certain demographics of customers, including women and people of color
- Various types of tourism, including business trips and visits to cultural destinations or historical sites
Top Undergraduate Schools With Hospitality Management Majors
Many U.S. colleges and universities allow undergraduates to major in hospitality management, including multiple nationally renowned academic institutions. Cornell University of New York, an Ivy League college, has a school devoted to hospitality.
Exceptional hospitality programs are often based in major metropolitan areas that attract significant tourism. For example, New York University and Boston University in Massachusetts offer a hospitality management degree.
How to Know if a Hospitality Management Degree Is Right for You
An interest in the food and beverage sector, a love for travel or an interest in entertaining people may lead someone to consider pursuing a degree in hospitality management. But prospective students should be aware that the hospitality sector has leadership roles for people with all kinds of interests and personalities.
Though some managerial positions in the hospitality industry are customer-facing jobs that require significant people skills, there are also back-of-the-house managerial jobs that concentrate on logistics, Sabitoni says.
Significant cultural awareness and strong communication abilities are essential in hospitality. Foreign language skills are also valuable but not mandatory, Sabitoni says.
What You Can Do With a Hospitality Management Degree
Hospitality programs are designed to train future leaders in the sector.
“It can include anything within the hospitality vertical, from hotel investment companies to real estate firms to our big brands which are the Marriotts, the Hiltons, the Four Seasons, to data analytics companies to Googles to Amazons,” says Kate Walsh, dean of the Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell. “Anything that touches hospitality as a part of their business product is something where our students get involved.”
Real estate investment firms often invest in hotel buildings, so people with degrees in hospitality management sometimes find jobs in the real estate sector, Walsh says. Alumni of hospitality management programs sometimes become management consultants who concentrate on assisting companies in the hospitality industry, she adds.
Executive and director roles in the industry typically require at least a bachelor's degree. Many high-level leadership positions at U.S. hospitality firms pay annual salaries above $70,000, according to an article published by Monster.com, a job website.
In 2020, graduates of Cornell's Nolan School had an average base salary of slightly over $69,000 and an average bonus of nearly $15,000, according to the school's employment report .
Considerations for Potential Hospitality Students
Aspiring hospitality managers should be aware of trends that may affect them when they enter the industry, experts say.
This sector has severe labor shortages at hotels and restaurants, many of which laid off workers due to pandemic-related safety measures and now have struggled to replace those workers even after raising wages.
Because of these staffing concerns, many hospitality companies have introduced initiatives to recruit and retain talented staff, improve working conditions, increase job satisfaction and reduce employee turnover, Walsh says.
When comparing hospitality programs, prospective students should investigate whether those programs include experiential learning opportunities, experts say, noting that hands-on projects are one of the best ways to gain hospitality skills. It’s also optimal if hospitality schools offer courses on design, which can inform aesthetic choices about how a hospitality venue looks, according to experts.
“I think the industry needs innovative thinkers," Walsh says. "They need people who think big culturally, who are comfortable with different modes of work, so it’s a great time to join the industry. The industry is trying to be extremely intentional in providing compelling career paths.”

- A completed bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
- A completed graduate diploma from a recognised higher education institution; or
- A completed graduate certificate from a recognised higher education institution.

This degree will develop your knowledge of the global business environment and enable you to maximise your career development opportunities and employment prospects. You will benefit from a range of experience-based learning opportunities, including overseas study trips and business mentorships with a senior business leader through the Executive Partners Program .
Your studies will focus on international business strategy, international trade, global marketing, and the impact and sustainability of tourism – the knowledge you will need to accelerate your career as a business professional in an international context.
What you'll learn
This two year program comprises 16 courses including 4 electives and an industry placement/project. You will start with seven core courses common to all specialisations in the IMBA. Through these you will develop advanced skills and expertise in areas of international management including:
- Global Business Environment
- People Leadership and Performance
- Economic Principles for Business
- Fundamentals of Data Analytics for Business.
You will then move into your tourism and event management specialisation studying areas such as the business of tourism, destination management, event management and digital innovations.
Degree structure
1. Students, who have taken, for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, may be granted up to one third of the program in credit or may substitute a course of equal standing and unit's value, with the approval of the Program Director. Credit will only be granted for courses undertaken at postgraduate level in a qualification that has not been used as the basis for Advanced Standing.
2. The Program Director may approve variations to the program of studies for a student by substituting courses from the program schedule with courses from other graduate level programs in this or another university.
3. Applicants who have completed a bachelor degree in a business discipline or who hold a bachelor degree which includes a major in business, commerce, marketing or management or applicants who have completed a graduate certificate in a business discipline are eligible to enter the program with 0.5 EFTSL (18 units) Advanced Standing in lieu of these courses and complete the program in 1.5 years of full time study or equivalent part time study.
4. This is a capstone course and should be completed at the end of the program.
5. Students enrolled in the International Master of Business Administration are eligible to transfer into Master of Management or any of the Master of Management specialisations after a semester of study.
1. To be selected from the specialisation elective list or may be used to complete an international exchange, internship or UniSA Business electives approved by the Program Director.
Study hours
For each course you study, you will need to allocate time for various classes such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and practicals. Plus you will need additional hours to study in your own time to complete assignments, readings and projects, as well as to contribute to online discussion forums (independent study). So as a general rule, if you are studying full-time you would need to allocate 12–26 hours of study when at university and 14–28 hours of independent study per week.

There is no closing date for submitting your application however the admissions process takes between one and three weeks from the date that we receive your application and all required supporting documentation.

You may be eligible to receive credit or advanced standing for your chosen UniSA degree based on your previous studies, if they are in a related area at an equivalent or higher level. Receiving credit will reduce the number of courses you undertake within the degree, and may also reduce the overall duration of your degree.
The amount of credit you may be eligible to receive is assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Admissions team.

The Department of Business Administration has been operating since the academic year 1999 the Postgraduate Program, entitled “Master in Business Administration – Tourism Management” (MBA – Tourism Management).
Given the diversity of the tourism industry and the diversity of knowledge and skills required, the Master’s degree is addressed to graduates in Business Administration, Economics, Science and Theoretical Sciences, who are already employed or will be employed in the Tourism Industry as well as in other more or less related professional activities.
The Postgraduate Studies Programme (MSc) in “Business Administration – Tourism Management”, aims to provide high level knowledge, principles and methods in this field, for the education and development of competent management executives. The curriculum aims at:
- Development of collaborations relevant to the subject- purpose of the programme with other higher education institutions in Greece or abroad.
Many of our graduates have made particularly successful careers, both in Greece and abroad, as Executives or Consultants in the Tourism industry and other Businesses such as Bank Executives and Executives in Supplier Companies (B2B) of the Tourism Sector and others. Graduates of the Programme have made very successful careers, both in Greece and abroad, as Executives or Consultants of Tourism and other Businesses as well as Executives of Banks and Suppliers (B2B) of the Tourism Sector and others. Graduates of the Programme have also made successful careers in Politics and Journalism as well as in the Academic Sector in Universities in Greece and Internationally.
The programme combines the courses of an MSc in Business Administration (MBA) with specialised subjects in Tourism Management. The faculty of the programme are academics with many years of experience in teaching at postgraduate level and senior executives from the tourism industry. Within the course, students will have the opportunity to get in touch with the business of the tourism industry at local and global level through lectures by market executives and field trips abroad to developed tourism countries.

The Department of Business Administration of the University of Piraeus was founded in 1984. The vision of the Department of Business Administration is to establish itself as one of the leading and internationally recognized departments of business administration, and to be at the forefront of business education in Greece, producing managers with a high level of training, innovative thinking, and business intelligence.

Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism celebrates first anniversary
Transformational year sets new path for hospitality and tourism education.

The new Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism in the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences made significant progress to meet the needs of students and the hospitality and tourism industry in Texas and beyond in its first year.
In 2023, the department was renamed and reformulated from the former Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences, which had established a nearly 60-year legacy of internationally recognized excellence in resource management, tourism and leisure sciences.
The department’s commitment is to provide a transformational educational experience that prepares a new generation of leaders in the hospitality, hotel management and tourism industry. To meet that goal, it has brought in new faculty with wide-ranging professional and scholarly experience, added new undergraduate degree tracks, increased internship opportunities and built new relationships across industries in which graduates will build careers.
Jeffrey W. Savell, Ph.D. , vice chancellor and dean for Agriculture and Life Sciences, said the name change for the department reflects an expanded, scientifically based focus on an enhanced human experience with the world.
“This new direction and additional areas of expertise increases our ability to understand and foster relationships among people, our environments and economies,” Savell said. “There’s no better place than Texas A&M to study and experience hospitality.”
Hospitality and tourism expertise
Department head Brian King, Ph.D., said the past year’s efforts allowed faculty and students to capitalize on growth trends in the hospitality and tourism industry, propelling their expertise to areas where they can have a positive influence at state, national and global levels.
New faculty members from across the world have been hired to complement existing faculty and expand the expertise in hospitality and tourism.
“We have identified and hired faculty with varied professional expertise and research interests to embrace a holistic approach that serves the needs of our students and of industry,” King said. “And while we are paying particular attention to new and emerging issues in hospitality and tourism, we are still focused on the core areas that have served as the foundations of the department.”
New undergraduate degree tracks
In the past year, the department has also added three new undergraduate degree tracks in hospitality, hotel management and tourism – Hotel and Resort Management, Business Hospitality, and Event, Tourism and Recreation Management.
The Business Hospitality track is a unique degree plan that allows students to take classes in the department as well as in Mays Business School at Texas A&M.
“By adding new degree tracks, we are offering our students more avenues to pursue and align their academic interests with their career goals,” King said.
As a way of giving students more exposure to the scholarly work and research being done in the department, a Hospitality and Tourism Scholars Symposium was held earlier this year. The symposium gave students the opportunity to participate in scholarly exchange with leading researchers from across the nation and within the College, especially those with academic or professional links to aspects of hospitality and tourism.
Increased hands-on learning through industry collaborations
King said a key department goal is strengthening relationships with industry and community partners both within Texas and across the world.
He credits existing and new collaborations with industry organizations, community colleges, donors and others for the ability to provide students with a robust and comprehensive approach to learning, including internships, practical involvement in event management, study abroad opportunities and other means of getting exposure in the field.
“In the past year, the department has expanded its internship partnerships to give students more opportunities to experience the relationship between classroom theory and practical applications,” he said. “This approach enables them to acquire and develop the skills and competencies needed to transition into full-time roles in a hospitality or related career.”
King said one major initiative has been to partner more closely with the hospitality industry as exemplified by the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center on the Texas A&M campus in College Station. The facility, operated by Pyramid Global Hospitality , offers students paid operational and supervisory internships in Texas, the U.S. and internationally through its portfolio of more than 240 hotel and resort properties.
Another example is the department’s association with Miramont Country Club in Bryan, which offers internships that provide students with a well-rounded view of club management and how each dimension of the business enhances the club member experience.
King said donor generosity in addition to the industry collaborations have helped provide opportunities for students, including a Disney Hospitality Operations Trip with Walt Disney ; educational trips to the Caribbean, Scotland and England; and a first-ever study abroad to Antarctica.
Strategic guidance with an advisory board
Through such relationships, King said partners will serve as industry-based teachers, offering interns instruction and supervision in various operational divisions to acquire and develop professional competencies.
To further enhance ties to the industry, the department formed an advisory board to provide strategic advice and offer expert guidance on the development of new partnerships. Robert “Hunter” Goodwin, who serves as head of the advisory board, is the owner, chief operating officer and director of hospitality at Oldham Goodwin Group LLC in Bryan-College Station.
“The advisory board is a tool for the department to use in establishing and reaching its goals,” Goodwin said. “We want to take the reputation established by the former department and of Texas A&M University as a whole and expand that into new areas of hospitality, hotel management and tourism. Some of our efforts will include building new partnerships and reaching out to parents, teachers, guidance counselors and youth to make them aware of career opportunities in hospitality and tourism.”
Looking to the future
King said this summer a new cohort of top-notch graduate students arrived to support new research opportunities as the department’s scholars broaden their reach and explore new domains such as wellness, sustainability, the use of artificial intelligence and post-COVID travel.
“During the next year, we will add three more new professors with expertise in various areas of hospitality, hotel management and tourism,” he said. “One of our primary goals in bringing together faculty resources with varied expertise is to help mobilize the visitor economy in Texas and attract global interest and recognition. This also helps solidify our approach to research, outreach and instruction, opening doors for our faculty and students to benefit our core areas and the hospitality and tourism industry.”

An Inside Look at New York’s Dominant Hospitality Industry

Throughout his childhood, Eli Massachi traveled extensively. He explored new places, interacted with diverse people, and unlocked a new fascination with the world of hospitality. “I immediately fell in love with it,” says Eli. “Hospitality is a global and multicultural industry, driven by people and connections. Based on my own travel experiences, I knew I wanted a career in the industry. That’s what inspired me to pursue the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Management degree at NYU.”
Eli’s academic pursuits led him to NYU’s Hospitality Business Society (HBS). HBS is a student-run club offered by the School of Professional Studies . Chiefly, the club connects its members with key resources in New York’s dominant hospitality industry. Because of this, Eli saw it as an opportunity to get involved and hone his leadership skills.
“In high school, I didn’t participate in many student organizations. I wanted to change that in college,” he explains. “I joined HBS and was fortunate to be elected vice president. On the executive board, I learned the importance of leadership and public speaking. It also helped me hone my organizational skills and provided me with a sense of fulfillment in planning events that benefit our members.”
Introducing NYU’s Hospitality Business Society
While HBS attracts many hospitality majors at NYU, all students from across the university are welcome to join. Every year, the club plans a range of professional development and networking events to connect members with different facets of New York City’s hospitality community. The professional development events can focus on resume building, cover letter workshops, interview preparation, and how to navigate LinkedIn.
“Tours at various hospitality establishments, like hotels, event venues, and restaurants, are key events for us each year,” says Nicole Schwartz, a Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Management major and HBS president. “For example, we toured establishments such as the renowned Ritz-Carlton, Union Square Cafe, The Pierre, and the Equinox Hotel. Most recently, we had the pleasure of touring a Korean fine dining restaurant called Jungsik.”
In addition to property tours, HBS hosts a career fair and networking panels with alumni, professors, and industry professionals. What’s more, they host conferences with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
“The career fair is something HBS recently started, so I’m very excited about it,” says Joshua Jeong. He’s also studying Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Management, and is the HBS treasurer. “Last semester, approximately 15 companies attended the fair. They ranged from destination marketing organizations to travel agencies, to established hotels to food and beverage companies. In the future, we hope it becomes a place where students can learn more about the industry and discover an area to pursue after graduation.”
Invaluable Professional Development Opportunities
Eli says HBS events, especially the tours, enabled him to “explore the city and experience the real world of hospitality in New York.” In addition, these events often lead to networking opportunities and professional connections. “Meeting the executive management team after a site visit or chatting with a panelist after a speaker event opens up many doors for internships and career advancement,” Eli says. “These are invaluable opportunities for our members.”
Through HBS, students have unique access to opportunities and communities in New York they likely wouldn’t have outside of NYU. For many of its members, HBS has played a critical role in their NYU experience.
“HBS has been an integral part of my NYU journey,” says Nicole. “I expanded my leadership skills, networked with industry professionals, and developed lasting connections with people who helped me achieve my academic pursuits and professional goals. So, I am grateful for the role HBS has played in my growth. The opportunity to meet with, learn from, and listen to hospitality experts impacted me on both a personal and professional level.”

Tourism course opens, second class graduates.
RAYMOND, Miss. -- October marks an exciting milestone for Mississippi tourism professionals who will complete training in a one-of-a-kind program.
Trainees in the second annual Excellence in Tourism Leadership Program will receive their certificates of completion at the 2024 Governor’s Conference on Tourism, an annual event hosted by the Mississippi Tourism Association.
The two-year program helps tourism professionals learn how to market and increase tourism while gaining insight into leadership, advocacy, public policy and administration. Participants can earn an associate certificate and an advanced mastery certificate.
Educators with the Mississippi State University Extension Center for Government and Community Development designed and implemented the program in partnership with the MTA. MSU experts and industry professionals provide training.
For 2023 graduate Kim Lewis, manager of Visit Jackson Tourism and Destination Development, the program helped her learn new ways to accomplish goals.
“This experience transformed my approach to collaboration and innovation, revealing that my insights were valuable beyond my specific area of expertise,” Lewis said.
In the first year of the program, participants complete coursework and attend in-person events to earn an associate certificate. More advanced training is available in the master certificate program, which requires additional coursework, the completion of a project and a presentation to the class.
Coursework is both online and in person. In-person sessions are held in conjunction with MTA events. Course participants can also earn credit by attending the Alabama-Mississippi-Tennessee Rural Tourism Conference.
“When it comes to tourism, it is important our communities have effective leaders with unique skills to facilitate positive and lasting change in vibrant and growing communities,” said Rachael Carter, an instructor with the Center for Government and Community Development. “This program will help communities build that capacity of community leaders by helping them gain the vision and skill necessary to make it happen.”
Danielle Morgan, executive director of MTA, said the program is instrumental in helping strengthen the state’s growing tourism industry.
“The Excellence in Tourism Leadership Program provides a path to strengthen industry leaders so we can continue to achieve our vision: transforming Mississippi’s economy through increased visitor spending and overall travel industry growth,” Morgan said.
Registration is now open to those that want to be part of the next class, which begins in January 2025. Seats are limited, and program entry is competitive. Participants must submit their applications along with a letter of recommendation from an employer or tourism organization by Dec. 1, 2024. A tuition fee of $500 is due at the beginning of each certificate program for a total cost over two years of $1,000.

Every application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and all applicants must submit the following documents and meet the minimum requirements for admission:

- Official bachelor’s degree transcripts with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- At least 15 hours of upper level (300-400 level) undergraduate coursework in business or our BMAL 590 course with a graduate GPA of 3.0
- Self-certification form (for students who are in the final term of their bachelor’s degree)

FAFSA and Loan Information
Most graduate students qualify for $20,500 in student loans through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – and even more in certain health fields!
There are two types of federal loan options available to grad students:
- Direct Unsubsidized Loans (Stafford) – loans made to eligible undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, but eligibility is not based on financial need.
- Graduate PLUS Loans – loans made to graduate or professional students and parents of dependent undergraduate students to help pay for education expenses not covered by other financial aid. Eligibility is not based on financial need , but a credit check is required. If you have a bankruptcy, foreclosure, or an account in collections, you may be denied.
Tuition Costs
Liberty University provides master’s programs at just $545* per credit hour. Most courses will be paid by credit hour except the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity block rate of $2,850 per semester for 9-15 credit hours. Most graduate programs average from 35-45 credit hours to complete.

Located directly behind Arthur S. DeMoss Hall, the Montview Student Union is a 4-story, 168,000-square-foot structure that includes a lounge overlooking the Academic Commons, retail dining venues, an art gallery, a ballroom, and a bowling alley. The building also has space for academics, meetings, and offices.
The Liberty Baseball Stadium features the latest turf playing surface, as well as full-length, major league-style dugouts, a fully-equipped media area, two suites, a club room, and a spectator picnic area.
The Center for Medical and Health Sciences (CMHS) is a state-of-the-art modern learning facility for Liberty University's College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) and School of Health Sciences. Sitting on Liberty Mountain, the 140,000 square-foot, four-story facility offers breathtaking views of the valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north and west.
The Center for Music and the Worship Arts features 124 Steinway pianos and 43 teaching studios complete with piano, songwriting, and music computer labs. Additionally, the center includes a 1,600-seat concert hall.
The Center for Natural Sciences houses classrooms, an auditorium, and more than 30 laboratories designed for hands-on learning, including an advanced anatomy lab and a cell culture lab. The facility has more than $2 million in equipment, including a GC mass spectrometer and a gene sequencer.
As the primary academic building on campus, Arthur S. DeMoss Hall spans 500,000 square feet over four floors and houses computer labs, classrooms and student resource centers, and a rooftop terrace.
Jerry Falwell Library houses an array of study spaces including six learning commons, one technology commons, and 30 group-study rooms. Multiple terraces and balconies provide additional space to relax, and several dining options are available. Taking advantage of the latest technology, the ASRS, a robotic retrieval system, houses the majority of the library’s collections in a state-of-the-art automated on-site retrieval system.
The 275-foot-tall Freedom Tower, home of the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity, the nation’s largest center for religious studies and ministerial training, includes classrooms and offices, a conference room, a homiletics lab, and an interactive classroom, as well as observation spaces to take in the spectacular views of campus.
The LaHaye Ice Center is home to Liberty men's and women's hockey teams, as well as the synchronized skating and figure skating teams. Recently renovated, the ice center seats 4,000 fans and includes 10 box suites.
Whichever way you like to break a sweat, you can do it here! The recreation center has weight rooms, cardio lofts, private classrooms, an indoor track, pools, a rock wall, soccer fields, and basketball courts.
The Reber-Thomas Dining Center (Liberty’s dining hall) is a two-story, 120,000-square-foot all-you-care-to-eat buffet that boasts a seating capacity of more than 2,700. It provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers over 20 unique stations to choose from.
The Residential Commons are comprised of three residence halls. The rooms feature a private bath, and every floor provides laundry facilities and a common lounge. Additional residential facilities are also planned for the site.
The three-story structure serves as a home base for the School of Business, which includes 152 programs from the certificate to the doctoral level, as well as centers of excellence focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, cybersecurity, and stock trading. On the first floor, a stock trading simulation room, operating in partnership with Truist, features an LED stock ticker that wraps around the top of the room and streams the latest market activity from Wall Street.
The Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre offers students the opportunity to ski, snowboard, and tube year-round with its cutting-edge terrain technology.
Tower Theater is home to Liberty’s Department of Theatre Arts as well as the professional theatre company, Alluvion Stage Company. Tower Theater features a Broadway-style fly tower and professional rigging system and has over 12,000 square feet of backstage and support area.
This auditorium’s 10,000 seats are filled by students at Convocation and Campus Community, concert-goers, and athletic event attendees.
The stadium’s 25,000 seats host the fans of our FBS conference football team. Williams Stadium also boasts a 110-foot viewing tower and houses the Football Operations Center, containing locker rooms, coaches’ offices, equipment, and weight rooms, and a training facility.

70-year-old charged for sexual abuse in New York
A MAN bearing the name "Michael Annisette" was charged in New York for the criminal offences of "forcible touch – intimate parts" and "sexual abuse in the third degree" that is, subjecting someone to sexual contact without their consent.
The charges were revealed by the Webcriminal search engine of the New York State Unified Court System.
Newsday could not ascertain if the defendant was the Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union (SWWTU) leader of the same name.
Newsday tried to call the local trade union leader but got no response. Calls to two other trade union leaders in NATUC went unanswered.
The summary of details for case CR-027653-24QN said the defendant was born in 1953, (thereby making him 70 or 71).
The alleged incident occurred on August 9, with the arrest being made on August 11, by officer of New York City Police Department precinct 103.
Annisette appeared before judge Edward F Daniels on August 13.
The case was adjourned. During the hearing he was arraigned (or charged). Annisette pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor requested that bail be imposed, but Annisette was released from custody without bail while the case is pending.
He is due back in court on October 9 at 9 am, before a judge to be announced.
The defence attorney is Shanaz Chowdhurry of 12046 Queens Boulevard, Kew Gardens, New York, who was engaged via legal aid.
