Hit the road with The Boss as Hulu releases the trailer for Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band

T ramps like us were born to run, and Bruce Springsteen was born to perform. The iconic musician, who has made hits like “Born to Run”, “ Dancing in the Dark ” and “Born in the U.S.A.”, celebrated his 75th birthday yesterday, and today, Hulu has released the trailer for the upcoming tour documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band .

In the trailer for Road Diary , you get an account from Springsteen and The E Street Band members as they embark on their latest tour. The film premieres Friday, October 25 on Hulu and Disney+. ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos will also sit down with Bruce Springsteen ahead of the release of the Hulu Original film for a wide-ranging conversation in an ABC News Studios primetime special, Bruce Springsteen: Backstage and Backstreets , airing Sunday, Oct. 20 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC, next day on Hulu, Disney+.

The official synopsis reads,

“Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band offer the most in-depth look ever at the creation of their legendary live performances – sharing fly-on-the-wall footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage – as well as hearing directly from Springsteen on the topic. Fans get the chance to experience professionally shot footage from the 2023-2024 tour for the first time ever – while following the band through their one-of-a-kind preparation process, and onto performances for tens-of-thousands across continents.”

Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band was directed by Springsteen’s longtime collaborator, Emmy® and GRAMMY® Award winner Thom Zimny, and produced by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau, Thom Zimny, Adrienne Gerard, and Sean Stuart.

Additionally, Springsteen fans will have Jeremy Allen White ‘s biopic to look forward to. That film is based on Warren Zanes’ essential book for any Bruce fan,  Deliver Me From Where , which will track the evolution and making of 1982’s  Nebraska , a minimal and intimate follow-up to double album  The River . White is set to play The Boss, while Jeremy Strong has been cast to play longtime manager Jon Landau. As per the book’s publisher, “ Nebraska  expressed a turmoil that was reflective of the mood of the country, but it was also a symptom of trouble in the artist’s life, the beginnings of a mental breakdown that Springsteen would only talk about openly decades after the album’s release.”

Bruce Springsteen at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light: timings, tickets and everything you need to know

The Boss is playing a huge gig in the northeast – one of only four UK stops on his 2024 World Tour

Springsteeners, the time finally has finally come. Tonight is the night that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band arrive in Sunderland for their massive gig at the Stadium of Light. The show is one of very few that the Boss has announced for the UK this year, so expect as huge a show from him as ever.

Springsteen has already played huge UK gigs in Cardiff and Belfast – and both shows saw him come out all-guns-blazing with vast three-hour sets packed with hits. The Stadium of Light, with its 48,000+ capacity, will be a fittingly raucous venue for Bruce and his band. It’s his first show in the northeast since 2012.

Bruce Springsteen will hit the road again in 2023 for at least 30 scheduled shows. He kicks off the tour in Tampa on Feb. 1 and wraps up in -- where else -- New Jersey, at the Prudential Center in Newark, on April 14.

Bruce Springsteen is back on tour after taking a break for illness

Following a slew of cancelled shows last year, the Boss played an electrifying gig in Phoenix this week.

“The Boss” is back, baby!

Following a peptic ulcer disease diagnosis , the “Born To Run” singer had to postpone a string of performances last year, including two August shows at Citizens Bank Park . In September, he announced he would be taking time off to recover. But now, the rock phenom is finally back in action.

On Tuesday, Springsteen, 74, and the E Street Band played at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, opening with a “Good evening, Arizona” to the crowd, followed by the crowd-stirring “Lonesome Day.” His 29-song performance proved to be a “triumphant reboot” for the iconic musician, who showed no signs of his past ailment during the three-hour show, according to the Associated Press .

Aside from “Born in the U.S.A.,” Springsteen performed signature hits like “Rosalita,” “No Surrender,” “Glory Days,” and “Dancing In The Dark,” while adding a few covers to the mix. According to ABC News , the heralded rocker played “Nightshift” by the Commodores and a surprising rendition of “Twist and Shout” by the Isley Brothers.

“Phoenix, first I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time … I hope we didn’t inconvenience you too much,” Springsteen, who postponed nearly 30 shows on his world tour last year, said before closing out the show.

Springsteen, decked in a red plaid flannel shirt and dark jeans, was lauded by fans for his lively energy and physique. While many marveled at the 74-year-old artist’s very fit shape, others jokingly compared Springsteen to svelte British actress Tilda Swinton.

“Absolutely thought this was Tilda Swinton in a new role where she plays a wrestler,” one Twitter/X user commented on a picture of Springsteen with his half-unbuttoned shirt.

“Actually, [we] never seen [Tilda] Swinton and Bruce Springsteen in the same room… new conspiracy just dropped,” the same user later tweeted.

Springsteen’s Phoenix date marked the first stop on his 2024 world tour. Before ending in Vancouver, Canada on Nov. 22, he and the E Street Band will play in 17 countries across 52 dates.

They will return to “Streets of Philadelphia” on Aug. 21 and Aug. 23 , and then drop into Springsteen’s hometown of Asbury Park, N.J. for a sold-out Sea.Hear.Now Festival show on Sept. 15.

The Legend Of Zelda: Every Game Ranked By Difficulty

Nintendo could complete its princess trifecta with a daisy game, the legend of zelda: echoes of wisdom - lord jabu jabu boss guide, quick links, mogryph fight overview, how to defeat mogryph, rewards for defeating mogryph.

Gerudo Sanctum is a challenging dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom , and once you reach its end, you’ll be greeted by a grumpy mole wearing what appears to be blue sunglasses. An unorthodox creature, but don’t let his tongue-in-cheek appearance fool you.

The Legend of Zelda has had loads of games over its long history, but which ones are the hardest?

Come prepared with smoothies that increase movement speed, restore your power, and heal up a decent number of hearts, because this fella hits hard. And here’s exactly how to destroy him.

You will have encountered moles in the Gerudo desert before as part of the main quest. These are able to dig holes in chunks of sand and provide Zelda with an opening to leap down. It’s unfortunate then that their big brother is somewhat of a bully, and wants Zelda off his turf.

The Gerudo Sandals can help you move faster through quicksand, which is essential for this fight if you want to avoid being taken for a ride.

The combat arena begins as a square pit of sand with exotic statues standing in each of the four corners. These don’t factor into the fight, so ignore them . After taking a decent amount of damage, Mogryph will transform the space into four platforms, all surrounded by pits of quicksand. Keep on moving away from his attacks, however, and you’ll be fine.

Begin the fight by summoning a couple of offensive echoes like the Darknut or Bokoblin and taking on Zelda’s Swordfighter form . Now equipped with a bow, it will be much easier to beat Mogryph as he moves around the area by digging underground. He will emerge on occasion to unleash long-range melee attacks that send barrages of sand flying towards you.

He also has a less common diving attack in which he’ll jump out of the sand and scrape his claws at Zelda , although this is easily avoided so long as you keep your distance.

These attacks will also see piles of sand pouring down from the ceiling. Hit them to get bonus hearts and increase your power gauge. Mogryph can also destroy them.

Continue with this strategy until Mogryph vanishes from sight and begins to change the battlefield. You now have four small platforms and a sea of quicksand to deal with , and the boss has grown a pair of wings which allow him to soar into the sky and out of sight.

After gaining flight, Mogryph will retreat to a corner of the arena and begin firing tornados at Zelda that both push her back and cause damage. Strafe around these until the attacks stop and then get ready to counter a flurry of airborne attacks. Begin placing rocks near the faint shadow of Mogryph and wait for him to attack. If done right, he will hit it and be stunned.

You can stun Mogryph much earlier in the battle with some excellent timing, but it will require you to predict his rare slide attacks and place a rock at just the right moment.

Use this opportunity to deal as much damage as possible, since Mogryph won’t stay trapped for long. His attack patterns don’t change for the rest of the fight, although he will move and attack much faster the closer he comes to death. Zelda’s spin can be a saving grace here.

Repeat the diving rock trick we mentioned earlier, stun Mogryph a final time, and victory will be yours.

As a main dungeon boss, Mogryph will award Zelda with a full piece of heart after defeat, and Tri will gain the ability to summon higher-level echoes for one point less. You’ll also get power crystals to spend on upgrading your weapons.

I can’t keep pretending to care this much about Sarasaland to justify my girl being in the party games, Nintendo, please.

Adrian Kinderis co-founded the Bombora Technologies group of companies (formerly AusRegistry Group) in 1999. After a successful exit, he went on to pioneer a number of businesses, such as Linga Network (an electric car network), Guest Check (a covid check in application) and many others. His passion for problem solving and technology has helped Adrian provide such valuable solutions to Australia and countries globally.

Steve Pizzati

Steve Pizzati is an Australian race driver, driving instructor, television presenter and free-lance motoring journalist. In 2008, he was selected from 4,000 applicants to be one of the presenters of  Top Gear Australia  on SBS TV. In 2010 he was the only host selected by the Nine Network to continue with the new broadcaster thus making him the only host to have been a part of all four series of the show.
