Part I: From Lima to the Nazca Desert. 05:00 h. Our driver picks you up from your hotel in Lima. Shortly after we drive towards the south, following the Pan-American highway.

Along the way, we will be able to enjoy great panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. After passing some coastal cities, we will reach the Nazca airport. At the airport, we will receive information about the Nazca Lines from our local guide. Afterward, we meet our pilot, who will provide some safety instructions about the flight. Before taking off, you will receive a Nazca Lines Map for orientation.

Part II: Flying Over the Pampa of Nazca.

Just two minutes after taking off, you will be able to see the Nazca Pampas. After crossing over the Nazca river, we will find the first drawing of the circuit.

This figure is the whale, a marine creature that measures approximately 65 m in length. For a better view, our pilot will fly over the figure in circles. During this aerial tour, we will see the most famous Nazca drawings.

Among them, you will see huge triangles and rectangles that resemble ancient airstrips. Further west, we will find the astronaut figure, which measures 35 meters in length. Unlike the other geoglyphs, the astronaut was etched on a hillside and not on the flat ground.

Part III: Flying over the Pampa of Jumana.

At the center of the Jumana desert, we will find an enormous monkey. Without a doubt, this primate is by far one of the most beautiful geoglyphs in the zone. It is indeed an iconic symbol for the Nazca Culture.

Some kilometers to the west, at a corner of the desert plateau we find a hummingbird. This bird is so well preserved that one can see every detail of its body. According to some scholars, this bird is associated with the summer solstice.

At another corner of the desert, we can find a huge bird as long as 3 soccer fields. It is a heron with a long beak in form of a zig-zag, which makes us belives it represents the rivers. Around this bird, we will also find a parrot, a tree, and a figure local call the frog.

Finally, we will land at the Nazca airport, and meet our driver. Later on, we drive to the modern city of Nazca for lunch.

After lunch we return to Lima, making a stop on the Nazca desert to visit the metallic tower. This tower is located next to the highway, and from its top, we can see some figures as well as various lines. We will be arriving in Lima around 8:00 pm. Our driver will drop you off at your hotel.

Cancellation due to Weather Conditions: In the event of bad weather conditions, your flight will be re-arranged for a later time or the next day. If by reasons beyond your control, you can not wait, then your booking will be canceled and a charge of 20% will be applied.

Nazca Lines and Paracas Bay Tour

Part I: Travel from Lima to the Pisco Airport. 05:00 h. Our tour begins early in the morning. Our driver picks you up from your hotel in Lima. As the sun rises, we begin our journey southward towards the charming City of Pisco. Throughout the journey, you’ll travel in style within a private vehicle, accompanied by our local guide.

Part II: Flight over the Nazca Desert. Upon reaching Pisco, we make our way to the local airport, nestled in the southern part of the city. Prepare for an exhilarating experience as we step onto our spacious Caravan Cessna aircraft. With room for 12 passengers, each person gets to enjoy the luxury of a window seat. To enrich your aerial adventure, our pilot will provide each participant with a Nazca Lines Map. This valuable tool will help you readily recognize and appreciate the geoglyphs etched into the desert below. You’ll spot the likenesses of a whale, a monkey, and a dog, each meticulously etched onto the Nazca plateau. Moreover, the desert’s expanse plays host to an avian spectacle, featuring colossal representations of a condor, a hummingbird, and a heron, some spanning as vast as three soccer fields. Amidst these wonders, the most remarkable figure of all is the enigmatic Astronaut, peculiar entity with a large head and expansive eyes. Together with my wife we travel to Nazca for a two days. We've tried to find a tour to San Fernando park. The only one company who helped us was Nazca Trips. At 10 PM the manadger of company Raul find to us buggy to ride and a guide for the next day trip! Thanks to him we get this great and fantastic tour. Speccial thanks to the guide Susy. She was exellent, tell us about everything and always help to have a photo and to see a great view. Nazca Trips is good and reliable company and i recommend it!

Después de muchos años viajando y habiendo visitado más de 60 países del mundo, vinimos a Perú. Los dos primeros días, estuvimos en un tour organizado por Raúl de Nasca Trips y su equipo. Sheila, guiándonos a lo largo de los dos días, Jesús llevándonos de forma segura a todas partes Edgardo explicándonos el desierto de la reserva de Paracas, después de ir a ver todo tipo de animales marinos. Pepe haciendonos saltar por las dunas en el buggie y asesorándonos con el sandboarding. Y el antropólogo Jansen, explicándonos las líneas de Nasca, la pirámide de Cauhachi, los acueductos y otros muchos sitios fsscinantes. Lo hemos pasado muy bien, y hemos disfrutado mucho. Somos un grupo de 7 personas y nos hemos sentido muy bien cuidados por cada miembro del equipo. Booked a nazca and palpa lines land tour with Raul last week as the flight tour was not available that day. The tour guide-Julio picked me up promptly and took me to serval lookouts and the museum. He was nice, kind and patient. The geoglyphs were amazing and the whole trip was pleasant though the main mirador for nazca lines was closed due to political reason. We were able to see the big feline at hillside that was discovered not long ago as well.

He de decir que la visita a los acueductos, ruinas cercanas a Nazca y la explicación de Julio el guía todo fue correcto y muy buen trato hacia nosotros, así como el vuelo para ver las líneas fue genial y totalmente recomendable, trabajan muy bien en esta agencia, Raúl, también nos ayudó en todo momento con la reserva del tour y facilitó toda la información necesaria, no obstante, la visita a un taller "artesano" fue un robo en toda regla. Nos llevaron a un taller supuestamente artesano donde supuestamente todo lo que allí había a la venta era artesano hecho por 10 familias en Perú, el chico del taller te invita a adquirir sus creaciones "artesanas" tras explicarte cómo las fabrican, cuál es la sorpresa?? Que todo Perú está inundado de las mismas piezas, allá donde vayas y a un precio infinitamente inferior. Creo que es un engaño total por parte de este taller venderte algo como artesano cuando no lo es. Si eligen esta agencia no vayan al taller artesano, es un engaño, y si van, no compren.

Raul will take good care of you. As an educated historian he has deep knowledge and an enthusiastic interest in the Nazca region archeological sites. He took me to two sites in particular I had no previous knowledge of but blew me away. His lunch recommendation was amazing.

Well organised tour with a lot of additional information about the history of the Nazca lines.

During my years of traveling and backpacking, I have come across many many tourist guides, but very very few of them would see you as their family member. This is not the style of Raul, he genuinely sees my requests as his and handles them neatly. From picking me up at the bus station at 6 AM, to welcoming me to his home and meeting his parents and brother, to transferring me to the airport for the Nasca line flight, to whisking me through the town to get my phone recharged, then dropping me at the bus stop for the collectivo to the torre mirador, Paul has been so caring, responsive and respectful with a mindset on how to serve his clients the best way he could. Day 1: lima - paracas.

6:30am - 7:00am

Depart Lima - We pick up directly from hostels and hotels for safety and comfort. If staying in an Airbnb just email us. Your booking confirmation (ticket) will show you your exact pick-up time (depends on where you are staying!)

Breakfast Stop - We stop for the chance to try a unique breakfast straight from the bread ovens of Mirasur – Enjoy some of the freshest baked bread in Peru! (breakfast not included)

Secret Slave Tunnels – Visit Hacienda San Jose and discover the jaw-dropping secret tunnels. Once used to smuggle slaves, these tunnels can be found below the hacienda, where you will also learn about a darker side to Peruvian history.

Day 2: Paracas - Huacachina

We start our day! Meeting point is Los Frayles Residencial Hotel.

7:30am - 9:30am

Ballestas Islands – 2 hour boat tour of the islands. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos, and just as great. You’ll see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds all in there natural habitat. If you’re lucky, you may even see a dolphin or two!

10:00am - 12:00pm

Depart from Paracas - Meeting point is Los Frayles Residencial Hotel.

Paracas National Reserve – Guided tour of one of South America’s biggest protected desert reserves. Stunning Pacific coastline where desert meets ocean.

Dunebuggy and sandboarding – 2 hours full of adrenaline. Ride the dune buggies up and sandboard down the biggest dunes in South America. A once in a lifetime experience in the only natural desert oasis in South America.

Nazca Lines Flight – A flight over the Nazca Lines is the only way to truly appreciate from a unique perspective, the immense scale and intricate details of the famous Nazca Lines, huge geoglyphs etched into the Nazca Desert. Best viewed from the air the Nazca Lines include various shapes such as animals, plants, and geometric patterns, with some of the most famous figures being the monkey, spider, and hummingbird.

Free time in Nazca. Roam around the desert city and discover some of it's landmarks like Plaza de Armas!

Acueductos de Cantalloc – Considered one of the oldest irrigational systems in the world. These ancient water aqueducts built 2000 years ago enabled the Nazca Culture to bring water from the Andes to the Nazca Valley via underground channels, bringing life to the desert lowlands.

Why is Peru Hop better than trying to do it myself?

Simply put, it is very hard to do this itinerary by yourself without Peru Hop. Public buses do NOT go to Huacachina, they only go as far as Ica, so you would have to then arrange separate transport to and from Ica. As well as this, you would also have to coordinate getting to the bus terminals and from the bus terminals on your late return to Lima.

Trip from Lima to Islas Ballestas – Huacachina – Paracas

There are several ways to get to the Nazca Lines. Our itinerary begins with the pick-up service at 06:00 to start the trip south of Lima until we reach the port of Paracas and board the boat for a guided tour of the Ballestas Islands.

In the afternoon, explore the oasis of Huacachina to experience the adrenaline in tubular vehicles to go up and down the incredible dunes of Huacachina and conclude the activities of the first day by sliding down one of the dunes on boards. Overnight at the hotel in Paracas

From the hotel in Paracas, only 16 minutes away from the trip to the Pisco airport, Pisco begins its overflight towards the Nazca Lines; “the entire overflight lasts a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes approximately.”

• Customers are responsible for purchasing shared service flyover tickets or renting a chartered aircraft.
• Overflight to Nazca from Ica, available from the Pisco Airport. Price: approximately USD 280 per person (shared). The client chooses the flight company of their choice on the day of the flight!
• Flight schedules are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• There are some delays! The exact flight departure depends on weather conditions and air traffic; the Peruvian Air Force issues daily flight authorizations. Sometimes, the flight can take between 30 minutes and 5 hours due to fog, etc.
• Flight time : 1 hour and 35 minutes of a panoramic flight over the Nazca from Pisco.
