Bhutan Travels

Throughout the whole process our experience with Jacada has been excellent. Ellie worked closely with us to develop an itinerary which when set was administrated efficiently by Jessica. All the arrangements were flawless once in Bhutan. The accommodations were incredible - all among the best we have ever stayed in. Also, very importantly the Guide (Dawa Zam Wangyel) and Driver (Kumar Mongar) were top notch, and we would strongly recommend that they be considered for future Jacada clients. They took very good care of us, and we learned a lot from them and genuinely enjoyed their company.

Perfect trip to Croatia!

Meg and Symmone planned the PERFECT 8 night trip to Croatia. We landed in Split, traveled by private boat to Brac Island and ended in Dubrovnik. The local guides, cooking class, Krka waterfalls, and restaurants were fantastic, the best restaurant was Sanjkovic winery on Brac Island, Michelin level food and incredibly inventive and delicious. Thank you for one of our best trips!!!

Emily and Grace were lovely to work…

Emily and Grace were lovely to work with and communicated with us on every aspect of planning the most perfect honeymoon to South Africa! Our stays were beyond our expectations and the connecting flights and details of travel went smoothly because they handled it all for us!!

I would absolutely use Jacada again.

Ana White Vilardell was exceptional to work with from start to finish. We worked together for 9 months and she stuck beside me every step of the way. I traveled alone for over two weeks and I didn’t have to stress, or worry about anything. All I had to do was refer to my itinerary daily and everything else was taken care of. Meg and Ana partnered to curate the experience I envisioned for my 50th birthday. I cannot thank this duo enough for making my birthday the best one yet.

Cultural journey through Istanbul, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro.

Kate and Symmone exceeded all expectations by crafting for us a personalized 4 country, 29 day cultural journey focused on different cultures, local people, local food, "off the path" excursions, history, scenery, stories, smiles, and laughter. They did a great job understanding how we like to travel, our expectations, and goals. Every detail of this adventure was taken care of and executed to perfection. Guides, hotels, and transportation were exceptional, as expected.. During this trip we were fortunate to enjoy ethnic foods with local families; goat farms; truffle hunting; bee keeping; wineries; homemade brandies, and raki; cooking classes, olive oil tasting; Lipizan stud farm; oyster farms; bike riding; hiking and waterfalls; and so much more. This was our 3rd Jacada excursion, and as expected, another great adventure. Jacada is our "go to" travel partner for personalized luxury private travel. It was truly wonderful

A memorable and amazing trip to the Galápagos Islands and Machu Picchu, Peru

My husband and I recently returned from the Galápagos Islands as well as Peru to Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. We had the most amazing trip thanks to the meticulous planning and recommendations by Lizzie and Anabel at Jacada Travel. Everything was seamless from the guides and drivers that met us at each destination and they were all very informative. I'm usually the one who likes to plan our trips but I certainly would not have been able to plan this as well without the help of Jacada and their local experts. We are so happy that we decided to use them to help us plan a memorable vacation that was private, upscale and allowed us to really get a feel for the different cultures and get an insight to their exquisite local cuisine.

Fabulous Trip to Portugal

Jacada was very helpful in every aspect of planning our trip to Portugal. Kate Herz and Rita Pinto were so receptive to our thoughts and needs and made wonderful itinerary suggestions. All of our tour guides and drivers were experienced and informative and always punctual. The hotels (all fabulous) and activities which were recommended were fun and interesting and not always the "typical" tourist ones. Everything Ireland

As usual, this was a wonderfully curated trip. While no one can see & do everything during a trip of less than 4 weeks, it felt like we got close. South Africa and Botswana

We greatly appreciated the personalized attention provided by Emily Wallington. Her knowledge of the countries and of the hotels and experiences was incredibly accurate and helpful. We particularly enjoyed Cape Cadogan hotel, the food tour in Cape Town with Ryan, the Leeu Estates in Franschoek and the Wilderness camps in Botswana (especially Savuti). We were unfortunately in hotter and drier weather than expected, as the weather patterns seem to have shifted, but it was still a great trip.

Jacada has done it again

Jacada has done it again! Our trip to Italy was awesome! So many great things. Of course I believe Italy never disappoints. But Jacada made this an extra special trip. The choice of hotels were amazing!!!!! The Bellevue Syrene was stunning and the view was incredible! Our 5th trip with Jacada! They always make our trip so special and memorable. Number 6 is on for 2025!

We traveled to South Korea last fall

We traveled to South Korea last fall. The trip was fantastic however there were some definite issues that has prevented us from using Jacada for our next overseas trip. I do not think they were well versed in the accommodations that were outside the major urban areas which led to problems with two of our stays. As well, one of the representatives associated with the trip was not a good communicator. Likewise we had to contact them when they provided incorrect information about the K ETA travel authorization program requirements. The local Korean guides were wonderful and when we return I would use that local agency again. On our follow up end of trip phone call, our travel concierge said she would contact us with information about an Australian tour. She dropped the ball and didn’t follow up. That was enough for us to book our next adventure with another company. When spending this amount of money on a premium bucket list trip, travelers deserve better .

Great trip to Morocco

Wonderfully planned and executed trip! Had a great time in Morocco thanks to Jacada and their team on the ground. Saw and did a little bit of everything. Our favorite thing was riding the camels to see the Sahara Desert sunset and having lunch with a delightful Berber family in the Atlas Mountains.

A memorable vacation

From the time we got off the plane until we hide a fabulous stress free time. Our tour guide took us on a tour of Sydney followed by stunning visages of the southern highlands. We then flew to the outback for breathtaking sunrise/ sunsets. A final stop in the Daintree rain forest for some snorkeling and revitalizing spa treatment topped off our Australian journey. Jacada put together a package that everyone in the family enjoyed. We would definitely use this service for our next international trip.

Everything about our trip to South Africa arranged by Jacada Travel was exceptional. Jody Van Merode, Senior Tavel Designer, listened to our wants and needs and put together a perfect trip that was within our stated budget. She was great to work with! Jody and our assigned concierge, Betty Gatwiri, communicated with us frequently before our trip about what to expect and quickly responded to all our questions. Once the trip began, Jacada had someone on the ground to take care of us at all times. Meeting us at the airports and fast tracking us through customs was an invaluable service. Wayde with Wilderness Travel, the company Jacada contracts with, was available through What’s App to help us with any issues we had while in South Africa and regularly communicated with us regarding the next steps in our intinerary. In Cape Town, our stay at the One & Only could not have been better. The accommodations were beautiful and spacious and the staff could not do enough to serve you. The location at the Victoria & Alfred waterfront was so convenient to shopping and restaurants. Our private driver and guide in Cape Town was Etienne with Wilderness Travel. Etienne did an exceptional job. He had a wealth of knowlege about the places we visited, as well as the history, culture and current affairs of South Africa. He was very pleasant and accommodating. We could not have been happier with his service. Etienne was also our guide in the Winelands and took us to several beautiful wineries with exceptional wines, including Ernie Els Winery where we had a wonderful lunch. Finally, our stay at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge was incredible. We can’t say enough about it. The setting and common areas of the Lodge were beautiful and designed to blend in with the environmnent; our villa was beautiful, spacious and luxurious; the chef was amazing; the food was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented; there were many options at every meal; the premium alcohol that was complimentary was unbelievable; the staff was exceptional and could not do enough to satisfy your every need, and the managers went out of their way to speak to us regulary to make sure that we were happy with everything. Our private twice daily game drives were better than we could have imagined. It was great that the four of us traveling together did not have to share the vehicle with other guests. Our guide, Erin, and tracker, Leslie, were extremely knowledgeable about the animals, their habits, the landscape, etc. They put us at ease when we had many close encounters with the Big Five. They were also very flexible and attentive to our wants. We can’t say enough about Erin and Leslie. They’re a great team. All in all our trip was fabulous and we highly recommend Jacada Travel to anyone wanting to plan a trip to South Africa!!

Our trip to Paris, overall, was spectacular and one for the books. Paris has left a lasting impression on us and we plan to return soon. There were a couple of bumps here and there, but nothing that we could not figure out. Anytime we reached out to the Jacada team or the local team, they were always very prompt and helpful (always!). The hotel staff was amazing, all of our drivers and guides were top notch… overall, just an incredible experience. Jacada was great. The knowledgeable people at Jacada – James, Betty, Wade to name the ones we were in touch with – plus all the people who were there meeting us at planes, picking us up at hotels — on time. While the sights and sounds in the bush were amazing, the hospitality at Lion Sands River Lodge and Thornybush Saseka was truly memorable. We can now see why people go back.

We recently returned from a trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia booked through Jacada Travel. From the initial stages of planning through to following up with us at the end of our vacation, Jacada went above and beyond our expectations with personalized service. Jacada arranged an extraordinary experience for my trip to the Amazon and Pantanal regions of Brazil. They thoughtfully planned every detail from airport pickups to expert personalized guides to unique lodging to all transportation within the country. I took a leap of faith when I booked my family trip to South Korea with Jacada Travel. I researched online and liked the website. After I spoke with Ellie who is the Asia specialist, I anxiously awaited the itinerary, was wowed by the trip details, and booked the trip immediately even without any further pursuit of more thorough review of Jacada Travel. Jacada helped me plan and execute a wonderful weeklong pre-cruise trip to Ecuador for our family party of three couples celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. From the very first call, it was clear Lily and team knew the region well and were passionate about providing excellent customer service. Regular check-in’s were scheduled, emails were responded to quickly and there were multiple local contact options provided for when we were actually in Ecuador.

In the planning stage, we were offered a wide range of activities, the agenda was built out based on our feedback (3 nights in Mashpi, a delicious lunch to celebrate the anniversary itself, a private tour guide in Quito, beer tasting, etc,) and continued to be discussed and adjusted. The team even came back to us a few days prior to our departure to suggest a slight tweak to our agenda to ensure we wouldn’t end up too tired.

The in-country team set up for us was also awesome. From the first airport pickup at 2am due to travel delays until we were dropped off at the end of our journey, we were very well cared for. We learned a lot about the history and culture from our guide, our driver was an absolute legend (driving the primitive roads to Mashpi and in old town Quito isn’t for the faint of heart) and we had the best time exploring all that Mashpi Lodge had to offer.

I highly recommend Jacada as a travel partner for Ecuador and will definitely work with them again as we plan other adventures in the region and around the world.

Alice Cosso and Meg Simpson helped us with our trip to Spain. We toured Barcelona, Majorca, Seville, and Madrid. We are a family of four with two teenagers who were seeing Spain for the first time. We relied upon Meg and Alice to help us with tours,flights,hotels, excursions. We accomplished so much in two weeks. I can’t imagine doing it without their help. We never would have seen what we saw without them. It would’ve been impossible for me to plan this trip on my own. It was seamless and I was able to enjoy myself without stressing out about where we needed to go next.I would absolutely recommend Jacada travel, Meg and Alice to my closest friends and family. The trip was perfect from start to finish which I completely attribute to the communication with James and Eugenia. I really felt as if our needs were anticipated and our style of travel understood. They truly picked the best accommodations and made transfers between easy. I’ve never had such a seamless and well-organized travel experience. We had an excellent trip to Barcelona/Mallorca this August 2024 Jacada Travel! All small details were well thought out and there was someone available for any emergency changes (for example, our flight was overbooked and the concierge in Barcelona was aware and made changes appropriate to make the flight from Barcelona to Mallorca). The choice of hotels and activities were planned wonderfully by Dan Rhodes (Travel Designer) and Rita Pinto (Personal Travel Concierge) and their associated company, Made for Spain. A very memorable trip for my husband and I and our daughter (12) and son(10).

We worked with Jamey and Angela at Jacada to plan our honeymoon in South Africa. We started from scratch not knowing much about South Africa and Jamey met with us to get to know us and our budget and created the most incredible 10 day trip for us. My husband and I have both travelled a lot, but this trip was the best experience of our lives. The team was always there if we had any questions or concerns and every single day of our trip was planned perfectly. I can’t recommend Jacada enough!

All the coordination from the time we entered the country being toured until we left was handled in a seamless and professional manner. Every accommodation was first class, and all employed staff members in the overnight venues were truly professional. The only exception was the airline chosen for internal flights. Their performance was very uneven and disjointed.

I can’t praise Dan enough. I have seldom met anyone so amazing at listening and then working with your guidance to put together the trip of a lifetime. I have a lot of experience working with young people from the best universities and law schools in the United States. When I say that Dan is extraordinary and down to earth as well as precise and flexible, I mean it as high praise.

We booked our travel to Tanzania and Kenya for our 25th wedding anniversary. Jacada travels This one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. They were always with us throughout the trip without being overbearing and constantly in communication as we were traveling with younger kids. The places that jacads suggested Were top-notch and we felt like we were pampered all through our trip. Every necessity and requirements were fulfilled and The people who helped us were cheerful and made it a wonderful experience. Murray and Rita were very helpful with suggestions for our two trips we took this year. Much thought was put into the services/excusions. We have used Jacada for many trips and will continue to have them help plan future ones.

We are finally winding down from our trip, which was absolutely amazing. It exceeded everything I had envisioned and more. We will cherish this experience for the rest of our lives, and we’re already dreaming about where to go next! Jacada Travel organized our once in a lifetime bespoke tour of South Korea and Japan. We have travelled extensively to all continents with the exception of Antarctica. I do all the arranging so our trip with Jacada was our first ever organized tour and it was simply the best. Rachel O’Leary and Gita Widyasari organized an absolutely amazing trip. Every detail was taken care of, the hotels were just fantastic, the guides so knowledgeable and personable and travel between destinations was absolutely seamless. We saw the most incredible cultural and historic sights. Our trip was timed for the Cherry Blossoms and we saw the first of the Cherry Blossoms in Busan, South Korea the peak in Kyoto, Japan and the end of the season at Mt. Fuji. As every single detail was taken care of we were able to sit back and enjoy every single moment of our trip like no other. I highly recommend Jacada Travel and would give it ten stars if I could. Our recent trip to Rwanda organized by Jacada was wonderful from start to finish. There on land subcontractors were kind and professional! Our luggage was lost due to our own travel arrangements, and Jacada went above and beyond to locate the luggage, even though it wasn’t part of their itinerary with us.

Our Sri Lanka trip was amazing. We added Sri Lanka to our already planned Maldives vacation and engaged Jacada to design our trip. Rosanna understood our goals and expectations right off the bat. She put together an itinerary that was perfect. We have engaged travel agents prior, and this was by far one of our best experiences. She is absolutely lovely, easy to communicate with, a fabulous travel designer and a true professional. Our trip was perfect! We especially enjoyed our food tour guide in Columbo, our adventures and stay at Wild Coast Tented Lodge and the choice of luxury boutique hotels we stayed at. We are spoiled and very well-travelled and this review is very well deserved. We will definitely book with Jacada and Rosanna for all our future travels.

Our experience was top notch from start to finish!! The travel, camps, food, excursions, guides, accommodations, and hosts all deserve 5 stars. All of our exceptions of the trip were blown out of the water. We not only loved seeing Namibia, but we learned so much along the way. Our guides at every camp were truly ambassadors for their country and the region. We received personalized care and our experiences were perfectly curated. My family was so impressed and we are already planning our next adventure with Jacada.

We used jacada to plan our Southern Africa and they truly went over and above our expectations. We planned and the trip about 7 months ahead of time and were immediately impressed with the professionalism and the comprehensive itinerary put together. At one point, one of the properties we wished to stay at was sold out on the original planned dates, but within hours our travel expert, Jacob, had a newly crafted itinerary to accommodate new dates at that property. If we had any questions, Jacob would answer via email within a day, despite a 5 hour time difference. Even though we never met Jacob in person, it felt like we had numerous in person meetings given the detail and precision with which things were planned. I also have to commend our concierge coordinator, Angela. She was able to secure exclusive reservations at top restaurants and provided in depth details about our day to day activities. Once we actually arrived at our destination, we could completely shut our minds off and enjoy because every single second of the trip was taken care of. At every airport we had someone there to receive us immediately off the plane and assist with baggage, transfers, etc. The guides on excursions were all top class. We also had an “on grounds” crew available via WhatsApp who would be in contact with us everyday and provide the important, specific details for that day.

I cannot commend Jacada enough. I would 100% use their services again and would recommend to any of my friends and family.
