Dan + Shay Announce 2024 Heartbreak on the Map Tour Ahead of New Album Release

The country-pop duo is hitting the road in the U.S. in support of their new album 'Bigger Houses'

Dan + Shay ’s new album Bigger Houses is due out Friday, and they’re already gearing up to play it live. 

On Thursday, the country music duo featuring Shay Mooney , 31, and Dan Smyers , 36, revealed they’re going on tour in 2024. The country-pop band announced The Heartbreak On The Map Tour, which features a string of 19 dates and is named after their recent single of the same name. 

The “For the Both of Us” pair will kick off their 2024 tour on Feb. 29 in Greenville, South Carolina and eventually wrap up in Boston on April 13. The tour will travel through much of the South and Midwest, then hit several cities on the East Coast, with stops in major cities including Austin, Nashville, Chicago and Philadelphia, among others.

For the entirety of the tour, the Grammy winners will be bringing along two special guests, singer-songwriters Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters .

Dan + Shay will drop their fifth studio album Bigger Houses on Friday (via Warner Music Nashville), which features the previously released title track and the single “Heartbreak on the Map.” 

Mooney and Smyers recently opened up to PEOPLE about the journey they had to take as friends and collaborators after a period of feeling like they had “fallen out of love with music” before making the new record.

Mooney told PEOPLE they decided, “We can part as friends because our friendship is the most important thing, or we can really hash this out and work on ourselves and make this a sustainable thing and a healthier thing moving forward. And that's what ended up happening.”

“Now when we get together, it's like we've rekindled that friendship that we had early on,” Smyers explained. "What are the odds when we were both struggling so much that we found each other, that our pace and styles and talents and abilities complement each other so well and that we've built something so real?”

“We've played a few shows recently and we're just able to celebrate it at the end. And I think us being close like we are now, it's just making the whole journey that much better,” Smyers added. “It feels like we've got a fresh start."

Ticket sales for The Heartbreak On The Map Tour will begin with the artist presale on Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. local time. Several other presales will follow throughout the week before the official public on-sale kicks off on Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Dan + Shay Extend Heartbreak on the Map Tour for Summer 2024

Dan + Shay 's 2024 Heartbreak on the Map Tour will extend through the summer. On Tuesday (Feb. 20), the country announced a whole new batch of dates, plus opening acts for the next leg of their tour.

Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe are joining Dan + Shay on the road starting in mid-July, for kicking things off with a stop in Cincinnati. That'll be the first of 30 summer dates on the Heartbreak on the Map Tour, which concludes Sept. 21 — the very last official day of summer — in Greenwood Village, Colo.

The summer iteration of Dan + Shay's tour will follow their spring run , which is also called the Heartbreak on the Map Tour. Those dates kick off at the end of this month, and will feature opening performances from Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters .

The general on-sale date for the summer Heartbreak on the Map Tour is Friday (Feb. 23), but presale options start on Tuesday (Feb. 20) at noon local time.

For enhanced safety and speed of entry, we strongly discourage guests from bringing bags to events. All fans are urged to arrive early and travel light.

If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions and processes apply:

• Backpacks of any size are considered prohibited items and are NOT allowed into the arena.
• Bags that measure larger than 12”x12”x6” are prohibited and are NOT allowed into the arena.
• Bags that measure between 6”x4”x1.5” and 12”x 12”x6” (including clear bags and Nashville Locker Room bags) are subject to x-ray screening and visual inspection. 
• Bags that measure smaller than 6” x 4” x 1.5” may proceed through express screening lanes for visual inspection.  
• Diaper bags and bags needed for medical reasons are allowed but will be subject to x-ray screening.

The 19-city tour aptly receives its title from “Heartbreak On The Map,” the third song, and early fan-favorite contender, on the duo’s highly anticipated, fifth studio album, Bigger Houses, released on September 15 via Warner Music Nashville.

The long-awaited new music follows the duo’s record shattering, critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning, Platinum album, Good Things. Also co-produced by Smyers, the highly imaginative LP featured their most recent country radio No. 1’s – the Platinum-certified hits “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and 2x Platinum “Glad You Exist,” as well as the 5x Multi-Platinum global smash “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber. Good Things was also the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of the only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021.

For the Dan + Shay concert, all guests with GA floor tickets will enter the United Center through any main gate once doors open at 5:30 PM. GA ticketholders do not need to arrive prior to 5:30 PM to get a wristband for the show.

Take I-90 East to the Madison Street exit and make a right onto Madison Street. The building will be on your left.

Take I-55 North to the Damen exit and make a left, going northbound for approximately 7 minutes. The building will be on your right.

Take Madison Street west from the Loop.

Take I-290 East to exit 28A (Damen Avenue). Take Damen Avenue north to Madison Street. Make a right onto Madison Street and the building will be on your right.

Public Transportation

Take the Orange, Green, Purple, or Brown lines to Madison. Take #20 Madison buses west.

To the United Center : The #19 United Center Express Bus runs on game days. Service begins 90 minutes prior to game time, runs every 10 minutes until 30 minutes until start of game. Board at stops starting southbound on Michigan and Randolph. Connections are made with Metra trains at Millennium Station, Ogilvie Center and Union Station. The #20 Madison Bus travels west on Madison Street, starting downtown at Wabash Street and runs every few minutes, making all stops to the United Center.

From the United Center : The #19 United Center Express and the #20 Madison buses run every few minutes, departing from the eastbound side of Madison Street. Buses make all stops.

Suites Parking

Two reserved parking passes will be valid in lots C and K. The other two reserved parking passes will be for parking in lots A, B, D, or L. Holders of these passes will be directed to A, B, D, or L lots by traffic police and parking attendants based on traffic conditions. Parking passes are good for one space each. All parking passes are mobile entry only.

For all special events, each Executive Suite Holder will receive two complimentary parking passes per event ordered. These two passes will be for reserved parking located in lots C and K. In addition, Executive Suite Holders will also receive the option to purchase four additional parking passes in lots C and K for special events.

Suite Holder parking passes are also valid for buses or limousines under specific guidelines.

Lexus Club Parking

Lexus Club Seat members have reserved parking in fenced, well-lit and clearly marked parking lots adjacent to the United Center for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. All Lexus Club members who purchase tickets to other events may also purchase one preferred parking pass (in lot C or K) for such events. Details on how to obtain parking for other events are included with the fax transmission announcing each event.

Lexus Club Seat members with two to four tickets receive a complimentary, reserved parking space in a closed-in, paved lot for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. Lexus Club Seat members with five seats or more will be provided with two parking passes.

UBER ZONE FAQs:

What is the Uber Zone (Lot E) at the United Center? To increase and streamline the fan experience for guests who take Uber to and from the United Center, the new Uber Zone is located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street (Lot E) and will combine the three former Uber locations around the arena. Traffic leading to the three prior Uber pickup locations 1) Zone A, previously located on Wood Street & Washington Blvd. near Lot A, 2) Zone D, previously located on Monroe Street & S. Paulina Street near Lot D and 3) Zone F, previously located on Monroe Street & Seeley Ave. near Lot F will now be directed towards the one new Uber Zone in Lot E.

What is the location of the Uber Zone? The new Uber Zone at the United Center is located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Fans will enter and exit through the sidewalk entrance located on Madison Street and cars will enter the lot by turning into the Uber Zone from Madison Street. Cars will exit on Warren Blvd.

What are the hours of operation? On event days, the Uber Zone is open two hours prior to games, concerts and events and will remain open up to one hour after each event. On non-event days, the Uber Zone will be closed and Uber rides will be dropped off near the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street outside of the Uber Zone.

What is the pickup process for fans?

• Using the Uber app, fans inside the United Center will call an Uber ride.
• Guests will then head to the new Uber Zone located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street in front of the United Center.
• When arriving, fans will show the Uber attendant the lane number their driver is in.
• Fans will be shown the location where their Uber vehicle is located to start their next journey.

What is the dropoff process for fans? When Uber drivers arrive with guests at the United Center, they will be instructed to pull into the Uber Zone from the Madison Street side to drop off fans. Once exiting the vehicle, guests will walk out of the main entrance located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Guests can cross the street to the United Center and are encouraged to enter through the East Atrium.

Dan + Shay's 'Heartbreak On The Map' Tour Set To Start In 2024 — Setlist & Ticket Info

Dan + Shay are kicking off their “Heartbreak on the Map” Tour in 2024.

The tour was made in support of their newest album, Bigger Houses , and will bring along Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters as opening acts on all shows.

In July, the singing duo admitted to almost breaking up after their 2021 tour.

“I was in, like, the lowest low of my entire life. Came off the road and I was like, ‘Man, I hate music. I’m ready to quit,” Dan Smyers said in a YouTube video.

“I could feel the separation, and I think there was little things between you and I that we never talked about,” Shay Mooney replied.

After going back and forth on what led to wanting to back out of their successful singing careers, Smyers said they are now “a million times the closest [they’ve] ever been.”

Dan and Shay have won numerous awards since their formation in 2013, including three Grammys and two CMT Awards.

Dan + Shay Announce 2024 ‘The Heartbreak On The Map Tour’

Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning duo  Dan + Shay  plan their trek across the map with the announcement of their  2024 The Heartbreak On The Map Tour . Produced by Live Nation, the tour is set to kick off in Greenville, SC, on February 29, and  includes a stop at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, on Thursday, April 11, 2024 . Supporting Dan + Shay on this tour will be acclaimed singer-songwriters  Ben Rector  and  Hailey Whitters.

Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning on September 19 at 10 am. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on September 22, 2023, at 10 am. Right now fans can pre-register  HERE  until Monday, September 18 at 5 pm ET to receive their early ticket access code.

The 19-city tour aptly receives its title from “ Heartbreak On The Map ,” the third song, and early fan-favorite contender, on the duo’s highly anticipated, fifth studio album,  Bigger Houses  due tomorrow, September 15 via Warner Music Nashville.

Bigger Houses   is   co-produced by the duo’s Dan Smyers and Scott Hendricks. Fans can now pre-order special edition vinyl versions of the album, available only by visiting the official Dan + Shay  website .

The long-awaited new music follows the duo’s record shattering, critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning, Platinum album,  Good Things.  Also co-produced by Smyers, the highly imaginative LP featured their most recent country radio No. 1’s – the Platinum-certified hits “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and 2x Platinum “Glad You Exist,” as well as the 5x Multi-Platinum global smash “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber.  Good Things  was also the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of the only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021.

Recently announced as coaches for season 25 of NBC’s Emmy-winning program  The Voice ,   Dan + Shay will join Reba McEntire, John Legend and Chance the Rapper in Spring 2024 as the first-ever coaching duo in the show’s history. COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Music duo Dan + Shay will bring their 'Heartbreak on the Map Tour' to Columbus.

They will perform at Nationwide Arena on March 15, 2024.

There will also be guest performances from Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters .

What Is Dan + Shay’s 2024 Tour?

Dan + Shay’s “Heartbreak on the Map Tour” will see the country duo hitting the road from late February to mid-September. Dan + Shay will begin the tour’s spring leg with a date in Greenville, South Carolina on February 29th, and the first leg concludes on April 13th with a show at Boston’s TD Garden.

The summer leg will then commence two months later in Cincinnati on July 18th and continues through the summer, with shows in St. Louis, Toronto, Tampa, Dallas, Phoenix, and Mountain View, California. The tour ends with a September 21st date in Denver, Colorado.

Who Is Opening For Dan + Shay on Their 2024 Tour?

Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters will be opening for Dan + Shay on the first leg of their “Heartbreak on the Map Tour.” For the summer outing, Dan + Shay have enlisted Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe as openers.

3x GRAMMY Award-winning duo Dan + Shay plan their trek across the map with the announcement of their 2024 The Heartbreak On The Map Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will make its last stop in Boston on April 13, 2024. Supporting Dan + Shay on this tour will be acclaimed singer-songwriters Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters.

Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning September 19 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning September 22, 2023, at 10 am local time. The 19-city tour aptly receives its title from “Heartbreak On The Map,” the third song, and early fan-favorite contender, on the duo’s highly anticipated, fifth studio album, Bigger Houses due tomorrow, September 15 via Warner Music Nashville.

Bigger Houses is co-produced by the duo’s Dan Smyers and Scott Hendricks. Fans can now pre-order special edition vinyl versions of the album, available only by visiting the official Dan + Shay website.

The long-awaited new music follows the duo’s record shattering, critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning, Platinum album, Good Things. Also co-produced by Smyers, the highly imaginative LP featured their most recent country radio No. 1’s – the Platinum-certified hits “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and 2x Platinum “Glad You Exist,” as well as the 5x Multi-Platinum global smash “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber. Good Things was also the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of the only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021.

Recently announced as coaches for season 25 of NBC’s Emmy-winning program The Voice, Dan + Shay will join Reba McEntire, John Legend and Chance the Rapper in Spring 2024 as the first-ever coaching duo in the show’s history. LIV Golf takes place in Nashville for first-time ever with performances by Dan + Shay

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — LIV Golf Nashville is coming to Tennessee this weekend featuring golf's biggest stars and performances by one of country music's favorite duos.

The event takes place June 21-23 for the first time ever just outside Nashville at The Grove . Some of golf's best players come to Tennessee for the ninth tournament of the league’s second full season.

LIV Golf Nashville will showcase 14 huge champions with a combined 28 major victories amongst its 54-player field including:

Not only will the world's best golfers be at the event, but there will be special performances Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi will perform live at the Fan Village stage, ending day one of competition. On Saturday, country duo dan _ Shay will take center stage at The Grove after the second day of golf. Both concerts will start at 5 p.m. and gates close at 6:30 p.m. Day passes include access to the concerts.

LIV brings 'Golf but Louder' motto to Nashville with tournament, concert with Dan + Shay

Newly crowned U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau will meet three-time Grammy Award winners Dan + Shay as LIV Golf heads to The Grove golf course just outside Nashville this weekend.

With golfers like DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson competing during the day, LIV hopes to attract a wider audience by bringing in musicians like Dan + Shay for special concerts at night. In Nashville's case, the country pop duo is set to perform Saturday.

AJ Dolan, vice president of music and event production at LIV, said music serves as one of the tent poles of their brand.

“We are really a festival with golf as the primary theme,” Dolan said of LIV, which was founded in June 2022.

In its first full year, LIV events featured concerts from artists like the Zac Brown Band, Lainey Wilson and Tiësto. So, when they were considering locations for the 2024 tour, Nashville - with its branding as Music City - seemed like a natural fit, organizers said.

“We are very data-driven in how we select venues,” said Ross Hallett, executive vice president and head of events at LIV. “The data told us Nashville would align well, and we’ve already seen that play out. Very few tickets remain for Friday and Sunday, and Saturday is sold out.”

LIV Golf features a team format with shotgun starts. 54 players are broken into 13 teams comprised of four players each, with two additional wild cards, according to LIV's website.

The LIV Golf league is made up of 14 events, each held in a different city, and individual and team titles are up for grabs at the end of each season, the website said.

While still relatively young in its development as a league, Hallett believes that LIV is becoming increasingly more attractive in part due to its focus on music.

Each course is outfitted with nearly 200 speakers, and the first hole features walk-up songs for every golfer.

“Hole 15, our 'party hole,' will also have walk-up songs, and fans will be right on-top of the action,” Dolan said. “Another aspect that makes LIV unique is that all the players warm-up together. During those two hours, the music gradually builds, similar to the anticipation before a kickoff or puck-drop.”

Due to popular demand, LIV is also launching signature Spotify playlists. Each event will have its own regionally based songs that were played across the course during the tournament.

“It’ll provide nostalgia, and serve as another touchpoint for fans at home,” Dolan said.
