THE DEAD DAISIES Announce June 2024 U.S. Tour, Return Of Drummer TOMMY CLUFETOS

After blistering tours of the U.S., Japan, and Europe in support of their "Best Of" album in 2023, THE DEAD DAISIES have spent the early part of 2024 in both Nashville and Muscle Shoals busy in the studio with producer Marti Frederiksen writing and recording songs for their new studio album to be released later this year.

The band has also announced an exclusive short run of U.S. tour dates kicking off in New York City on June 6 at Racket NYC. The trek will hit some of the band's favorite cities and venues across the country.

THE DEAD DAISIES will release a new single in support of the tour and will give fans the first opportunity to hear some of their new forthcoming material as well as fan favorites.

Keeping it in the family, John Corabi (vocals), Doug Aldrich (guitar), David Lowy (guitar) and Michael Devin (bass) look forward to welcoming heavy-hitting Tommy Clufetos ( OZZY OSBOURNE , BLACK SABBATH ) back to the lineup.

Corabi states: "We're very excited about a TON of things happening as of late.

"We've been working really hard on new material with our good pal Marti Frederiksen down at FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, and at Sienna studios in Nashville. We can't wait for you all to hear what we’re doing and have done!!!

"We've also brought back our long-time buddy (and DAISIES alumni) Tommy Clufetos to kick this new music in the teeth.

"We're looking forward to seeing all of our incredibly supportive friends, fans, and family out on the road, right here in the 'Good Old U.S. of A' kicking off June 6th… Thank you, we love you!!!".

Twelve years ago, THE DEAD DAISIES burst on to the music scene with a mission to gather some of the finest musicians in the world and simply put, play some good old-fashioned, no-bullshit rock and roll. After more than a decade of recording and touring the planet, there have been some incredible one-offs and special highlights including sharing stages with some of the world's biggest rock bands. To mark this milestone, a collection of songs from six of the band's previous studio albums have been chosen. The "Best Of" album, which was made available in August 2023, includes some of the collective's favorite tracks and others that have become a staple part of every DAISIES touring setlist. Two previously unreleased tracks from the last recording session are also included.

Last May, it was announced that Corabi , former lead singer of MÖTLEY CRÜE , THE SCREAM and UNION , had officially rejoined THE DEAD DAISIES .

Corabi joined THE DEAD DAISIES in early 2015 and remained in the group until January 2019, during which time he recorded three studio albums with the band: "Revolución" (2015), "Make Some Noise" (2016) and "Burn It Down" (2018). In the summer of 2019, THE DEAD DAISES announced that they were being joined by legendary DEEP PURPLE bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes , who appeared on the band's last two studio albums, 2021's "Holy Ground" and 2022's "Radiance" .

Last August, Corabi told Metal Talk about how he came to rejoin THE DEAD DAISIES : "We talked through the whole time that they had Glenn in the band. At one point, they were getting ready to tour with Glenn , and he was sick. I don't know if he had COVID or what his deal was, but he wasn't feeling well. I went up to New York for a week with the guys, and I helped them. I sang with them to help them prepare for their tour with Glenn , just to get their music together."

John went on to say that it was April or May that Lowy visited him in Nashville. "He basically told me that Glenn was going back to do his DEEP PURPLE thing and BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION ," John said. "He asked me if I was rested and said, 'We'd love to have you come back and keep this train moving.' So I said, 'All right. All good.'"

Amazing gig. 3rd time seeing them live and they just get better and better. John Corabi was on top form... What a voice!!! Rest of the band also fantastic. Set included a mix of old favourites and songs from the new album, Burn it Down.

Absolutely love this band but I just wish they would book venues more suited. They are always packed out. Scottish gigs always sell out so this should tell them they need a bigger venue. The Support band, The Amorettes were brilliant. They really complimented the Daisies and got the crowd going. 1st time seeing them and would definitely go to a solo gig of theirs.

Great venue. Up close and personal. A real stadium act performing in a small place with no loss of impact or passion. They gave 100% and the audience loved them.

They all have individual personalities and are very charismatic.

Performing their own songs old and new as well as brilliant covers they had the audience in the palm of their hands.

An acoustic portion of the set really demonstrated their accumulative musicality and love of their profession.

All-in-all thoroughly recommended...can't wait to see them again!

These guys just rocked it, even for a very small crowd. They put on a show, regardless of the size...very professional set(s). Aldrich can flat-out tear up a Les Paul & John Coraba has a magnificent voice!

We saw them at Guitar Center, doing an acoustic set and each led and sang a song. Great musicians and vocalists. Will see them anytime they are close. If you're on the fence about going, put away any apprehension and just go....you'll be very glad you did!

Great show, with a really nice sound and a great overall energy. Everybody is a great shape and Castronovo adds some really powerful kick to the songs.

Opening band "Doctor Victor" was kinda predictable and boring after 10 minutes, so 40 mins of opening is a little bit an overdo. Average age of the audience was, well, little over 40, but still a great show with nice energy. Band played even "Highway star" for the encore.

I saw them in Prague for the first time. Solid rock show. I always liked Marco Mendoza and his attitude with showmanship. The support band DOCTOR VICTOR were amazing. They definitely should take them on tour as “doctors” knew nicely warmed the audience for those rock stars  Both bands are keeping true rock’n’roll spirit alive so they have my appreciation!!!

Their second time in Madrid, and the show was absolutely amazing. In my opinion, the best band playing live currently.

The best of the concert in Madrid, the cover they made of "highway star" from Deep Purple, and the new songs are incfredible, specially "Rise up" and "Bitch".

It was a great and dynamic show with great songs. The signing session afterwards was very nice and they take some time for you! They had an exellent performance, a great setlist and the public was very enthousiastic.

Ten years ago, The Dead Daisies burst onto the music scene. Their mission, to create some good old fashioned 70’s style rock, gather some of the finest musicians in the world, and have a great time keeping rock music alive. The name was inspired by Jon Stevens and an old phrase ‘pushing up daisies’ as well as the Mexican celebration ‘Day Of the Dead’ with this theme influencing the logos and artwork throughout the years. The Dead Daisies have gone from strength to strength since the release of their self-titled album in 2013. They have released six studio, one live and one covers album to a growing army of fans worldwide and are praised by the global media in an era where Rock has been declared dead time and time again. The band’s DNA includes an amazing collective of players that includes David Lowy, Doug Aldrich, John Corabi, Brian Tichy, Glenn Hughes, Marco Mendoza, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Tommy Clufetos, Frank Ferrer, Darryl Jones, Charley Drayton, Deen Castronovo and Jon Stevens amongst others. They’ve had some incredible one-offs and special highlights over the last decade including sharing stages with some of the world’s biggest Rock bands including Kiss, Guns N‘ Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, Foreigner, Judas Priest and the Hollywood Vampires. There’s been multiple headline tours throughout Europe, Japan, South & North America. They were thrilled to play for the passionate music-loving people of Cuba after the embargo lifted in 2015. Venturing to Sth Korea with the USO was an honour and they felt the love playing with a 60-piece orchestra in front of a massive 300,000 crowd at the ‘Concert For Freedom’ in Poland. They’ve rocked with hundreds of thousands at some of the worlds’ most prestigious music festivals such as Download, Wacken, Graspop, Hellfest and Sweden Rock. A mobile game featuring the band’s guardian Daisy was launched in 2021. ‘Daisys Revenge’ is the first of a planned series of digital experiences inspired by the band’s music & videos. Celebrating a Decade Of Rock, The Dead Daisies are releasing a ‘Best Of’ album that showcases some of the band’s favourite tracks from over the last ten years. John Corabi returns to the fold for the 2023 Tour with bassist Michael Devin (of Whitesnake fame) joining the musical collective for the first time. The Daisies plan to tour Canada, USA, Japan and Europe from late August. The Dead Daisies are pushing forward, generating energy and taking chances to ensure that every person who experiences them has no doubt that Rock is Indeed Alive & Well.
