Ever wonder what it’s like to journey to Paris for the weekend, or even Marrakesh? Well, you can find out by tuning into the delightful British travel series, Travel Man , which airs on the UK’s Channel 4, and is now streaming on Hulu.

Currently there are 7 seasons available with 34 episodes ripe for your bingeing pleasure. Travel Man is hosted by Richard Ayoade, the former It Crowd star who is widely popular over in Britain, as he invites famous pals to accompany him in each 23-minute episode — with the exception of two double-length holiday installments.

Why 'The Chef Show' Is Your Next Feel Good Binge

Every episode features a new city, new activities and much more, and Ayoade’s travel companions have ranged from Chris O’Dowd , Paul Rudd and Jon Hamm to Rebel Wilson and Lena Dunham . Most of his guests are directly from his neck of the woods, so their star power may be lost on some viewers less familiar with the Brits.

Premiering in 2015, the series is an offshoot format of another program Ayoade hosted — Gadget Man . The comedian, actor, director, writer and TV host also hosts Britain’s popular game show The Crystal Maze , and that’s where I initially noted Ayoade’s quick humor.

After researching the game show ahead of its Nickelodeon release this year with American host  Adam Conover , a coworker suggested I check out  Travel Man for more hilarious banter. And there certainly is plenty of it for viewers to enjoy as the subjects eat up the sights and sounds of cities such as Brussels, Ibiza, Hong Kong, Miami, Moscow, Paris, Florence, Valencia and Dubai to name a few.

Along with sharing travel costs, from flight and hotel to transport in the city, this series is user-friendly and makes you really consider the possibilities of exploring travel options, especially when they’re calculated for a comfortable two-day time period. As well as visiting and admiring the most popular sights and locations in featured cities, Ayoade and his guests often partake in various excursions, meals, and tours that aren’t always conventional.

One particularly hilarious adventure included Ayoade and comedian Sara Pascoe’s time in Valencia, Spain where they visited the City of Arts and Sciences’ cultural and architectural complex (this also happens to be a filming location for the upcoming third season of Westworld ). While there, they partook in a brief time encased in giant plastic bubbles as they floated on the water feature.

The activity — which is called zorbing — will have you in hysterics as they try to right themselves in the unstable capsule. “Have you zorbed before?” Richard asks Sara.

“I never have, have you? Are you into it?” Sara asks in return.

As Ayoade answers, he says, “For a claustrophobic, it’s a dream” — just a small taste of his sarcastic sense of humor. While that’s just one excursion taken, others that can be seen in accompanying episodes are museum tours, ice skating, sledding, whale watching, gladiator class, cooking classes and more.

Whether you’re aware of Ayoade’s pop culture presence or not, you’re likely to be charmed by his polite sarcasm and his myriad of adventuring companions. Even if you aren’t looking to jetset anytime soon,  Travel Man immerses you just enough to feel like you’ve had a getaway of your own, and isn’t that what TV’s all about?

While there are only 7 seasons available on Hulu, there are eight additional episodes that haven’t been added to the streamer as of yet. For now, enjoy the installments currently available, and see if you can find some travel inspiration of your own.

Here's the thing about the Brat Pack: They hated being called the Brat Pack. To make peace with the past, director Andrew McCarthy reconnects with pals/actors Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Ally Sheedy and others to discuss their '80s movie heyday. The really interesting parts of the documentary dig into the actors' influence on the era and McCarthy's meetup with the writer who coined the group's infamous nickname.

'The First Omen'

In the demonically effective "Omen" prequel, Nell Tiger Free stars as a young American novitiate at an Italian orphanage who becomes protective of a teen girl (Nicole Sorace) and gets caught up in a shady Catholic Church conspiracy to birth the antichrist. Come for the nun horror and a jaw-droppingly gonzo finale, stay for the feminist undertones and timely take on religion.

'Godzilla Minus One'

The American MonsterVerse Godzilla movies have been pretty decent, but this rousing and thoughtful Japanese post-war epic stomps them all. This year's Oscar winner for visual effects – for real, the G-man has never looked better – is a terrific human tale about a former kamikaze pilot (Ryunosuke Kamiki) navigating survivor's guilt who's recruited for a desperate mission to save Tokyo from the rampaging reptilian icon.

Director Richard Linklater's sexy and enjoyable noir comedy/romance/thriller allows Hollywood "It" dude Glen Powell to shine in his most wide-ranging role to date. A nerdy philosophy professor (Powell) moonlights as a killer for hire on crime stings and winds up falling for a "client" (Adria Arjona) who'd like him to off her hubby in a sneakily deep tale about identity and finding the way to your best self.

"West Side Story" standout Ariana DeBose doesn't sing but does get shot into space in this star vehicle. The scrappy sci-fi thriller casts the Oscar winner as an astronaut and the newest crew member on the International Space Station. Something bad happens on Earth, causing lots of friction between Americans and Russians on board in a gripping tale full of screwdrivers, a doomsday scenario and some good ol' Cold War-era tension.

'Monkey Man'

Dev Patel 's directorial debut is doubly impressive, crafting a "Rocky"-esque underdog tale that dives into Indian mythology and also proves himself the coolest new action hero on the block. His vengeful main character attacks goons with fireworks, platform shoes and all manner of sharp objects to take on powerful figures and also avenge the murder of his mom.

'Perfect Days'

If your kids show interest in a film with subtitles, this delightfully minimalist Japanese drama is a perfect gateway movie. Hiriyama (Koji Yakusho) is content with his daily life of tooling around Tokyo, cleaning public bathrooms, taking pictures of trees and listening to his beloved classic rock cassettes. It's the interactions, though, with a slacker co-worker, his runaway niece and others, that unlock the complex personality of a quietly honorable man.

'Ultraman: Rising'

Ultraman has been a pop-culture superhero staple in Japan since the 1960s, akin to our Superman. This new animated adventure is an enjoyable reboot for a new generation of kid fans (and adult newbies). Ken Sato (voiced by Christopher Sean) is a star baseball player who returned to his homeland to take over the Ultraman mantle from his dad, but his life gets extra messy when he becomes the reluctant adoptive father of a baby kaiju.

'Under Paris'

OK, 'fess up: Who had "best actress nominee stars in a nifty shark movie" on their 2024 movie bingo card? In the bloody and just-campy-enough French thriller, Bérénice Bejo ("The Artist") plays a scientist who, three years after losing her husband and crew to a finned menace, teams with police when a giant mako shark swims into Paris and turns the catacombs into an all-you-can-eat human buffet on the eve of a triathlon.

Featuring designs from KidSuper, Vini Jr, Lando Norris, and Rina Sawayama, plus legacy suits return!

A brand-new, free update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2* is upon us and it’s bringing eight new suits to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – including some new designs and returning favorites from previous games. This update, dropping on June 18, also addresses some community feedback and adds stability improvements to the game.

First, we’re delighted to fully unveil four new suits created in partnership with Colm Dillane, AKA KidSuper, and some special guest collaborators. Evenly split between the Spider heroes, these are new takes on Spidey suits designed from the ground up by KidSuper, Vini Jr, Lando Norris, and Rina Sawayama. Check them out – along with some notes from each designer!

Metro Suit (Miles Morales) – Designed by KidSuper

Fashion designer, Colm Dillane, AKA KidSuper, created the Metro suit for Miles Morales, which comes with additional variant suit styles: red on black, classic Spidey, and teal on purple. KidSuper not only partnered with us to make these suits, but he also worked closely with our special guests to design their suits!

“The puffer design you often see in my KidSuper collections and the exclusive ‘original’ colorway! We came up with designs that felt super original, like something only we could pull off.” – KidSuper

Ginga Suit (Miles Morales) – Co-designed by Vini Jr. and KidSuper.

Professional Football player Vini Jr. wears his inspiration on his sleeve. A love letter to Brazil and the beautiful, global game of Football, the Ginga suit features a design and default colorway reminiscent of both: a sporty look for Miles Morales with a black, green, yellow, and blue shader. Of course, this suit also features added styles: red on black, classic, and gold on white.

“I wanted it to be a celebration of Brazil’s culture and people. I just love the overall design because it has the energy and action that I associate Spider-Man with, but it’s beautifully mixed with some Brazilian flair. Which makes this suit super special and different from others.” – Vini Jr.

Fluro Suit (Peter Parker) – Co-designed by Lando Norris and KidSuper 

 Motorsports phenom Lando Norris is all about moving fast. Finally, our latest update brings stability fixes to the game and addresses some player feedback, such as the ability to swap out your parry and traversal abilities from the Symbiote to Spider Arms, and vice versa. This update, version 1.003.000*, will be available on June 18 th , so keep an eye out for it!

Demi Moore on Full Frontal Nudity With Margaret Qualley in ‘The Substance’: ‘A Very Vulnerable Experience’ but I Had a ‘Great Partner Who I Felt Very Safe With’

Demi Moore ‘s new film, the feminist body horror “ The Substance ,” sees her bare it all, with several scenes featuring full nudity. At the Cannes Film Festival press conference for the film on Monday, the 61-year-old actor discussed the “vulnerable experience.”

“Going into it, it was really spelled out — the level of vulnerability and rawness that was really required to tell the story,” Moore said. “And it was a very vulnerable experience and just required a lot of sensitivity and a lot of conversation about what we were trying to accomplish.”

“I had someone who was a great partner who I felt very safe with. We obviously were quite close  — naked — and we also got a lot of levity in those moments at how absurd those certain situations were,” she said. “But ultimately. it’s just about really directing your communication and mutual trust.”

As the film progresses, Moore becomes horribly disfigured thanks to the abuse her other half Qualley is inflicting on her. By the film’s last act, she quite resembles Anjelica Huston from the 1990 film “The Witches,” after she transforms into a humpback abomination.

Dennis Quaid also stars in the film as an “asshole,” as he described his character during the presser. The late Ray Liotta was meant to have the role before his passing in May 2022, and Quaid dedicated his performance to him.

“In my heart, I dedicated this role to Ray Liotta, who was set to play it,” Quaid said. “It was this week, two years ago that he passed, so I’d like to remember him. He was such an incredible actor.”

Cannes went wild for “The Substance” at its premiere on Sunday night, giving the film an 11-minute standing ovation , the longest of the fest so far.

In an interview with Variety , the French director discussed the film’s feminist themes, saying that body horror is “the perfect vehicle to express the violence all these women’s issues are about.”

With an undercurrent of #MeToo at this year’s festival as the movement grows in France, Fargeat hopes the film will shine even more light on the issue. “It’s a little stone in the huge wall we still have to build regarding this issue, and to be honest, I hope my film will also be one of the stones of that wall. That’s really what I intended to do with it.”

Jury finds man accused of killing, dismembering, burning remains of his ex-girlfriend guilty of murder

Tarnava could face punishment of up to life in prison in connection with shooting death of marisol klingelhofer in 2021.

SAN ANTONIO – A man who was accused of killing, dismembering and burning the remains of his ex-girlfriend was found guilty Friday.

Jurors deliberated for a little over an hour before returning their unanimous verdict against Andres Tarnava, who was charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Marisol Klingelhofer in April 2021.

The defendant had no reaction after the judge read the verdict.

Tarnava could face a maximum punishment of life in prison. A judge will determine his fate at a later date.

In Day 2 of the trial on Thursday , the jury saw video of Tarnava confessing to killing Klingelhofer and saw up-close two barrels that he’s accused of using to burn her body.

A month after Klingelhofer was reported missing in the spring of 2021, Tarnava was detained as a person of interest in her disappearance.

While Tarnava was being interrogated by Texas Ranger Jesse Perez, he admitted to shooting Klingelhofer four times in the face and explained his motive for doing so.

Tarnava told Perez that he fatally shot Klingelhofer because he wanted her to pay for allegedly stealing his father’s military ID and Social Security card.

“You aren’t just going to take something from me and just let it go,” Tarnava said in the interrogation, which was shown to the jury.

The defendant said he threw the gun away and took Klingelhofer’s body to his property off Luckey Road in south Bexar County, where he burned her body.

“You burned her? When you burned her, did you have to do it in pieces? Did you cut her?” Perez asked Tarnava.

“I didn’t cut her up. Whole,” the defendant responded.

The jury was shown two barrels that were found on Tarnava’s property and pictures of small fragments of bones that were in the barrels.

When asked if he was remorseful for his actions, Tarnava said, “My dad was my world and I would do it again.”

In Day 1 of the trial on Tuesday, two men who said they witnessed the shooting in April 2021 testified against Tarnava.

Ruben Aguello, a friend of the victim, said that he and Klingelhofer were talking and drinking in a pickup truck when he noticed Tarnava come toward them with a gun. Aguello said he jumped out of the vehicle, but Klingelhofer didn’t.

“I saw him pull out something, looked like a gun, and shot her twice,” Aguello said. “I heard her say, ‘No, no.’ He shot her once and (I) heard her again and he shot her again and didn’t hear nothing.”

Another witness and friend of the victim who told a similar story was Carlos Hernandez.

Hernandez said that the defendant shot Klingelhofer three or four times. Hernandez also testified that Tarnava threatened him and Aguello not to say anything.

“He was scaring us not to say anything and we stayed silent. It’s a scary feeling, you don’t know what to do,” Hernandez said.
