Everything was awesome but I was a bit disappointed that the swing was adjusted for guests not to swing.

I loved the personal services and attentiveness services of Kuredu! My water villa stayed clean, I received phone calls for event reminders and my refrigerator was stocked with refreshing drinks! I loved the comfortable flippers, extra towels, and extras in my water villa. Most importantly, I loved the check out procedure how I was given a lunch ticket for my long wait.

Simply that we could only afford 4 nights!!! I wasn’t ready to come home just yet haha. The arms on the rattan tub chairs outside at the Sangu bar are too high to sit and chat, I couldn’t get close enough to my husband - would prefer tub chairs with lower arms, but I really am nit-picking! The sea plane lounge is not a ‘Kuredu lounge’ it’s a very large room, shared between many island resorts, so we were expecting something a little more luxurious than what we experienced - we received a voucher for a bottle of water and a tuna sandwich, not even a complimentary coffee, so were disappointed with this part of the trip. Mostly upset about the 4 hour (!) wait for the sea plane - we shouldn’t have to wait that long when other travellers were taken to Kuredu long before us.

Because we were on a tight budget, we had originally booked a Beach Bungalow and orange band (Bonthi restaurant). When looking at the All Inclusive Package we found we were on the ‘lowest rung’ and were worried we wouldn’t enjoy the holiday enough for the large cost (so we paid even more(!) to upgrade our room to a Beach Villa - blue band, Koamas restaurant - so we went up a rung on the banding for AI which gave us 2 buffet restaurants to use instead of one). When we arrived, we were told that we were being upgraded to a Water Villa at the adults only Sangu resort (including a red band - only higher is gold) for the entirety of our stay. We were absolutely flabbergasted and incredibly grateful to Kuredu for the very kind gesture. I will say that once you go to Sangu resort, you won’t want to go lower than that. Having said that, we did prefer lunch at the O Restaurant as it was cooler (as it’s on the windy part of the island) and a more enjoyable experience than the very humid and warm Sangu Restaurant. We spent a lot of the time lounging at O bar drinking the delish Masala Chai! The food at Sangu and O was incredible. We stayed only 4 nights so found there was plenty of choice (when people complain about a lack of diversity, I do think they expect too much - who eats a different breakfast every day at home? And here, you literally can - someone said in their Booking review that there was a lack of nice fruit but our experience was that all tropical fruits were present and delicious!) I have to say the staff were wonderful. Always friendly, always say hello and seem genuinely happy to be there serving us. The island was beautifully kept. We didn’t notice too much pollution from the vehicles driving around. They were constantly tidying the beaches of detritus and clearing up fallen leaves from the abundance of greenery. It truly is a remarkable resort. As a first experience of the Maldives and All Inclusive, we were very very pleasantly surprised.

I LOVED everything about Kuredu, but what truly sets this trip/property apart is the staff. I mean, they are truly kind, helpful and fun. Jorge, Janesh,, Gurey and Azzuhan! Thank you for being patient and getting us everything we needed. Our absolute favorite staff member is Kalai, we literally followed him to every bar he was serving in LOL he is knowledgeable and just simply kind. Thank you all! We will definitely return and recommend this property to everyone we know

This was our second visit to Kuredu. We have upgraded for free from beach bungalow to O jacuzzi beach villa. So we could have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the O restaurant. The food was great, and more exclusive like in the Bonthi restaurant. We received every day two times 4 bottle of water in our room. If we can we will definitely come back.

Bit on the expensive side as far as holidays go, but worth it on a once in a while basis (depending on how deep your pockets are).

This place is a paradise! It is so beautiful in this island, the food was great, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our room was kept impeccably clean and they really made us feel welcome in their lovely island.

Located amidst tastefully landscaped garden just behind the 'O' Beach Villas in the north eastern part of the island, the Garden Bungalows are the same as our Beach Bungalows in design and facilities offered. They are just a few steps away from the beach. Garden Bungalows can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. In Garden Bungalows there is an option between double and twin beds. Garden Bungalows could be booked for families in all age groups and Bonthi is the main restaurant for all their meals.

Nestled on the north side of Kuredu Resort & Spa, the Premium Beach Bungalows blend in perfectly with the area’s opulent greenery and as such allow you to shroud yourself with the much needed stillness and peacefulness this side of the island doesn’t skimp on. Away from the main entertainment facilities, they are a good choice for those after a secluded break, yet still provide an accommodation choice close to the resort’s main area.

Beach Villas have a spacious bedroom with a sitting area and are exquisitely furnished with double beds, dressing table and sofa with table in teak, The terrace have a daybed with fan on top, and a sitting group, romantic open air bathrooms with walk in shower. Located on the north east part of the island catch the very first rays of the rising sun as they enter your room through the glass wall in the front. The Beach Villas entices you with the stunning view of Kuredu Express, the Lhaviyani Atoll’s famed channel that; sports dolphins occasionally as they cross in and out of the atoll. The view rolls over the far horizon where the deep blue Indian Ocean is further beautified with the short green lines of the distant deserted islands. Overlooking Ocean Watersport and the front side of the island, Akiri’s romantic setting makes it a great place for a quite evening drink, or soaking in the afternoon sun with your favourite cocktail in hand. Its large wooden deck, lit by candles in the evening, is a place you’re most likely to return to several times during your holiday.

One of the shady hideaways from the midday sun, the Babuna bar located close to the main pool area, is mainly known as being the main entertainment venue on the island. Babuna bar is where everyone’s at on Friday night when the traditional white parties rock the island. Don’t miss live band performances, evening animation and the lazy boy loungers that work best with a Kurumba in hand.

Bonthi Restaurant

Located within the signature building of Kuredu in the centre of the island and it is the main restaurant for the guests in Beach or Garden Bungalows for all their meals. Bonthi serves international and local cuisine in all you can eat buffet style with rotating theme nights chosen from around the world.

Franco's

This restaurant features an all day dining a la carte menu and serves Mediterranean cuisine such as pizza, burgers and sandwiches.

Quench your thirst with a cold beer or a soft drink after a round of golf or practice at the driving range. A favourite of many sports fans, the Golf bar is where are the major sports events will be shown. Ladies, this is the first place to look for your men if you can’t find them!

Koamas Restaurant

Also situated in the renovated signature building of Kuredu serving international and local buffets with show cooking for breakfast. For all guests in villas on the southern coast of the island comprising of some Beach Villas, and Jacuzzi Beach Villas.

O Restaurant

With a deck spreading over the water on the eastern end of the island, this buffet restaurant has an ambience of being one with nature. This is the allocated restaurant for the nearby Beach Villas on the north eastern part of the island. This restaurant accepts guests above 12 years of age only.

Pool Bar is as close to your local pub as youare likely to get. This is where people escape the hot Maldivian sun in the afternoon and cool off with cold drinks, catch up with other guests sipping on refreshing cocktails, and reflect on their day over a few beers with the newly-made friends and staff. Don’t be surprised if the bartenders are already adding ice to your favourite drink when they see you approach the bar, give you food for thought with their card tricks, and compliment your tan - in your language.

Sai Kotari Tea House

Owing to its location at the end of the jetty, Sai Kotari is a favourite of those of you who fancy a quiet ocean-view drink. Famous for its wide selection of tea and coffee, paired with finger-licking pastries, this local tea house is even more idyllic when lights go on at dusk and you get disturbed by the splashing of jack fish and the standing up of other guests in order to observe the baby eagle rays pass by.

As romantic at it gets. Laze away the sunny afternoons under the ceiling fans or on the outside deck, overlooking the wedding chapel on Kuredu’s most scenic side of the island. Make the Sangu bar a pit stop on your walk around the island and a must-visit place for sundowners; don’t go past the Sangu wine cellar either! Please note that Sangu Resort facilities are open for guests above eighteen years of age.
