Parking on campus.

UC Davis has gone mobile-ParkMobile! All parking payments are done directly on ParkMobile via the free mobile app or online, however select parking lots have permit dispensers from which guests may purchase and print a permit.

The free ParkMobile app makes it easy to pay for parking at UC Davis right from your phone. Once you set up your account, simply select your parking zone, vehicle, pay for the day or hour, and go. It's smart, contactless payment in the palm of your hand!

Parking Access

General parking access information, about campus parking access.

Paid permits are required Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Permits are only required on the weekends and University holidays during special events where parking areas with permit requirements will be posted in advance.  A parking permit can be purchased through the AMP Park app  or with the  LRPP  monthly permit (employees only). Failure to pay for parking may result in a citation.

Employee Parking Options

  • Daily Rates are paid for through the AMP Park app . Be sure you are registered with your UC Davis email address in order to access affiliate rates.  If you are not seeing the affiliate rates and believe you should, please contact our office at [email protected] or 530-754-3687. It is best you contact our office to troubleshoot prior to checking out. Refunds or promo codes will not be issued for overpaid parking in excess of two days or in cases when there is user error in setting up the AMP Park account.  
  • The Level Rate Parking Program (LRPP) is an alternative for those who drive to campus every day and do not wish to pay daily. Available to employees with a staff title code or by exception through the TS office. 
  • Virtual daily or hourly permits may be purchased at the COSMOS terminals. Affiliates who choose to purchase a permit at the terminal will be required to pay the visitor , non-affiliate rates.

Student Parking Options

Starting September 2024, parking rates on the Davis campus will increase to ensure Transportation Services can meet its obligation to maintain safe and sustainable infrastructure for our campus community. Monthly permits will increase $5 and daily permits will increase $0.25 for L and M zones and $0.50 for A, C+, and C zones.

Operational Update for the Pavilion Parking Structure

On Thursday, May 16, campus began work on the Pavilion Parking Structure to restrict public vehicle and pedestrian access to levels 5 and 6 of the structure. Fencing will be installed on the ramps, elevators will no longer stop at levels 5 and 6 and the stairwell above the 4th floor will be locked. These levels will now only be accessible to campus-authorized vehicles.

Bikes are a fairly normal thing in Davis, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take time to lift them up and celebrate them. May is National Bike Month, established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists, and continues locally as we celebrate 20 years of  May is Bike Month with our pals at Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA).
