It stop to get out and walk around and use bathroom when I pass through, been clean , only bumper is lotto machine sometimes empty. Has a Taco Bell Inside too.

This is my second time at this Pilot and they were both uninentional. Had to stop for pit stops and gas on the way from Atlanta to Dallas and it had to be this gas station. Not your biggest Pilot Gas Station but it has everything you need -- it's also not as busy so you're able to get what you need and be in and out. I don't believe they have showers either so if you're looking for that, this place isn't it. There's also a Taco Bell right next to the gas station so if you need some quick grub, you're able to grab that as you go. I generally had a good experience here and mostly everyone is friendly considering it being a rural area. It's ironic how I stopped by here twice but I'm glad it wasn't an unpleasant experience.
I either slept at this location over night or stopped here for gas and to use the restroom during my trip from the west coast to GA and then from GA back to the west coast. I likely rested at 7-10 different locations and stopped at 15 or more overall and they generally are all the same. Some have cleaner restrooms than others. A few offer FREE coffee while others don't. Make sure that you ask before you just walk out with coffee. Don't assume like I almost did. Of all the Flying J's/Pilot's I stopped at there were two that I didn't feel too safe or comfortable at. One was in Alabama and the other one was in Vega, TX. Other than that, I'm thankful for the service this company provides travelers. I even took a shower at one of them and that was a nice experience.
The 882 GA-100, Tallapoosa, GA 30176 location does not care about their customers. They just refuse to correct a mistake they made at one of their pumps causing my husband not to be able to get gas. He had to call the police and the kind police officer paid for his gas. We love Pilot..but the location in Tallapoosa are thieves.
Stopped here for gas and a pee, three hours after lunch in Alabama. The gas station was clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. It's also a truck stop so it has a whole bunch of other stops. Tops for me? Clean bathrooms. That makes 'em four stars for me.
We've stopped here many times for gas, bathroom breaks, and food. Never have to wait for a gas pump, and the bathrooms are always fairly clean and have toilet paper (which is a plus for trucker stops)! I've never eaten at the subway on site, but my husband recently grabbed two roller grilled items and thought they tasted a-ok! Also, plenty of space to walk a dog if you're traveling with a pet!
So the huge plus to this location (as with most remote gas station/convenience stores) quick access on and off the highway and they typically have paired with a fast food chain so you can pretty much one stop shop...quickly...and get back on the road. This location is no different. Really easy to get to when you exit the highway. Medium sized store that didn't set the standard for cleanliness, but was far (really far) from the worst I have ever seen. Plenty of quick snacks to grab (chips, pre-packaged cookies, nuts, candy, soda, sports drinks, etc) or if you are more in the mood for something warm Taco Bell is connected and can be accessed through the store. Gas prices are on par with every other location I have stopped at between B'ham and Atlanta. Pumps could use some updating but, they get the job done. I should add, the staff was friendly and courteous when checking out. Overall no real complaints and nothing that would prevent me from returning or suggesting to somebody else, but nothing really sets them apart from the what seems like hundreds of other places doing the same thing.
You cannot pay at the pump at this location. After swiping credit card, asks if you are a rewards member, if not press enter them the dreaded, see cashier. Basically punished if they don't have your email address and information from receiving a rewards card.
Gas pumps are antique and impossible to read. Cashier could care less. Extremely busy store with long waits. Not a very good example of Pilot/Flying J. I only use this station when necessary . .
Ladies room was a mess and out of TP. Manager wasn't concerned. Out of cups at the fountain drink machines. Gave up & left.
