Always bring extra memory cards and batteries for your camera. It’s been my experience that you can never take enough picture of places like the National Parks or the New York skyline.

With such a diverse climate from Alaska to Arizona and New York to San Francisco, there’s really never a bad time to travel through the U.S. You can always find something amazing.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Great Bike Tours. Our family-run company offers a wide range of active vacations to suit every taste and ability. Our season starts in January with our easy warm-winter bike tours in the Florida Keys & Everglades , followed in February and March by our once-in-a-lifetime 12-day New Zealand active vacation . In the Spring we run three trips on the east coast, starting with our Georgia’s Golden Isles bike vacation in early April, followed by our South Carolina Coast  and  Rhode Island Coast bike vacations in late April and May.

During the heat of summer we head up to cool New England, starting with our multi-sport vacation in New York’s Adirondack Park in August. In mid September we head back to the coast for our Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard bike tour .

In the autumn we feature several fall foliage bike trips, starting in late September with our New Hampshire: Mountains to the Sea trip, followed in early October by our famous Vermont fall foliage bike tours, and then in late October we head down to Colonial Williamsburg for our easy Virginia bike tour . Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Stroll Through Indianapolis, Hand in Hand

If Taylor Swift has the tour version of senioritis, it hasn’t kicked in yet. The billionaire singer’ s Eras Tour is down to its final US dates , a three-night stint in Indianapolis at the city’s Lucas Oil Stadium, but from all accounts, the shows have so far been as jam-packed with vigor as the tour’s March 2023 kickoff in Glendale, Arizona . Of course, work always feels easier when you have a loved one to meet you after you clock off—and on Saturday, that someone was Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce , who spent some of his weekend in the Hoosier state.

According to the Indianapolis Star , fans first realized Kelce was at the show when she did her now-iconic lyric change to her song “Karma,” singing “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” as she does when Kelce is in the stands. Shots posted to social media confirmed the athlete-turned-thespian’ s arrival at Lucas Oil. He later took a seat in the VIP section alongside the singer’s mother, Andrea Swift , People notes , with the pair dancing side-by-side during “So High School,” if this TikTok is to be believed.

As the show concluded, Kelce headed backstage, a move also captured and shared on social media . Another fan caught the pair on an Indianapolis street just outside the stadium right after the show.

Kelce wasn’t the only famous athlete at last night’s concert. Caitlin Clark , the wildly popular WNBA player who just concluded her first season with the Indiana Fever, attended the show with her mom, Sports Illustrated reports . The mother and daughter reportedly stood next to Kelce for much of the show—which was Clark’s second in a row, as she attended Friday’s tour stop with boyfriend Connor McCaffery.

Clark and Kelce have something in common beyond an appreciation of Swift’s work. Both have faced unprecedented scrutiny and public commentary in recent months, as much for their lives outside work as within it. But while Kelce and Clark appear to be navigating those stressors as well as they can, it’s possible that Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce , is facing more of a struggle. As reported by the New York Times and elsewhere, the senior Kelce—who also co-hosts the brothers’ New Heights podcast—engaged in an ugly fracas at Penn State Saturday, after a member of a crowd surrounding the former Philadelphia Eagle nonsensically asked him, using a slur intended to denigrate gay men, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f-----t for dating Taylor Swift?”

Upon hearing the question, Kelce reportedly grabbed his questioner’s phone, threw it to the ground, and responded—using the same bigoted word—“Who’s the f----t now?” As of publication time, neither member of the Kelce family has addressed the altercation or Kelce’s use of the offensive term.

And before you ask, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend wasn’t missing out on his day job to watch his girlfriend’s show. The as-yet-undefeated Chiefs aren’t playing until Monday night, when they’ll face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arrowhead Stadium, a quick seven-hour drive from Indy. This poses the obvious and much-Googled question, “Will Taylor Swift be at the next Kansas City Chiefs game?”

As her next Eras Tour show isn’t until a November 14-23 stint in Toronto, and as security concerns reportedly mea n she’s sticking to the team’s home games, it certainly seems very possible. That game will be the last one Swift is free to attend until after Sunday, December 8, when the Eras Tour sees its final show in Vancouver.

One Great Look: Doechii In Miu Miu

Her preppy-bossy aesthetic has my full attention.

Who knew that swamp princesses loved polo shirts ? Doechii is ten toes down on her new mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal , and taking the role of fashion darling seriously, reimagining her preppy vibe from the album cover to her sold-out show in Philadelphia wearing a Miu Miu look that screams “I just skipped school to lay down some tracks, but I’m still in my uniform.” As a Catholic school survivor, I’m buying what she’s selling.

For the Philly concert, she wore a look from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 show with a navy-blue polo and itty-bitty white skirt, with full-coverage bikini bottoms underneath ( we were clearly onto something ). She finished off the look with Adidas SL 72s, the better for stomping and running on the stage with her unmatched energy. In New York, the affect was similar, with an all-vintage look rivaling that of any Gossip Girl character in a zip-up jacket, pleated skirt, and knee-high boots . Her cutesy style guides for her fans encourages them to embody a similar aesthetic.

Like many others, Doechii first caught my attention with her viral track “Persuasive” back in 2021, but her position as a style star really cemented itself when she started promoting Alligator Bites Never Heal. A full Burberry look for her album promo had me sit up in my chair and take note, and when she stepped out at New York Fashion Week in look after look, I was fully tuned in. Just like she elides and dips over beats effortlessly, she turns into a fashion chameleon at the flip of a dime. One day, she leaned into school-professor drag in Thom Browne , the next she was barefoot in Willy Chavarria.

My standout look — and one that I squealed over in NYLON’s group Slack — was her at Brandon Maxwell in a burgundy patent strapless dress with voluminous hair. Clearly, she’s moved beyond the need for a TikTok-famous song to get her anywhere, as she spits in “DENIAL IS A RIVER”: “Platinum" record this, viral record that / I'm makin' so much money, I'm all over the net.” Now, she’s got the fashion world at her fingertips — and the best look of the week.
