The Suzy Ann, built in 1911, and celebrating her 100th year in 2011, is the flagship and can accommodate up to ten guests in great style and comfort. Restored for Cliveden in 1986, Suzy Ann subsequently won first prize for best professional restoration of a vintage boat at the Henley Traditional Boat Rally. Meals, drinks, picnics and small functions can all be catered for and enjoyed aboard this remarkable old piece of history whilst cruising the idyllic and picturesque waters of the famous River Thames.
Belmont, a resplendent 33 foot Thames slipper launch, can entertain up to four guests. Built in the 1930s, she's been painstakingly restored and is a most divinely extravagant way to cruise the Thames.

A trip to Cliveden would not be complete without a leisurely stroll around the beautiful 376-acre estate. An additional charge of £10 is levied by the National Trust for all guests visiting Cliveden House although if you are already a National Trust member there is no extra charge. Service charge not included.

Where exactly are you based?
What if it rains, do i need a licence for the self drive boats, are buoyancy aids supplied, are dogs allowed, what should we wear, what is your cancellation policy, are the boats accessible.
- Skippered cruises require 3 or 4 steps to be made down in to the boat. Boating at Cliveden staff will be happy to assist those requiring a little support.
- Self drive electric launches require two (large) steps down in to the boat which will lean a little as weight is applied.
- Rowing boats, Canadian canoes and the Pedal Boat all require good mobility to be able to safely board as the smaller size means they move more as weight is applied. These boats would not be recommended for those with limited mobility.
- Liddesdale requires good mobility as well as the ability to stand from a very low seated position.

Excellent 45 minute skippered boat trip on a new electric boat (quiet and so helpful in not disturbing wildlife). The skipper was friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the Cliveden estate. A one hour booking provides time to cruise downstream towards Boulter's lock passing Spring Cottage, Cliveden Estate and the riverside homes of Maidenhead. On your return upstream experience the best view of Cliveden House before heading upstream towards Cookham. For trips of more than an hour you will have time to pass through the locks.
